Description: Tales more just as fluidly through the underground circuit as water through a defined channel. As such with the proper form of reimbursement and a willing ear to comprehend, news of something grave have surfaced. Within the Hidden Leaf ranks, it seems an official by the name of Chōshiki Yugi- a Chūnin and respective member of Anbu has gathered a small battalion of men to eventually oppose the Hokage. Their goal is simple—to claim the title of the fire shadow and rule with an iron first. Consciously, they accept their current strength as subpar and as such haven’t surfaced publicly; it’s your job to make sure this doesn’t happen. In a small team of two, or alone, you’re to investigate this scheme and put an end to it as best you can; death will NOT be permitted.

Hmph, why they would assign a lowly Genin to be my partner on this mission I’ll never know. I could handle this on my own if necessary…

Flipping her long black hair some while walking, Kohana rolled her blank, white eyes. Perhaps they were running low on Chuunin and Jounin that could be used for such missions as this. But if that was the case, even Genin would be a little unprepared to face off against a man, or a few men from what the report had said, from the ANBU Black Ops. With a slight chuckle, she tucked the hair she had just flipped behind her ear and eyed the area around their meeting point—Ichiraku Ramen.

It was the most obvious yet unsuspicious place to meet within the village and no one would suspect anything other than two friends, despite not knowing each other in reality, getting together for food. Taking a seat on the bench next to the shop, Kohana crossed her legs and folded her arms under her breasts.

“Did you want to order anything miss?”

Kohana looked up to the young girl that was tending to the customers and shook her head, a smile, though fake, plastered across her face. “Why thank you, but no. I’m waiting for a friend of mine first to decide where we’re going to go.” She paused, glancing briefly around. “But thank you, I’m sure we’ll most likely be back though. Can’t beat Ichiraku you know!”

The young girl giggled in agreement before hurrying off to tend to the other customers who were actually buying and eating stuff. The Hyuuga just rolled her eyes once more in annoyance.

He better not be late.

He was rather bored today yet he was assigned to do a mission. With no other information, just knowing the area where he would meet his so called partner of the day. Actually understanding the concept of being alone was quite hard in the beginning, but Oga decided to ignore it. Ninja work was much more important then his own actual desires. Higher ranked then the other mission he was prone to do due to his rank.

Approaching the area where he was supposed to meet some sort of girl, rumors said that she was a sociopath, a strong one. Woman were his weakness, though Sociopaths were quite the freaky ones. Memories began to plague his mind of the past, troubled woman, sociopaths. Frowning, memories ruining the beginning of the day.

Walking in through the doors of one of the greatest Ramen shops in Konohagakure. His ninja band on covering his left eye, which covered the scars of battle. It wasn't as busy as usual, questioning what could be up? Many began to lay there eyes upon Oga upon entering. Was it because of the way he wore his headband?

He turned to his side to notice one of the most beautiful women he has ever seen. Gazing at her noticing her ninja headband, she must have been the ninja he was accompanying on the high classed mission.

Instead he would stand there hoping for the girl to approach him instead of walking to her, which usually lead to some sort of accident making him the laughing stock of the day or mistake her for the wrong female. Shifting his gaze from the female to the ceiling, awaiting some sort of reaction or reply.

Kohana stared in disbelief. Was that really going to be her back up for this mission? It was rather obvious that the shinobi who had walked in was her partner. He was young, much younger than she was. He still seemed green, inexperienced, yet eager like any youth to prove himself.

Her Byakugan could see much more than just his tenketsu, after all, she had been in the ‘business’ for a long time. She could read people easily enough.

After a few moments had passed, she grumbled a little to herself and stood. It seemed he was going to stand there all day if she didn’t make the first move. Men, they were all the same whether they were young or old. Either way, the Hyuuga stood, a slight glare given as she walked over to her counterpart and patted his shoulder.

“Oh there you are! You kept me waiting; you know that’s not very gentlemanly of you!” Her smile was sweet though her eyes glanced about briefly while leaning in ever so slightly. Under her breath she muttered low enough for only him to hear. “Play along and follow my lead. We don’t know who may be in ANBU and who may be aligned with our target.”

