this is a combination of the characters 洋 (you), meaning ocean and 香 (ka), meaning smell, perfume. her mother gave her this name not because she had an affinity with the water, but because it symbolized longing.
she is a formal member of the uchiha clan, known for their infamous sharingan. however, her parents renounced their ties upon leaving konohagakure no sato and took up a new surname.
from the japanese 悦 (etsu), meaning joy and 子 (ko), meaning child. this name was chosen by her parents to represent their clan and new life. they hoped that the positive meaning would have an equally positive effect.
the surname of her most beloved husband, asato. although she does not use this personally or on official documents, it is still very close to her heart. she believes it connects them on a physical level.
not inclined to share her true name with strangers, this alias was concocted. it comes from the japanese 雀 (suzume), meaning sparrow, and is a tie to her beloved bird summons.

whether it's because of her combat ability or manipulation skills, it is very hard to take this girl down. her skills allow her to rise far in the ranks and everyone should be wary of her intentions during interaction.
fuuton, control over the wind. this is her primary release and will probably be her only. she plans to master it, becoming more proficient in its control than any other living shinobi.
currently lacking a fighting style because, when compared to ninjutsu, it is her secondary interest. if and when she decides to learn taijutsu it will merely be an elegant compliment.

She has a very simple fashion sense and does not particularly enjoy anything out of the norm. For casual instances, her normal outfit consists mainly of a sundress in whatever color she feels most attracted to at the time. A pair of matching flats goes along with it, providing optimal comfort and mobility. The only jewelry she wears at all times is her wedding ring; even this is merely a band of gold, identical to—if smaller than—her husband's. There may be an occasion where she includes other accessories, but these will be quite rare.
Battles are a different situation all together, of course. In these cases, Youka dons a sand-colored hooded cloak over her dress. It used to blend in quite nicely with the desert, but even now that she's surrounded by forest she refuses to change the color. The flats are swapped out for black knee-high boots, which are inlaid with steel at the toes for a power powerful kick when necessary. This is also the time when she may disguise herself as Fuujin; in that case, a dragon half mask is used to protect her identity.
referred to as the dominator or diabolic alignment. despite being called evil, she shows a combination of desirable and undesirable traits, such as obeying superiors and keeping her word. ultimately, she is loyal only so long as someone is useful and is not adverse to twisting rules to work in her favor.

