Description: A man has requested that he be escorted in his artistic endeavors. He plans to venture into Hi no Kuni, within the forest, to find beautiful spots in which to paint, where he will bring his surroundings to life on paper. Since the country can be dangerous, and wild animals may be about, he is willing to pay for the services of the shinobi.
Objectives: Stay with the artist and protect him until he is finished painting.
Rewards: 50 EXP / 1,000 Ryo

Everything around Tetsuya bustled with life and activity, pushing his level of perception far beyond what a mere human could even dream of. Tetsuya was a brisk and alert man indeed, always having made sure he minded everything that existed from the mere movements from a blade of grass and the brief flickering of a person’s eyelid well before it could blink. His twin brother Koga, however, is quite the opposite, but wasn’t it to be expected given that Koga was little more than Tetsuya’s inverse and vice versa. Koga was a man who thrived on being crude and vulgar to others, especially women, but it seemed that Tetsuya was the only person he showed respect to, but why? Perhaps it was the deep connection between them.

Tetsuya’s senses were sharp, honed to a state of absolute refinement; such senses came to fruition from the shameful failure the two twins faced at last years Chuunin exams. Death greeted him by the hands of an Uchiha, the most hyped and overpopulated clan existing not only within Konohagakure's walls, but within the country's respective village's as well. Curse the sharingan. Since that time both Tetsuya and Koga ruminated heavily upon their strength and weakness', working on them day in and day out, molding and carving themselves into the perfect Ebony and Ivory team.

And so they proved the level of perfection and hard work that the two pour incessantly into the fountain of shinobi life as they took a more 'difficult mission' in comparison to other missions that genin are eligible for. It was a simple job to say the least, escort a artistic man who wished to travel out into Hi no kuni to find a area in which he could immerse himself within his talents.

This mission is gonna be a piece of fucking cake mang!

Yeah I know, all we have to do is escort this painter around Hi no kuni so he can find a area to paint something, sounds rather simple but I think boredom might get to us first if he's indecisive.

"If so I'm totally gonna fuck that Jigga-Jack up!"

With Tetsuya having been one to perform myriad amounts of solo work, his Soushi blood line ceaselessly demonstrated its usefullness as it allow both Tetsuya and Koga to discourse and converse should either of them feel alone or bored. It was a fun little innate ability, to silently speak to ones own sibling without even using the physical mouth as a medium to spill words of any kind upon them.

"Oh man look at this fat chick at 10 o'clock, looks like there could be a village hidden in her thighs!"

Their conversations seemed to never meet their end for Koga refuses to stop as he goes on ranting and uproariously insulting the citizens of Konohagakure when Tetsuya strolls around as the base body of the two. Though Tetsuya never completely approved of his brothers cruelty and vulgar humor, he didn't mind it at all, especially in rough times like these where crime and the deprivation of life was at an all time high. Sometimes laughter can be the best healer, or so Tetsuya thought. Konoha thrummed with civilian activity as business's and homes all seemed active more then usual, perhaps someone was having sales or prices have dropped, whatever it was the Ebony and Ivory duo wished it wouldn't end.

Before heading to the gates to meet with the painter he stopped by a local general store and paid for a freshly grown apple. Paying 50 ryo he rubbed the apple against the forefronts of his hoodie as he continued his stride towards the gates.

The genin showed a healthy desire to speed this escapade up as his pace festinated, uprooting particles of dust beneath his quick footfalls. Quickening his pace he bit into his apple, showering his gustatory organ with its nutritious juices. The sound of the apples flesh being ripped asunder crawled loudly along the invisible torrents of air as he was all but a few meters away from Konoha gates.

With several steps and minutes of travel, Tetsuya finished his apple, sparing it of one last bite before he threw it away for the birds to feast upon its remains. It was one of many small ways he gave back to nature, feeding its inhabitants. Upon reaching the gates his gaze uplifted towards the guards within the watch towers, alighting themselves with the guards own.

"Tetsuya and Koga Kyuuten reporting for duty, I'm sure you're aware of the painter outside the gates, I am the one who will be escorting him."

The guards confirmed his request and duty and soon opened the village gates, allowing Tetsuya and his dormant twin to pass through the gates. His eyes quickly fleeted, taking in the lay of the land and all that laid within it. His client, the painter, was some meters away, but nonetheless he strolled towards him and introduced themselves, but it'd be somewhat confusing to the man, well, only if he lacked knowledge of shinobi bloodlines.

"Tetsuya Kyuuten, I'll bee your escort today."