She stepped back from the other ninja, though her hand was still on his shoulder as she started to lead him outside of Ichiraku’s into more of an open area on the street. At least out there it would be a bit easier to talk without prying eyes and listening ears trying to discern what they were talking about.

Once outside, the Hyuuga halted and turned to her partner, arms folding once again along her chest, underneath her breasts. “I’m Kohana, my surname should be obvious.” As she said this, she pointed to her eyes and then stared at him, waiting for him to catch up to speed.

I hope he can keep up...

She looked pretty irritated, though he was slightly intimidated by the way she was staring at him, and those eyes had a frightening feeling behind them. They were an odd color, but he kept his gaze up into the ceiling. This was rather funny noticing her expression. She finally approached him, his ability at deducing things have been shown to be much more accurate then others. He felt her touch his shoulder enough for him to turn around quickly.

She spoke about how he kept her waiting. He was known for coming fashionably late to any scenario, it was how he was. Her next comment didn't seem to affect him at all, a grin appeared on his face. Noticing her lean in closer, he got flustered, cheeks turning to a beet red, not used to females getting that close with him.

It was very unlikely that there was Anbu or ninja that were aligned with the mysterious group that have decided to rebel against the Kage. Though precautions were needed, she was probably trained that way.

She placed her hand on his shoulder and lead him out of the Ramen shop. To the busy town street, it was wide and open, what she probably preferred at the moment. She didn't want to get heard by anybody. They kept going until she found a spot which she decided is okay to converse in.

Coming to a halt, she introduced herself and decided to leave out her surname, and point at her eyes. He was quite dumbstruck when it came to special clans in Konoha or famous figures, oblivious of this, not really caring for the topic. Instead he made a confused look, biting his lower lip.

"Yeah, I wondering whats up with your eyes, and your surname really isn't obvious. You can call me Oga."

He stood there smiling with his hands in his pockets awaiting her reply.

Kohana stared at him dumfounded herself. How could this kid, Oga, or whatever his name was not know about the Hyuuga clan? After all, they had their own section of Konoha and were one of the founding clans of the village back when the hidden villages were first founded. A few moments passed and she realized she hadn’t said anything back to the young boy. However, it retrospect, she wasn’t a very big fan of her clan and how they treated people. In fact, only person she actually liked that was a Hyuuga was her own sister and the Genin Zero she hadn’t seen in quite some time.

He’s probably Chuunin by now…

Her idle musings were quickly cut short as she just smiled and patted his shoulder once more. “Hyuuga. The blank, white eyes are of the Hyuuga clan. Normally not knowing someone from the clan would be a big strike to their pride.” She got close to him, as if angry before just chuckling and brushing by him. “However, you’re lucky that I’m not the typical member of the Hyuuga clan.”

She started walking, expecting Oga to follow her. The destination of choice? The residence of their target, Choshiki Yugi.

“I doubt he’ll be here to be honest. But…”

Her eyes seemed to intensify as veins bulged out from her temple and around her blank eyes, activating her Byakugan. Kohana stared up towards the apartment, noting no chakra signature and smiled. She looked over to Oga, her eyes still bulging, seeming to stare straight through the younger male.

“With my doujutsu, I’ll keep watch. Normally I would have said for you to keep watch and I’d go in. But, you need practice and here’s your chance to get some.” She paused and pointed at the apartment that she had recently scanned just moments ago.

“Go in there and snoop around, see if anything is suspicious. Like any notes on meeting places, papers on the layout of the Hokage Castle, anything that would seem relevant to a resurgence.” She smiled a little now, though it was a crooked, almost devilish one.

“If anyone comes, I’ll see them and take care of them, then I’ll come for you. Alright?”

She was done talking, there was nothing else to discuss. It was business time and the mission was their priority now. Start with finding clues and or information, then find the target and neutralize him along with any others aligned with him. It didn’t seem too hard considering everything in her arsenal was debilitating.

