He was pumped, very pumped actually. After a long day of resting, he had another mission coming up. But, this one was worth attending. He was going to be able to show off his fighting abilities, in front of a whole audience. The only condition was that he used the craftsmen's sword, and won the fight. Those are some easy stipulations, I mean - when does Asato lose fights? Walking out of his house, his face lit up with excitement. He couldn't wait, arriving at the big arena where this was happening he went into the main room to greet his craftsman.

"Yo~" He alerted him with his presence "look, give me my weapon, and I'll happily be on my way to get you that win." Short and sweet, and with a smile on his face too. "I like you kid, better back that talk up though!" He joked around, taking out a hand wrapped sword. Unwrapping it, he handed it to Asato. "I just finished this last night, it's unbreakable. Trust me." He encouraged him, clenching the katana tightly in his palm, it felt good. "Let's get this show on the road."

Sheathing the sword and placing it on his hip, he walked out. Amazed by how many people were present at the event, he just waved to everyone. Legit, his body was being ran by adrenaline at this point. He was just so anxious to do this, ugh finally a fun mission. Standing there, he awaited the announcer to call out his opposition. Who could it be? He pondered.

A friendly spar between two contestants to see whom's weaponry and creation was the best. Entry # 1: Steel

Ryūsuke had once again accepted another task. However this time, it came in the form of accompanying his fellow squad member, Asato. A well known Craftsman and Blacksmith of the Hidden leaf seemingly found himself in a competitive quarrel with an intruding business. Intentions distorted and honor set on the preverbal table, Mr. Haitaki had enlisted the aid of his inhabitant Shinobi force to aid in his victory against the froth as he called them. Befitting that the dispute would be settled with bladed weapons. Acting as a Bystander and spectator, the Uchiha was only meant to aid through eyes.

Moving through the city, Ryūsuke found absurdity in the crowd that gathered outside the Smith’s stores. A massive swarm of individuals from all around the village waiting to see the dual at hand. So Haitaki had promoted the fight well enough to conjure such a crowd. “Excuse me... Pardon me.” He noted, easing his way the mass and soon found himself slam dad in the middle of the battlefield. A semi circle formulating to allow each participant enough room to consistently move and compete with keen strength and skill, Ryūsuke took a seat, stepping towards Haitaki’s entrance and smiling as he saw Asato in the center of the open space.

“Take him down, Asato. You know we gotta keep our record clean.” He exclaimed with a thumbs up as he referred to their mission standings, which currently place them at one-hundred percent completion. His total stacked at four, and while not knowing the exact number for his friend’s, this would hopefully make it five for himself.

"Tch !!"

“Yōōōō’s in the house!” A loud, obnoxious voice now lingered in the air as the crowd outwardly split into two. In the distance, approaching from the back of a mass, the challenger made his appearance.

Nagasaki Yō—the contender who played for the honor of the Dōgeki Blacksmith shop made his appearance, and with a swagger unparalleled. Dark, messy hair falling over his face, clouding the casualness in his eyes, while promoting the longevity in his voice. Grbed in a sleeveless shirt, with some dark grey shorts and sandals, the conceited boy held high on his shoulder, the well-crafted Katana made exclusively for this battle.

“Asato-cub! You my opponent hoe!” He exclaimed vociferously with a smug grin, subsequent an unbearable laughter as he seemingly found humor in his opponent. This wasn’t going to end well, and Ryūsuke hoped Yō enjoyed the hospital.

Yō? What the fuck? Was this who he was up against? His grammar was terrible, and all Asato did was stand there in disbelief scratching the back of his head. This was going to be amazing, man - he's going to make the other contender look like complete shit! "You're my opponent?" He spat on the ground, cracking his fingers, this was his swag. Asato was a boss, a fuckin' boss! But, he wasn't dumb enough to underestimate the kid, he was just having fun. Sky blue optics focused on the young boy, never leaving his silhouette. He couldn't risk him getting a cheap shot and taking the victory.

A breeze of wind randomly came into the warm arena, ruffling up his hair. Sticking his tongue out to disrespect him, he also motioned his hand to signify the boy to go first. Grasping his Katana from the hilt, he'd now just wait it out. Loosening his body up, he was ready to bite, just like a vicious snake. He was fast enough to instantly shoot out with his blade, and deal some damage. Looking at Ryusuke, he waved to him with his free hand, whilst returning his vision onto the boy named Yō.

