The Old House

The land foiled in thousands upon thousands of trees but yet, this single small house in the midst of the group stood out. It was dusty, and broken in with age. It lacked any form of life, yet at the same time, was so full, and so perfectly sought after by a single young woman. It was large, nearly forty or so feet upwards, and a easy twenty meters wide. It was more of a mansion then anything, but had seen much better days, based on the condition of it. The walls made from firm but now rotted, Bamboo, and Oak. The floors made of fine silk, and willow but now battered, and ripped apart by age, and by battle. The grounds were now littered with cracked, and shattered stone, and various types of metals that once formed large pillars.


In the middle of the stone grounds, sat a young girl next to a large pillar of stone, it dwarfing her size as she was near a even six feet in length. Just in front of her, and in her hands was a simple scroll. The back covered in dozens of golden dragons, and multiple animals carvings. Anyone with so much as a small amount of sensory skill could determine it had a faint signal of Chakra emitting from it, and in her other hand a small paint brush. Strangely she seemed happy like that, her clothing, and appearance made her seem rich because of her easy to notice pampering, but in truth. Her pale skin, and fine hair were all genetic, and set in by her history. Despite her unusual clothing, of a warm blue, and golden printed Kimono. She seemed common.

As she moved her hand softly against the scroll, the brush embraced it with a ink trail, each swift movement graceful in action as she perfectly drew dozens of clouds onto the painting from the memory, of looking up once.

Description: A strange method of manipulating the artistic styles of the Li Clan, the user will first paint a raincloud and then, by performing the correct handseals, will have the cloud rise out of the canvas and up into the air, fifty meters above the user. The raincloud will spread out and then begin raining ink upon everyone below it. The raincloud, as it is made out of ink, will be a solid black in color. At the end of the ink rain the cloud will dissipate, revealing the weather conditions exactly as they were. If the cloud was painted with any special Li ink, the falling rain from the ink cloud maintains those same properties.

Foxtrots of calm, untailored pacing guided the Uchiha through the depths of the Hi no kuni forest terrain. Mostly feral with little to no cultivation from modern society, navigating such a land was next to impossible for the average human or common foreigner. Nonetheless, the scarlet-haired was quite familiar with the forest topography that encompassed his indigenous Village. The air that beckoned above, fulfilling its inherent obligation of supplementing the sustainable life and agriculture with oxygen was omnipresent. A quick inhale could give even the most cleansed sensation of life purpose for there was nothing like the air that loomed above the Country of fire.

Ryūsuke was content with being home and after such an extensive break, ushered in another mission upon his appeal. Subsequent his first endeavor upon searching the countryside for intruders, the Uchiha found this particular mission most befitting for his advent. It gave him little to no restrictions and enough time to reflect on potentially becoming the next leader of Konoha. With elections in progress, and the villagers scurrying to the ballots to submit their votes, it was needless to say, a pester being home. Many crowded the streets, and the Uchiha constituency itself would have found little rest; this was even more concrete with the recognition that one of their own could possibly be leading.

As such, and with a casual trot, the scarlet-haired Shinobi motioned through the woodlands. His trusty Flack Jacket guarding his torso vigilantly while his armguards severed impending terror to his forearms and the bulk of his hand. The grand silver from his Hita-ate which was so generously wrapped around his forehead shimmered in the light until an abrupt absence of luminosity occurred and before him rested what appeared to be tattered remains of some ceremonial manor? Curiosity ate away at his mentality and as such, he ventured inward ignorant to what was possibly ahead. After several moments, the faces of stone pillars were palpable, but as well directly in front of them, the back of a woman? Her posture was rather superior, and while her actions escaped him due to her turned back, the Uchiha couldn’t help but beckon forth from a mere ten meter gap.

"Did you need anything?" she asked the young man without so much as turning back, to face him, or even look at him. She wasn't trying to be stubborn or snobbish, but she was busy, and completely taken by the beauty of the land. Each passing moment, her hand gracefully peeled against the paper, repeatedly changing the location of the brush, in felt, and rapid strokes. It was obvious she was in fact drawing something, but what could it have been? As she finally finished the moving of her hands, she placed her brush down against the scroll, before turning her attention to the man. As she did so, she placed it out against the ground, and right next to a vial of black fluid. Which to most would be called Ink.

