Neutral Good is known as the "Benefactor" alignment. A Neutral Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would.[/ul]
--Psyche--
One might expect a girl who abandoned her village to have evil deeds in mind, possibly even a craving for power and dominance. That may have been true for a large chunk of the populous, but not for Li Ayano. Her escape from Konohagakure no Sato was an attempt to win her own freedom, as the life of a shinobi did not suit the girl who could only be happy whilst painting. With a change of name came a change of her overall demeanor: the once selfish, egotistical and rude girl developed into a person of extreme calmness. She still preferred to be alone if it could be helped, but at the same time did not snub attempts at friendship from other people. Although most of her time is consumed with her art, "Kaori" would not hesitate to help out a person in need, regardless if a rule or two needed to be broken to do so.
Overall, Kaori has become a better person. She disdains fighting, but is intelligent enough to realize that offensive and defensive jutsu still must be trained if one wants to survive. Fleeing from danger is often her first decision; distracting the enemy until a getaway route is established will be the second. She is hardly ever seen without a smile on her face even when something is troubling her, even though it is quite obvious these smiles are not entirely honest. The only time she is truly at peace is when her brush is stroking across a scroll or canvas. Likewise, the only time Kaori can be seen frustrated or angry is when someone interrupts her without due cause.
Conscience is far more important to her than regulations and mandates. There does not have to be a rule that says "Do not kill your fellow man," or "Do not lie and cheat." These slights would ultimately eat away at her, a quick mind over-thinking every action until she realizes what could have been done to change the outcome. Not that it matters, of course. She is haunted by every mistake made, a bit of a perfectionist in personality and art. She doesn't claim to be without fault; in fact, she has the tendency to point them out to others before she can disappoint them.

Changing a name might start you out on the path to a new life, but it can only be completed when the appearance is different as well. Previously, Kaori kept her honey blonde locks cropped at the shoulders, a nondescript style fitting of a kunoichi. She has let it grow out naturally, leaving her with thick, long locks that fall messily down to her mid-back. Her hair is now dyed a muted pink, made more brilliant than the shade should be thanks to the lack of color in her skin. Her eyes are the same as ever: almond-shaped and colored, expressive of her emotions even when she tries to hide them.
One thing remains the same about her outfits from day to day, and that is the abundance of clips that can be found in her hair. They are a fashion statement rather than an attempt to control the locks, much like the large cross-shaped one at her temple. A pair of headphones are always slung either around her neck or ears, a wire curling off into the depths of her chosen outfit; it's hard to say if it is attached to any music playing device. Clothing is a much different story and hard to explain, since Kaori rarely wears the same thing twice. Suffice to say she prefers simple garments ... in as many bright colors as there are clouds in the sky.

A chain whip consists of several metal rods, which are joined end-to-end by rings to form a flexible chain.
