Centrally located at the heart of the Hidden Leaf, the mansion in which the village’s leader conducts both political and private affairs reside. The Hokage Residence is the centralized construct which houses a number of other facilities that help both advances the village’s opulence, but guides the vast community into the future.

Upon the newly instated Hokage’s discretion, the Tower itself remains in the same architectural solidity that the previous leader respected in the name of his predecessor; with some protectoral adjustments As such the Building retains its multi-level design, as it precise stature peaks at fifty (⁵⁰) meters. The pinnacle of the tower itself is composed of a ceiling-less base, approximately twenty (²⁰) meter, allowing the openness of the sky to glisten upon its terrazzo. The Kanji of the Village’s elemental alignment, Fire (火) if platform on a large edifice that rests on the upper face of the tower, allowing its allegorical message to guide its people. In addition to its impressive height, the Hokage’s residence stretches an imposing fifty (⁵⁰) meters as well.

Its structure designed to weather any storm and platform of a strong defense against invasion, The Tower is comprised of steel and cement; ideal for circumventing danger should it ever rear its repulsive face upon the Hidden Leaf.

The Hokage’s Residence is houses several stories, including the underground dominions as well as the Rooftop; Their purposes are as followed:

[/color][2B] Security - The bottom-most floor, and clearly one with restricted access. It is reserved strictly for security, as all camera feeds for the tower can be viewed here.


★[1B] Treasury - A restricted level. The first underground level of the tower is where the village's funds are located, as well any other rare treasures either from Leaf itself or confiscated from other nations/villages. No one but the Hokage, a few select ANBU and the Shinobi Gashira of Leaf know of the 2325235 digit combination needed to unlock the door.


★[1F] Lobby & Rec - The first floor of the tower greets all visitors with joy, brightly light halls decorated in memorabilia from the past; Kage's and heroes of the Leaf alike were immortalized in statues, with other exotic weapons and armor clinging around and about. The Hokage's staff works hard here, setting up appointment for the Fire Shadow, as well as helping any and all visitors with any questions they posses. In the middle, the elevator leads the visitor wherever the wish to go, though keep in many many floors are restricted and thus will only open with correct access.


★[2F] Security - The second floor, and clearly one with restricted access. It is reserved strictly for security, as all camera feeds for the tower can be viewed here.


★[3F] Scroll Vault - This is a restricted floor. As its name implies, all Village Scrolls are kept here. Guarded at all times, only a select few are allowed to enter, and only a select few know the 2325235 digit combination needed to unlock the door.


★[4F] Security - The fourth floor, and clearly one with restricted access. It is reserved strictly for security, as all camera feeds for the tower can be viewed here.


★[5F] Hokage's Chamber - As it's name implies, the Hokage and their advisors reside here during most of their working time, using this sacred area in order to make vital decisions regarding the village. The doors are closed at all times and guards exist outside to allow permission-based access only.


★[RF] Rooftop - The rooftop, a twenty-five meter wide circular area reserved for very few, serves as both a resting and training ground for the Hokage and his champions, as well as the hub of his pigeon communication system.

Briefly she flipped through the file within the manila folder opened on her desk. With Konohagakure's disease and plague problem along with multiple terrorist attacks many of the village's ninja had been cut down and their numbers reduced severely. There weren't many left that she could count on now to aid her in making their home what it once was under the rule of Ryuusuke.

Damn it, Ryuu, where are you...?

Idly her thoughts drifted to the young Uchiha who had graced Konohagakure as their Nidaime Hokage. He had been far superior than that if Ichijin as well as Jiyuu. However Jiyuu was a whole other story. She felt bad for her friend, but now that she had the reigns it was time to make everything right again. Konoha would be strong, worthy, and concrete in their resolve.

Best way to do that? Promote rally and unity under the ever present 'Will of Fire' passed down among the generations in Hi no Kuni. However, the man, or boy rather, in the file she had read wasn't just a Jounin of the Leaf. Nor was he just an Uchiha either. He came from a legacy, one many older shinobi would never forget. However, she wanted to change that for him and make him stronger than what his record already said he was.