As she moved her body, she pushed herself off the ground, and turned her body to face the young man. Being at nearly six feet, she was taller then most people, but really did not notice it that often. As she turned to face him, her pale skin would shimmer slightly to the sun, and her hair flowing softly in front of her face. She was in fact a deep pale, with matching hair, and her eyes seemed like emeralds in the light. It was obvious to any half-witted idiot, that she wasn't much for physical labor, or really anything honestly.

"Sorry, forgive me. Hello, and you are?" she turned her head slightly, before speaking in a strong royal tone, something that a proud Leader of a Country would speak in. It was not because of a held title, but mainly because she was raised to speak in such a fashion. Proper, manner, and the like were the basics of her upbringing. Once her eyes met with his, her hands would have begun to move in only seconds. Various symbols forced out of her hands, as she crossed over her fingers, and twisted them over each other. At least four or five times before anything happened, in result. The scroll she had just placed down, formed, and twisted into a hastened action. The moment it stopped fluttering around, the small black cloud began to form from the middle of it, the very drawing she had done but moments ago, lifted into the air, and began to raise slowly before it expanded, and hastened in moving. Once it reached the range of fifty meters, it twisted, and moved about before spraying out a soft spray of ink, and quickly it turned into a fast-paced rain of Ink.

Now I was walking through a heavily wooded area with not a care in the world were it would lead me to. Until i came across what looked like a basic walking path. Now i had some sense of were i was going as long as i was following this path. While i walked i had more time to my self to cloud watch and what not. Now i felt like i was one of the clouds floating in the air with no attachments to anyone or anything.

As i was watching this particular cloud i started to see what it looked like a black cloud over one area. "Welp that looks like a point of interest to me." I spoke softly to myself as I increased my speed a little. The closer i got to the dark cloud it looked like it was raining, but this was not normal rain it was more like black rain. The only thing i could think of was this had to be the work of some kind of jutsu. When i was about 30 meters off i could see a building and two people standing outside of it in the black rain. I thought to my self welp i guess its time to make my self known.

So i walked calmly towards the duo in plain site knowing that they would notice me. When i got about 10 meters close i thought it made be the perfect time to speak. "Hello there." I said to the duo as the stood there looking at some time of paper.

There he stood, facing the back of the woman as she rested—analyzing the bearing in which she occupied at the moment. It was difficult to tell her intentions from such a detrimental vantage point, nonetheless he was well aware of his predicament. His mission entailed one simple objective; search the countryside for intruders. Such a broad objective itself enlisted many, and left little to disregard. Anyone could be a possible suspect unless he himself directly knew the opposing figure. While sincerity and conversational attributes were required for a more garrulous personality, the Uchiha didn’t have the luxury to allow his mouth to guide him on such a day.

She stood, and he captured such an action as she turned to face him. Her facial features became evident while her attire posed much intrigue. Pale skin and hair as incandescent as the snow itself—an oddity considering where the two were. She approached, and his senses maximized proficiency as he looked on with almond orb. It was only then that he felt threatened when she immediately became stringing together a series of hand seals. His mind immediately registered her as a target and as such with a quick leap, distancing himself a meter to his foyer, the Uchiha drew a kunai from his leg hoister and it held it in a rather protective manner.

“Sto—“ His statement halted as dense black fell from the sky, the heavens showered the area in shadows as the Uchiha peered upwards. “Ink?” His right hand danced outwards while his left grasped the weapon, and soon his palm was flooded with the waves that drifted down. However as he did so, something eccentric worried the Shinobi—it didn’t stain? Before he could inquire, the sounds of feet padding to his rear signaled the entrance of another and with a quick turn of his head, allowing his attention to escape the woman and focus on the dark-haired prowler for the time being.

“Hrrm?”

As the new figure entered, and the old one jumped back into a defensive stance. She began to giggle to herself, enough to force her fingertips against the warmly painted purple coloring of her lips. It was amusing for a while, but as the ink poured down among the group. Her body started to shade, and her hair shifted to a softer black. Each moment passing, it seemed to blend, and faze into her body. "I do apologize for that, didn't want to damage my skin you know. Oh, and do not worry. It will not stain, it might discolor it for a while, but not keep it like that." she spoke warmly, and in regal tongue.

In only moments, she moved her hands from the edge of her lips, and began to push them against her cheeks. Her head tilting slightly to the right, and her eyes opening back to full view as the warm opal, and emerald shaded figures of light reached out towards the new, and the older person that had made themselves known to the area. "May, I ask you if you do not mind. Why are you here?" she asked strongly, and in brisk voice. It could be obvious, that she was highly curious about this manner, and wanted to know why, and who they really were.

