May stood in front of what looked like a house that was attacked by a hurricane. There was only one standing wall, and debris everywhere. It hurt to look at.
The sun was shining down on May's bare shoulders, the warmth sinking into her body. She wore a loose fitting, plain white tank top and her usual navy capris. A breeze rolled by and May had to turn her head to avoid getting dirt in her face. This, was mission number two.
Her mission was to help rebuild a house that was damaged during the recent chaos. She was up for the challenge and wasn't expecting much. She just knew it would probably be a long day. There were several other houses down the street from her, all looking massively damaged. At every house there was a few smiling people, building what used to be someone's home.
At the house in front of her, a young man and woman stood facing away from her, both pounding nails into a large piece of wood. "Excuse me? I'm here to help. I was sent by the Hokage." The man was the one who turned around. He stood silently while studying her, only to shrug and reply. "Alright, I guess I could do something with you." He nodded to himself and glanced around, leaving May to start her awkward habit. Right, left, right, left. She shifter her weight back and forth. "Can you lift things?" That made May stop for a moment, thought, and then replied with a tedious tone. "Well. . of coarse. What type of ninja would I be if I couldn't lift things?" The man nodded, his husky voice spoke again. "Alright. See those pieces of wood over there? The man lifted his dirty finger and May fallowed it with her eyes. There was a pile of wood that didn't seem exactly new, it was splintered and cracked and various places. "We don't need those pieces. If you could get rid of them for us it would make our day a lot shorter." Once again May's mission wasn't what it was supposed to be, but the client needed to be satisfied and thus, they will. "Okay." She nodded and began to make her way the the pile.
The closer she got, the larger the pile seemed to get. And when she was right up close it was obvious why they didn't want to do her job. The wood was a murky brown color, and it reeked or mold. May choked for a second before bringing her hand to her face. "Oh my god, that's disgusting." She had to step back to keep from gagging. I have to move these? The thought made her shiver. The faster you get started the faster you get to go home. May nodded to herself, it was right. She just had to do it and then the mission would be over. "Okay." She said to herself. "Let's do this."