Internal chakra attacks, sealed chakra, medical expertise, and Souin chakra enhanced strength. The mission was already completed in her mind, but she was curious to see what the Genin had to offer and just how well he was trained so early in his shinobi career.

Hyuuga? Never heard of those folks before, and a strike to their PRIDE! What the hell could they do, I'd crush them one handed!

Oblivious to his surroundings most of the time unless its life-threatening information or involves himself. she wasn't a typical member of her own clan, that seemed odd in his perspective. Well those eyes she had made him question if they were even human. Every time he attempted to make eye contact with the female beauty he felt some sort intimidating feeling wash over him.

She began to move towards the next location which was most likely the enemy's territory. Pretty risky as well not knowing the full capabilities of this female acting so old and wise. Letice just kept his composure, keeping his cool as he followed the Jounin until they reached a desolate area where they could stake out.

Finally coming to a halt to notice her veins near the temple around they intimidating yet creepy eyes. She then turned to face Letice, he was rather scared then intimidated now by those eyes. She began to speak this time, asking him to go down. Since he needed 'practice'. Well she wasn't informed that he wasn't no ordinary Genin, being a master in the Katon arts, legendary Katon Doragon. She had been misjudging ever since they met, thinking he was young though the gap between there ages was pretty small. Unless she was those old hags who had the ability to keep a young appearance, the thought caused him to twitch.

Requesting him to go down into the house and check to see if there any thing that could probably be used as confidence. She smiled after her request, yet the bulging veins made him face the other direction. Though he felt an evil aura coming off of that smile, as if she was apart of these rebels and she was attempting to kill him. Thoughts of many scenarios that could happen plagued his mind.

He was insulted, hearing that she would take care of them and come for him!?!?! She was underestimating him due to his rank and his pretty boy face. Or that his Headband was tilted that it would cover his left eye completely. Instead of nodding in reply with her 'alright?' he was already gone in a quick burst of speed. So fast that it would leave an after image of himself right next to her if she needed a Letice to cuddle with if she required any assistance in her area.

He landed right next to the window before sliding it open carefully and slowly so he would create any type of noises. Entering through the tiny space. It was then when he would begin to scan room in search of anything that would assist as evidence against these rebels. There was a large bed which meant this man most likely slept with someone, a wife, a male partner?

On the table were scattered papers that had layouts of some sort of tower, due to Letice being oblivious to things, he didn't believe it to be the layouts of the actual Hokage castle. Instead he decided to go on his gut and took the folder of the scattered papers and was about to leave. Only when problems begin to start.

Extreme animal senses and instinct, he heard the noises of footsteps of a few fellow men. He would turn to the window to check to see if Kohana had noticed due to her weird creepy eyes. Instead he motioned his hand in a waving motion to tell her that he was okay and to stay there instead of coming to help.

If Kohana got his message she wouldn't come, and hurt his pride even more. That was if she respected him.

He began frantically turning his head side to side to see for a perfect area to hide. Most likely these were the rebels, and were Shinobi. He noticed the little space between the carpet and bed he could hide in. With a swift leap he was under the bed, nervously shaking preparing his hands for handseals.

He lay under the bed while the bunch of rebels entered there apartment room. He was prepared for a fight, even though he was under the bed.

Not knowing his utter lack of knowledge and total oblivious attitude to that of clans and other essential bits of knowledge a shinobi from the Leaf, Kohana thought that she and the boy had enough understanding of each other.

However, she was quite wrong. He didn’t answer her, which was fine, but he left an after image of himself which she grumbled at. Was he even taking this seriously? With an angry thrust, she swiped at the after image to dispel it, grumbling while her eyes scanned out in a full range of vision to detect anyone coming.

For a few minutes it didn’t seem like anyone was coming. That was a good thing. It would give time for Oga to find what they needed and then get out of here, regroup, and look over what he found in order to devise a plan of action to continue their mission and apprehend their target. However, it didn’t seem luck would be entirely on their side. But then again, that’s how it seemed it was always like in the life of a ninja.