In truth, she had a strong distaste for aggression, or those that openly called themselves killers, or Shinobi. It was a bit of disrespect, to the true meaning of the word.

Now all eyes were on me as i often like it to be. I was standing about 10 meters away from the duo watching them as the black rain fell from the sky. I picked my hands up and crossed them so they could see i was not holding any weapons. I did not want them to suspect anything of me so this seemed like the perfect thing to do. "Well i just happen to cross your path im looking for something that is pretty dear to me at the moment."

Now i was sizing both the boy and the girl that stood before me. The girl looked like she was ready to fight. I was prepared to fight if i had to im not worried about that. "So i see you two are leaf ninja's so im guessing you know your way back to the village aye?" i said with a hint of confidence in my voice as I dropped my hands down to my waist and put them in pockets. Now i had my eyes focused on them waiting to see what they do and say. All I want out of this is entry into the village that i think my family was from.

This was quite disconcerting—the thought of having a potential enemy to his rear and frontal prospect. Not knowing either of the two entities beyond what they displayed till this point, it was quite natural to feel a impression of agitation and seek comforting elsewhere. Naturally content with conversational individuals and more mellow air, the Uchiha didn’t bother instigating violence, but rather avoid it. A hear forged from the sensitive of a woman and developed by the strength of a male figure to guide, the scarlet-haired was a perfect stability in terms of interacting with others. He could sympathize when needed, and react on instinct and with treacherous intent if pushed to that border.

A kunai was an instrument meant to serve its wielder, and as such the fragment of forged steel rested in a right-handed clasp, close to the male’s chest while the point extended out to the right of his frame. He was prepared to defend himself, however in hindsight; Ryūsuke had little time to concern himself with altercation. His mission objective was rather undemanding; survey, and report back to his Village with information on the intruder’s appearance and location. His inauguration was impending, and while he scurried to complete a final task before ascending to the pinnacle of a Shinobi’s reverie- and leading his village as Hokage.

“I’m Uchiha Ryūsuke… State your name please.” He beckoned worth with a mature, though rich tone as he peered out towards the dark-haired intruder. Orbs of sharp purple piercing the bearings of the man as he extended his arms outward to reveal nothing occupying his palms. So he came unequipped; a relief in itself. From this point, all the Shinobi could do was wait a response be it bodily or orally. From there he would act accordingly and inaugurate whatever method of execution would fit the situation at the time. While the silver-haired celebrant stood in his foyer, her surfacing went regarded—she wouldn’t emerge as a shadow in this encounter.

In a connective pose, her head tilted even more then it had done so previously, she was more or less intrigued about what the new comer wanted, or even what the old one wanted. Then she heard his name, and addressed him as more of a threat then normal. "I am..Fujiko, if you were wondering." her voice sung like the echo of a Geisha Girl, finely tuned in silk, and command. She was here for no real reason, she wanted a moment of freedom, and wanted to it to be under the deep blue sky. It was rare, that she found herself wanting to enjoy the life outside, as she thought of it as nothing more then a chance to damage her overly delicate skin. The Ink Rain technique helped greatly, as it blocked out the sun, and covered the clouds in blackening view.

As she watched the two young men, stand there, and speak. She tugged her hands back into her clothing, and rested her hands against the base of her waist. Her hands moving slowly back to meet with a large scroll on her back, it was just encase of a attack, or if they decided to rid of her for some unknown reason. If it came to that, she could draw, and use it in only a moments notice. Something useful about her, but that was far from her deadliest techniques. She was a medic in all nature, and attuned to the bodies weakest locations. Be it for healing, or even killing. It was nothing more then a day at work for her, and a day of work it will be.

For some reason when the boy said his name my blood started to boil a bit. My hands started to clinch while they were inside my pockets. Merdorus thought started to flow throw my hand now i was trying with ally my might to deny these feelings. All of my blood started to rush my head im pretty sure the boy and the girl noticed i was turning red. But i muster up enough will to answer the boy's question. "My name.......is.........Styx UCHIHA" Im sure he could hear the anger behind my last comment.

I was starting to lose control over my actions as my hand slowy eased out of my pockets and landed clinched my blades hilt. All of my thoughts were focused on the boy no worry's about the girl it was as if she didn't even exists any more. My whole persona started to change for some reason as i let out a monsterous evil laugh. "YOU KNOW WERE DA LEAF IS BOY? I WANT TO GO THERE I GOT SOME BUSINESS THERE." I spoke very loudly to the boy with my eyes locked on with an evil grin on my face.

