Once in the past, generations upon generations before the oldest and wisest of today's Monks, Kage and Daimyo were born, the Order of the Salamander was widely known and respected throughout the Village Hidden in the Rain. At that time, a young and all-powerful Shinobi became their prime contractor. Although he was not the first to call upon their power, he was the first to give himself fully to their ways. He lived his life by their philosophies of survival and added their name to his name effectively spreading their notoriety and renown as he spread his own. His battles were their battles, his victories were their victories, his legend was their legend and in time his end would become their end. He ruled Amegakure no Sato with an open hand instead of a closed fist but his power was respected enough to keep citizens in line and quell any problems that arose. But all men lived short lives and even the mightiest of rulers would have to pass the torch to the next generation or they would risk bringing darkness onto their people as their dying flame was finally snuffed out completely.

After the death of the Shinobi who embraced the Order of the Salamander the family withdrew from their heavy association with the land but remained close by, waiting for their return to prominence. In-fighting became ritual among the amphibians to ensure only the strongest and most enduring of their order survived. In their eyes, there would be no other way to gain another contractor who could surpass their last. They would cull their growing numbers and the ones who remained would crawl atop the dead as the elite. However in the midst of these proceedings an inner conflict was growing as a smaller group within the order began to disagree with the growing barbaric nature of the their kin. The Sage of the Salamander became obsessed with strengthening their family in his old age and saw fit to begin training an heir. He called upon a distant cousin to take his place after death but death proved too long a wait and the Sage was forced to kill in order to defend his title until the the proper time arose to pass on his legacy.

However where greed and tragedy closed one path, opportunity and chance opened another. The Sage's slain distant relative had recently sired a particularly large cluster of eggs that had not yet hatched. Staying true to the methods he had begun implementing for his kind he found the nesting ground where the eggs remained unhatched and counted their numerous numbers into the hundreds. Very carefully he arranged for the clusters of eggs to be moved to the outside world of the Shinobi. His orders were followed through to the letter and the eggs were moved to a place where they could hatch but were quickly abandoned thereafter, leaving both nature and fate to decide who lived and who died. Many cycles went by as the Sage continued to rule and when he returned to the location of the cluster only one tadpole and one egg remained. Pleased with the results the remaining two survivors were watched over in the Shinobi World until they had both reached a mature state. At which point they were returned to their ilk and trained as warriors.

Suishiooki, was the first to hatch and made it farthest into his growth without outside assistance. Because of this, he was chosen as the Sage's heir and was put through grueling training to assure that when the Sage passed, he would be ready to defend his new position as Sage against the older warriors who wanted nothing more than to kill him to increase their chances of ruling next. Suishiooki grew quickly under that lifestyle and before long was revered as the most talented Katon user the Order had ever seen, next to the Sage himself. Many suspected his fierce will and warrior spirit were due to the circumstances in which he and his brother's hatching occurred, as customs had always forbid eggs from being laid and hatched outside the territory the Order made for themselves. Katsushio, though soft-spoken and often in the shadow of his brother, was given his dues and respected for the survival of his hatching in the Shinobi World as well. He was also seen as somewhat of an oddity because of his relatively large chakra and his affinity with Suiton Jutsu which was exceedingly rare among the Order which was filled with Katon and Doton users.

As the generations rolled by many changes occurred in the Order in an attempt to recreate the power and skill wielded by Suishiooki and Katsushio. Before long it was forbidden for eggs to be laid or hatched in the land controlled by the Order and only the eggs that survived into a mature state in the Shinobi World unprotected were allowed to return to the Order's land. This rite became known as Jintsuu no Banshi or "Birth Pains of Certain Death" (出生の万死). Clusters were great but survivors were few and the Order was dying. The Sage could only see the beauty of his plans and ambitions, sure that his methods would strengthen the Order for generations to come well beyond his and even his heir's lifetimes. A large rift came to form when many younger females began hiding their egg clusters in Order territory and speaking out against the Sage's ways. Suishiooki's mate, Museimakaze was the most prominent of these females. A rare talent with Genjutsu she used her skills to conceal her whereabouts long enough to find a safe place for her first cluster to be laid within the Order's land, telling no one except Katsushio whom she trusted deeply and confided in. Well versed and raised in the Sage's ideals of survival and climbing atop the dead she took no chances and killed any who discovered her cluster.

Her plan would be short lived however as the Sage himself discovered what was the most massive cluster in all of the Order of the Salamander's history. He did so by following a string of older males going missing in a certain area which wasn't very hard considering how little of the older males were left. As father of the cluster Suishiooki had little problem with his offspring facing the same trials he faced when he hatched, but sadly, they would not get the chance. To make an example of Museimakaze's disobedience, The Sage personally gathered the entire Order to watch and destroyed the cluster of over five hundred eggs with a demonstration of his Katon Jutsu prowess. His motives were that killing Museimakaze directly would be a waste of a strong and fierce warrior and fertile female which he had too few left of either. Suishiooki had been fine with his children facing the same chances that he faced and it had become their law, a law he would have to one day enforce himself. So though Museimakaze pleaded with him on many occasions he refused to intervene knowing most of the offspring wouldn't make it back but hoping a lot of them did, as he himself had done. However, when he witnessed his mentor kill his entire cluster as if they were nothing to him he went into a state of shock. In an unforeseen fit of blind rage Suishiooki attacked the Sage, easily overpowering him in Taijutsu due to the age difference they possessed. The Sage's stamina was too small to properly defend himself in close quarters combat. However when the battle shifted to Ninjutsu the younger warrior was outclassed and his Katon only fueled the larger flames of his elder.