Her eyes bulged as moving chakra signatures caught her sight and she turned to face where they were coming from. They came in from the opposite side of where she was standing and had entered the apartment complex. Judging from the flow of chakra going through their tenketsu, they were definitely ninja.

However she couldn’t tell who exactly they were. She watched and waited, blank ivory, yet bulging eyes carefully following the group of men traversed through the building and began to head straight to where Oga was.

Freaking great…I guess it starts already…

Kohana poised herself to leap up towards the window of the apartment that Oga had used to get in; however her partner’s appearance and wave of his hand told her to stay put. She hesitated, not entirely sure she was willing to put this in his hands considering he was outnumbered. Regardless of what he was capable of, master in Katon unbeknownst to her, he still wouldn’t be a match for a handful of ANBU.

Entering the room above, three men scattered about. One went straight to the fridge in order to start scarfing down some food. The other just leaned against the wall, tapping his foot, seemingly impatient, while the third went straight over to the desk to start gathering up the papers that had been strewn across it. However, the man froze as he gathered the papers and glowered.

“Damn it! Yugi must already have the plans and order assignments. Oh well, we can still deliver the tower blueprints. Come on guys, we can’t keep him waiting. You know he gets annoyed easy.”

Two grunts of agreement were quickly given, followed by the sounds of more eating from the man at the fridge. Presumably, all three were of the ANBU, but none were dressed in the normal ANBU attire. A few more moments passed while the man at the desk gathered stuff up before turning to his comrades and waving for them to go. “Come on, we have to get to the Forest of Death.”

Just like that they were out the door and making their way down the stairs and had been on their way. Sighing a breath of relief, Kohana leapt up to the window and shimmied her way into the room, glancing around. Her eyes were still bulging, tracking the three men as they slowly got further and further away.

“Oga, what did you hear? What did they say? Tell me what you found. Afterwards, we have to follow those men and take care of them. It looks like their heading out of town…” She paused, her eyes glancing to the side as if she could still see them (which in reality she could). “Definitely out of town…”

Kohana glanced back towards her partner, already knew full well that he had been hiding under the bed. Now she was just waiting for his response and then the planning in order to get their target effectively.

The men entering the room didn't seem so high & mighty as he thought. He could have struck them all down at that moment but his position under the bed was quite the comfortable spot for any stressed out ninja. They began to talk about about delivering the blueprints, sadly for them, Letice already had took the folder of scattered blueprints with him. Once they left, Kohana rushed in. Luckily she believed in him and stayed in her position.

Crawling out of the little space under the bed, he stood up with the folder in his hand. A smile of satisfaction upon his visage before handing the folder over to Kohana which contained the blueprints of the Hokage's newest castle, though Letice just believed that they were weird drawings, oblivious to the fact that they were blueprints at all.

"Oh yeah something about sending something to some place, but I think there heading to the Forest of Death."

Patting the dust from his clothing, well it looked as if they needed to clean up under there bed. Fixing himself up regaining his composure. He thought of a way to get there, a shortcut, she might not agree, but it would be better to reach the forest before the rebels did.

"Well I think I got a plan. We'll take a shortcut to reach the forest before these guys do. Once we reach the area before them, we can set up traps they'll walk into. They won't expect it since there really no one who knows of there meeting at the Forest of Death. They'll walk into them with ease!"

He awaited for her reply to see if she had a better plan or his or they could continue with his. It wasn't perfect, but it seemed as if the Jounin ability relied on her skills too much instead of thinking of tactics.

The forest of death huh? Well now, isn’t that a tad bit ironic?

Kohana chuckled to herself at the thought before taking hold of the documents that were in the folder Oga snatched before the men had arrived. After skimming through the blueprints of the Hokage Castle, she scoffed and let electricity rush through her hand in order to ignite the documents. Last thing they needed were the blueprints getting in the hands of anyone else.

