They entered in rank and file, a discipline in their feet that matched their overall attitude. Stoic and without care, they strode the destroyed Leaf village as if it was a home of their own. At first, the survivors of the Great War knew not who these men, but with enough observation, all was revealed - the Daimyou's guards, as well as several of the 12 Temple Guardians. Not only had they survived the chaos, but it seemed they arrived with intent. They stood where the Hokage HQ once did, and once a large scroll was unfurled, the voice of one broke the tense, dead silence.

"HEAR YEEEEE, HEAR YEEEE!"

"I, YIRAOU, BRING WORD FROM THE RULER OF THE LANDS, THE DAIMYOU OF HI NO KUNI HIMSELF!"

Greetings to all surviving Konohagakure Shinobi,

First off, I commend your acts throughout this war. Though defeated, so was the whole world; at this point, it is your survival that has earned you victory. So feel proud, and prepare to carry on the seed to the next generation!

However, I must bring you grim news despite the current climate. I have seen you shinobi operate, and have concluded you have all failed to realize what the Six Path Sage's intentions were. As a result, evil rules you, corrupting your heart and leading to further evil. Therefore, I intend to disintegrate the entire Hidden Village of the Leaf, integrating the existing members into my military, and expanding my control into one.

Had my elders not advised me further, I would have already done so. However, I will give you all a full thirty days to prove me wrong. Prove to me you are useful to this country. Prove to me you can do more than just destroy.

"Look at thi place..."


Kasuke made reference to not only his surroundings but to the world. "It's not how it used to be..."

His eyes roamed the lands searching for something happy. They were left scarred. Sure there were some people who got back to work in rebuilding a few things but you could easily tell they were as just as bruised emotionally from the war.

Strangely enough, there was a group. A rather large onie where some people payed attention.

Just walk by. Just walk by. his pace increased to a slight jog until he hear the loud call. Curioisty struck Kasuke like a brick wall as he was a Shinobi. A letter waas read commending their efforts but yet saying that they were evil? Thhis was not right! They had it all wrong!

The shy flamboyancy would approach the crowd and the servents of the Daimyo...

"Uhm excuse me"..." He pardoned himself weaving through the crowd.

"Sir? uhm..." He twiddled his fingers shyly looking up at the man who just dubbed them cocky bastards.

"Allow me to help out Sir. Is there any suggestions that the Lord Daimyo have us do in these 30 days?" Kasuke waas more retractive though. Ths man seemed rough and Kasuke was already nervous even makig himself notice.

"I can trust that I am the opposite you think we ninja are..."

Eyes narrowed upon you, Kasuke, the ebony clad Genin, and for a moment, it seemed the attendant which you had inquired had seemingly...ignored you. However, after another figure from behind shuffled over and whispered secrets into his ears, things would change. His face would suddenly twist and contort, the once evil scowl shot at you now replaced with an even eviler grin. As he took a deep breather and prepared to spread, he began to tug at the katana lodged in between his belt. He enjoyed the feeling.

"Why as a matter of fact, yes, there is..."

"As part of the reconstruction, Hi no Kuni aims to return to the top of the information world. In this case, knowing whose relocating where is key..."

All of this thus far was spoken to you in a low whisper. None around could here, and even if anyone did, the few nearby were already aware of the circumstances. As the messenger readjusts his pants, he reaches into his sash and removes a scroll, which is quickly shoved in your hands. His speech then resumes.

"It's a modified World Map. Use this to record the locations of possible new hidden villages. Don't guess - be sure."

"OKAY?!'

His tone suddenly grew gruff as he questioned your certainty. It was best to answer soon.

Ignored. Figures. Kasuke's quiet voice was not the best to grab attention.

He ran his fingers through his styled hair before his attention was bought by someone with a katana and a rather evil grin.

He didn't trust this guy..."Hmm?" He was to retrieve locations of the diffeentt villages on a scroll.

Apparently Hi no Kuni was hoping to be at the top of the information list. But why?

"Uhm, sir...shouldnt we be focusing on helping around? We have 30 days to prove evil hs not struck us." The boy questioned the man's position as he opened up the scroll seeing the world map.
Travelling....it was one of Kaasuke's favorite things to do.

"Are you suggesting we aid the other vilages to prosper?"

Would Kasuke be left in charge this task alone? The shy, flamboyant, who was anything but a leader?

Perhaps it would be easier with just him.

He stood underneath what used to be the overhang of the Ichiraku Ramen Bar he used to love as a young boy. Time has changed and yet another great war has plagues the lands of Hi no Kuni. It looks as though all was lost. The young medic stood with his book open looking at the orator with a growing dislike. He could tell that there was no hope. None what so ever and that the Feudal Lord would not change his mind.

Watching curiously as the man, about his age, walked toward the large man, who gave such a pious speech on behalf of those not present. Shinji wished to know what he though he would accomplish. He persisted toward him in hopes of seeking the truth. He walked behind him and listened to their conversation. Quite openly, it looked as though he had forgotten about his days of training.