Just as any human should, Youka has inevitably changed as she has grown older. No longer is she childish and vain. The pressure of heading two villages under dire circumstance has matured her past her age and has given her the ability to think logically and approach situations calmly. It is often said that she is an eloquent speaker, which lends to her negotiation skills even in the face of harsh accusations and death.
Youka is not an unkind person at heart. She has good intentions, but oftentimes pursues them in questionable ways. When she is around people she truly cares for she is often playful, considerate, and constantly smiling; everyone else may only be privy to the cold and calculating mask she puts on. Manipulation is, in her opinion, a necessary evil and therefore a tactic she has mastered to deal with others. Even when angry, a smile can go a long way to convincing the opponent they are safe. In short, Youka is a prime example to enforce the idea that revenge is a dish best served cold.
Where growing flowers—essentially, giving life—used to be one of her primary interests, she now has little issue with death. Should the need arise she will not hesitate to kill an enemy or friend, especially if their death would help her in some manner. This is true on a small-scale only, as she is not quite jaded enough to condone the act of mass-murder or senseless death. Youka has a tendency to do acts even she sees as wrong should Asato convince her that it is the best step to take; this extends to his demon blade Kusanagi, which has grown adept at controlling her mind in the most subtle ways. Because of this, though she comes in a small package she is very much capable of doing great evil.
Shiro is the eldest brother of the three original Etsuko children and was the de facto leader of the clan. He was primed from youth to become the next Kazekage, but disappeared after the battle with Shukaku in Kaze no Kuni.
The village declared him dead and assigned his sister, Youka, to be the Kazekage instead. They had hoped to control her in a way that they could not with Shiro. However, they did not expect her brother's death to take such an emotional toll on her; she became erratic. She fell into a depression that was not lifted until she met Asato and convinced herself that Shiro was alive. Not much later, she abandoned Sunagakure to look for him.
Although his body was never found, her long search led to nothing. As of now, she assumes that he really has died and has given up.
Sora is the middle child of the three original Etsuko children and is the only surviving member of the clan besides Youka. He protected her throughout much of her youth, because she idolized Shiro and he often led her astray. Older now, she recognizes Sora's sacrifice and cares about him very strongly.
When Shiro disappeared, Soratsu and Youka's relationship became very strained. He did not approve of her relationship with Asato and was equally upset that their brother was gone. He abandoned Sunagakure before Youka to look for him, but she followed him soon after. The last time Youka saw him was in the forest of Hi no Kuni, where they briefly fought before parting ways.
After her seven-year hiatus and takeover of Takigakure, Youka made a personal trip to Sunagakure to set up an alliance between the two villages. It was there that the current Kazekage told her Soratsu has been assassinated. She is heartbroken and lonely, considering herself to be the last remaining Etsuko of her generation.
Asato's relationship with Youka was not always rainbows and butterflies. The first time she met him was on a beach in Kaze no Kuni; upon telling him that she was a shinobi, he threatened to kill her. The only thing that saved her life was telling him she was Kazekage, a fact that he promptly exploited. He used her power to essentially control the village, always threatening her with death should she slight him. Having seen his strength that day, she knew he could do it even if she had the entire village protect her.
He wanted full access to the village, so Youka helped him create a false identity as her main ANBU guard, Snake. As they continued to spend time together, however, she started to fall in love with him. One day she felt bold enough to tell him this and he reciprocated the affection. The only stipulation was that she needed to break up with her fiancé, which she did immediately.
Asato left her for a period of time to find the legendary blade Kusanagi, saying that he wanted to have the power to protect her from the evil forces he knew were brewing in the world. Youka was distraught at his absence, and during one of her regular trips into the countryside to wait for him was attacked by a group of shinobi that were sent by The Council. She defeated them but knew she couldn't go back to Sunagakure, so she hit out in the desert. Her nephew Aero was put in charge of the village. However, he made the mistake of interrupting Asato and Youka's reunion, where Asato proposed to her. Wanting her position as Kage back in a way that the Council could not dispute, she had him kill Aero and sever his head.
As Kazekage again, Youka felt overwhelmed by their false life and knew that she could not live without knowing Shiro's fate. Soon after her older brother left to search for him, she and Asato did as well. They spent a good deal of time hunting down clues about her brother, but came up with nothing. Together they decided that they no longer wanted to stay on this continent and left for seven years. During that period they were married and lived happily together in peace.
Something pulled them back to the shinobi nations, though. Youka is as in love with Asato as ever, and now her desire to have a child without worrying about war has pushed her to contemplate genocide.
A mysterious man that appeared in Youka and Asato's hideout cave in Taki no Kuni. After subduing her husband with a strange, powerful technique he beckoned her to him; something told her to listen to his demand. When she was close enough he touched her forehead, forcibly and painfully activating her until then dormant Sharingan. Its activation prompted her to force Asato to fight her until she was on the brink of death. He did this spectacularly, but was angered enough that Kusanagi broke through and nearly killed her for real in the process.
The second time she met with him, whom she now referred to as the Masked Man, it was during Asato and Youka's hunt for Takigakure no Sato. He led them to the village via a smoke signal, which turned out to be a pyre kindled with the bodies of the villagers he had slaughtered. He forced them into the village and had Youka's wounds healed, then led them to the building that would become their palace. It was here that he crowned them King and Queen of the village.
Soon after, Asato told Youka of his previous contact with the man and also enlightened her of his name. He is Uchiha Kouketsu, former Mizukage. Neither of them know that he was the one to start the most recent war, nor do they know what he plans to do with them. Surely all these gifts come with a price.
Growing up, Kojiro was always around Youka because of his strong bond with the two Etsuko brothers. She thought of him much like an adoptive sibling and enjoyed playing with him when they were younger.
It was this bond that made Soratsu declare that she would be betrothed to Kojiro, hoping to initiate the man into the clan officially. Soratsu considered him a strong fighter and a worthy addition; under Shiro's rule, it was tradition to promise the women of the clan to others. This changed Youka's relationship with Koji, and eventually changed her mind about him. She started to see him as sniveling and weak, always asking for permission to do something and never taking her out on dates. She did not see him as her perfect match, a thought that only grew when she became Kazekage and he was forced to serve her.
When Youka fell in love with Asato, he told her to break things off with her fiancé or they could not be together. She promptly left Kojiro, not even explaining why. It felt like a betrayal to Shiro and Soratsu, but her own happiness was important to her.