He would help bring Konohagakure no Sato back on its feet.

"Uchiha, Ashura, son of the missing Uchiha Kouketsu, bane of the shinobi world. Hm. I've never met him. I do hope he acts older than what his age would predict."

Sighing, she closed the folder and tucked it away in one of her desk drawers, the one she put his file in also having one other specific folder within. But that, however, would be dealt with at a later time.

I've never been too fond of the Uchiha, but in this case I need to stomp my pride and be the Hokage. Come on Ashura, don't keep me waiting.

"Ashura," a voice rolled over the small field of grass and sound of kunai puncturing wooden clones. "Lady Hokage wants to see you."

"Lady Hokage?" Ashura's brow lofted. "I thought our Hokage was a man?"

The chuunin's face was distraught. "You little twerp! Kohana-sama is the new Hokage, and she is very much a woman! Don't you keep up with anything?!"

Ashura tossed a kunai without looking, sure that it landed square in the center of the wooden dummy's head. "Not really, no. I just got back from a pretty long trip; I haven't been around much, remember?"

"Ugh!" the Chuunin grunted. "Still, you should take a little more time to keep up with the politics of the village. You're a jounin, after all!"

"Alright, alright." Ashura wasn't in the mood to argue, but he really didn't seen the point in getting involved. Politics were best left to the village elders and, consequently, the Hokage. Despite being a Jounin, he was still just a child; if he wasn't on a mission he preferred to be training or having some semblance of fun. "Does she want to meet right now?"

"Yes."

Ashura moved through Konoha with a casual, but precise, pace. It wasn't that he didn't respect the Hokage (even if he'd never met her before, she possessed the title that his master had once had), but he saw no reason to work up a sweat over something that appeared to have no more significance than a simple meeting. Besides, even on the track he was on, it seemed he'd be there right on time. Already, he could see the deep red brim of the Hokage's residence peaking over the rooftops of the nearby building, slowly leading down to the massive kanji situated at its heart.

It was only several minutes later that he entered, catching a glimpse or two as he walked to the desk. Before he could even speak, the receptionist spoke. "Ashura Uchiha?"

"Yes."

"Lady Hokage is waiting for you in her office."

"Thanks." Smiling with a nod, Ashura turned and made his way up the stairs. Even though he'd been a leaf shinobi his entire life, never once had he stepped inside the Hokage's residence; let alone the Hokage's office. It was a somewhat exciting prospect, evident by the butcher-knife smile cemented on his face. Reaching the door marked as Kohana's own, he knocked twice -- just to let her know she had a visitor -- and then entered.

Hm, so she's a Hyuuga he thought to himself while giving her a cursory glance. This'll be interesting. Ashura had no bad blood toward the prestigious clan, but he'd ran into more than his fair share that seemed to detest him simply for his last name. Just the thought brought his mind back to that rowdy woman he'd met in Sunagakure -- Beppin, he recalled.

"You requested me, Lady Hokage?"

Wow he really is still just a child. Not even a teenager yet...

Though she had read his file and knew that the boy before her was barely even a pre-teen it didn't quite hit home for her until the boy knocked on the door and allowed himself in. To put things rather simple, Kohana was a little speechless. But considering just who his father was it wasn't too far fetched really. However she couldn't help but compare him to herself.

She had graduated from the Academy at the age of ten, became Chuunin at fourteen, and then Jounin at the age of sixteen. This boy was only a year older than she was when she had graduated the Academy and was already a Jounin. Not just any Jounin, but one of her strongest ones. Shaking her head, though a smile set in place, she stood from her chair and walked around to the other side of the desk to face the boy.

Almost immediately she would extended her hand out to grab his, shaking it in the process. The interaction was brief though, as she then would let her hand drop quickly back to her side. "Ashura Uchiha, pleasure to meet you. I am Kohana Hyuuga, Hokage, and soon I will be needing you to fulfill a certain duty for me."