Critically wounded and in agony over his loss Suishiooki accepted defeat embracing the death about to befall him. Before the killing blow was made however Katsushio challenged the Sage himself. Although he was young and lacked some of the battle experience of his brother, Katsushio's massive chakra reserves made up for his modest lacks. His Taijutsu held strong enough to keep the Sage at mid-range and his unrivaled Suiton Jutsu overpowered the Katon Jutsu of his opposition. It was a grueling and legendary battle but by the end, the Sage was dead and Katsushio was clearly the most powerful in all the Order. With the death of the Sage of the Salamander came a clear divide between what was left of the Order. Most of the elders and some of the young were too afraid of change and wanted to remain in the Order. They chose to stay behind and follow the path set by the Old Sage, embracing the concept of in-fighting and crawling atop their dead to become the elite. They had been freed of the Old Sage's tyranny, but it was all they knew.

For Katsushio, Suishiooki, Museimakaze and a small group of others the teachings and methods of the Old Sage weren't totally abandoned. The concept of survival and endurance was in their nature as well as their nurture, and it became their greatest concern. But they would chose to survive and endure in their own way. They set out to find a path of their own. A path among the deep and unending waters that their new leader used to free them from their forced slaughtering of their kin. A path where they could build an Order all their own.

What started as a splinter in the Order would become a Sect... Sinn-Enn Bunpa no Imori... The Abysmal Sect of the Newt.

The Tokomaru are the prime shinobi the A.S.o.t.N. have aligned themselves with. Their history together is not long and filled with stories but in it's infancy and filled with possibilities.

The Summon Totem that is used to call forth a familiar of the Abysmal Sect of the Newt is located in Taki no Kuni on the section of the Country that is the farthest to the north as possible without going back into Tsuchi no Kuni territory. It sits atop a shrine that has been carved into the side of a mountain. This shrine is located under a large peak that overlooks the massive ocean to the north. Once the shrine is disturbed a seemingly endless swarm of small newts will overrun the users and knock them into the ocean below. Those knocked in always awaken in the mountains unharmed. However, for a chosen who the Newt deem worthy, they will awaken in a place quite different than the Waterfall Country.

This family resides in the Comet Cascade, a series of waterfalls that branch off into a series of underwater caverns. Collectively the territory is massive and easily twice the size of the Order's land on which Kutsushio, the Newt Sage was raised. This place, all but unreachable by the conventional means of the Shinobi, is the place the Newt call home. Here they grow their numbers with care and stability because of the trials they faced to escape their places in the Order of the Salamander and establish a new home for themselves and their young. To protect what they have built several Rites have been prepared that each potential contractor must pass before they are allowed to sign their blood with the Newt and enter Comet Cascade.

• Gishiki no Sanzon

Although the Old Sage of the Salamander took the ideals too far the Newt still very much believe in survival and endurance as a way of life. As such the A.S.o.t.N. will refuse to take on contractors who have not endured in their own lives and grown into a state of moderate power and maturity on their own. This one is the most basic and fundamental of rites dating back to the hatching Katsushio and Suishiooki themselves.

The Newt believe that a Shinobi contractor who joins with a summoning family cannot be just a patsy of their generation and village seeking to garner power and nothing more. To them, a contractor is an avatar or representative of their family to the Shinobi World. All that the contractor does and is will be a reflection on them as one. Just as Shinobi seek an animal that they can identify with, the A.S.o.t.N. will only accept Shinobi whom they can also identify with. This is the oldest of rites dating back to the Amegakure no Sato Shinobi who embraced the name of the Salamander so heavily that it spread both their legends as one.

The History has taught the Newt that diversity is an undeniable part of survival as Katsushio's rare Suiton Jutsu was the key to defeating the Old Sage. Because of this the A.S.o.t.N. seeks contractors whom have abilities they do not, giving their union a wider variety of Jutsu and thus, improving their odds of surviving different enemies. A major rule in regards to Ninjutsu Primary Shinobi who seek their power is that only those who have access to releases uncommon to the Newt may become a contractor.[/li][/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size][/spoiler]

• Description: Hojose is 1.1 Meters (3.6 ft.) long. His skin is a pale white color and his eyes an olive color. He is both the youngest and smallest of the Seniors. As an egg he was part of the first cluster to hatch in Comet Cascade, because of this he was looked to as a beacon of light for the future that the elders wished for the next generation. Seen as the first of many to grow in their new home and become capable of standing next to the elders to join Shinobi contractors in battle. His personality is cool, calm and collected to the extreme. He is carefree and very relaxed opting to never

[/i] get excited in or out of battle. He idolizes Katsushio, more so than anyone else in the A.S.o.t.N. but never resorts to fanboy tendencies or gushing.
[/li][li]Special Abilities: Hojose was given his name due to a unique secretion that forms in his throat that effectively allows him to support almost all other Newt in battle. Alone it is harmless but when exposed to chakra molded to yield attacks of an elemental nature it becomes noticeably formidable. It reacts differently to each element usually in a manner that has good battle application. When exposed to Katon and Raiton jutsu it is a highly volatile substance adding burning and explosive damage. While in the presence of Fuuton, Suiton & Doton it's properties become more corrosive in nature attacking places water, wind and airborne dirt, soil and sediment can carry it such as the eyes, skin, ect. Hojose can spray this substance at will from his mouth adding one rank of damage to all attacks born the basic elemental releases barring Ototon/Sound.[/li][/ul]

PACHINKO

• Description: Each contractor the A.S.o.t.N. allows to sign with them is encouraged to keep one newt from Mure no Shiyu with them at all times for quick transfer of information. This one, is a son of the young Senior, Hojose. He is also the chosen newt to travel with the prime contractor of the Tokomaru family. He is identical to his father in appearance but he is, like the rest of Mure no Shiyu, under 5 inches long. Pachinko is very young and curious about most things and unafraid to ask questions about those things. These qualities have made him very chatty and most of the time he is inappropriately so. Unless it's of absolute importance to remain virtually soundless he usually will not stop talking, even then, he may still talk.
  