Entry # 0: Taking Flight

Who the fuck this Nigg—Ninja think he was? Steppin’ on Dōgeki soil, or at least prospecting Dōgeki soil and hold a blade to the illustrious, infamous, GOD DAMN TOO SEXY FOR A SHIRT Yō?! Had to be the medication, it just had to be. No one was stupid enough to challenge him in absolute, pure blooded kenjutsu without some kind of tomfoolery. He wasn’t sub-par in many areas, hygiene being one. Nonetheless, what he did excel in was close quarters combat and bladed weaponry demonstrations. That was the sole reason why he was chosen for this little dispute.

He spat on the ground? OL’ BOY RELEASED HIS SALIVA ON THE GROUND!? What insolence—it was so omnipresent now, his detest for the Genin that Yō’s eyes seemingly lit up with rage at the sight of such malicious performance. If your mother taught you anything in life, respect for another man’s space should have been it. Damn, even the village scum understood such a principle. Just shows how linent the Shinobi ranks had gotten over the years if they permitted someone like that rice-haired, ol chicken grease ass Shinobi to sport a Hitai-Ate.

He shrugged. “Aye. Asato-cub. Why some lazy ass fool like you wanna do this anyways?” He inquired, referring to him as a ‘Cub’ once more, signifying some gap in stature, implicating by the charcoal haired boy. As his opposition slid into a stance, preferably one that held defensive proportions, Yō chuckled. So he would take the bait. That wouldn’t be the problem. Physically stronger and larger then Asato- standing Six two and weighting a solid One-hundred and eighty-five. He could easily outmatch the younger and small dickhead.

Rushing off after taking into an offensive stance, Yō quickly gripping the blade (single-grasp; right hand) and swung down upon his opponent vertically. Enough force to shatter a defense without momentum, he aimed to end this in a single blow.

Meanwhile, Ryūsuke looked on from afar, seemingly amused by the trash talking that was taking place. That was Asato for you, though rough around the edges and seemingly rude he was a master tactician; be it direct or circuitously as he stirred up some hateful emotions in the opposition. Good job.

That was Asato for you, always getting the opposition mad with a few words. That's what he did, because when you fight off rage, you really don't think about anything - just trying to land a blow. That didn't work most of the time, you needed skill to win in a fight, not just blindly running rampart towards someone. But wait?! He asked why he was fighting? Pfft, he wasn't obliged to answer such a question from someone like him. Man, people like Yō thought they were tough shit, but nope. That's not how it worked, Asato just stood there, and smiled happily as his opposition took the bait.

But damn, was this guy big. Almost five inches taller then Asato, at least that's what it seemed like to him from the ten meter distance between the two. Noticing the slightest bit of motion, Asato was on guard now. Watching carefully as the other idiot rushed in, timing the defensive action perfectly. He let him get in his guard, and as he swung the sword - he immediately side-stepped to his left. Instantly thrusting the katana into the boy, just a simple thrusting action - attempting to cut into the shinobi's left tricep, hopefully disabling his free arm from battle.

Entry # 3: You ain't shit

"Get at me."

Oh, so he thought he was tough shit?

Too good to answer a simple ass question? To amazing to give a response when spoken to? Damn did boys act like mice nowadays, always being quiet when someone bigger than them spoke up like a true man. Asato had a mouth piece on him, but was noticeably put to silence when Yō stepped onto the scene. It was typical; nonetheless he was use to such a rejoinder from his prey. They didn’t have to talk, his mouth was large enough to fill any monotonous conversation with shits and giggles.

“I’mma bust yo ass mr. Post man!” He shouted out loud as the sharpened end of his Katana moved down in a straight line. So swift, yet equally dangerous for the sheer force behind the swing could cleave a man in two. A body built more for brute force then stealthier assessments, Yō- aka big daddy took pride in his physique, as he didn’t work hard for it, shit just came natural for him—like sunshine. Yeah, like sunshine and all its light magnificence and that good shit.

Wait, he missed?! Looked down he realized Asato as averted to his right and immediately followed up with a sweept. “Tch” stepping back, pivoting on his left foot, the swoon warrior successfully escaped the range of his opponent as the tip of Asato’s blade barely nicked the top of his nose. That was a close one, and now a ninja had to pay for such insolence. He was going to get his sooner or later anyways with that snobbish and imperialist attitude he had.

Immediately reversing the grip on his blade while he evaded, allowing the sharpened end to face upwards, Yō grinned as his blade would now fly up, attempting to cut into Asato, pelvis up. “YA BITCH YAAAAA!” Shouted almost primitively, the boy had lost all senses of conscious validation for the strike would severely injure, if not killed if the attack landed.