Almost like what a big sister would do, she playfully ruffled the boys hair atop his head before turning away and moving back to her desk, though only to hop up onto it and sit on the edge. Crossing her legs, she would then mull on her lower lip as if contemplating on how to explain what her idea was. It wasn't exactly conventional and had never been done before. At least since her time on this earth anyways.

"Well Ashura, you see..." She trailed off for a moment before simply smiling. "Konohagakure isn't exactly in good shape right now. Unfortunately, as Hokage, it will usually end up that my best pro-activity will be sitting behind this desk. That is why I will be taking on a team. Not your conventional Jounin sensei and three Genin pupils."

There was a long pause as her smile grew wider.

"But as the Hokage and her Jounin. But you won't be just any Jounin. There have been fables of those being promoted higher--to Sannin, or Legendary ninja." Hopping down from the desk, she stood and stretched a little. She was keeping this less formal than necessary. After all, Ashura was a child at heart still and she felt the over all atmosphere would be more appealing to him this way.

"To be said simply; you will be one of three Legendary ninja. The first team to ever be deemed 'Legendary' in the ninja world. I myself, as Hokage, will give you the 'rank' of Sannin. Your purpose? Be a force that no one would dare go against. Through you and I, as well as two others who I currently am working on things with, will cause some much needed change."

Smiling still, obviously quite proud at her little description, even though it really was only the icing to the cake. It didn't even scratch what her team of Sannin would be capable of. But, the idea was still new and it would be better for not too many details to be fluttering through the young boy's head. Confusion or misunderstandings were not an option at this point. She was going to bring the Leaf back to its glory like when Ryuusuke was Hokage.

Ashura shook the woman's hand lightly, and didn't move as she ruffled his hair. Smiling, he listened to the Hyuuga's words. Lot of planning; lot of work, too. What she was hoping to do was, agreeably, unprecedented. Despite being a Jounin, Ashura hadn't even heard the mention of "Sannin" before.

Sure, he knew what the title meant and how much honor would come to any shinobi given the privilege of calling themselves to, but this was the first time he'd heard a Kage speak of bequeathing one with it.

As Kohana made herself more comfortable on her desk, followed by her stretching, Ashura simply stuffed his hands into their pockets. "All I can say is that I'll do my best not to disappoint you, Lady Hokage. Making the Hidden Leaf stronger and better than it was has always been my goal, and if this is how you feel my skills will best be utilized, then I'll do just that."

The smile that had remained on the child's face throughout the little meeting grew wider. "I'm sure the other two ninja you select will be just as good."

"Ashura. I may technically be the 'instructor', if you will, to the three Sannin of my choice. However, amongst a cell of three there is always a leader. I know your young, and arguably will most likely be the youngest of the three. However when the time comes you will be their leader."

Smiling she thought back to the days when she herself had been on a squad. Her sensei had been a harsh man with a harsh regiment but he became attached to her and her two squad-mates so quickly. But times had changed since then. Shinji had died trying to protect villagers under siege from bandits and though he failed, his sacrifice was never forgotten. Amara had left Konohagakure a long time ago as well, not quite becoming missing but more so allowed to be 'honorably discharged'. Even her sensei had passed by now as well.

"Ahem," Kohana grinned a little sheepishly, as if caught being lost in thought. "I must also admit that there is another reason I'm making you leader of them, Ashura."

Hoping down from her desk she moved around to her chair, pushing it aside to pull out a drawer that came from the underside of the desk. After retrieving a file, she opened it, still standing, and briefly glanced over it. "Au'garumo, the previous Hokage nominee attended the Kage Summit to see if Kusagakure no Sato would be inducted into our ranks. Though it was, there was also another development...."

Should I really tell him this? Would he leave and try and find him? Defect? Turn on me? Ugh, it's best I do it now rather than hide it from him. As a child it would only hurt him more.

"Kouketsu Uchiha appeared and abducted the Kusakage for a brief amount of time before returning her. It's rumored that she is the sister of the Shodaime Tsuchikage, Kouketsu's conspirator. Of course this is based on rumors, hear say, and what little Au'garumo reported." Again she would pause, eyeing the youthful Uchiha boy before her.