• Special Abilities: Acts as the information relay point between the A.S.o.t.N. and their shinobi partner in the Tokomaru family.

MURE NO SHIYU

• Description: The Juniors under Hojose are actually the newt who are extremely young, have only recently come into maturity and have no sublime fighting power themselves. They are used strictly in an information gathering sense as their chakra use is undeveloped and at that stage of their lives, almost nonexistent. This extremely low chakra and their extremely small size makes them ideal for infiltration. They exist in the thousands in a wide spectrum of colors and natural terrain advantages making each of them best suited for infiltration of different locale. They measure out to be anywhere from 2 to 5 inches.
  
• Special Abilities: They are no different physically than the shinobi world's normal and common newt due to their miniscule chakra and diminutive size. This makes them ideal for infiltration and information gathering.

• Description: Dousaeki is 8 meters (26.2 ft.) in length though 13 ft. of that length is his tail. His skin is an olive/brown color while his belly is tan. His hands and feet are blue and that blue color is on his back as well but in the form of spots. He was actually taken in as an egg as the young Newt leaders left the Order of the Salamander searching for territory of their own. He hatched during that journey and the unstable environment which he was born into is the cause for his tense and jittery disposition today. Dousaeki's personality is just as carefree as Hojose's but he's jumpy and very high-strung. Paranoid and anxious about all things, at all times Dousaeki studies Taijutsu under Suishiooki and excels in it despite his nervous nature. He is very brave and he believes the best way to further the A.S.o.t.N. is to train hard and pass on what he knows before he dies, if the stress of day to day life doesn't kill him first.

They focus on hitting hard and fast using efficient maneuvers. However, their training does not only cover offense; their bodies are extremely enduring and efficient.

When moving to guard an attack, instead of simply blocking or swatting the attack away, they strike at the body of the incoming attack in order to stop it (i.e. if a punch is coming, instead of swatting it away, the user will strike at the forearm or elbow of the incoming punch, thereby deflecting and attacking at the same time). If a weapon is used, they attempt to close in and strike at the body holding the weapon.

    Description: Immediately following 'Shuugeki!' the Tenjouken practitioner grabs onto their target. Usually, this is done near the shoulders on whatever their opponent is wearing, but anywhere will do; then, instead of mounting them (as this can be dangerous considering possible weaponry, ninjutsu, and genjutsu), they tuck their legs in just underneath them and over the body of their enemy. From there, they "jump" off of their target with all their strength, slamming them into the ground with its force and rocketing off of them.

Special: Takes the edge off of enemy Taijutsu attacks, taking damage as though the technique was one rank lower. Can only be performed on the ground.
Description: One of the first things a Tumbler has to learn: how to fall. Or, more accurately, how to fall without getting hurt. Light on their feet as they are, the user can reduce the impact of many Taijutsu techniques simply by leaping backwards at the last second. As a second part of this technique, the user contorts their body in air so they land without unnecessary injury. This technique has a few obvious limitations, namely an inability to thwart piercing force, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. This technique is also ineffective at ranks higher than what is currently learned by the user.

• Ukemi - Takai (Receiving Body - Elevated)⁷⁵

  Special: Takes the edge off of enemy Taijutsu attacks, taking damage as though the technique was one rank lower. Can only be used in mid-air.
  Description: Taking the idea of Ukemi to it's natural extreme, experienced users can lessen the impact of attacks that hit them, even in mid-air where they have nothing to jump back from. To do this, users will accept the force of the attack and flip or rotate away from the force of the blow. This technique is tricky, and won't work on attacks that manage to hit dead center. (The solar plexus, from which there is no easy point of rotation.)

Description: Setting themselves up, the user of this technique will do any number of backwards handstands as they bridge the gap between themselves and their opponent. Then, with a back-flip, they lash out with a downward kick using the toe end of the foot in a circular motion. Despite it's rather long set-up, it uses rotational force to decent effect.

• Tōchaku Ushiro Chūgaeri Daisaigai (Backflip Crescent Catastrophe)⁵⁰

  Description: A more advanced technique that uses both rotational force and gravity to dangerous effect. Taking to the sky, the user launches into a back-flip, and with one leading leg launches a downward kick in a circular motion as they come back down to earth. This technique is considerably more dangerous than the Backflip Crescent; inexperienced users are at risk for botching the landing and injuring themselves.

Description: A surprise attack designed to use leverage and rotational force in place of brute strength. The user leaps on the opponent, performing a handstand on his victim's shoulders so that he is upside down, facing in the same direction. They then finish their flip, grabbing their victim's shoulders and using the force of their fall to throw the opponent clear over their back.

