Eulisses' old bones began to creek as he continued on his path out of the village hidden in the mist. For reasons he couldn't seem to explain to himself he needed to see the fire country at least once more in his life. The old man always remembered the beauty of the lush forests and bright sun, but it had been over twenty years since he had last visited. After seventy-one years of life the old man still found himself searching for answers to unlock his sharingan. He couldn't understand why he continued to search for answers. Eulisses' couldn't help himself from his search for knowledge; He was an old man! What could he possibly learn from that place? However, it didn't matter to him. It was settled then, the old Uchiha was going to head off to the forest filled fire country.
Ol' Upir continued to walk for a couple more miles. He could feel a storm coming in his bones, but this did not stop him from seeking a ship to sail to the fire country. Wooden sandals clacked against the wooden docks, and he stopped to look around. A few boats could be seen, but one seemed to be a ferry. Three clicks could be heard after two steps when he would walk. One for each foot tapping the ground, and the third from his large walking staff. Finally, he had made his way onto the ferry. It was strange that no one had attempted to charge him for passage, but he would not look a gift horse in the mouth. Perhaps half an hour passed and the ferry set sail for the fire country.
As the ferry moved into the sea a storm began to shower the waters with fierce rain. The large boat bounced on the wake the storm created. The waves crashed at the sides of the boat, but the trip continued as planned. A few people began to get seasick along the way, but after an hour at sea the storm passed. The sky cleared and a double rainbow could be seen. Eulisses admired it for but a moment, and then was interrupted by a man screaming about how beautiful it was. "it's just a damned rainbow..." the old man thought to himself.
Eulisses awoke to the whistle of the ferry. It had docked at a new land. The old man awoke from what felt like the worst sleep he had ever had, and walked off of the ferry. Instantly he could tell where he was. Trees surrounded the docks. This was the fire country.