Sunagakure no Sato.
nestled amongst a deep valley protected by the many elements of nature, the village possesses an advantage in location, as their desert oasis provides hospitality to very few.
Yukigakure no Sato.
due to its harsh conditions, most invaders fail to even conquer its country's borders, much less the village itself. dense snowfall and an overall ivory sea stretches as far as the eye can see, with many of the village's structures influenced somehow by ice.
Konohagakure no Sato.
konoha itself is naturally hidden amongst the plethora of dense, tall, strong trees that provide an eternal leafy-green covering. it is easier to get lost in the forest than to locate it.
Kumogakure no Sato.
kumo is built within a range of endlessly tall mountains, literally hidden in the clouds. as such, it is constantly under threat of a thunderstorm that both abuses the village and gives its occupants natural energy.
Kirigakure no Sato.
kiri is located on an island. this naturally grants the country a great defense against outside threats, to the point they seem impenetrable. the greatest conflict seems to come from within.
Takigakure no Sato.
taki is a village located within the center of the waterfall country, a rather obscure and unknown area as of the second great war. in terms of the village's appearance, takigakure seems to be based on mostly southeast asian aesthetics.
Kyodai Sensu (Giant Folding Fan) Rank: A Type: Main / Specialty Special: Although no handseals are needed to perform techniques with the Kyodai Sensu, the charge time for a jutsu is equal to the time it would take to perform it normally. Description: As its name implies, the Kyodai is a giant fan spanning three feet when fully open. Although appearing cumbersome and unwieldy, Fuuton specialists can use their chakra in conjunction with the swinging of the fan in order to create truly devastating gusts and cyclones. The material this weapon is made of is stronger than average, preventing tears that would otherwise inhibit its channeling abilities; it has been shown to withstand up to the piercing power of a thrown kunai or shuriken.

Kawarimi no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the user will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object - generally a block of wood, but sometimes even another person - the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield. Explosvie tags can be attached to the placement for an added surprise!
Note: Switch is near-instantaneous. The technique can only be used once per turn.

Henge no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. After performing a set of handseals, the user takes on the form of another object, whether it be an animal, plant, or inanime object. This transformation is exactly like the genuine article, so it is impossible to tell the two apart without special methods.
Note: The user can transform themself into an object of average, small, or miniature size. This means that one cannot Henge into a bijuu, summon, or other gigantic object.

Bunshin no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. After performing a set of handseals, the user creates an intangible copy of themself. This clone has no substance, so it is not able to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy. It is mainly used in combination with other ninjutsu. These clones can be easily distinguished by opponents with doujutsu, but even opponents with normals eyes can tell tell it apart from the original if they are observant, as the clone does not have a shadow and will not disrupt the area aroun themself with their movement. As soon as this clone comes in contact with an opponent or gets attacked, it will dispurse.
Note: The clone's movement speed is equal to the user's. Bunshin cannot mold chakra to perform jutsu, nor can they physically harm an opponent.