Mae Chūgaeri Kyūhassha (Frontflip Cannonball)⁵⁰

Description: The user tucks themselves into a ball as they leap for their opponent. The objective is to crash into the enemy with one's whole weight, literally turning oneself into a human cannonball. Apart from size her body shares a heavy resemblance with that of her younger brother Dousaeki. Her skin is an olive/brown color while her belly is more of an amber color, with her feet and hands blue. Unlike her Dousaeki she does not share his spots. During the time when Katsushio lead those who would follow out of the Order of the Salamander Teikiatsunonaji was a tadpole in the final stages of reaching maturity and returning to the Order's territory. She learned what was expected of her from other tadpoles who hatched before her and returned home, or died trying. When she learned that the Order was splitting in two she decided to leave with the side that would allow her to bring her unhatched brothers and sisters with her. In awe over Katsushio's power and generosity she at that very young age fell very much in love with the young Sage. At which point, Museimakaze took notice of her feelings and named her though most in the A.S.o.t.N. now call her "Naji" for short. Since that time she has grown to a mature and powerful female and is generally thought of to become Katsushio's mate although they have yet to have a cluster of eggs of their own. Her personality is warm, understanding and patient though she is no pushover. She strives to solve conflict though nonviolence but once it is painfully obvious the time for talk is past she seldom hesitates to make a killing blow.

The momentum of the wind burst at their feet sends the user in a specific direction a meter away instantly, nearly akin to that of Shunshin speed, the use of Sarutobi no Jutsu halting the sudden burst of momentum mid-air. This is often used as a successful mean for dodging attacks.

By fusing the chakra with the inhaled air, wind builds in their lungs, before the user expels it in a jet of pressurized wind at the opponent. This rapid stream of wind can pierce through skin and bone easily if not evaded.

A green aura takes shape, and is quickly replaced by a spherical casing of highly condensed wind. The user simply needs to throw a punch at a target and the wind will continue to travel, lengthening the range of the punch itself. Contact with this high density wind will cause cuts from a distance, but a close-range or contact punch has the ability to cause major internal damage in the afflicted area.

Description: The element of surprise always gives one a leg up in combat; in the case of Kaze no Keri, this particular fact is more than true. After performing the correct hand seals, the user focuses their Fuuton chakra on their dominant leg and rushes toward the opponent. When they leap in the air to perform a roundhouse kick, the wind will have created a very faint extension of the leg, making it harder for the opponent to dodge. The wind is a solid force, not unlike the leg itself, and has the potential to do serious internal damage.

'X' Casting I

Casting allows the user to perform two or more jutsu from one's mastery at the same time, essentially leaving your targets with twice the trouble to deal with! When first learned, two Mastery jutsu may be used at once. each time re-acquired, one more jutsu is added the consecutive fire. Keep in mind that casting jutsu simultaneously does not reduce chakra costs in any way, though the hand-seal time is - only the longest seal progression will be used! (so if you have a 10 seal jutsu and a 9 seal jutsu, it'll only count for 10 seals).




Efficient Sealing I[/i][/color]
With enough time and practice, the ninja learns to master the art of Efficient Sealing - that is, requiring less hand seals for techniques. Because this Mastery level is multi-leveled, each one attained makes a jutsu hand count one rank less than it would be - i.e. 2 masteries of this in one Release, say Fire, means an 'A' ranked Fire jutsu has a 'C' ranked handseal count.

When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the Mastery class for one chakra consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.

As a second part of this technique, the user contorts their body in air so they land without unnecessary injury. This technique has a few obvious limitations, namely an inability to thwart piercing force, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. This technique is also ineffective at ranks higher than what is currently learned by the user.

Since finding Comet Cascade Mazake has improved her skills as a Genjutsu master and has even become a mother after laying a successful egg cluster with her mate, Suishiooki. The oldest and strongest of her children are now of power suffice enough to fight alongside contractors as Junior warriors. Museimakaze is not cold by nature but she is reserved. Although her hated for the Old Sage of the Salamander burns deeper than that of any of the A.S.o.t.N. she clings the most to his ways of endurance and survival believing that "going easy" on someone be they friend or foe, will deny them their natural right to fight back and grow stronger from experience. She loves the sect she has helped build with her mate and his brother with all her heart and she would die to protect it. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over. Most effective in enclosed areas such as forests or jungle.

Description: Magen � Jigoku Gouka no Jutsu is a visual genjutsu technique that causes the user's target to see a vision of fire. After forming the needed handseals, a huge ball of fire will descend from the sky to envelope the user's chosen target. The victims of the genjutsu will believe they are being engulfed by a torrent of fire and will most likely feel compelled to flee their location for safety, in fear of their lives.

Description: An extremely gruesome Genjutsu technique associated with touch. After forming the needed seals, the user will stare deep into the essence of their target and begin to project their illusion. Within moments, the victim will feel their arms freeze in place, unable to move as they begin to inflate. Then, without warning, the arms explode, releasing the bloody contents like a popped balloon. The victim is left to stand there horrified, their arms dangling and useless as they are lay helpless.

Special: Must be staring at victim, with their dominant arm and hand overstretched, and the fingers clinging the air and choking the victim as if the user was actually doing so. Can only be used on a single victim at a time. The longer it is used, the closer the victim gets to passing out.
Description: The ultimate choke. Named supposedly after a fabled legend of children's manga, this illusion allows the caster to choke their victim's from a fixed distance as if they were actually doing so. The vice placed on their victim's neck is extremely hard, and if not dispelled, can be used to completely crush their throat.

Description: One of the more advanced visual Genjutsu techniques, Kokuangyou no Jutsu causes the user's opponent to be enveloped in total darkness. While in the black void, the ninja will be unable to see any incoming attack or threat, or have any use for any of their senses for that matter.

In this case, the user is allowed to make a clone that, when it disperses, turns into an illusory flock of bats who's purposes are only to confuse the opponent.

Description: Kamikorosu is a Genjutsu technique where the user pretends to prepare a jutsu, then suddenly, a giant monstrous bat comes out of the sky, devouring the user in front of his opponent. The sight is a bloody mess, with the user crying in pain and agony as the monster rips him limb from limb, eating him and roaring at his target. After being 'devoured', the user is invisible until he or she performs an action.

