Awayaka, a pretty name, she commented in her head as the orange haired returned the favor of returning her simple introduction with one equally as simple. Her smile was still intact, never losing it's shine as her mind was starting to work again. She looked like an interesting character; this Awayaka girl standing front of her. She noticed that she hadn't given her a last name too. She guessed that was only natural as she hadn't given out her own either. It seemed like their relationship would take awhile to yield to a friend level. But like she said, they had only just met two minutes ago. She took the offer of calling her Awa, it sounded cool to her ears.

"Nice to meet you, Awa-san!" She could have easily used a different honorific but they weren't that close yet for her to do so. She would settle for -san at least for the moment. Was that a flicker in Awayaka's smile or was she seeing things? A second after the smile was returned on her face. She must have seen wrong. Sayuri could see that she was weighing the options of their next course of action in her mind. She could almost be certain that she was not going to leave a sailboat with a complete stranger who she'd only met a couple of minutes. Sayuri was the only trusting of his skill because he'd earned it through their travels together.

Meanwhile, Ren finally noticed that he hadn't made a formal introduction himself. Rubbing the back of his head with his arm. "Sorry 'bout that miss. The name's Ren. I'm a boatman from the rice fields." Rice fields? Again she learned something new about him. She had not quite asked him before though ever since she had been a passenger at least three times before. But she had been too focused on herself to have much conversation with him. Sayuri heard the answer to his question from Awayaka and then her suggestion. She certainly had no complaints with any of the options.

She noticed with slight amusement that Ren wasn't too pleased with the suggestion but since he saw that she had made no move to say otherwise, he hid his displeaure. She gave him an incredulous look and smiled a little. He looked like such a child sometimes. No one would trust a stranger with their sailboat. And the sailboat was hers after all! Awayaka certainly had the authority to make the choice that she was most comfortable with. "I'm down with any kind of suggestion~ So, we'll meet at the last island, ne?" She gave her a more kinder smile this time. She tugged on the arm of Ren, motioning him north from where they were standing to the next island.

He was still a little disappointed as they parted with the girl. She tried to cheer him up since she knew that he probably felt very uneasy without a craft to steer. As a boatman he had lived on water and couldn't probably live without being on water for a day. The boat he had was nowhere to be found now and she felt bad for him. She would have to find a way for him to have a boat back; even if it cost everything she had. The two of them left the isolated and walked slowly towards the next line of a chain of four islands, wondering how long it would take them just walking.

To my pleasure, the woman agreed to my proposal to wait at the last island. I had sailed on, and having come to the last island, I found myself with just a few moments of time to kill. Beaching myself once more, I would look out and around me, taking in the scenic beauty of tropical island, warm sand, high-hanging sun, and crystal blue water. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I found myself relaxed and content without ever even meaning for it to be so.

It wasn't until some time had passed that I would realize that I had been staring aimlessly for a bit, so I snapped out of it and decided to stretch. It could only be a few more moments before the others arrived, and then we could continue our adventure into the realms of Tetsu no Kuni.

The sailboat had gone much faster on the waters than that of human legs can carry. She could see Awayaka sailing on ahead of them. It was great to be on the waters and it must be nice to have a boat to oneself. She was kind of jealous now. Eyeing Ren for a moment she knew that she wasn't the only one. He glared as the boat passed them and headed towards the last island. It's speed was noted as it sailed on ahead. The way the craft glided on the water made it seem as though the distance between the islands were not far from each other. Sayuri would walk a little in front of Ren, eager to get out of the islands and onto Tetsu no Kuni. There wasn't anything wrong with the islands at all but it lacked anything to do. She hated boring places. There were only trees and such.

And the two would make their way rather smoothly from one island to another. There was really only level ground to walk on, with the occasional small stone that stuck out in the middle of nowhere. But all in all the feat wasn't that hard to accomplish. The only thing about walking by foot was that it was time consuming. She hadn't realized how far the first island was from the last one until she set out on foot to try for herself. The sun wasn't beating down on them with heat and the weather was not humid. At least the weather was being nice to them. Having rested for most of the night before, the two of them were full of energy. And they would continue their walk, over one island at a time until they finally reached the last one. The whole trip would take about a grand total of twenty minutes which was a combination of fast walking and nice weather.

