The user must stay stationary when using this technique, as they cannot move in order to concentrate or the technique will automatically stop. Height of 'throne' is half of the users highest 'Fushokuzai' rank.
Description: Gyokuza no Jigoku is an advanced multi-purpose Lava Release jutsu. After performing the necessary handseals, taking a deep breath and gathering Youton chakra in their gullet the user will simultaneously spew forth lava from their mouth while slamming both hands on the ground below. This causes molten lava to quickly rise as a platform underneath the user in the form of a 'throne' (of sorts) while a dispersing flow of lava forms in a circling radius around it from their mouth. As the 'throne' rises it acts as a defensive maneuver rising high in their air while an offensive flow of lava turbulently forms around corroding everything in its path. This technique offers a great defense from a charging target while also offering a counter-attacking opportunity.

Special: Strength of corrosion, speed and range of the dispersing boulders of molten rock depends on the users highest level of 'Fushokuzai'. Initially four boulders can be produced, with another boulder after every retraining, for a maximum of ten boulders. Boulders are half the size of an average human male. Chakra consumption increases by one tier for every three retrainings.
Description: After forming the necessary handseals the user will place their hand to their mouth and expel a large amount of lava from their mouth, which quickly solidifies into multiple boulders of molten rock. These molten rocks are fired towards the target with tremendous force. Due to their composition after being solidified, the boulders are able to melt through mostly any object with ease. A considerable number can be created and dispersed over a wide range in quick succession. Also, each boulder can be connected with a stream of lava causing a "net" like feature.

Special: The size, range and shape of the defensive wall created depends on the user's highest 'Fushokuzai' rank. Due to the unique 'nature' of the defensive wall this rubber barrier can block attacks of equal or below rank compared to the level of the technique known. This jutsu can also be used to reinforce existing barriers 'stacking' the total defensive ability either for chakra (only Yōton or Doton releases) or non-chakra based defensives such as gates and doors.
Description: Youton: Idai Gomuheki is a unique defensive based Youton jutsu altering Youton chakra's physical form. After performing the necessary handseals the user slams both their hands on the ground creating an enormous torrent of lava from the ground directly in front of them. This then forms into a wall of unique nature possessing immense durability due to its conversion into a rubbery material with a consistency that allows the material to deform when attacked, meaning it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow rather than just simply obstruct it.

Special: Strength of corrosion and speed depends on the user's highest 'Fushokuzai' rank. The user must draw their fist backward in a punching action for the technique to become activated, even after handseals are produced. The dimensions of the dog's head measures 2x2 (meters), growing as the lava surrounds the arm.
Description: Jigoku-Inu Kiba is a close-quarter offensive Youton jutsu. After performing the necessary handseals the user will pull their arm backward making a fist action as their arm becomes engulfed in molten lava. As the hand is turned into magma the user will lash out at the target with a claw-like thrust. As the jutsu makes its way towards the target the end of the jutsu becomes shaped like a dog's-head with its fang's bearing as it is launched towards its intended target. This jutsu is most effective in close-quarters as the speed and accuracy has the capability of completely tearing off the side of a targets face or body due to the shear intensity of the lava.

It shouldnt' be able to reinforce any barriers other than ones within the youton category if you catch my drift.

[2] I'm not sure this technique will 'work' per-say considering that lava, when formed, quickly begins to turn to igneous rock (especially considering you are using it in a 'wall' form). Igneous rock is either hard or soft, and 95% of the time it's soft and will crumble fairly easily. I say place in the description at 's' rank it gains the ability to dissipate / absorb attacks. [/ul]

Given the way you have worded this, I am assuming that this is a complete supplementation of a melee strike; if that is the case, then making the dog grow any wider than 1mx1m is very unfeasible, especially 10m x 10m -- at this point, you're talking about having something over 30 feet wide surrounding your fist and calling it something "best used in close quarters combat".

If you insist on keeping a widening method to it, do it via Ranks, not Retrains, and adjust it to make it more feasible.

I agree with Sohyo on the numbers; 30 is very high and would shove this ability into the spammer niche; 10 as an end point is reasonable, and would encourage more thoughtful usage. I'm not sure about having the strings connecting the rocks—maybe make that a secondary jutsu where another set of handseals can erect a "net" between the boulders, but I'm not comfortable with having you spit boulders that are already connected.

Also, for clarity's sake, you make references to the boulders speed, range and corrosive ability, but not their size themselves.

* Lava Release: Great Rubber Wall: I don't see why this needs to be changed. Firstly, the uniqueness of this technique (so it is differentiated from every other "barrier defense") is that it can be used on existing defenses. Why can't this technique be used to reinforce a village gate or door etc? I don't see why there is a restriction to only the youton category. For the second point, this technique is based off of a canon youton technique; here. There are many things in the narutoverse that "physically" don't make sense in RL.

I would be okay with it working to reinforce a pre-existing barrier such as a Village Gate or something of that nature, but I'm hesitant to see it used in conjunction with other jutsu-based defensive creations outside of Youton and Doton elements.

I didn't say the technique can't reinforce a gate or a non-chakra related item, But that's not how you have it worded and even Brad told you he didn't want this reconstructing other chakra defenses outside of lava or earth because it doesn't fit well with the system. Just fix that description thing I asked for and we can get this moved along.
