There are a few techniques within the styles that overlap one another in purpose, so I'm posting this to suggest that we remove some of the Inuzuka customs in favor of their Kakuto Banjin counterparts.
These techniques are as follows:
- Banjin Soshaku (Savage Bite)
Rank: C
Type: Offensive.
Range: 0 - 5 meters
Consumption: Mid
Special: Each time retrained, the user can hold their jaw firmly locked against a target for an additional turn, for up to five turns max. This technique can be fatal if used on a victim's throat, crushing their wind-pipe and strangulating them.
Description: Banjin Soshaku is one of the more beastly attacks within Inuzuka. Through rigorous jaw-locking exercises, the user is capable of biting and tearing a tangible object, such as skin, with ease. While using the Four-Legged Technique, the user can manipulate their body by utilizing chakra, allowing the jaw to become fixed and resolute, dealing 'C' ranked damage to the object. Any being caught within the jaws of a user utilizing this technique will experience intense pain as the fangs of the user digs into their body, drawing blood as a result.
Domain: Inuzuka.- Garou (Hungry Wolf)
Rank: A
Type: Passive.
Range: See Special.
Chakra: High.
Special: Allows the user to rip and tear at an opponent with their teeth.
Description: For those willing to completely embrace their ferocity, Garou allows them to tear at their opponents weaker areas with enough force to maim or kill. Upon landing their fangs on their body, the user is able to go wild and tear at them as they please, their ferocious maw able to rip large chunks of flesh out at a time, even to the extent where they can completely tear their throat out.
Domain: Savage Strike Arts. For this one, I suggest the Inuzuka tech be revamped to supplement the Kakuto Banjin technique, while still remaining an Inuzuka tech. That is, the "C-Rank" damage gets removed and it merely extends the amount of time one can remain latched onto their opponent. Essentially Pitbull no Jutsu.- Satsugai Renda (Eviscerating Barrage)
Rank: C
Type: Offensive / Secret Technique
Range: Self
Consumption: Mid
Special: User can strike twice per second, once with each claw. Each time retrained, the amount of times the user can strike is increased by two for another second, up to twelve strikes total. Each single strike does a 'D' Rank amount of damage, however, this damage does not stack against defenses.
Description: One of the more basic Inuzuka attacks, Satsugai Renda is known as characteristically straight forward, relying entirely on a quick and dirty bombardment of light strikes. Speed is the emphasis of this technique, which is themed with overwhelming an opponent with multiple weak strikes, leaving the victim vulnerable to a more powerful and definitive attack. As such, it is often used as a set-up ability.
Domain: Inuzuka.- Hageshii Mujina (Violent Badger)
Rank: D
Type: Offensive.
Range: Arms reach.
Chakra: Low.
Special: A rabid slash with the users fingers/claw that is able to cut and tear at their target's clothing and/or flesh. Each retrain allows the user 1 extra slash for a maximum of 5 consecutive slashes. Regardless of retrains, each slash performed costs one Low worth of chakra and the effects of Banteki Konpaku only alter one strike (no matter how many are used at once).
Description: Taking the principals of an enraged badger, the user will prime their arms and begin slashing at their target, allowing them to either retreat from their victim whilst whipping them away, move around their body to get to their back, or just tear through them like paper as they advance forward.
Domain: Savage Strike ArtsDiscard Satsugai Rendan.
There are also techniques within Inuzuka that conflict with one another and those are:
- Inumanako no Jutsu (Dog Vision Technique)
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary.
Range: 0 - 50 meters.
Handseals: 4.
Chakra: High to cast, low to sustain.
Special: Due to the metamorphosis of the eyes, the user also gains the disadvantages of obtaining dog vision, meaning their visual acuity will be lowered to a mere ten meters, plus ten meters each time retrained, for a max of 50 meters. Anything beyond the range of this technique will appear extremely blurred, almost indiscernible at all.
Description: Inumanako no Jutsu was created with a specific purpose, requiring the forced use of chakra, unlike the basic, passive techniques of the clan. Without the need of handseals, the user simply charges chakra within their eyes, their pupils enlarging, glowing radiantly from the light captured in the eyes, which grants them enhanced vision during darkness. This technique is completely useless in a lighted setting, but when troubled with a location that is basked in low light, the user is able to use this technique to receive flawless, unscathed vision.
Domain: Inuzuka.- Hanshoku Tapetum (Multiply Tapetum)
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary.
Range: --
Handseals: 5.
Chakra: Low to cast and sustain.
Special: Grants the user canine level night-vision. Bright light will blind the user while this is active.
Description: Tapetum are microscopic rods located within the eye that absorb light. Canines have far more of these rods in their eyes than humans, allowing them see in even the darkest of environments. By focusing chakra to their eyes, the user can temporarily multiply the amount of tapetum rods in their eyes, granting them enhanced vision in low-light conditions.
Domain: Inuzuka.Discard Inumanako.
Just some suggestions on my end. Let me know howm you feel, or if you even care at all, lol. I know Inuzuka isn't the most sought out clan on the forum but it still needs some tidying.