'X' Casting I

Casting allows the user to perform two or more jutsu from one's mastery at the same time, essentially leaving your targets with twice the trouble to deal with! When first learned, two Mastery jutsu may be used at once. each time re-acquired, one more jutsu is added the consecutive fire. Keep in mind that casting jutsu simultaneously does not reduce chakra costs in any way, though the hand-seal time is - only the longest seal progression will be used! (so if you have a 10 seal jutsu and a 9 seal jutsu, it'll only count for 10 seals).




Efficient Sealing I & II[/i][/color]
With enough time and practice, the ninja learns to master the art of Efficient Sealing - that is, requiring less hand seals for techniques. Because this Mastery level is multi-leveled, each one attained makes a jutsu hand count one rank less than it would be - i.e. 2 masteries of this in one Release, say Fire, means an 'A' ranked Fire jutsu has a 'C' ranked handseal count.

When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the Mastery class for one chakra consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.

This whistle is the creation and expulsion of the bullet(s), with the number varying on the rank of the technique.

Once enough chakra is sustained, the user screams forth in a specific direction, releasing pressurized sound waves to blast into the distance, knocking any unfortunate beings within the technique's range off their feet and thrown meters behind. The size of the sound wave is a mere meter-by-meter diameter.

  Description: An extremely simple technique within the manipulation of the Sound Element, upon performing the handseal, the user sends vibrating sound chakra through a wire that they are physically touching to a Senbon Bell, which is normally attached along or at the end of the wire. This vibrating chakra forces the Sound Bells to vibrate in effect, potentially creating several "ringing bell" sounds around an opponent. Though weak and unnecessary at first glance, this is simply a follow-up technique for more deadly, advantageous tactics.

  Special: This jutsu only works when a sound is being made. The mirage itself is limited to move where the sound was originally made, no more than the same distance as "Sound Dominion". The sound acts as a trigger for the genjutsu; therefore, if the opponent does not hear the sound, the mirage is not seen. While the mirage is a visual illusion the trigger is activated by hearing. The mirage can only be an image of yourself or of someone else the PC has seen and encountered in the past. For example, you cannot just create a mirage of a giant bijuu to make the opponent flee. Up to one mirage can be made per turn, plus one each time retrained. Mirages lasts until victim destroys or disrupts the illusion.
  Description: The user focuses their chakra on a noise or vibration and manipulates the sound waves to create a quick lasting mirage. The mirage usually consists of the users own image, but with enough skill the user can create any image they want.

  Description: The user merges any guitar-like instrument with sound chakra, then strums briskly across the strings, projecting the sound chakra into the air as sharp, vibrating blades. Each blade is the size of an average-sized katana, which travel through the air at the same speed as a thrown kunai, and can only be projected in one direction. These blades can also deflect thrown projectiles of lesser rank without hindering their speed at all.

Description: One of the first things a Tumbler has to learn: how to fall. Or, more accurately, how to fall without getting hurt. Light on their feet as they are, the user can reduce the impact of many Taijutsu techniques simply by leaping backwards at the last second. As a second part of this technique, the user contorts their body in air so they land without unnecessary injury. This technique has a few obvious limitations, namely an inability to thwart piercing force, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. This technique is also ineffective at ranks higher than what is currently learned by the user.

  Description: Taking the idea of Ukemi to it's natural extreme, experienced users can lessen the impact of attacks that hit them, even in mid-air where they have nothing to jump back from. To do this, users will accept the force of the attack and flip or rotate away from the force of the blow. This technique is tricky, and won't work on attacks that manage to hit dead center. (The solar plexus, from which there is no easy point of rotation.)

He was caught in a powerful Genjutsu of his mothers' creation for years until his mind developed enough to understand what was wrong with him although by that time his psychosis had already formed. He was driven mad the Genjutsu he'd been under for so long and in a craze he ate his own tail freeing himself from the illusion. Today he suffers nightmares in his sleep and hallucinations while awake that don't allow him to make heads or tails on if his surroundings are Genjutsu derived or based in reality as such he is constantly eating his tail in attempt to free himself from a Genjutsu he only might be under. On the battlefield he hides inside the clothing of the contractor and if commanded to, or left to his devices he will gnaw off a sufficient enough piece of his own tail to free himself from Genjutsu and then use his Chakra to free the shinobi contractor.

• Description: Suishiooki is 51 meters (167.3 ft.) long but standing vertically gives him a height of 28 meters (91.8 ft.). In physical appearance he stands out in the Sect not just because he is the largest but because his beige body is adorned with black tiger-like stripes. He is well respected as an elder being that he is the oldest male in the A.S.o.t.N. and the older brother of their Sage as well as the first to pass the "Birth Pains of Certain Death" (出生の万死), the rite of the Order of the Salamander that eventually caused the rift that would create the A.S.o.t.N. Comet Cascade has been Suishiooki's beloved home for generations and he's even become a father since settling into the territory. The water surroundings however didn't leave him room to improve his Katon Jutsu so to remain a prime combatant he has since put all that he has into his Taijutsu and the training of Taijutsu to the younger Newt. Suishiooki, like the A.S.o.t.N. is still fairly young in appearance due to the regenerative properties all Newt possess. In his more mature age however, he remains as no-nonsense as possible in and out of battle but does not scold his underlings for making mistakes. He watched as hundreds of his brothers and sisters died after hatching and before long only himself and the unhatched Katsushio were left alive to endure. Those brothers and sisters did not survive but the fact that they tried means the world to him after all these years. In his eyes the effort means so much more than the final failure or success. He carries no ill will towards his younger brother for becoming the sage that Suishiooki himself was raised to become. He is Katsushio's most trusted adviser and he enjoys the freedoms he gained from not having the responsibilities of a leader. It leaves him time to enjoy his home and his family.