"I personally thought your father had died long ago. But here he is, appearing before us. I don't want to discourage you, Ashura, but I thought you of all people should know. I leave the task of telling your sister to you as well. But know this---please settle anything you need to regarding him. If any of the villages come into confrontation with him, well, I'm sure you know what we would do."

All her life the only thing she could ever think about was murdering her very own father, by her own rightful hand. Even her sister would have no part in it. It was her sole duty, her sole RIGHT. It was the same for Ashura. If he so chose to run to his father, so be it, or if he chose to deal with his father, so be it. Despite being shinobi, even family affairs mattered. Especially considering the gravity of this particular individual.

Dad's name sure gets around.

Despite his best efforts, Ashura couldn't help it. His face was tinged with emotion at the mention of his father, namely because he still hadn't gotten a chance to meet with him. The information that the Raikage had given him proved useful (and now proven credible by the Hokage's statement), but before he could seek it out for himself, he'd been asked to come back home. And though finding his parents was his ultimate goal, anything pertaining to the security and safety of his village took precedence over personal matters.

Somber eyes peered back into the Hokage's own, matching the somewhat sordid expression on the boy's face. "I already know that, Lady Hokage, and will be handling the situation soon." How he intended to 'handle' it, though, not even he was sure. "But, thank you for letting me tell my sister. I'd prefer her to hear about this from me than an outside source."

With a deep breath, the depression left his body. Blinking, his eyes regained their youthful fervor and his cute, handsome smile once again found its way across his face. "As for being the leader of your team, I would be honored. Are you sure the other members won't mind being guided by a child, though?" It was a genuine question. "While I don't doubt my abilities or my talents, there are some who find being led by a child to be... distasteful."

Ashura shrugged. "But, beyond that, I'd like to ask for a special visitor pass for a good friend of mine. While I was traveling, a woman by the name of Kirino Goto helped me and took care of me. We've spent the better part of a year-- every morning, every night --traveling across the world together." His smile was brighter. "She is a Chuunin of the Hidden Mist, and is just as much a family member to me as my own sister. I would like her to be able to come visit me occasionally, without needing to go through the official paper work and such; I know that can take days before it's actually approved."

"I hope so, Ashura. As I said, I'd rather you handle it. After all, he is your family. As is your sister. If were in the same position as you, I would like that opportunity to speak with my sibling before anyone else did."

Kohana, despite her own upbringing and parental and family issues, couldn't imagine having such a horrible man like Kouketsu as her father. Granted, she was sure at one point in that man's life he loved and had been loved like anyone else. Curiously, she wished she could find out what changed or what happened to make him want to do everything that he had done. Ashura most likely, as well as his sister, would find this out one day. However curious she was though, she would never ask unless the little Uchiha in front of her came to her specifically.

Despite the seriousness of Kouketsu in their discussion, as quickly as it came it went. The boy seemed intent on changing the topic back to where it had been prior; the title of Sannin. He was concerned of being in the lead role at his age. Not because of skill of course, but because of how the others may feel as to being led by someone so young. It was indeed a valid concern, regardless of how honored he was to be chosen. The thought did cross her mind when she had initially thought to choose him for this.

However the same thoughts she had after she would reiterate to him.

"Then they wouldn't be fit for the title known as Sannin." She would start, a vexed expression immediately overriding the somber one she had sported just a few moments ago. "The Sannin are supposed to be revered as the Legendary Three. And though you, as well as the other two, will be equal and powerful in your own right---as Hokage I am appointing you as my contact with the team and the one to make the decisions. If they were to be as petty as to ignore your skill for your age then, again, they have no place amongst my chosen."

It was obvious that Kohana had become a bit flustered, though not with Ashura, but more so with people's close minded idiocy when it came to things like this. It was annoying. Granted, at first, she too would be annoyed with being led by a child. But skill, like she stated to Ashura, always outshines age. After all, age is only a number where as its skill that defines who you are within the world of shinobi. Your age won't leave a legacy. Only your skill will.