The painter met with his client on the outskirts of the village, directly at the gate, under the watchful eye of the Chuunin of the village. He was a frail young man. More so that he could have easily been mistaken for a woman from a distant eye. His long black hair covered one half of his face, while the other revealed a golden hue. His lips were rather pursed and juicy, as opposed to the normal rugged and manly lips given to those born under Mars.

His gaze met with Tetsuya's. He clutched a sketch pad tightly to his chest. Both his arms folded over it. Suspenders held his pants up and over a white dress shirt. His request for shinobi protection was indeed a wise decision. He probably couldn't have survived a day outside the village gates.

"Are you the shinobi I requested?," he spoke up with a soft, unsure voice. "My name is...," his introduction was broken off by a soft pause. His eyes gazed down upon a slithering creature, toppling over his feet. "EEEEK!" he yelled loudly as his surprise caused him to fall to his back side. Dust fluttered up from his rambunctious flop. The snake would find itself moving elsewhere. It deemed the man's feet unsuitable for it's travel.

Slowly making his way back to his feet he dusted himself off. "I...I'm so sorry," he spoke up as if the words had come out of his mouth before. It was trained conversation. One he was naturally accustom to. "Shall we be off now? I don't really know the area outside of the village. I'm sure we can find something beautiful out there. Hopefully..." His voice fell frail once again. His voice rose highly, almost making a high pitched squeak as he was about to speak. "I do apologize. I haven't given you my name. I'm Souta. Ikari, Souta."

As if to be like a magician, Tetsuya whipped a lolipop from out of his pocket and placed it into his mouth, having his tongue greedily lick away at its flesh, starving it of its sugars. A single eyebrow heavily furrowed in curiosity as he watched this slim painter clutch his pad to his chest with all the strength he could. "Dude this fag just totally clutched his shit cuz we black bro. And whats with his outfit, so weird mang. Tetsuya's eyes hid themselves behind closed lids as a humerous smirk peaked itself at the corners of his mouth once Koga refused to cease his bombastic declamation. Tetsuya had to admit, Koga, though absurdly rude and cruel, he could make Tetsuya smile and laugh at whim.

The painter inquired whether or not Tetsuya had been the shinobi he requested, a stupid question to say the least, for if he had not been said shinobi his time would have been spent upon some other matter. Even so this mission would push him further towards the exam's requirements; so in the end he could not complain. Without warn the painter squalled like a little girl within a horror move, this heavily vexed not only Koga's mind but Tetsuya's as well. They brothers found it near unfathomable as to how a man could be born with such a womanly voice, perhaps he was late on puberty, who knows.

"Shall we be off now? I don't really know the area outside of the village. I'm sure we can find something beautiful out there. Hopefully..."

"Sure, I think I know just the place. Its roughly a straight shot just north of here, we should reach it in no time if we walk quickly, and don't stray to far away from me as we walk."

And so his Pocketed stride continued as he loudly tossed the lolipop around in his mouth, savoring each taste as much as he could. In moments-if the painter had truly followed- the two-well three- faded away into the horizon like a cowboy would in a western movie.

The duo, er, trio, would find their travel to be that of an uncomfortable one. The heat outside of the village was something fierce. Completely unlike the lovely weather of Konoha, the forests outside the village demanded the lovely breeze and would steal it from them, leaving them only the hot beating sun. The grass grew even more thick than before, now rising up to their ankles now. As they grew closer to their destination it would be upon their knees.

An hour's worth of travel eventually sent them toward a large fork in the road. The path to their right looked like it would expand for miles. Even the eyes of a Hyuuga couldn't see how far the vast grassland would travel. However to their left a small path was shown, which lead into an extremely thick forest it looked like. An odd site to see such a thin forest. However it lead to a lovely waterfall created from the damage the Kyuubi left behind from the war. The world tried to make itself beautiful once more. However it's beauty wouldn't be seen without some level of work. The entrance to the forest was covered in vine, and thick grass. Creatures of almost every variety, to fierce wildlife animals, to deadly poison insect. It was the shinobi's job to prevent young Souta from harm, or else he would find himself standing before the Hokage a failure of a simple C rank mission. Souta's body wasn't meant for travel, or any kind of physical labor. Tetsuya would be put to the test. If he complained too much then he wouldn't be receiving any pay.

