Similar to last time, she swiftly went to work on gathering certain plants and such. He’d stay closer this time, assisting even more in the collecting of the herbs. As they traveled along the outskirts of Konoha, she began to pick up a various amount of things he’d never seen before. There were large abundances of the needed ingredients all throughout Hi no Kuni, even within a mile of the village. They’d brought an even bigger basket this time, and were out for a while.

Once finished, he’d carry the ingredients and escort the lady back into town. They’d take the back roads this time, to avoid traffic and the risk of any herbs spilling out. It wasn’t long before they arrived; he’d give her the basket and wave in a final goodbye before recording another mission success. Morning was nearing its end as he made his way back into the Hyūga complex; he entered in the company of a smile, satisfied with the job he’d done today.

Haru stumbled through the hallway, clothes half on, moving as fast as he could to the door. He woke up a little late, and now had about 5 minutes to get to the hospital. His job was easy enough, being late was something he couldn’t do. He’d finally managed to get out of the door with four minutes left, and would then sprint to his destination. It was quite a spectacle as he ran through the crowded streets so early in the morning.

He ignored the laughs and simply focused on getting there on time; two minutes passed before he finally arrived. He had a few moments to spare, and took the time to adjust his clothes and gather himself. He could be seen wearing his usual slender, collared black jacket, slim black pants, and low-cut black nin-sandals; a katana stapped diagonally along his back, and a small hitae-ate was fastened to his left upper-arm.

He’d give a hollow smile at Ms. Megume before setting off, on their way out of Konoha to get more ingredients. He seemed to be nice, but in reality was only using this task to get easy ryo, and so that he had something to do for the miniscule amount of time he had left in Konoha. They went through the empty side roads rather that the main one; it was longer, but they didn’t have to worry about running into anyone.

Before long, they’d reach the gates and make their way out into the large expanse ahead of them. This time they needed to travel further out than they had previously, because there was a certain herb that only grew deep within the forest. He’d simply follow the woman, making sure to stay very close in the case that an animal came out. As they entered the forest, he’d activate his Byakugan to aid Ms. Megume in her search.

He eventually spotted the colorful plants somewhere deep within the forest, and would proceed by leading her to it. His eyes watching everything around them, and would react swiftly were anything to happen. To his luck, nothing did, and they soon had the ingredient in the basket. He’d escort her back out, and they’d make the short journey back into the village. It truly was an easy job, one that he’d actually enjoyed.

After dropping her and the ingredients off, he’d again record the mission complete. Haru would wave to the nurse in goodbye, and then set off toward the Hyūga dojo. He’d agreed to a spar with some of his fellow clan members with all the free time he now had. Though, in the back of his mind he knew he needed to hurry and plan his escape. Lately he’d been lazing around, and hadn’t tried to figure out exactly when, or where he’d go.