If she knew the administration for the Hokage as well as she thought she did, the blueprints that they had were most likely a copy anyways. Sighing as she let the smoldering paper burn, she turned to Oga eyed him up, her eyes still bulging and seeing straight through him, only to keep track of the men that had fled the scene.

“If you’re wondering, those blueprints were of the Hokage Castle. That’s why I set them on fire. As for your plan, I like it, though I think we need to be a little safer about this.”

Hm…can I really trust him to get the job done? Well, I suppose we got this far already without any confrontation…

Tapping her chin, she processed a few different ideas that could go along with what Oga had originally planned on an ambush near the forest. That’s when it hit her. There were multiple entrances to the forest, and though with her Byakugan she would be able to see them coming, it would still take time if they weren’t close to the right entrance.

“Alright Oga, how about you go on ahead. Stake out the eastern entrance to the forest of death and set up some kind of trap. Maybe something with ninja wire or something, I don’t know, I’ll leave that up to you.”

She paused; staring passed him for a moment just to keep her reconnaissance on the men in check before turning back to her young partner. “I’ll lead them to you. Well, I’ll chase them to you. They wouldn’t want to face a Jounin without being with their group, or with the target. Remember though, I’m counting on you to set that trap, okay? Once we have them, we go after the main guy, Chosuki Yugi.”

A smile, though slight, was given, and it wasn’t truly evil looking like before. It was actually almost genuine. Maybe she really was putting her faith in him, or maybe she was just forcing herself to. Regardless, she was treating him like a teammate rather than someone beneath her.

It seemed as if the plan was set and ready. He was about to set off before he noticed her smile once again. This time it felt much more warmer then before which seemed as if she wanted him to die. The smile was enough for him to harden his resolve, he nodded in reply to her plan before leaving in a quick burst of speed, leaving behind an after-image in the apartment with Kohana, with the 'nice guy' pose, his thumb up with a big goofy smile.

He was off, tree branch to tree branch. Swiftly moving through with amazing speeds as leaped gracefully from his position. With another leap he bypassed the security, which was nothing more then a large fence. The Forest of Death had one quality, death. The ability to sniff out the scent of dead bodies from afar meant there was multiple corpses. It is said to be rumored it is where they held the Chunin exams. It didn't matter, yet when he found the right spot he begin to do some work.

He brought out wire where he began to tie it as well as grenades that would aid in the success of the these traps. While setting up multiple traps across the forest, near the gates supposedly not to get lost he felt the source of a large chakra nearby. It was his gut feeling, pure instinct, but a feeling was a feeling, right?

A man wearing a mask over him, a ANBU mask approached him. He knew that Kohana was undermining him due to his ability and ninja skills, so he would surely prove that he was ready to prove his skill against any ANBU he would attack him. The ANBU with the cat feral mask unsheathed his blade in an odd fashion before him before he vanished. This was similar to Letice's speed but he felt as if he was lacking.

Unsheathing his own blade, Oga parried the slash of the man Ninjato. A smile appeared across his face. He began to understand why most were undermining him. Reason to believe he was nothing more then a Genin. With enough force, Oga used it to push back the ANBU for an opening. He then launched his own Katana as a projectile towards the ANBU which would distract him.

Using the opening widow of time, he would execute the handseals at speeds that were amazing as if each seal was apart of the fluid chain-reaction. Heat infused lungs as he inhaled a large sum of air around him before exhaling a burst of fire shaped in a dragon towards the ANBU, he wouldn't notice it and would been charred to a crisp. Breathing heavily due to the chakra he had exhausted, he approached the area of the objective.

He continued building all the trap around the perimeter of the forest near the gates so once they entered and got some distance in. Once he finally completed each trap he climbed one of the largest tree's giving him the vision of all the gates to see the progress of Kohana and watch over her if she required any help, and to see if the mission was working.

His end of the bargain was over, time for Kohana's.

Oga was gone and Kohana hoped that she could trust him. That’s what it pretty much came down to. It wasn’t that it was even particularly him that she didn’t trust; people in general she found were unable to trust most of the time. Especially shinobi.

