The opponent was a crafty one. Utilizing his superb talent at fighting, he would dodge to the right of the male zombie. Through the air the paper shurikens would fly, but no single target they would land upon. Instead, they soared past both zombie ally and shinobi opponent and continued until they reached the end of the paper's domain. The creature that sent them flying knew of no calculation to her action -- it acted upon impulse, and right now its impulse was to preserve it's unlife.
Immediately after launching the paper shurikens, the same "ivory" substance that the shinobi opponent had seen would begin to crawl across the skin of the undead woman. The substance would change color as it moved, very quickly masking itself into the same physical appearance as the woman's skin, and thanks to the maneuvering of the opponent, it would be unlikely that such a defense would be visible. In but a mere moment, the woman was covered from head to toe in a perfect sort of armor that, without a doubt, would be capable of stopping almost any sort of force that was thrown against it.
It was around this same moment that the opponent would unleash his assault upon the armored zombie. The blade would pierce the underside of the creature's neck, and with a tremendous slash, the man would sever most of the zombie's spinal cord. The creature would sink to its knees, giving the appearance of defeat. It would not, unfortunately, be enough to completely defeat the creature, but the sword-wielding shinobi would unlikely know that. It was, after all, the sort of blow that would fell a mortal being.
After the man turned and began his assault upon the woman, who would have her back turned, the man's weapon would strike against the paper armor that covered the woman's back. The woman, feeling the strike, would turn and glance towards the man. Extending its hand, it would unleash another barrage of paper shurikens towards him from point blank range -- hopefully, this time the assault would be successful.
The creatures paid no attention to the opponent in the distance.
