Entry # 1: Ambition
He had done so much in the last week that his mind seemingly held a scattered temperament. Nothing appeared solid and unmoving—life around him was continually in motion and without a break system, would ultimately run him into a coma. recreation, something to call towards taking some R&R was in order. Eyes feeling heavier than normal, and an overly worked body that absorbed such experience that they couldn’t process it without a respectable rest period. There wasn’t much to say, nor was there beating around the situation. The Uchiha wanted—no, he needed a break. There was no middle ground.
Falling back into the comfort of his own bed, Ryūsuke released a well needed yawn as his frame softened into the mattress. Peering towards the ceiling, the genin then averted his attention towards the desk across the room, admiring the glimmer of his Hitai-Ate shimmering in the moon’s light. Dinner was well prepared tonight, and for the first time in some years, discussion at the table didn’t include talks and slurs of the Shinobi way of life. His father actually looked at him with a glare of significance and respect. His mother complimenting the situation with one of her lovely, forthcoming smiles. Things were good.
Smiling in the seclusion of his room, Ryūsuke eventually dozed off, his eyes lids lowering as the mass of exhaustion motioned. A good night’s sleep did wonders.
The subtle chirping of birds instituted the start of a new day, and after assembling his gear, preparing a good breakfast then promptly leaving afterwards, the Genin was off. Ordered by his mother to go into the forest outside the village and search for edible fruits and vegetables, the Uchiha’s day would most likely consist of scavenger work, Regardless, anything his mother asked seemed more like an honor, the chore, and as he accepted, the Shinobi after a proper scanning at the gate, fled into the forest.
After a swift fifteen minutes passed, and time succumbed to duration of his travel, the Uchiha stopped and leaned against a tree. Whipping the surface of his forehead, cleaning the perspiration from his face, Ryūsuke peered into the heaven’s with content. The Sun shimmered brightly, and everything seemed almost too perfect.