The suns orbital rays spilled magnificently unto the opulent country that was Hi no kuni, starving the entire countryside of its moisture from what little rainfall it received. The golden, oblique hues slammed heavily upon Tetsuya's back, causing him to release a rather loud sigh, giving hint to his gradual annoyance. The heat was sweltering immensely, so much so that Tetsuya's body sudated to the point where he could not have continued onwards with the mission had he not taken off his hooded shinobi shirt.

"Its extremely hot, I can't even begin to imagine how hot Sunagakure must be."

He hadn't been speaking to anyone in particular, merely throwing words into the air only to have them plummet downwardly as melting clouds, falling upon those who only wished to hear. Koga had no choice given his circumstance. With roughly a hour of travel beneath their feet, Tetsuya and Koga continued to lead this painter upon his travels, coming to a rural intermingling of two branching roads. His stride faltered not even an inch as he walked straight to the left, not even giving the right road a moment of thought.

He was a loyal shinobi of Konohagakure, and it would be utterly disappointing had he lacked the capacity to learn the in's and outs of not only his village but his country itself. The suns beaming rays of hell seemed to diminish as they drew closer to the forest; Tetsuya knew this path and knew the bodies of water that laid ahead, and where there was water-there was moist earth, thus cooler temperatures. Nearing its entrance Tetsuya released his Ninjato from its white prison, swiping masterfully at what vines and undergrowth managed to lightly obscure their path.

"So...Souta, what made you decide on becoming a painter then a Konoha shinobi?

They would embark upon the path that was through vine and vigor. The traveling group ventured through, leading into the beautiful and wonderful waterfall and oasis that was hidden within the large forest of Konoha. Souta eyed the shinobi quite oddly at his question.

"A...a shinobi? No, I could never. There is no beauty in violence and killing. Only in artwork." Clearly the painter had no form for being a shinobi. He was far to frail and weak to even last in a fight with the everyday commoner.

As they traveled onward they would find their destination only a mere 30 meters away. The vast trees and vine blocked their view, but the magnificent rays perched through and the sounds of glorious rushing water came through, tickling their ears. Even Souta found excitement in the journey almost being over. However one last challenge would be placed before the shinobi. Almost as if it were a ghost, a bear, at least twice the size of two men emerged from the confines of the forest. It's eye spotted the two large bags of food. The bear wouldn't be erased with just weapons or even the form of a taijutsu shinobi. A scar slide across it's right eye, and slashes hidden within it's fur showed it was a resilient beast.

The final task before them would be the deciding factor in success and failure. However, this time, it wouldn't just be based on if Souta was displeased or not. Rather, it would be based on if Souta can even return to the village alive. He froze in fear, as the giant beast stood just ten meters away, and with a might roar from it's mouth, it would rush at the two. The young painter fell to his bottom and was paralyzed in fear.

What would the twin shinobi do?

Sound, auditory sensation, however you put it, its a sense often taken lightly among the masses of society and combatants. Whether it was used to bask in the songs of nature, or to exquisitely amass classified information and even keenly track or pinpoint an encroaching target. It was a opulent, central cohesive source of support and stability with the human structure. He Whispered.

"Get back."

With his own keen sense of audition coupled with Koga's, Tetsuya heard the heavy exhalations of the bear, long before its physical form was adopted as a variable within the lay of the physical land. A second before its lustful eyes had met with Tetsuya's own, he equipped his right hand with two silvery tongues of death, one of which bore a ivory tail, and the other, a ball of sunlight. Tetsuya's mission was to make sure that this painter was satisfied with an area within Hi no kuni in which he could transform into one of his many masterpieces. Anything that had attempted to obscure Tetsuya and Koga from their objective would perish beneath them; this bear, though a creature of Hi no kuni, sealed its fate once it sought to argue powers against the Ebony and Ivory twins.

Before the bear had begun to take a charge of its own, Tetsuya's calve muscles tensed and powered through the earthen floor below, already cleaving distance away by 6 meters thanks to his exceeding prowess in Taijutsu. However, the bear itself wasn't straight ahead, no, instead Tetsuya had been running 1 meter to its left. He tossed the flashed kunai to the ground and in that instant it ignited, but Tetsuya himself was gone. With a flash that spreads 10 meters the bear would be blinded and hearing simply gone from the concussive blast; it was now likely that the bear would cease its tread to obtain its bearings once more.

With inhuman footwork Tetsuya had flash stepped 5 meters forward, appearing behind the bear thanks to its mindless rush. Uneffected by the flash from it going off behind him, he turned and launched the tagged kunai into its back before forming a single seal, ending its rage.

