Hageshii Hiru [Blood Leeches][/u]
Type: Leeches
History: An aged summoning group that is well known among the other creatures of the summons realm, mostly due to their nature of draining the blood of other creatures granting them a fair degree of infamy. The majority of the species is in their infantile stage where they're intellect is limited, thus the entire species is sometimes viewed as dull. Since they rely on other summons for their natural food source they do not predate the others and are seen as relatively 'new', only now emerging to form contracts with shinobi due to the necessity of an additional food source. This comes after the leeches were forced out of the territory of other beasts and confined to their own home swamp, the ensuing battle dealt heavy casualties to the species so that only a few sentient leeches remain. They actively seek summoners due to their blood-necessity and fail to be very picky about who they bond with so long as they can provide them with plentiful blood. This has caused them to emerge to many medical shinobi and particularly blood-thirsty individuals though they are still too fresh to the shinobi world to show up plentifully or to be acknowledged by many shinobi though their summonings are likely to be more aware of the parasitic creatures.
Special: Non-Unique; Summoned by contacting the ground or a water source and generating the summoning seal; When summoned will attack the user if no source of heat and blood is detected beyond themselves.
Rank: D
Types: -
Description: A swarm of small leeches that are generated into a source of water. The number of leeches summoned depends on the volume of water, producing three leeches per gallon up to thirty gallons. The leeches drain from the user's blood to summon, often tiring them if they do not have excess blood to use, but after that they seek any source of constant heat, the hotter the more appealing, and then latch onto it. Since leeches release both an anti-cougulant and a numbing agent, their bites cannot be felt and the damage they inflict can be heavy if prolonged. Even if removed, the wound will still bleed until properly treated. Leeches do not stop drinking until an opponent is drained dry, though that is not to say that the blood loss up to that point is negligible. Lethal blood loss occurs after 15 posts of attachment by a single leech which is reduced by half a post (halves are rounded down to the nearest full post) per additional leech and maxing at 5 posts.

Rank: C
Types: -
Description: An advanced version of the basic Hiru Murugaru summoning that produced black leeches, three per gallon of water up to thirty gallons, that drains chakra as well as blood. The leeches are considered as D Rank for the purpose of their jutsu but otherwise drain away blood the same as any other of their species. Lethal blood loss occurs after 15 posts of attachment by a single leech which is reduced by half a post (halves are rounded down to the nearest full post) per additional leech and maxing at 5 posts. They track by heat but are not fooled by life-like clones, tracking also by blood which a clone does not possess. The leeches are also capable of being used for healing purposes on allies by using basic medical jutsu.