Kakuremino no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique that allows the user to take a cloak or a piece of cloth and infuse it with their chakra, allowing them to blend into the background. This creates an optical illusion where the user is basically invisible to the naked eye.

Nawanuke no Jutsu is an Academy Ninjutsu technique. Should the user be tied up by normal ropes, they can exert a small amount of chakra to frey their bindings and effectively escape.

Kinobori no Waza is an Academy Ninjtusu technique. By focusing a small amount of chakra to the bottom of their feet, the user can climb a tree (or other vertical wall) without utilizing their hands. This technique has a dual purpose, since it is the perfect way to increase skills with chakra control - if the stream of chakra is too weak, the user will loose their footing; if the stream is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the surface.

Suimen Hokou no Waza is an Academy Ninjutsu technique, and is a variant of Kinobori no Waza. By emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of their feet and using this repllent force, the user is able to walk across the water's surface. This technique is vastly more difficult than its counterpart because the amount of chakra that needs to be focused changes constantly, but it helps to build chakra control in the user. After much practice, it is even possivle to 'skate' across the water's surface instead of just walking or running.
Note: The user must know Kinobori no Waza in order to use this technique.
Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low
Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic ninjutsu technique used across the shinobi world by all, ranging from the most basic shinobi to the legends of lore. Considered is a high-speed movement technique - to an observer caught in the optical illusion, it appears as if the user has teleported. This allows the user to escape or attack suddenly, should they need to. However, while a high-speed movement, if used in broad daylight, one will still be quite visible and as such, easier to be defended against. In order to achieve maximum effect, the user must to combine it with a distraction.
Note: Despite popular belief, this is not an ability that allows an individual to teleport, or even move incomprehensibly fast. It simply combines high mobility with some disruption of visibility to conceal those movements. That in mind, if you can conceal your movement, it is common for this technique to allow very long-distance dashes before enemies may notice you.

Fuubaku Houjin is a Ninjutsu technique used by shinobi in conjunction with common explosive devices such as exploding notes. With this, the user can choose when their explosives detonate, opposed to being at the mercy of a countdown.
Note: This ability allows the user detonate his or her explosive notes, opposed to allowing them to be "timed" explosives. Without this technique, the user cannot automatically detonate their tags.