However, for the sake of herself, the mission, and her own future she would have to place trust in her younger partner if they were to come out of this on top.

Carefully she watched Oga’s chakra signature go until her was on the far reaches of her Byakugan’s limit. She waited another moment before bursting from her position, flitting from the top of buildings and into the trees towards the three men that had previously left the apartment. It was unfortunate that the mission required that they not be killed, otherwise she would have finally been able to have some real fun.

Regardless, she continued through the trees, veins bulging and pulsing as her eyes tracked down the three men from before as they leisurely made their way to the forest of death as if there was nothing wrong. However, she would quickly show them otherwise.

It only took moments longer for her to be close enough to start her assault. Drawing chakra into her fist, she picked out the man who had been leaning against the wall back in the apartment and dropped down next to him, slamming her chakra charged fist into the ground.

BOOM.

Even Oga would most likely hear it as the ground was ripped asunder by her chakra enhanced strength, the ground shattering as pieces of the earth and rock rained down like falling cherry blossom petals. The barrage of rock battered at her target and crushed him under the debris. He’d be pretty injured, not dead, but injured enough to be taken out of this fight. The other two men, though skilled enough to most likely put up a fight, turned tail and ran instead.

Smirking, Kohana withdrew some senbon and followed after them quickly, firing the needles to deter their path. When they were close enough to where she wanted them to go, she inhaled deeply and let loose a flow of poisonous mist to block the nearest path. The one who had been at the fridge skidded, passing through part of the mist but got out before too much damage was caused. He coughed violently and barely kept up behind the man with the other blueprints and notes from the apartment.

Oga, their coming your way…you had better have those traps set up by now…

In the distance, her eyes could clearly make out Oga, though the traps she couldn’t see. Perhaps he had taken her advice and used ninja wire? Regardless, she also detected a second chakra network, though it seemed that person was put out of commission by her partner. Not bad. Either way, it was time to make the two guys even more desperate to run. Last thing they needed was for an act of bravery and them turn to face her.

“You can’t escape my eyes in the forest! ANBU or not, I’ll see everything and everywhere you do and go!”

The one who had ran through the mist seemed to panic and push himself more to run, occasionally peppering Kohana with an array of kunai and shuriken in which she would dodge or, at one point, spin on her heels creating a dome of chakra to block. Meanwhile the one with the files, the coward he was, frantically tried to push himself further as well, right towards the area where Oga had set up his trap…

Well there he sat on his tree awaiting Kohana to do her part of the plan. it was quite picture perfect, images all played out in his head. It was right then when he felt a sudden "BOOM" following up with a major earthquake shaking with enough force causing him to fall of the large tree he sat on. Falling first into the hard soil beneath him.

It must have been the force and power behind her attacks, his female partner. He stood up from his odd position noticing Kohana chasing after a group of men, she had a rare set of techniques but she was able to lower the number of men from the bunch to nothing more then one man running for his life.

He was moving to his trap, moving at quick speeds. The man tripped over the transparent ninja wire. Multiple grenades will fall from a tree above, multiple grenades erupting with such power enough to nearly kill the man. Erupting all in a chain reaction all at the location man fell.

The sound from the explosion was much more louder then Kohana's frontal assault upon the men. Once the cloud of smoke dissipated, he noticed the charred up body of the male on the ground eyes widened and pupils diluted. It seemed as if he lost consciousness.

He noticed Kohana running towards him. He smiled as he raised his hand about shoulder-level with his thumb up. The nice guy pose.

There was only one man left to follow, and he was running straight for the trap laid by Oga. Three. Two. One. BOOM. There was the explosion she was looking for. Perhaps it was a tad excessive, but that’s alright. When the explosions were finally done, she hurried over to the man’s body to assess the damage. He was rather burnt, so with a sigh she held her hands over him as a green glow emitted from them, only slightly healing him to the extent that the burns wouldn’t get infected and kill him while they continued their mission.

