A Question Regarding Admin/Mod Permission

Hi there! I've been looking for a polished Naruto site for YEARS. Ever since the closure of MSN Groups, RP has been... slow, at least to my knowledge. I've found a plethora of Naruto sites but they are either inactive or highly unorganized.

I found this site today and released that I already had an account for some reason! I must have looked at it a while ago and dismissed it. After taking a closer look, this is exactly what I've been looking for! An active player-base that's not too big so that every individual roleplayer is significant! I've just got a small question if that's okay with you guys...

Some clans/advanced releases and the sort requires admin/mod permission and I was just wondering... what the appropriate method was? I don't want to start drafting a character and then ask permission, it would be counterproductive if it was denied.

Do we PM the admin/mods or post in a certain board?

Edit: Also, are there any incentives for starting without the benefits of clans/kekkais? If there weren't any, I'd imagine that everyone would want in on the action.

I don't mean to sound strange, but you're the kind of roleplayer I loved. When I joined the site, all the things you were noticing/paying attention for are too what I did as well.

Concerning the things with mod/admin permission, most people just make the character and post it. Usually, mods and admins do approve your stuff! For example, I got the Lava Release for my character. You could PM an admin/moderator, but honestly how well your character is constructed and presented factors highly into whether you may obtain that or not, because it helps the admins check out your abilities. So, it might also be better to just finish your character first!

Now, there are no express benefits of going clan/KT/KG-less, I must admit that. However, the site IS balanced well enough that in PVP, though we're not concentrated on that at all, anyone can face anyone. It's all up to your skill as a writer.

Now, if say you like a more physical fighting character, there is a difference between starting as a Taijutsu Primary or a Ninjutsu Primary. Ninjutsu Primaries naturally have a higher chakra pool, but Taijutsu Primaries have natural advanced speed and strength, equal to the First Gate of Hachimontoku (Eight Gates)!

Yeah, this basically sums it up. But, you can also PM people with the green names an RP examples and have them see if it is good enough for you to gain permission of what you are going for.

Thanks so much guys! I saw your posts earlier, but couldn't reply properly cause my IPOD is a piece of crap .

Pleased to meet you Midnight! It's not strange at all, not in the least bit. I've just been so frustrated with all the sites I've came across. I'm looking to have fun, but at the same time, I want to immerse myself in the Naru-verse. Sites who are too inactive or unorganized tend to break immersion for me, and I find them ... not fun.

You guys have no idea how glad I am to find out that this site has a combat system. Naruto is at it's core, an action oriented anime. Sites with free or vague combat guidelines make it very hard to gauge battles, irregardless of skill or experience. While I value creativity and everyone's capacity for imagination, a character's strengths and experiences should greatly influence a battle. Battles of which contain serious consequences if lost (IE: Permanent death).

Another pet peeve of mine are sites who allow you to start off as any rank, Genin - Jounin. I believe in development of ones character.... you want to be some badass A-Ranked Missing-nin? You gotta work for it!

Oh, and sagas. Site-wide entire village influencing plots.

Heh! Sorry for the block of irrelevant text! ^^; Just wanted to let you guys know a little about what I've always wanted in a site. I hope you can see all my excitement from finally finding something remotely close to what I'd always wanted. It's been years, truly too long for a Naruto nerd to hold in his inner ninja.