There was really not much difference between one island to the next, she reflected as she looked back. There was a sandy terrain for each of them, an abundance of forest trees and--sadly, nothing else. They were as barren as islands should be and that was not a bad thing. No one should inhabit these islands in the first place and so it was not expected to have houses or any grand things. But she noted with amusement that they seemed to be molded out of the same kind of structure. She wondered if the number of trees and such were the same for each of them. If that was true, it would be kind of scary. The duo team jumped onto the last island and walked effortlessly past the sand and towards the shores. They would see that Awayaka would have already arrived obviously. The greatness of sailboats.

The thing about Tetsu no Kuni was the mysteriousness. She had never heard of the place and it was really like an adventure. Technically she hadn't even heard of the five great shinobi villages but that was due to memory loss. Nobody had told her that there was a country called Tetsu. The fact that there was intrigued her. She would turn to Ren and ask him if he'd ever heard of the place before. Well of course he had, she would remark in her head. Or else he wouldn't have known that they were so close to the country. She was rather fascinated at what sort of adventures would greet them. As they reached Awayaki's sailboat, she would smile at her companion. Even though she was sure that Ren would much prefer to ride his own boat, since it was nowhere to be found, he would have to ride someone else's.

"Shall we get going then?" she would ask her two companions. As she was waiting for an answer, she would suddenly think of a question to Ren. "What about you, Ren? Don't you still have to go to other places? Now that your boat has been destroyed, what will you use?" She hated to have to bring up such a subject at this time but it wasn't going to go away if left unattended. He couldn't possibly leave Tetsu no Kuni. She was still thinking of a way to solve the problem when he flashed her a huge smile. "I got a friend who's at Tetsu no Kuni who has a boat he doesn't use anymore. I can buy it off him." His answer seemed genuine, putting her mind at east finally. She then motioned for Ren to get on Awayaka's sailboat and then they would be off-to the land known as Tetsu no Kuni!

The road to Tetsu no Kuni, although a short distance, still proved to be much longer even with the help of the sailboat. She and Ren would ascend on Awayaka's boat and would begin to make their way to the mysterious country. She was secretly quite excited for what the new country would have to bring though also mindful that she would have to be careful on not stepping any tails of people like she had done in Hi no Kuni. Because she had chosen to do that, she had indirectly got herself chased off the land. She was certain that by now she was already on Hi no Kuni's blacklist, though she didn't quite mind so much. There was really nothing to mind. She had initiated a fight with one of their village's shinobi only to prove that her strength was not yet up to par to defeat the person. A Hyuuga had managed to draw a tie with her and seal her chakra. 

She was definitely going to go back there and make sure that she reclaimed her victory. Not only did it taste bitter that she had lost to someone from a different village, but she had indirectly disgraced her clan and her village while she did so. But from that time till now, which was barely a few days she had become much stronger. It was a revenge that she needed to take. Nobody was going to get out of winning against her. But that would have to have to wait until she finally got out of Tetsu no Kuni. She was hoping to get even stronger before then. It would make the victory she anticipated much much sweeter. An insane woman indeed. 

Ren told her that Testu no Kuni was extremely cold and always snowed. Immediately she was thinking of Yuki no Kuni. She wondered what differences were between the two countries if at all. Though she was still trying to grasp her scattered memories she had already regained much of it and the most that she remembered from the village and the country was that it was cold and snowed every other day. She nodded her head and her heart skipped a beat. It had been a little over a year since she had seen snow or felt the chill of falling temperatures. She kind of missed it. Ironically that was not what she had felt when she was a shinobi of the Yukigakure.

In about half an hour of sailing, the boat would sail to within meters of the large country. To Sayuri, the land seemed to be even larger than Hi no Kuni, which surprised her. She had thought that as a country of the five great shinobi villages, it was supposedly the largest. But now she was wrong. Ren mentioned that this country was very secretive and not a lot of people knew of it's location and it's existence. The only reason why he had known was because he had been asked by one of his passengers to take her there. He remembered the first time he had found this country. 

As the boat would near the shores of what would be Tetsu, she saw that it was really what Ren had said. The ground was covered with inches of snow, giving it a white beautiful landscape. She smiled as they approached. Even when they were still in the waters they could already feel the bone chilling temperatures of the country before them. It may be cold, to the point of being freezing, to most people but she was actually enjoying it. Perhaps she had become used to such coldness that it was refreshing. She awaited with a notion of anxiousness to explore the grounds.

Well, I had traveled back to the mainland, and my traveling partner seemed to have gone. It had been quite a while where I had just lazed about, but perhaps... perhaps it was time to get out and about into the world once more.
