A talk with the Hokage?! [Invite only]

Late afternoon, Konohagakure No Sato, Hokage's office.

It was a surprise to most people to be called to the Hokage's office with no notice on what was going to happen. Now, it wasn't unusual to see a Hokage, per-se, but on a eye-to-eye basis, and not a mission standard? You had to be quite high priority to get such treatment, and on that note, it probably wasn't good.

It was what awoke him early this morning. Footsteps had awoken him from sleeping on his couch, and when he was about to expect a knock at the door, he heard a silent 'ssshhh' of paper being jammed under the door. Not thinking much of it, Shouta had gone back to sleep without much of a care, waking up three hours later (approx 15:24) to get the paper, only to see that it was a notice that he had a meeting with the Hokage, and in thirty minutes ontop of that.

For a lack of words, Shouta rushed to get a shower in under ten minutes (a mighty feat for him, mind you) then get dressed, combed and out the door. Albiet surprised, Shouta barely made it in on time, only a half-minute late. Leaving him with one thing on his mind:

What punishment, or talk, was he about to get?

A wave of sanguinary had trapped me in the moment I awoke. It was only about an hour ago where I had put my clothes on, thinking of what it was I would be doing today. If I hadn’t laid my head back down I wouldn’t have tired myself, again. My black spandex under armor would be complimented by my weapons vest and satchel. I would wrap some medical tape around the rest of my leg which remained uncovered by my under-armor. After having done so I would then wrap the strap along my sword at a parry across my chest, allowing it to rest neatly on my back; the hilt of the blade ejecting over my thin black hairs. The last piece of the puzzle would be the leaf village head band; I would stare in the mirror as I placed it on, making sure to wipe clean every stain I managed to find on its silver frame.

With a wink I would have made my way out of my room into the hallway. Within the hallway were two giant portraits on either side of the wall, three were filled with the heads of the recent Hokage’s whilst the last one remained blank. As I walked by it I tried not to pay it mind for it held a deep symbolic meaning in the way it taunted my every nerve, it was as if I were already dead to them all. I would shake the thought loose though as I made way through the giant set of doors acting as entrance into the manor compound, where the noise of everyday life came bustling in, setting me free of the anxiety and stresses of my self-inflicting mind.

“I wonder who will be my escort today..? I’d say as I lazily searched through the number of shinobi within the courtyard, wondering if he or she had arrived already”

The first thing which he noticed which seemed a bit out of place was a single person. At first, the male who began to stride out of the resedential area looked a bit out-of-place. He was obviously Jounin level or higher, but held a much more intricate design on his clothing. This led Shouta to allow his mind to dwadle for a moment, remembering one of the more recent times he had saw the Hokage..

"Oh!" A single ajar hair flew out of the way as Shouta remembered who the man was, a single hand bobbing into the air, masked by a brown leather glove. "Hokage-sama! Over here!" The words echoed out across the courtyard, causing some distraught looks from some of the staff, a few of the Shinobi bowing low in respect to the Hokage, some even whispering to their dear friends.

I just hope he can see me.. Hm, I must not be all that visible..