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 1 Chakra Consumption: Halves the user’s chakra
Kage Bunshin is an advanced, forbidden Ninjutsu technique, which grants the user the ability to create a tangible clone. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. However, Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance, to the point the clone can utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows, and spawns with any equipment the user has one them at the time of the summoning. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.
Note: This technique is only capable of being learned by Jounin or above. Up to a maximum of five clones can be created. Please note that the user’s chakra is divided evenly among however many clones they create. Upon being destroyed, whatever remaining chakra the clone has is given back to the user. Despite having an extended range (virtually limitless), these clones must be created within five meters of the user.
Kage Bunshin Bakuha (Shadow Clone Explosion) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 1 Chakra Consumption: High (Iryou Mastery1 - Mid)
A follow up technique to the regular Kage Bunshin, Bunshin Bakuha is an advanced ninjutsu technique utilized by highly skilled and ranked shinobi in order for them to detonate a regular Shadow Clone at impressive levels. Once a normal Kage Bunshin is created, the user can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion. The entire amount of chakra left within the clone forms the energy behind the blast, and although it lacks fiery properties, the sudden blast and subsequent implosion/explosion phase is enough to blast through rock easily, leaving serious dents in steel/metal creations.
Note: The chakra within the Kage Bunshin is lost. This technique can only detonate one clone at a time (per post).
Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: Low - Massive
A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon a a variety of entities and items meant to assist them in a dire situation. From people to animals, to inanimate objects such as weapons and items, these creations come forth out of thin air near-instantly after the seals are done and into the battlefield. Keep in mind each summoning in question requires a previous contract to be filled out. Finally, signing this contract also allows said summoning to be able to reverse summon the human ninja to their own location.
Note: All summons have their own chakra cost, which the user will need to meet in order to bring them forth. In terms of inanimate objects, the user can summon up to ten secondary weapons for a Low amount of chakra (per summoning); on the other hand, they may summon up to five primary weapons for a Mid amount of chakra (per summoning).
Hien (Flying Swallow) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: High, Mid (upkeep) (Iryou Mastery1 - Mid, Low)
By consciously feeding their chakra into any bladed weapon, the user will manage to extend the length of the weapon by providing an extra extension of visible chakra. This creation will yield an extremely sharp edge that functions like the normal blade itself. By seeing only the user's bladed weaponry, the opponent may miss the Hien and misjudge how far they need to move to avoid an incoming strike. As a result, even if they manage to avoid the metal portion of the blade, the chakra portion may cut into them as well.
Note: The maximum length of these chakra blades is six inches.
Winds of the North & SouthTier 1 Fuuton has been praised as being one of the most versatile and useful out of the five basic elemental affinities. Just as quickly as it can be used for offensive measures, the wind release can then be used as an effective defense, as well. The winds of the north and south are known to be somewhat turbulent due to their mountainous domain, often times making more dangerous paths incapable of being traveled upon, less the adventurer risk being thrown off a cliff.
Master Fuuton users of this level have learned to channel this ferocity into their techniques; the fuuton master can, upon contact, choose to "detonate" their Fuuton creation. The force generated from this "explosion" is capable of completely knocking the wind out of a target (if striking them in the torso), all the while sending them three meters back. This detonation can be applied to all fuuton jutsu without a knock back, and stacks with those that do.
Winds of the East & WestTier 2 Beyond the opposition that winds might pose, their abrupt speed is yet another factor giving this element its strength. Going a step further the the turbulent winds of the Northern and Southern regions, there are those who have learned to harness the swiftness of the Eastern and Western winds. Easily capable of stirring a hurricane, and rather abruptly, this level of Fuuton master allows the user to reduce the handseal count of all Fuuton based ninjutsu by two.
Corner Stones, Master of the Four WindsTier 3 By achieving complete understanding of the four winds and each aspect they bring to the Fuuton element, the user literally harmonizes their chakra reserves with the air around them. In doing this, they are forever incased within a dormant "aura" of wind chakra that extends up to one meter from their body in all directions.
Once every other post (one post cooldown), for one Low increment of chakra, the user can activate this aura to dramatically alter the course of a incoming physical projectile. By using this ability, the Master Fuuton user is all but immune to throw weaponry (no matter how much force is put into it), and incredibly difficult to strike with larger weapons. A sword strike aimed to cleave them in half can be steered completely off course, and with a simplistic pivot, evaded entirely while leaving the aggressor completely open for a counter assault. This aura does not work on chakra-based constructions.
Kaze Bakudan is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After performing two handseals the user creates a highly condensed ball of wind, about the size of a baseball, in the palm of their hand. It can be thrown, and upon contact with a solid object will detonate in a concussive explosion one meter in diameter.
Note: If the user chooses instead to give up Mid x2 worth of chakra, they can create two bombs - one in each hand. The explosion is the most powerful at the site of detonation. This technique was created by Addy.
Kaze Dangan (Wind Bullet) Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 4 (Fuuton Mastery2 - 2) Chakra Consumption: Low
Kaze Dangan is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. The user performs a set of handseals, ending with Tiger, and holds it. A construct of condensed wind, bullet-shaped and -sized, forms at the tip of the fingers. By aiming at the opponent as if using a gun, they can fire this streamlined pellet at high speeds.
Note: The bullet travels in a linear path after being fired. Proper aiming is required, so opponents farther away are less likely to be hit. This technique was created by Addy.