Description: A very basic but effective taijutsu attack, the Kaiten involves the user's leg in a reverse downward kick. After launching themselves into the air and begin to somersault, the user gains momentum within the chosen striking limb and come spinning down, laying their heels into the target's shoulders and head.

Description: A very deadly and efficient taijutsu attack. While at an elevated position, the user will grab their opponent from behind. Firmly locking themselves to their back, the user will then lock their ankles onto the opponent's neck in order to get their body rigid. Finally, on the descent, the user proceeds to drive and plant the victim head first into the ground. Essentially a belly to back pile-driver, the move can provide a great concussion to his opponent's head.

Description: An effective aerial attack, the user first begins to maneuver to their opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing them, the user will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. First, they will strike as a feint in order to draw their target's attention and defense to one area. Then, a true strike is made towards the most undefended area, proceeded by several more until the user violently begins knocking them down and towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, the user will deftly rotate their body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest.

Oitsumeru (Chasing Them Down)⁵⁰

Special: Allows another kick to be done while in the air, after successfully landing one kick.
Description: A simple Taijutsu manuever where the user takes to the air and delivers three sturdy straightforward kicks while turning, with each new kick the user spins, to more effectively attack with the other leg. Once connected, the user can choose to deliver yet another kick. As long as the user has successfully hit something physical, they can remain within the air performing as many kicks as this jutsu allows. This does normal damage, but repeated hits upon the same section or vicinity can cause fractures or even breaks.

Crouching down into a stance of one knee upon the ground, the other stretched to the side, the body begins to utilize the chakra build up, as the enemy gets within three feet of the user, the user of Saierntodoragon can push off the ground at an angle facing the opponent and attempt to slice through the opponent, or whatever the opponent chose to block with. This technique is a last ditch move, due to the stress of the strike and the amount of chakra needed.

Swiftness I & II

Swiftness is reserved for those within the Taijutsu realm, who have invested enough time and effort into a particular style in order to master it. In the end, any move or attack from within the mastered style performed results in the user's normal movement speed being increased - to be exact, if a user's maximum speed with a particular Style is 100%, each rank of this Mastery attained boosts that speed by 20%, maxing out at 200%!



Consumption - Stamina Reduction I[/i][/color]
Stamina mastery allows the user excellent control over the stamina they use, how it's molded, and ultimately, how much is used, so much so that they can lower the stamina consumption of all mastery jutsu. When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the Mastery class for one stamina consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.

Special: Improves the user's physical brawn, granting all Taijutsu performed enhanced strength, even basic physical attacks, heightening the power of the assault with bonus damage equal to the highest rank known of this technique. However, due to the layers of muscle stacked on the user's body, their agility suffers greatly after certain points of advancement, their movement decreased by one-fourth after obtaining the 'C' Rank version of this technique, and decreased even further, by one-half after obtaining the 'A' Rank version. Due to their great physical prowess, the user can also gain significant lifting capabilities, the weight determined by the highest rank known of this technique.

With this attribute in mind, it is wise of the practitioners of this style to understand patience, as well as the responsibilities that come with such power.

  Type: Supplementary / Defensive / Taijutsu
  Range: Self
  Stamina: Very Low - Massive
  Special: Can successfully endure a blunt attack used against the user without slowing their momentum or sustaining any physical damage, but requires the user to sacrifice Stamina of equal rank to each technique used against them. Piercing/slashing techniques, those that exploit elemental weaknesses, or techniques of higher rank are unaffected by this technique. Cannot be used against Genjutsu.
  Description: Those of the Akusen style have come to understand that their muscular mass has both offensive and defensive qualities, manipulating both to the best of their abilities. The initiation of this technique is quite simple, the user builds energy and stamina, preparing themselves for the incoming assault. Then, once the technique comes into contact with the user of this technique, their iron-clad muscle sustains the damage like a suit of armor, preventing the user from being affected in any way. The user must be careful when utilizing this ability, due to the equivalent drain of stamina, which can render them useless in battle, even if they survive the assault.

The user must successfully survive the opponent's techniques with 'Muteki' in order to increase their own strength. Does not affect multiple Taijutsu techniques after this technique's use. User must wait a single turn before utilizing 'Muteki' again, while 'Okaeshi' has a cooldown of three turns.
    Description: The next step to increasing one's brawn within the art of augmented muscle, the user is able to transfer damage nullified by 'Muteki' into adrenaline, increasing the power of their next technique based on the strength of the techniques used against them. This technique requires patience, and if the user cannot successfully defend themselves against the opponent's techniques, the build of adrenaline disappears. The idea of this technique is based primarily on the scientific explanation of the transfer of energy: momentum inflicted upon the user does not simply become nonexistent, but is transformed into adrenaline, which is inflicted back upon the opponent through the user's own Taijutsu. However, this amplified strength does not come passively, and still requires the user to consume additional Stamina.

The powerful clap sends the momentum of the strike through the target's membrane, causing temporary damage, such as the sudden lack of hearing and disorientation in their sight and movement.