Ryūsuke sighed, shaking his head unacceptably, noting a number of key disadvantages in Yō’s stance as well as attack choice. Nonetheless, this wasn’t his battle to fight; Asato was on his own, and expectantly was capable enough to hold the fort down.

"Fuck." He released a sigh, but he continued moving. This was a battle, not stand still and let me paint a picture of you! So while the boy backed up, and attempted to launch a strike sweeping upwards. Asato simply sidestepped to the left once more, but - because of the close distance it managed to give him a shallow cut in the arm that was currently holding the sword. Confident in this counteract, he acted quickly and sent a bone rattling punch with his left free hand into the rib section of the boy; as Asato was now on his side. If connected, the boy would feel a sharp pain, and maybe be left open to pursuit.

That maybe wouldn't stop Asato from following up with a quick strike with his sword to the right thigh, once landed (attempted) the boy shouldn't be able to walk, run, do whatever as well as he could before. Plus, he'd be in some pain. "Give up?" He teased, testing the boy's honor. But, never losing his focus, he couldn't just leave himself open like that. As the battle heated up, the crowd was screaming. Some people chanting Asato's name, whilst the others chanted Yō's. It wasn't fair though, he was the 'hometown' hero for them.

The craftsmen were both biting their nails, nervous as to who shall prevail in the battle of swords! Either Asato, or Yō, the stakes were high, and deep down he knew he wasn't going to lose this fight. He didn't want anything staining that perfect mission record.

Entry # 4: Umad?

"Hoe"

The battle was heating up, and in one of those chief cookin’ a good steak kind of way to. Yō was bodily the stronger male between the two, and while his ant opposition was smaller, and most likely more nimble, in close quarters combat, speed wasn’t an alternative. He had to back him into a corner, and then strike with unremitting force, send a message to the bum ass niggas who owned the opposing Blacksmith shop to never fuck with his sponsor again! Yeah, he’d do just that, prove he was the best by---

No this grease head, chicken beatin’, woman abusin’ ass ninja did not do what he just thought he did. His lower torso stinging in pain, Yō looked down, his face holding a vintage WTF!? Facial expression as he admired, or more so gawked infuriatingly at the hand of his limp opponent digging into his ribcage. So he wanted to play rough huh? Did he think some weak chicken shit like that would stop his autocracy on the battlefield? Nah boy, you were wrong!? This was some real Konoha street style shit! Ninjas got punched all the time, and with a strong upper body, he played that punch off easily.

The next strike however, wouldn’t be something he could just squash away with nerves of still as the second interaction with blood ensued. His left thigh, now grazed deeply by Asato’s blade, Yō’s eyes widened as he looked on with sheer incredulity. “YOU DUMBASSSS!” He called out, immediately forcing his free hand forward the moment the blade cut his leg, ignoring the bulk of the pain for the moment as adrenaline elevated. Attempting to grasp the armed hand’s wrist. He would chuckle if this action was successful.

“Gotcha dumbass..” He murmured, and with his katana, he would swing down, attempting to drop the curve of his blade onto the Genin’s shoulder, cleaving him into two if the attack connected. Things just got real, and while no one understood the danger Asato was in right now due to the competitive rivalry it was based around, one person did—Uchiha Ryūsuke.

The strike from the sword connected, and blood was now coming from the wound. But, it didn't look like it stopped the brute from commencing the attack. Adrenaline was a amazing thing, it gave people the will power to fight through pain, and win; sadly not in this case. As he let his wrist get grabbed, yes Asato let his wrist get grabbed, he smirked. Wasting no time, he swiftly raised his knee shooting up attempting to nail the boy in his testes. Asato fought dirty, especially in a street fight, he was bound to use it in a sticky situation as this.

The distance was between the two was about one foot, there was literally no room to dodge the strike. The knee would come faster then the sword, and once the knee connected the sword should have dropped from his opponents hand. If all went well, Yō would be on the ground, on his knees. Whilst Asato executed the final blow with a swift flick of his now free wrist, attempting to cut of the boy's head. "Game over?" He wondered.

Entry # 5: Dirty ass

"Really son?"

Adrenaline was a commanding tool. Even more when placed into the hands of a monster. The orientation and similarity in its powerful augment was akin to giving a slaughterer a shotgun in a knife fight, yes it was that dangerously intense. Blood pumping at obscene levels, forcing all mechanical functions to operate at peak proficiency, Yō was aiming to kill. He could kill it—the blood of his opponent touching his lips as his blade cut down underneath his neck, and into his shoulder. Then his collar bone, then his ribcage, ultimately slicing the heart and whatever other important organ resided in the chest.