Kamaitachi is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user swings either their arm or a weapon, producing a blast of wind imbued with their chakra. Once an opponent is caught by this wind a tornado will raise them into the air, keeping them imprisoned with its fast gusts. It then begins to cut them with slicing currents.
Tobitatsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element in conjunction with Kyodai Sensu. The user takes advantage of the fan's ability to manipulate wind without handseals, unfolding it to its fullest extent and gripping either side. They then imbibe it with their chakra, allowing them to move currents of air beneath their new "wings," effectively granting them the ability to glide around for as long as their chakra can withstand it.

Kaze no Bakuhatsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element in conjunction with Kyodai Sensu. By focusing their chakra, the user can manifest a rocket- or bomb-like explosive made of condensed air beneath them. Like a plane dropping a missile, they would release it upon their chosen location; upon contact with any solid object it will detonate, releasing an explosion of concussive wind two meters in diameter.
Note: The user must know Tobitatsu and have it activated to use this technique. Once the missile is released, its path to the ground cannot be controlled - it simply falls. Therefore, the time it takes to fall varies based on how far away from the ground the user is. This technique was created by Addy.
Kaiten Shuriken is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After performing the required handseals, the user coats their bladed weapon in wind chakra. Once launched at an opponent the weapon will begin spinning rapidly, making it appear like a disk. So long as the user continues to maintain the coating of chakra they are capable of manipulating the direction in which the disk flies.

Contact with this punch will inflict minor blunt damage at a distance, but a close-range or contact punch has the ability to cause major internal damage in the afflicted area.

This wind is highly compressed and is a solid force, not unlike the leg itself, so it has the potential to do serious damage if it connects.

After this energy has been fully gathered it can be projected at an opponent, moving in a linear path; when it contacts a solid object it will explode in a mass of highly condensed wind, causing great damage.
Note: The user must know Tobitatsu and have it activated to use this technique. The bird aura is as large as the user, with its wingspan the length of the outstretched fan, but size does not equate to power - a small user will do the same damage as a large user. This technique was created by Addy.

Shinkuuha is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes the Wind Element. These arcs are as long as the rotation movement was and are capable of slicing through wood and stone, but not harder materials.
Juha: Shou is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes the Wind Element. The user performs the necessary handseals, focusing chakra into their arm or weapon. By slashing it, a single blade of cutting wind is formed, its length equal to the arc of the actual slash. Like other wind techniques, this blade is capable of cutting through wood, stone, and other such objects; what makes it unique is that the user is capable of controlling its path.
Note: The blade of wind can be destroyed if a stronger Ninjutsu technique is used upon it. Furthermore, the user can only control it so long as they have the chakra to expend upon it. Once they run out, it disappears.

Kaze no Yaiba is a Ninjutus technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After performing a long string of handseals, a near-invisible, pressurized sword of wind forms in the user's dominant hand. It is capable of cutting through almost anything but the strongest metals, because unlike a real sword which faces resistance, the wind blade can slice with little difficulty.
Note: The trained eye will be able to spot the blade because of small fluctuations in the air, so it is not completely invisible. Furthermore, it is not capable of cutting through very strong substances (like titanium or diamond) or relics.

Kakeami is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes the Wind Element. The user performs a set of handseals, focusing chakra into their arm or a weapon. After making a sweeping motion, multiple narrow currents of wind are created, forming what appears to be a three meter square area of net that is flung at an opponent. These winds are razor sharp and are capable of slicing anything that gets trapped in the net, inflicting severe injuries in a criss-cross pattern.
Note: This technique is not meant to actually trap the opponent; the net is easily broken out of through sheer force, although breaking free in this way will cause more bodily damage.

Kazekiri is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After a string of handseals, the user sticks their palm into the sky and focuses their chakra. An extremely sharp disc of wind - whose size varies based on the rank - is created, and can be hurled for a great distance at high speeds. It is capable of cutting down anything in its path.
Note: The High x2 version of this technique is used mostly against humans and is one meter in diameter. The Massive version is geared more toward injuring large summons and is two meters in diameter.