  Description: Kougou Kensei, a technique that undoubtedly displays the incredible brawn of the Akusen. The user simply gathers strength in an area of their body, then detains the target through some form of retaining method, whether it be a headlock, a nelson, an ankle-lock, a chokehold, or even a bearhug. The purpose of the technique is to be able to completely immobilize the target by utilizing the user's awe-inspiring brawn to overpower them. This does not mean the target is incapable of maneuvering themselves, this is only a mean for grasping the opponent, and being incapable of removing that constraint, unless the user is overwhelmed.

However, in order for this technique to succeed, the user must apply force to the target's chest, neck, or head, which causes the submission. The versatile capabilities of this techniques predecessor may be advantageous for it's own reason, but when converting to the use of this technique, the user has no choice but to limit the area of strangulation.

Without the need of a running head-start, while in extreme close-range, the user can simply place their opposite hand upon the fist of the 'charging elbow' arm that they plan to use as their weapon. Using gravity as the harbringer of the opponent's destruction, the user simply free-falls onto the target, the weight of their body plummeting into the opponent with devastating force, the severity increased based on the user's own weight. The body press is quite simple and easy to dodge, but if the user is heavy enough, and the target is not aware, the body splash can easily crush the opponent.

The user begins the opponent's demise by building strength into their arms and legs, stamina gaining rapidly. Then, once the target is within arm's reach, the user slams the head of the target between their user's legs, prepared to lift the target into a powerbomb. However, this does not occur just yet, the utilized stamina in their legs thrusting them several meters in the air, allowing even more momentum to build. Through the use of gravity and their own physical strength, upon reaching the climax, the user initiates the lifting maneuver, the target placed upon a sitting position on their shoulders as the user descends. Once the ground is mere feet from being met, the user completes the threatening technique, the weight of gravity and the user's own defines muscles colliding the target's head with the earth itself. The technique, if done correctly, is not only capable of shattering every bone in the target's body, but can easily kill them. Description: One of the first things a Tumbler has to learn: how to fall. Or, more accurately, how to fall without getting hurt. Light on their feet as they are, the user can reduce the impact of many Taijutsu techniques simply by leaping backwards at the last second. As a second part of this technique, the user contorts their body in air so they land without unnecessary injury. This technique has a few obvious limitations, namely an inability to thwart piercing force, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. This technique is also ineffective at ranks higher than what is currently learned by the user.

To do this, users will accept the force of the attack and flip or rotate away from the force of the blow. This technique is tricky, and won't work on attacks that manage to hit dead center. (The solar plexus, from which there is no easy point of rotation.)

The user of this technique lashes out while still in mid-rotation, creating a crescent shaped kick in whatever direction they happen to be spinning. Unexpected and difficult to dodge in mid-air, this technique allows the user to return the opponent's force right back at them.

Description: The most basic technique of Tenjouken, this lays the foundation for the entirety of the style. It is a training of the body and a utilization of it to its utmost potential. Though not on the levels of the chakra-enhanced strength utilized by medic-nin, practitioners of Tenjouken have amazing physical power and speed with which to back it up. They focus on hitting hard and fast using efficient maneuvers. However, their training does not only cover offense; their bodies are extremely enduring and efficient.

When moving to guard an attack, instead of simply blocking or swatting the attack away, they strike at the body of the incoming attack in order to stop it (i.e. if a punch is coming, instead of swatting it away, the user will strike at the forearm or elbow of the incoming punch, thereby deflecting and attacking at the same time). If a weapon is used, they attempt to close in and strike at the body holding the weapon.

Usually, this is done near the shoulders on whatever their opponent is wearing, but anywhere will do; then, instead of mounting them (as this can be dangerous considering possible weaponry, ninjutsu, and genjutsu), they tuck their legs in just underneath them and over the body of their enemy. From there, they "jump" off of their target with all their strength, slamming them into the ground with its force and rocketing off of them.

  Description: By kicking against the air and utilizing chakra similar to the way it is used when walking on water, the user is able to "double jump." This can be used in any direction, for a second upward boost, to alter momentum midair to avoid an attack, or even upwards to plummet to the ground with a boost of momentum.

Special: Shunpo is a high-speed movement in which the user travels in a linear fashion from one point to another. Usually facilitated with some sort of distraction (smoke bomb, explosion, or something of that nature to obscure one's vision), the user of the Shunpo can, in some cases, appear to have simply teleported from one location to another. The user can Shunpo once per thread, plus once more each time retrained. One cannot attack or perform techniques during Shunpo.
Description: Shunpo, a Taijutsu master's response to the Body Flicker Technique, relies solely on the user's ability to harness their inner ki and gain enough stamina to withstand the sudden strain imposed on one's legs. However, once properly trained, the Taijutsu Type will find their legs moving at speeds unknown to common man, to the point most would make the foolish mistake of assuming one is using Shunshin. However, unlike that chakra inspired run, Shunpo is pure stamina and movement skill, allowing for tighter, quicker, and more reactionary movements essential for someone that relies on movement. Although Shunpo itself moves in a single line, its many variations is what makes it so lethal.

With the angled attack, it increases the user's ability to strike after the Shunpo.

Description: Nearing their Shunpo mastery, the user has nearly mastered all the aspects behind the natural high-speed movement. Not only can they now move about freely at such impressive speeds with little restrictions, but they are now able to move so fast that copies of themselves are left behind, perfectly resembling their master for a brief moment in order to provide confusion for the enemy. Only chakra sensing methods will be able to discern the faux presentation, but everything moves so fast the opponent is often left without time to react, turning them quickly into a victim.

  Description: As its name implies, the Mist Waltz is just that – a vicious mist expelled by the user through their mouth at high speeds, which, when in contact with any form of flame, will create a napalm like explosion, enhancing the fire and even creating disastrous fires which quickly spread and burn. The user must be careful however, as any Fuuton jutsu of equal or greater rank could easily blow back the mist and turn the effects on the user.

