Peace was waning. That was obvious to Akio, and he was sure to every other Samurai in the area. Those assigned even to Leaf were receiving regular updates from Iron on the world's situation. They were all extremely tight-lipped of course, Samurai training would not allow for curiosity to pervade their sense of honor and blab to the ninja of the current dangers. But he was sure they knew. Ninja were not stupid. In fact, Akio would admit they were quite formidable foes when they put their minds to it.
He had to keep himself sharp. On the watch. Constant vigilance of his posts assigned, and for now, that was Konoha until ordered further. Help them out however he could. Akio was grateful for times like these, times that the village was silent. It meant that he could train himself one of the staples of course before he could protect anyone. Already he was familiar enough with the intricacies of the Hidden Village that he had a favorite training spot: which he simply monikered The Dojo. It was traditional, as far as tradition went. Samurai brethren were often seen there practicing their professional skill, and ninja alike manipulating their Taijutsu. It was like returning to home, as far as he could do so.
He walked the streets of Konoha into the large wooden building. It wasn't fancy, holding nobodies attention unless they were aware of it's purpose, or drawn to the shouting of the training inside. The large sliding wooden doors were already drawn open, showing many brawny, or skilled men going about their business. Akio himself was not sure how imposing a figure he was, garbed in his Samurai armor, a katana hanging from each side, and his regular armaments adorning his body. He wasn't the only Samurai present however, and many of the others included even heavier weapons: field swords and the like, dueling or swinging this way and that.
He walked deeper into the gym, almost a straight line while surveying the scene going on around them all. At nearly the end of the room, he stopped his advance, and rose up to a small rise that had only recently been added to the Dojo. It was a small square, and several replicas existed in architectural locations. But Akio knew of the true purpose of them and he took a seat, kneeling upon the rise.