Styx... What an unusual name. Ryūsuke’s head tilted slightly as he looked on with submissive eyes, analyzing a distant relative at such close range. Though his name was something of an oddity, the surname in which he so proudly emphasized on went regarded as a smile crept along the corners of the scarlet-hair’s face. So finally he had come to encounter one of his own, and strangely enough, in a location that was literally miles away from their naissance base of operations; Konohagakure no sato. Though it wasn’t unheard of for descendents of the prime Uchiha to live elsewhere other then the Hidden Leaf, it was more bizarre to experience such an assembly in person.

However, the boy’s next action would provoke nothing more than sheer prudence as he called out aggressively demanding a location in which he belonged not in. A hand reaching to the hilt of his weapon would be matched precisely with one to his side as Ryūsuke immediately drew from his hoister a single Kunai. Now both hands occupied a dagger-esque weapon, and the Uchiha was armed and prepared to fight if need be. Regardless, the woman who now revealed her name to be Fujiko dwelled in his bind spot. This had become a rather disturbing quandary and truly tested the boy’s persistence and patience as he looked on.

“Styx…. I don’t believe I can tell you where my village is. You’d have to earn it.” An open-ended response left only to the opposing Uchiha to interpret as he wanted. Though ambiguous and obviously resembling a challenge of sort, Ryūsuke wouldn’t be opposed to such an action as he was well primed to defend himself. The distance that separated the two was a minimal ocean of air that was daunted by the falling ink that seemingly blotched out the sun itself. Whatever Fujiko had planned, hopefully it wouldn’t infringe the Konoha Native in any viable manner. However she wasn’t rooted out as an ally just yet.

Was obviously being ignored at this point in time, growing into a bit more of a boredom ridden state of emotion. She let out a soft-pitched yawning sound, and turned her attention away from the two in front of her. In moments, she began to walk away once more, and aimed to go, and sit down at the pillar as she had done just moments before. As she began to move towards the pillar, the rain began to bellow out, and slow down in pace. It was starting to end, for it had been a while since it had begun, the black ink rain, now pouring out into a softer, and more basic shade then before, and then before long it would just stop, and the sun would raise high into the air once more. The weather fully changing back to its original design, and the clouds now showing once more through the dark, and deepening view of the black cloud.

At this point, it had begun to fade easily, and shimmer away into nothing more then a dramatic false, and once royal hesitance. As she produced her first foot step towards the pillar, it was soon followed up with several more in matched speed, and sound. Echoing softly against the stone, as she continued the trip back to both her resting spot, and the original status of her drawing gear. Once she returned to her original location, she pushed her back against the stone wall, and once more lowered herself to sit down on the hard, and cold stone flooring of the large, and increasingly amazed building, and palace like court-yard structure. That she found to be so appealing to her sense of sight.

The boy had started to speak but it was like my ears were tunning it out. Only thing i heard is "My village" from the boys mouth. The boy started to get into his battle stance as i clinched my hand on my Katana's hilt. It felt like the blood was boiling inside of my body. My hands started to move on there own once again as the girl walked away from us nonchalantly. I did not really care what she did cause was useless in my eyes. "YOUR VILLAGE!" then i started to laugh in a boast full manor "I guess we can take it there buddy!"

Now my hands were at about my chest as i watched the boy take hold of his blade. Then I started to run of to the left of wear i was standing while preforming a set of hand seals. Once i finished my set of hand seals a large portion of earth would come shooting out the ground standing about 10ft high. There out of the ground would form two large rock creations ready to do my bidding.

Because of it's make up the Golem can take a heft amount of damage, one A rank strike would be required to destroy the Golem in one, then two B ranks and three C ranks.

Before the Uchiha could even scurry off to the side, a subtle vanishing ensued as the scarlet-haired tentatively fled to the scene. His mission details took precedence at this point and while it was almost damaging to his moral compass, returning to his village to convey the information on this foreign intruder’s foyer was rather important. However the woman could handle her own, but for now a strong series of three Shunshin guided the Shinobi out of harm’s way as he rushed back to his village with the intent to return once his goal was complete. In truth, he wanted to fight—to defend, but that was an ignorant man’s objective when tasked with an assignment.