Yeah, a thought process ad dark and tormented as his own deserved its own insane asylum. Devoid of anyone else and only permitting his own individual entry. A child so besmirched through the struggles of the streets, it was now evident why the opposition wanted Yō to compete. He aimed to make a point, and a point ensured with the trickle of blood. Though normally not as intense as he was now, something about Asato, and that smug ass grin of his set him off. Like a bomb being precipitately detonated. Yeah, shit got real.

But, his victory would have to be postponed for later as a searing knee tapped the base of his nuts, and without further infringement, drove its hard point into his pelvis. “OHHH SHITTTT!’ He called out, immediately dropping the blade in his hand, and falling over onto the ground, crouched into a fetal position as he rocked aimlessly back and forth. His manhood shattered and the fight seemingly over at this point; the crowd raged on excitedly, naming Asato as the victor. Nonetheless, it seemed he wasn’t done.

Attempting to bring his blade down, Ryūsuke caught on, and without indecision, vanished. Before Asato could make contact, his blade was deflected by an oddly curved weapon. Its wielder, the Uchiha himself as he held his Hook Blade over in a protective manner. “You won. The fight is over.” The scarlet haired Shinobi commanded, stepping away from Yō with a disenchanted facial expression, as if ashamed his partner would go as far as to aim for his head.

Yes, the adrenaline pumping throughout his body as the knee connected. The feeling was so great, as the man collapsed onto the ground the crowd started to cheer his name. This was it, no matter how brutal it may have seemed - he was going to end his life. I mean, Yō did have a couple fatal blows aimed at the young Genin, paybacks a bitch! The katana was swung, but only to be abruptly stopped by an unknown force. Noticing the hook blade, he could tell it was his friend Ryusuke. Man, he would do something like that. But he was right, the fight was over, that was that.

Sheathing his blade, he walked away from the man. "Sorry bro, I got overwhelmed by all this." He apologized for what he tried to do, and continued walking to the winning side; his side! His face lit up with happiness, he engaged the craftsman. "I won, so I keep the sword, right?" He queried. I mean, he won, so he gets a sword, and the ryo for completing the mission. Another sword to add to his arsenal, as well as more money for future things he would need to buy. Life was swell.

Entry # 6: Take a leave

“Don’t apologize to me. I’m not the one you tried to kill.” Ryūsuke exclaimed with a bothered tone as he motioned towards Mr. Hitaki’s blacksmith stockpile and soon leaned up against the wall. Though in the near future he could forgive his friend, right now just wasn’t the moment. This little quarrel wasn’t suppose to go as far as if did. Fortunately for the abhorrent dark haired Genin, the Uchiha was there to mildly calm his anger. The Hokage would have truly been disgruntled if one of his own citizens was killed by a native of the village.

“To make us even. You go to the Hokage’s Mansion and report the mission a success. Please note I aided as well, would ya?” Ryūsuke exclaimed as he soon pushed off the wall, and made his way back towards the Uchiha Compound. There was something he had been dying to do, but the mission itself took a rather discontented turning point and his immediate attention was required to administer. Until their next mission was assigned, he was free and as such would use such leisure time to complete whatever he had on his mind.

Meanwhile, someone had finally aided Yō getting up. From there he was immediately rushed to the Konohagakure Hospital for scrupulous medical care. His wounds were modest, but if not tended to shortly after infliction, the possibility of disease or rotting was surely to come. The crow had calmed as the match was over, and as Asato made his way towards the shop, and made his query about the blade, Mr.Hitaki smiled grandly.

“The blade is yours. Thank you and your friend for doing me such a favor.” He said with a humble smile. He was too old to carry out the task himself, nonetheless, it warmed his heart knowing that Konoha had a bright future in their inspirational Genin. The Hidden Leaf would be prosperous, that was certainly a fact if the youth retained the same level of diligence as the two he had just met.

Bowing towards the craftsman, he thanked him for the opportunity to represent him and he was on his way. Him and Ryusuke went two different ways, who knew where that one was going. But, it didn't matter to him, at the moment he was focused on getting back to the Hokage Tower. Sheathing the katana, he placed it on his hip. "Heh, you'll love your sister, she's a Chokuto." He joked around, exiting the arena. He did a job well done, besides almost executing a fellow Konoha citizen. That was his bad.