"Kirino?" Kohana faltered at the name and Ashura's preposition. More so in the fact that he knew that woman. Though it had been some years, the name was quite familiar to her. She had met the woman once while the both of them were on missions that brought them to Kumogakure. That's when her thoughts drifted to him. Kirigakure was home to the one man that stole her heart and had her act like an entirely different woman.

She stayed silent as her mind swam. Finally she was so close to being on the same level as him. Just a little more and she would feel as though she could stand next to him instead of feeling so out classed. Maybe then, just maybe, he would look at her the way she wished he would. Shaking her head though upon that though, she sighed, though smiling all the while, as she rounded her desk to take a seat once more.

"Well, considering Konohagakure and Kirigakure have an...unspoken alliance...their ninja are quite welcome. However, even if we weren't, I actually have met Kirino on a mission to Kumogakure once many years back." Her smile would brighten, much like his had. "If she means as much to you as you say , Ashura, then yes. She can come to see you whenever the two of you choose to see one another. I know that feeling, after all."

Kohana trailed off, however the smile still remained on her face, while her thoughts began to wander to a certain Kirigakure shinobi of her own..

Ashura's smile was wider and brighter than ever. "Thank you so much, Lady Hokage!" Though the day hadn't started out bad, it was definitely going to end on a high note. The fact that he could see Kirino at any time was just-- phenomenal. He truly couldn't put it into words.

"Unless there is anything else, I should really find my sister." Yeah, they had a lot to talk about. "Good day, Lady Hokage." With a curt bow, the young Jounin would make his way out of the door he'd entered from.

As fate would have it, the womanly tyra—divinity, Kohana was still in possession of the title, Hokage. This would make his next move that much easier, while similarly more difficult. It was time to pay the woman who had kept his home integral after his long-lived leave a visit. She deserved to see the man who she succeeded in position, and as well, an explanation as to why she was forced into such a situation in the first place.

The doors of the Hokage Residence would gently break open; the oak obstructions flapping outwards, allowing the Fire Shadow to ingress. His pace was gradual, and while his attire was quite casual, his stare was more buoyant. Those who randomly resided within would instantly turn to face the origin of the new wind which now disseminated around the room; their expressions alone were enough to signify a ghost had entered—literally. It can’t be, several thought, equally synchronized in their own muses. I heard he returned, another one’s thought now orbiting in continuity, however all went unheard and the Uchiha approached the Reception desk.

“Excuse me, do you know if Lady-Hokage is free for a meeting?” It was odd, being on the transmitting end of this conversation; the last he could remember, he was in the position to receive the news from Anbu that someone wanted to see him. The Receptionist, speechless and bemused fervently, and clumsily nodded, sending the orders to the higher-ups; her tone quite baffled and stutter-filled. Meanwhile, Ryūsuke, oblivious to those on looking (or so they thought) stood in place, simply waiting for his means to enter. This would turn into quite the interesting day, now wouldn’t it?

“H-Hokage-sama, I know you said that you wished to not be bothered, but there is someone here to see you. And seeing as how you don’t have any appointments—“

Kohana would look up from a small stack of paperwork (thankfully everything else she had been keeping up on) in order to glare at the timid ANBU male in front of her. He took a step back as if frightened but he paused after she offered him a smile. She dropped her pen to her desk and stood, slowly making her way around it and towards him. Before she would have clobbered him but as of late, or at least since becoming involved with him she had become a lot more docile.

That wasn’t saying that the Hyuuga female was anything less than violent.

Grabbing the ANBU’s shoulder, she wrenched him down to stare him in the ‘eyes’, or at least the eyes of the monkey mask he wore. “Indeed I did say that I didn’t want to be bothered. Clearly you don’t know how to follow orders. No pay for two weeks and you’re off duty. Dismissed.” She almost tossed the ANBU male aside and began to head back to her desk when he cleared his throat and managed to take a step after her.

“Bu-but ma’am…he is claiming to be Uchiha Ryuusuke…the Nidaime—“

In one swift motion Kohana had grabbed a paperweight from her desk and slung it straight at the ANBU with all her might. He saw this coming though, knowing her, and was able to evade it. However the poor wall, as well as the subsequent handful of rooms after that weren’t so lucky. The boom and crashes would be easily heard below of course, however she didn’t care. This time she marched to the ANBU once more, clearly agitated more so than she had been prior. “Idiot. Uchiha Ryuusuke is dead!”