Tatsu no Ooshigoto is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element in conjunction with Kyodai Sensu. The user swings their fan into the air, channeling their chakra into the sky, which becomes dark and stormy. The clouds above will generate a tornado made of slicing wind, which will drop down on top of the opponent. While the storm clouds immediately dissipate after the tornado touches down, the user can continue to manipulate the tornado's movements by swinging the fan. However, it must be continually imbibed with chakra to do so.
Note: The tornado has a delayed activation, taking 1 turn from the time this technique was used to form in the clouds. After it has been created, however, touchdown is rather fast.

Ikarikuruu Tatsumaki is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After a long string of handseals, the user directs their chakra up into the clouds, changing the pressurization of the area and forming an area of organized rotation. A full-sized tornado begins to form in the clouds and quickly descends to the ground, larger at the top and thinnest at the bottom. It rotates extremely fast and is easily capable of ripping buildings off their foundations. Should any person be sucked into the vortex, they will be spun wildly for a time and then thrown to the ground violently from a height capable of killing them upon impact.
Note: The user is incapable of controlling the tornado once it touches down; after that point, it is simply a force of nature. It is possible that even the user can be pulled into the tornado. The tornado will only dissipate after it has run its course (20 turns of posting). This technique was created by Addy.

This is the first variation of a partially developed Sharingan eye. The clan member’s pupil will turn red and develop one of the wheel swirls. The perception of one’s surroundings is slightly enhanced, though the one tomoe Sharingan yields minimal to no real benefit.

This is the second variation of a partially developed Sharingan eye. The clan member’s pupil will turn red and develop two of the wheel swirls. With two tomoe, the user can perform minor jutsu copying, perceive movements with even greater clarity, pierce even stronger Genjutsu, and view formations of chakra.
Note: This variation of the Sharingan is capable of piercing b-rank Genjutsu and below, and is capable of predicting adept taijutsu (b-rank and below), and comprehending movements that are x3 the speed of your average shinobi. A passive ability granted to a wielder of the Sharingan, this grants the user clarity of their target(s)’s chakra nature. The Sharingan user can see the person in question’s chakra is a fiery aura around their body, which seamlessly transitions in color to represent the elements he or she may possess (even advanced releases).
Note: As stated, this is a passive technique granted by having the Second Eye and beyond active. It costs no chakra.
Fully Activated Sharingan: Three Tomoe Rank: A Range: - Type: Supplementary Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: 2x Low (per turn) (Iryou Mastery1 - Low)
This is the final form of the “normal” Sharingan. The clan members pupil will turn red and develop three of the wheel swirls in both eyes. In this form, the clan member can read Genjutsu, Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu, learn how the skill is done and then copy it to be used then or later.
This level of the Sharingan permits a great deal of agility, allowing them to better conserve and direct their attacks based on an impressive level of perception. Three tomoe Sharingan allow seamless copying and interpretation of a wide array of jutsu. At this level, the Sharingan can perform Genjutsu and hypnosis if eye contact is made and the ninja has access to the appropriate Genjutsu training.
Additionally, keep in mind that the Sharingan’s ability to be used effectively is dependent on visibility and sight range.
Note: This variation of the Sharingan is capable of piercing all a-rank Genjutsu and below, and is capable of predicting advanced taijutsu (a-rank and below), and comprehending movements that are x4 the speed of your average shinobi. Shousen Jutsu is one of the most fundamental yet vital Medical Ninjutsu techniques utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands, creating a special chakra designed to speed up the body's natural healing process exponentially. The chakra is represented by a faint glow around each of the user's hands, a perfect circle formed around the appendage, with the glow itself letting off a faint, blue hue.
Note: This technique is capable of healing a small or moderate amount quickly, such as a single injured appendage, (in the time of one post) after damage has been received. However, larger scales of damage require more extensive periods of time (for a maximum of three posts). The level of “damage” sustained should be judged to the best of your capabilities, and if needed, confirmed by a Moderator.
It should also be noted that the healing effect of this technique can only be facilitated through the hands.