But something happened, at first glance one would have suggested a reckless charge by leaving Souta by himself, however such was not the case, nay, not with Kyuuten's. Simultaneously as Tetsuya took off Koga stayed behind willingly separating himself from Tetsuya, finally presenting himself as his brothers Inverse, bearing his ebony but that of ivory taints, along with his headband and hoodie.

Koga too withdrew his ninjato, yet from his black prison, beginning to Guard Souta had Tetsuya failed to dispatch of the bear.

Special: Souma no Kou is all Soushi members crowned technique. It allows the twins to separate from one another for long periods of time. Each correlating rank provides more time - if the user exceeds their given time, both twins will instantly k.o. where they stand (unless one is merged into a victim), and will remain so until death from chakra drain, or until another set of PC twins merge with the user to revive them. Each turn of separation costs chakra. After each 'reunion' the twins suffer a cool-down time (where they cannot separate) equal to the same amount of turns spent apart.

Description: Every Soushi member starts their adventures with Souma no Kou. The very technique is why the Soshi are feared within’ the ninja world. The ability to turn a one on one into a handicapped fight is where the Soushi become glorious and known. One of the two Soushi twins can easily walk out of their twin counterpart as though they were a liquid wall. However they must train further within Souma no Kou if they truly desire to master their bloodlimit. Once the Soushi twins rejoin they may easily separate again and their separation timer will restart. Without this technique, Soushi twins are essentially just simple Siamese twins.

It all happened so fast for a mere mortal. Souta's paralyzed body wouldn't function properly upon seeing the creature appear before him. The sweat ran down his body, not from the heat this time, however, but from the soul that was literally shaken to the bone. He wouldn't catch anything that happened till the earth below him rumbled from the force of Tetsuya's explosive tag going off into the beast's back. It was an appropriate move. The shinobi took the creature's physical form to mind and attacked to finish it off in one swift flush.

The beast that once hunted the Hi no Kuni forests would be no more than a legend, as the explosion turned it into a smaller form of what it once was. Time would pass as the forceful rumble in the forest would turn to silence. Only the sound of slowly decaying flesh melted off of the trees of the forest. Souta's eyes looked blank. He was in a completely different world. His mind attempted to comprise the situation all in a mass. Before his mind could make logic of the situation it was over. The beat was gone and a different form of the shinobi that he accompanied was with him.

Souta wouldn't notice that it was actually Koga before him, and Tetsuya was actually some meters away. Instead his eyes lit up and glowed. He viewed the bloody forest for what it was. The once green and loving leaves of Hi no Kuni were now painted red with blood. The grass was stained even as the leaves were.

"This...this is...amazing. Simply wonderful. So...real," his excitement went on for a bit, using some words that one would probably need a dictionary to understand. "It so vividly explains the world, the world of man. The world of shinobi. A green lush stained in blood and violence. It's much better than anything I could imagine. I must paint it." Souta came to a full stand after being amazing, and pulled a paintbrush from his pouch on his waist like a kunai. He didn't look it, but his swift abilities would show, as his paintbrush swept across his page like a madman. The black ink swept across the paper, turning the white void into a beautiful art. It only took him a mere five minutes to paint the scene before him. The deed would be done.

"Thank you, shinobi," he exclaimed, after examining his art piece and made sure it was right. "It is a success. Isn't it beautiful?" he lifted his painting pad to show Tetsuya an almost exact replica of the very scenery in which they stood. "My compliments for showing me such wonder. We can return to the village now. Your payment will be at the Hokage's office."

And with that, their time together would end.

The concussive blast from both the exploding tag and light bomb rocked the earthen floor, ripping the lascivious bear asunder, decorating the surrounding area in the sanguine paint of deaths heralds. Koga's hand uplifted reflexively, shielding his eyes from both the light bomb and the explosion itself. A cloud of obscuring smoke soon dissipated as Koga and Tetsuya met gaze.

"Jeez you always over do things, now what the fuck are we supp-

Koga rambled on in fear of having not met the level of satisfaction or beauty that the painter wished for so contentedly due to the violent display masterfully performed by Tetsuya. Yet, Koga's ramblings were short lived as the painter seemed to experience a epiphany of some magnitude. Perennially, Tetsuya and Koga glanced at one another and to Souta as he seated himself and began paint what was not considered beauty after seeing it first hand. Shrugging at one another, the Kyuuten's merged once more, leaving Tetsuya as the base body once more.

Having waited for several minutes, they were ready to leave as Souta gave word that he wished to return to konoha. and so they did, safely.