Pushing passed him; Kohana kicked her door open (which sent it flying off its hinges) before continuing down to the lobby where ‘Ryuusuke’ was waiting. None of the word had reached her yet, so this was a surprise that someone would impersonate a dead Kage like this. However upon reaching the lobby, despite the angry look still plastered across her face, she froze in the doorframe as she stared at him. Every single detail was just like the Ryuu that she remembered. But it was common news, at least for her that he had died thanks to the previous Tsuchikage. How could this even be possible?

Veins would throb and pulse as her eyes sharpened and her Byakugan became active. Though it only remained so for a handful of seconds before it vanished. The angry look on her face faltered slightly but still stayed as she marched her way over to the man. With each step her eyes would become shinier, tears beginning to pool at the corners. In the few seconds it took her to reach him, the tears that gathered had started to trickle down her face as she hugged the man she claimed to hate. Unbeknownst to her, everyone around them was just as shocked as Ryuusuke would most likely be.

“You…fucking idiot…” She finally said, a slight sob given after that. “All this time you were alive. What’s with you always pretending to disappear or die…?” Her voice sounded angry, but pained too, legitimately saddened that the Uchiha would continue to do this over and over and torment his people more so than what they already were. Hadn’t Konohagakure no Sato and her people had enough? That’s when the anger boiled over all too quickly and a swift punch to the back of the former Hokage’s head would be given as she backpedaled away from him.

“How dare you think you can come waltzing in here after everything you’ve done—or haven’t done!!” Despite her words, Kohana was still crying. “W-what gives you the right?! Why come back now when you have abandoned us for so long?! Even Jiyuu has left…EVERYONE LEFT…!!”

Everyone left and I was the only one left…all alone…

The ground above him trembled as fragments of wood and splinters danced down rapidly and furiously. She was coming, and her anger was well felt through her steps; this would turn dispassionate quite fast, and while the Uchiha was ready for mostly everything, what would happen next would catch even him, by surprise. The doors shot open, almost exploding off their hinges and Ryūsuke was faced with his successor and a friend—possibly she considered their camaraderie in the past, she had all the right to. He’d stare her down, his half-hearted smile filled with cheer in untroubled euphony. However, it would soon diminish at the sight of tears.

She approached him, much shorter and her head was held down. Her tears now impossible, though her sorrow felt as her arms wrapped around him. You fucking idiot, she exclaimed, and it rang well through his consciousness. Gradually accepting her as well, his hands rested well upon her lower back as his words would flow into the air. “I know.” soft and only perceptible to the woman he held, he didn’t bother arguing, she was completely right. He was an idiot, and he did let his people down, for the second time in such a similar fashion.

So maybe he did deserve what was coming next. “OoooooouuchcCHChcH!” the back of his head assaulted by a strong hit as she pushed away and her words slashed into his frame harder than her hand. He’d wince, his eyes narrowing in pain as he stood erect; they would only calm upon gazing at her. His features had shifted drastically, from excruciating to depressive, almost unemotional as his golden eyes reflected his inner thoughts upon the Hokage. “You’re right, I don’t have the right to walk in here as if I own this place, or deserve your love.” He answered, his tone devoid of emotion, stripped of any bliss, or grief for that matter.

He stood in place, not approaching her and ignoring the lurking eyes that were scattered amongst the lobby. Everyone had their eyes on the man who was violated by the Hokage, and surely most of them felt the same way she did. “Though I didn’t abandon you, or this village,” He wasn’t done. Looking outside the nearest window, deep into the grand array of light which leveled with the earth’s surface from the sun, he sighed.

”And I didn’t pretend to die, Kohana..”

Kohana didn't want to hear it. She didn't want him to finish what he was saying. None of it mattered now. He left for war and never came back. He was thought to be dead. Then she found him, once, for the briefest of a fleeting moment. Then he was gone again. Word then spread of his death during the war between Sunagakure no Sato and Iwagakure no Sato. Again he had left them, though this time for good. But in reality he was still alive and let everyone think otherwise.