• Ryuuka no Jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)⁵⁰

  Special: Trapping each opponent consumes 10 meters worth of wire, so the user must have sufficient wire in the first place to trap his opponent. However, after every fourth retraining, chakra consumption goes up by one.
  Description: With this technique, the user takes advantage of what projectiles and accessories grant a shinobi in battle. In this case, armed with extensive wire, the user uses their chakra to move and bind the opponent, and once trapped, a stream of hot fire travels across the wire and envelops the victim whole.

Comprised purely of a most intense fire, this clone retains the user movement speed and strength. Best of all, due to its flowing essence, the fire clone is capable of using a hefty amount of the original user's fire-based techniques either for defensive means or offensive.

• Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique)²⁵

  Special: Produces an intense stream of fire that can move as long, as far and as fast as one's 'Enkou Shinka' rank, halved. Because the flames are slightly more intense than other katon jutsu, each time this is retrained, the user can stack 'C' ranked burning damage. However, for every fourth retraining, chakra consumption will go up by one. Stream can last up to a whole turn, but when using this jutsu, the user must be standing still.
  Description: Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a fundamental katon ninjutsu technique which allows the user to freely control fire itself as it leaves their body. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. During this point, they then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

• Gouryuuka no Jutsu (Great Dragon Fire Technique)³⁰⁰

  Special: Distance and speed at which the dragon heads can travel depends on the user's highest 'Enkou Shinka' rank. Dragon heads measure 1/5th of one's 'Enkou Shinka' distance. Up to 1 dragon head can be fired, plus one more each time retrained. However, after every third retraining, chakra consumption shall go up by one. Upon contact, dragon heads explode in a napalm like nature, spreading the flames all around in a radius equal to the size of its head; each explosion contains bonus burning damage equivalent to the stacked 'Great Fireball' retraining. As with 'Great Fireball', when using this jutsu, the user must be standing still in order to control the powerful blasts of fire.
  Description: An evolution of the Great Fireball, the user is now able to take the flames expelled and morph them into fast moving projectiles. Fierce and potent, this Katon ninjutsu allows the user to expel fireballs in the form of a dragon’s head after forming the needed hand seals. Shot from the mouth, these powerful fireballs can punch through concrete and wood with ease, and leaves a terrible fiery explosion in its wake.

  Description: After forming the needed handseals, the user will expel an ash cloud from his mouth, tinted a dark stoic gray. This large cloud will quickly begin to envelope the area in which a foe stands and when the user clicks their teeth, the cloud will ignite in an violent, fiery napalm-like explosion.

• 暑い Atsui Haigara no Jutsu (Silent Flame Geyser Technique)⁵⁰

  Special: Heat spreads all around the user with them in the center; thus the radius of the heat depends on the user's highest 'Enkou Shinka' rank, halved. Ground cannot be moist or wet in general. Additionally, if the technique is in play and rain is brought upon the area the technique will cease. Although the user is not damaged by the heat, their heat can still set anything nearby ablaze if it's susceptible, which in turn CAN harm the user. Suiton jutsu 'B' ranked and above can automatically cancel the heat. Finally, this technique can produce a small, near invisible geyser of heat 1 meter in diameter randomly around the range of the heat, plus 1 more each time retrained. However, after every fourth retraining, chakra consumption goes up by one.
  Description: Once the user performs and finishes a string of handseals, the ground the user stands upon will heat up. The heat is so extreme that anything within a specific radius will slowly melt. Due to this, any caught victim will find their movement's decrease considerably, their footwear stuck due to the fusion of heat and melted material. Even better, if the opponent isn’t wearing any footwear the technique will cause first degree burns upon the soles of their feet and grow into second degree burns if they remain atop the burning ground for too long!

• Chirashi Honoo (Scattering Flames)³⁰⁰

  Special: Size of fire ring and height it can reach depends on the user's higest 'Enkou Shika' rank, halved. Flames move away from the user in all directions in a wave/pulse like form, moving at 'Enkou Shika' flame speeds. On top of this, expanding flames act as a barrier against projectiles of equal or lower rank. Each time retrained, the user stacks the strength of the fire ('B' rank), making it burn stronger and defend better.
  Description: With both hands engulfed in flames, the user slams both palms into the ground from which a ring of flames appear immediately around the user and expands as it sweeps outwards. The Chirashi Honoo proves to an effective technique at crowd control as well as defending against attacks.

  Special: Extends out at the same distance and speed as 'Enkou Shika'. Those caught within the first half of the attack, starting at the user´s extended arms and up to half the attack's potential range, will receive severe burns, teary-eyed vision, trouble breathing, and are knocked back a few feet. Those caught within the other half of the blast will recieve substantial burns, teary-eyed vision, and trouble breathing.
  Description: After forming the hand seals, the user will extend both arms forward with their palms facing outwards- charging those appendages with heat within a few mere seconds. With their target aimed, the user will then release a howling gust of extremely heated air from both their arms, shooting it forwards with such power it issues a low concussion into the air. The wave of heat sweeps over the area the user had pointed their arms towards, lighting all flammable objects (like paper) and reddening the skin of all those caught in its path with burns.

Consumption - Chakra Reduction I

Chakra mastery allows the user excellent control over the chakra they use, how it's molded, and ultimately, how much is used, so much so that they can lower the chakra consumption of all mastery jutsu. When first learned, the user can cast jutsu of the Mastery class for one chakra consumption tier less than normal. Each time re-acquired, cost continues to drop by one less tier each time.
