Sayuri couldn't bear it any longer. Try as she did to bring a good name back to her clan it seemed as though nothing she did ever went on to be noticed. She was a failure as a kunoichi and a failure to the Kurama. Everything that she had dreamed of had rotted away with the plague that had taken control of her village in the past.
Though the sickness was gone, her rotting self still remained. Konohagakure no Sato had no more need or no room for the likes of her. Ripping her headband from her being, she tossed it to the ground without a second thought. Who would even notice that she had vanished into the night? Worst come to worst, she would just be named another causality, if she was named at all.
Sayuri would be no more, nothing but a whisper and shadow amongst history. With that thought in mind she left the village and wandered forward to wherever life would take her. As long as it was far away from here and shinobi life, that's all that mattered.