He was disgusting.

The Hyuuga stomped her foot at the end of his sentence. The floor groaned beneath her foot as the wood splintered, rupturing around her foot so easily like it was a common occurring circumstance. It wasn't, but that was because nothing these days angered like this as they used to. "Ryuusuke Uchiha I don't want to hear the same excuse you used the last time I saw you. You are a terrible man who is nothing but selfish. All you care about is your well being."

There was a pause as if she was struggling with what she was saying. If anything, the still constant fall of tears was a testament to that in itself.

"People revere you as the best Kage Konohagakure no Sato has seen---BUT WHERE ARE YOU NOW?!" Her body was shaking to the point where anyone would be able to notice. The disease slowly died out and people became immune. But more died than necessary all because people held on to the material of their home.

Stomping again, this time with her other foot, creating the same effect as before she would take a step forward with one of her hands forming into a fist and shaking it at the previous Kage. Selfish? The Uchiha had been called many things in his lifetime: strong, compassionate, lighthearted, ignorant. However, Selfish was quite fresh to the brim, nonetheless, for her to use it, maybe it held some truth. The last time the two saw one another, it was during that rather monotonous hunt for the world’s most valued fortune, which ended in complete failure and the Uchiha vanishing from her life once more. His intentions were chaste, thought when set juxtaposed with the need of his people; one could say he was self-seeking in that sense. He was needed somewhere—truly required—yet he didn’t show due to his own agenda. Yes, selfish did fit well, he supposed.

His Sharingan was needed to see the difficulty maintaining her equanimity, the strain in her voice and the malice in her eyes; however, through all the hate, sorrow seeped through her tears. He wanted to talk, but he couldn’t form anything appropriate when facing such emotion. Unluckily for him, she had more to say, and her words didn’t grow any kinder as this one-sided affair trickled into searing blade aimed at the man’s heart. She spoke of war, treachery, civil uprising and a deathly pestilence; all information foreign to his senses as he looked on with calm resting eyes, holding his composure as the Hyūga’s continued to spill over pass its boiling point. It seemed while he was away, Konoha had seen quite the number of tragedies in his absence.

Her feet continuing to sent trembles through the finely reinforced flooring of the vestibule, and as those looking on backed away in panic, the Uchiha stood still. Her hand now clenched before his face, her anger had seen new limitations; her ceiling cracked. She took a swing at him, and with all the intention in the world to shatter his face and end his life once more, he would react.

…. A silence befell in the room and as eyes widened, Ryūsuke’s evolved.

“So I guess you’d like to kill me, again?” He’d question in a low tone. His arm interlocked around the woman’s, locking her elbow in pace as her chakra-infest fist rested to his rear, he tugged her in. Upon further inspection, she’d notice the swirling tomoe, three to be precise, moving in perfect symmetry as crimson stained his once amber hues. In the briefest of seconds, to avoid collision, did the Uchiha activate his eyes and allowed her fist to pass through a space between his arm and side, capturing it and tightening his grasp just above her inner arm with his opposing hand.

”I wasn’t pretending, Kohana..”

Surely she would lock eyes with the man, her confidence and anger wouldn’t allow otherwise. The instant she did so, however, Ryūsuek introduced her senses to his past; His unique brand of Hypnosis plunging her to the battlefield of Sunagakure as if she had been there all along. She would see the Uchiha’s fall—catered to her own invisibility would she see the man who claimed false death wither away in a array of black flames as his body was incinerated. However, she would find herself shifting to a new scenery—Yukigakure, where the knight would soon rise once more. Bare and without a conscious explanation to how he returned to the physical world. Nonetheless, fright she wouldn’t in confusion as he became tangible—Kōketsu, who held Ryūsuke by the neck after enlivening him. Their conversation was silent, Kohana wouldn’t know what the two shared, however, she would see the truth, and she would know how he came to be directly in front of her. And with that, the illusion ceased to exist and the Uchiha’s grip on her faded.