“Well, glad that part is over. Only downfall is that the target probably heard all the explosions…”

Kohana shrugged, choosing to ignore the silly pose her partner put on. After all, it was time to get down to business. However, she did offer a smile, a genuine one, to at least show that she was satisfied with his efforts and what he had done. Briefly, Kohana glanced around, though noted that the plans he had with him were incinerated with the previous blast. Again, that was a plus for them.

Alright, now let’s see if we have any company…

Her eyes refocused while the veins at her temple bulged and twitched. The Hyuuga looked through the trees, her blank eyes taking in every detail and every fleck of chakra that she could see. That’s when she saw it, in the distance, but close enough to be able to see what happened to his mean.

“Hah. Well now, looks like we have company Oga. What do you say we chase him down, huh? I’m sure he’s just eager to play…”

She cracked her knuckles, that malicious looking expression from before taking over her face once more. Kohana was an animal, a threat to be reckoned with. That’s what was the difference between Genin and Chuunin from the Jounin.

Twisted expression in place, she took off into the forest, the clear signs of chakra beginning to pull into her fists evident. Whether it was for the Gentle Fist techniques, or for her super chakra enhanced strength, either one would be enough to pulverize anything in her path to their target. A target who was now running for his life back to whatever hideout that he had in forest. One that, as he was running, he phased out of existence it seemed, disappearing using the talents he most likely trained in while in the ANBU.

“Oga! Keep on your guard. He’s disappeared from my Byakugan, most likely using some kind of ANBU trick.”

Things were getting serious

It looked like Kohana was becoming more of an equal, and began to act like one as well. It was nothing more then seeing her smile, it made him chuckle himself. The moment he was feeling happy he heard Kohana's comment of the original foe to have actually heard them. It was possible, actually it was true.

Activating her Byakugan, the bulging veins popping out of her face caused him to face the other way, he still wasn't used to them. She began scanning the area for any signs of Shinobi attempting to rebel against the Hokage.

She found someone in an instant, her ability never ceased to amaze the Genin. Though right as she grinned and cracked her fists she lost sight of the ninja rebel. He was somehow using a trick to deceive her Byakugan, meaning he was a skilled Shinobi of the arts.

She yelled for him to be prepared, which he was as he put his hand into his pouch gripping one of his kunai. He noticed a figure not so far away moving quickly in blurs, his eyes were having trouble catching his speed, hopefully Kohana would help. Hurling multiple kunai at the rebel in hopes of catching him off guard. With that he would flip back until a safe distance to think of his next plan.

Oga's kunai sliced through the air but never hit their mark. However, in that instant that the younger shinobi's kunai missed, Kohana picked up their target's chakra signal, though briefly and the direction he was headed. Pulling some senbon from her pouch, she slung them ahead to where the chakra signal would have been going before he disappeared from her view again.

The sound of a man grunting and then tree branches snapping were enough to indicate he had been hit. With a smile she motioned back to Oga, waving her hand and pointing down so the two of them could go and converge in on their opponent.

"Flank him and hurl some fire jutsu at him. When he makes a run for it, I'll nail him with some of my taijutsu!"

No more words were said as she split off yet again from her partner. Despite being a Genin, he seemed pretty talented with his fire jutsu so she trusted him to pull this off effectively. If this mission went any more flawlessly, she would perhaps dare to say that he was Chuunin material.

Heh, maybe, just maybe he'll make it. He needs to be a bit more heartless though if he's going survive any further. I'm not his mother nor his team mate so its really none of my business after this mission concludes...

Her idle thoughts dispersed into a more complex thought of how to finish the target off once Oga had lured him out and back into running away with whatever series of fire techniques he could muster. Her chakra enhanced strength of course would be very helpful, but always ran the risk of killing someone too easily.

Gentle Fist it would be then. Simple as that. Shutting down some chakra points here and shutting down some there, poof, instant pile of chakra-less ANBU.

Waiting only slightly ahead of where her eyes could see the spot the ANBU landed, she knelt down, stretching one leg out while having her arms spreads out as well. Once he entered her divination, mission over.
