("As if autumn is faintly creeping upon me,
That sort of scent is lonely to me...")
Upon entering the village, many people would see the young Nara carrying the girl into the village upon his shoulders. Though, he didn't stop to look at them, or answer the questions about what he was doing. He kicked up off of the ground, and leaped onto a nearby stand, and then constantly moved from thing to thing, until he would reach the village rooftops. He surged through the rooftops of the village with his brilliant speed. The paralyzing affect of the girl would soon begin to wear off, letting her return back to full control of her body. The placed he had chosen to stop at was upon the top of his apartment buildings, he gently let her down upon the cold concrete building. Once he placed her down, he moved back and away from her, with his head hanging down, and covering his face from her.
The realization of his actions was setting upon him, that his actions were too rash and hasty. As a shinobi, that type of strategy upon the battlefield could have put him and others in danger, and besides, he didn't know this girl who he was dealing with either. He probably scared her, making her fear that her life was on the line, but the Nara wasn't that type of person. He was fifteen meters away from her, running his fingers though his hair, combing the left side back behind his ear. ("I'm sorry...my name is Uneri..Nara Uneri.") He said in a low and calm tone, not knowing what to do.
He had experienced this feeling before, about four years ago when he had received the large "X" shape scar upon his back. He wondered if it was the same thing, and what was happening to him. It had seemed as if he was losing himself to his inner hate. Though, he seemed to be free of it now, he wasn't completely back to his old, cheerful state. But, rather stuck in a limbo state between the two. ("What's happening to me..? Am I losing myself..?") The Nara had said to himself, within the confines of his head. He would then advert his attention back to the woman again.
("This is how I will assist you..I brought you here into the village to meet the Nidaime Hokage. I was suppose to meet with him here today, to talk. But, I suppose that you can have your little discussion with him first.. I know my method was a bit..harsh, but forgive me if you will. I only meant you help you, while making sure you wasn't dangerous to the village or me.") He couldn't bring himself to make direct eye contact with her, due to his inner conflict within himself, and what was becoming of him. He had the face of a lost person, who was confused about where they were and what they were doing. He stared at the ground infront of her, near her feet.
He had then remembered that she told him about where she was from. Hoshigakure, originally, but moved around a lot and ended up within Kusagakure. It was his home village, he longed for returning home, but wasn't something that he could just do so easily. He didn't want to betray Konohagakure or just leave them - since they had done so much for him over the last, almost nine years. He lived the country, the village, and the people within it.
They all reminded him of Kusa no Kuni and Kusagakure, thought things were slightly different, environment-wise. ("Kusagakure was my original home..I lost everything that I had loved, almost about nine years ago. I didn't know that the village was being rebuilt and constructed after all these years.. Hmph, I haven't even tried to help it...And, I claim to love it so much..") Depression and sadness had clouded his mind, as he began to have flashbacks of his early years in Kusagakure, all the way up into the end of the war.
This woman had seemed to also experienced the same thing, he thought maybe that was why she was so emotionless. And, right now, he just seemed to be down and out of it. What was he to do with himself? He had promised himself that he wouldn't be one of those people who was a complete and total downer. But, reality hits you hard, and you can only be so strong for so long, and so naive even shorter than that. He had wondered what had ran throughout the woman's mind as he spoke.
