My father always wanted a son, but it seemed destiny wasn't so readily accepting request on the day I was born. My mother conceived me within the land of Hot water, but my upbringing was done in a small village named Ayenoshi. My family had moved there when I was born, for reasons I still as of yet do not know. My father, Takano Washiba was apart of Ayenoshi's only defense-the Falcon core. Which consisted of six elite archers who guarded our home. Since I could string my first bow I had always dreamed of being by my fathers side, but he wasn't as keen to teach me the ways of Hosatsu. He said I was too much like my mother, but being denied and thrown into a style of life I didn't want was something I was not so readily to resign myself to.
Vision flickering, I found the world about me slowly taking form and shape. Groggy, I turned my head looking around, it had slipped my mind that I'd fallen asleep at this very spot searching for shelter. I had been a long time since my thoughts had lingered around the past. My bow was tightly held within my grasp, my back placed firmly against the basin of the towering apple tree. I was on my way to Ayenoshi , I had some business to handle there and also I needed to restock on arrows, my quiver was running low from catching game.Taking a moment I checked my belongings before I stood to my feet, dusting the back of my white pants off. With a yawn escaping my slender lips, I reached for an arrow knocking it, as I aligned my shot for an apple that hung haplessly upon its stem.
Drawing back on the string, I let my two fingers loose, allowing the arrow to sing upwards, striking the center of the apple. Holding my hand out I caught it. Smiling, I took the arrow out and placed it back within my quiver before I used the sleeve of my shirt to polish the fruit. Grabbing my bag I took a bite of the apple, my teeth crunching into its juicy center as I went on my way. The sun was just coming out and the morning early. As I walked for some reason memories of my past were pushed to the forefronts of my mind, and before long I found myself diving into those memories as I trotted through the muscial forest.
