Special: Summoning Family. The Crab family are allied with their summoner, and are friends of the toads. They have no specific familial allies outside of the Kawashima family; you either fight with them, or against them. To incur favor with the crab family one must exhibit power, determination, and great ability with water Jutsu. A cunning mind is also a must, as are loyalty and respect. Though they are allied to the Kawashima, they do not defer to them. Each Kawashima must earn the respect of the Crab’s individually
Description: The Kenzoku Kani, or Crab Family, are all crab like in appearance. They have rounded, pear shaped bodies and long, thin (proportional) legs. The body is more or less covered by a chitinous shell, or carapace, with a waxy coating. The reduced abdomen, no longer used in locomotion, is tucked under the body. A crab's segmented body has several pairs of appendages, of which usually five pairs serve as walking legs and two as sensory antennae. The front legs bear pincers (chelae) used in feeding, defense, and display. Crabs often reach a considerable size. They are able to resist changes in the external environment and flourish in rather hostile habitats. Their food habits are varied. Crabs have compound eyes and can see surprisingly well. The senses of smell and taste are also well developed, allowing them to identify food and mates in a world of perpetual darkness and water. The thick crab shell protects all vulnerable areas of the crab. Due to their hard shells, they can withstand 2 attacks of equal rank before obtaining any damage [An "A" rank summon can withstand two "A" rank attacks]. Instead of specific markings or colorings, each crab is distinguishable by its size and smell. No two crabs are the same size, and since the family is so small, size is enough to tell them apart. All crabs are usually of a drab, reddish brown color. Their undersides are paler then their backs, due to under-exposure to the sun. Their claws are massive in proportion to their bodies, roughly the equivalent a man with a gorilla’s arms. They are exceptionally good swimmers, and can even burrow into the earth.

Description: Kanikei is a scarily large summon, in the same mold as her mate. Her shell, like Kaniwakai, is a vibrant bright red. Her underside is totally white, and marred with scars and scratches from battles long past. She has a distinctive feminine look to her, I.e., her shell is thicker in some place than others. Wears a white and black gi.

Special: Boss crab summon. Very powerful. Smarter than his daughter and stronger than his son. Prefers ninjutsu.
Description: Kanibosu shell used to be bright red, but numerous battles have littered his torso with scars and burn marks. His numerous eyes are white like pearls, giving him a very exotic look. Each of his legs are the size of trees, and his claws… unimaginable. Absolutelt massive, Kanibosu's size is on par with the tailed bijuu, making him a towering behemoth of a summon. Wears a black and white gi.

Special: Extremely smart, with great chakra control. Very fast and quick, but not very strong. Can only withstand one B rank jutsu, as opposed to the natural 2.
Description: Kanizurai has brilliant blue orbs for eyes instead of the traditional black ones, offsetting her maroon colored shell. She stands at just over twelve feet tall, and just as wide. Her torso is very streamlined, and her legs are somewhat longer than normal. She looks very delicate, even more than her sister. Her claws are a lighter maroon color than the rest of her body, and her underside is closer to brown than white. Wears a green and white gi.

Description: Rounder in the gut than his brother, but smaller in stature, with similar coloring. His shell is bright blue, however, almost electric, and his beady black eyes sit tall on his head. Wears an all black gi.

Special: He is highly skilled with taijutsu, and iis capable of standing and balancing on one leg, making him extremely dangerous because then he has nine other limbs he can fight with.
Description: Kanisoku is massive, though not quite as large as his parents. Several men can easily lounge on his head, let alone his broad back. He is different from other crabs in that his shell is dark blue. His body is thick and heavyset, and his claws are ridiculously big. Wears an all white gi with bright red lining.