A highly precise Medical ninjutsu, the user channels chakra into their hands and then places them both on the patient's solar plexus. The chakra pulses through the body in several waves, taking all important information about the condition of the body and relaying it to the user. In this way a Medical ninja is capable of instantly understanding what is wrong with the body, although not necessarily what is needed to fix the problem.
Chakra no Mesu (Chakra Scalpel) Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: 3 Chakra Consumption: Mid, Low (upkeep) (Iryou Mastery1 - Low, Low)
Chakra no Mesu is a special Ninjutsu technique used by medical ninjas. After forming the needed handseals, the medic will focus chakra to their hands, creating a distinct, colored hue of chakra. When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle. Developed for surgery, it has since taken a unique aspect in battle.
Note: The damage inflicted by this technique is enough to severely injure internal organs and slice muscles for 50% reduction in functionality. Internal bleeding is somewhat steep near the more primary organs, and will result in the death of the victim in ten posts if no treated.

Chakra Exhaustion is a dangerous thing for shinobi to have to face. Medical Ninja developed a way to fix that problem. By touching the center of the patient's chest with both hands, the user is capable of sending chakra directly into the patient's chakra circulatory system, allowing the system to process the chakra and receive it as if the chakra were the person's own. While the user maintains their touch on the patient's body, the amount of chakra per turn varies on the user’s will.

Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu is a skill used by medical ninja to remove harmful poisons from a patient's body. The ninja will infuse their chakra into liquid bubble, which they will insert into the patient transdermally. Targeting the liver and kidneys, the medic can filter the patient’s blood rapidly, filling the bubble with the dangerous toxins which can be discarded once the procedure is complete.
Naite no Jutsu (Dead Hands Technique) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Offensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: 2x Mid, 2x High (optional) (Iryou Mastery1 - Mid, High)
Although most Medical Shinobi utilize this technique for combat, Naite no Jutsu may also be used to help the user combat things like cancerous growths by simply killing the cancerous cells. While active, the user is capable of causing massive cellular destruction of an area of one inch per second per rank of the technique. The chakra is represented by a faint glow around each of the user's hands, a perfect circle formed around the appendage, with the glow itself letting off a faint, black hue.
Note: This technique works in the opposite manner as Shousen no Jutsu. Immediately touching an area can result in “killing” the appendage and thusly making it unable to be used. However, charging this ability (for a maximum of three posts and offering 2x High) can provide the user will a one-hit kill, regardless of where they touch the victim.
Sosei no Jutsu (Resuscitation Technique) Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Handseals: 10 Chakra Consumption: High (Iryou Mastery1 - Mid)
A tricky Medical Ninjutsu that has, nonetheless, saved many lives, Sosei no Jutsu works by channeling chakra directly to the heart of the patient, causing it to beat. This chakra disregards numbing effects, since the chakra causes the heart to beat against its' own will. Aside from that, when a person dies, their brain stays active from one to ten minutes before perishing. If the heart can be restarted, then the patient can be saved. With a two-person medical team, one Ninja may perform this technique while the other focuses upon treating the symptoms of death. If worked correctly, a patient who would otherwise be dead may be saved and, potentially, be brought back to life. If the brain has already ceased activity, then this technique will not work.
Note: This technique must be used within three posts of the user’s heart ceasing to beat.
In’yu Shoumetsu (Yin Healing Wound Destruction) Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defensive Handseals: - Chakra Consumption: Low – Massive
By anticipating damage, the user is capable of filling an area with healing chakra before taking a hit; in other words, they can begin the healing process for a wound before actually receiving it. When the wound finally does occur, the advanced healing process rapidly regenerates the flesh of the wounded area, healing it before the eyes of the user and the opponent; this results in an almost instant-healing of wounds. The larger and more complex the wound is, however, the more chakra is needed to heal it.
Note: The chakra cost is equivalent to the technique being countered. The user must be able to see the attack coming and have enough time to prepare in order for this technique to be effective. Techniques with high-impact capabilities will still cause a severe amount of internal injury.