Your response triggered a much different response within Yiraou, the sly grin worn quickly lost like the face of mountain during an avalanche. Replaced with it would be a sudden anger, his thick cheeks growing red as his fists balled. Apparently, your answer wasn't quite up to par with good ol' Yi over here. Ohhhhhh boy.

"NOOOOO DUMBASS! I WANT YOU TO TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE SO WE CAN TAKE--"

However, as he exploded before your essence Kasuke, it would be revealed that Shinobi weren't apparently the only ones with evil hearts. Sensing a sudden public upheaval, a man emerged from behind the announcer. Well dressed, the kanji for 'Fire Guardian' lie elegantly displayed vertically across his silk sash. Could it be...!?

"AHEM...I think what my stout fellow here is asking of you, brave shinobi..."

"...is to investigate certain..."international" matters for us, in an effort to preserve peace."

Yiraou was heated now, but in the presence of an apparent superior, he could do nothing but scamper off. A kind face was returned on the strange man's part, his flawless kimono shimmering in the bright Konoha sun. As he neared you, his voice lowered, not in a way of concern over those around him for those around him were actually extremely concerned for him; no, he wished to create a sense of security and trust, eliminating the hostility behind the sudden takeover.

"The Daimyo's position, though extreme, is based off of your people's latest actions. It is only fair. However, in my opinion, there is hope..."

"Allow me to help."

From his sash came a second scroll, replacing the first that bumbling idiot had given you. Eye contact was made briefly with you, Shinji, before he returned to the favor of Kasuke. Should you come over and accept as well, the full details would be revealed.

Kasuke retracted back as the man began to shout only to see someone interrupt his wrath.

The poor boy was left in a feeling of confusion, especially since they were now the current center of attention.

His right hand reached to brush his the right side of his hair shyly as his attention immediately turned to the Fire Guardian. He did not want to have anything do with the forceful man. He did seem rather fishy...

The man was gentle who approached Kasuke, much the opposite of the ugly bafoon. They were going to see international status to help world peace? Perhaps they could help the fellow villagers out. They say one could not befriend everyone but...

He noticed an eye movement of the Fire Guardian to another observing the scene.

Perhaps two, could befriend the world.

Kasuke accepted the scroll and opened it up, being mindful of more details that needed to be explained. No matter what, this scroll would not leave Kasuke's hands. He would take responsibility over it.

The Medical Ninja would look up to the man now about to continue the explanation on what the scroll was.

They were walking a road of redemption.

Shinji was taken by surprise by the would boisterous man who seemed to have very little respect. The orator was soon showed up by a commanding officer a Guardian of Fire. A pleasant, kind man who new how too treat his honored guests. Shinji demanded attention and pleasantness. The Medical nin was being talked to aside from the goings on of the busy street. He took in his hand the scroll. Given to him by the Guardian.

He looked over his shoulder as the other Ninja of Konohoa touched at his hair. Not another one of those guys, he thought to himself as he watched.
The mans dark hair glistened in the heat of it all.

I accept. Shinji said confidently to the man. Shinji's eyes gleamed.

She internalized her anger, approaching whom she assumed to be the chief fire guardian, considering he had taken over the speaking role. She did not speak at all, and scarcely made a noise as she moved.

It all happened in the blink of an eye, the sudden impulse to lash out coming forth like a back-draft, an explosion, and a gunshot all at once. The first one to move came straight at the gathering group, while the other two shot forward and to the side. Although their actions were confusing at first, it'd be painfully obvious - an attack had commenced! It was three Konohagakure shinobi, each of minimal Chuunin rank, suddenly springing forth seeking blood. The lead proceeded with a long katana, while his partners carried smaller bladed variations; alas, the Three Swordsmen of the Leaf had come alive! Although their reason for a call to violence was unknown, being a rather conservative group, the fact they had done so meant something serious had motivated them.

"WE REFUSE TO SELL OUR HOME OUT."

"DIE, YOU WORTHLESS INVADING DOGS!!!"

The lead swordsmen spoke with fury, and as he moved with impressive speed, he'd be but a few feet from Yiraou. The blubbering fool tried to speak and react, but in the blink of an eye he fell, a greater blade cleaving his chest open in two. Now, as his body descended slowly and a crimson mist showered on the other guards nearby, the true warriors within the area began to allow their hands to rest on their weapons - the Guardians of Fire would not take this infraction lightly.

"YOU! SELLOUTS!!!"

"EITHER HELP US KILL THIS SCUM, OR DIE BY OUR BLADE JUST THE SAME AS THE INVADERS!!!"

The swordsman's threat was obvious. He was 10 meters away from you gathering shinobi and the lone Fire Guardian which had just given you a mission, and while surely you'd feel tense to react, the man before was not. Instead, he chose to ignore the rushing Swordsman, instead letting his eyes rest on you all; with his arm extending the mission, he had nowhere to go. Instead, he seemed like he too was testing you - do you help him, or do you help them? You had but a few seconds to choose, and which each one lost, it seemed his smile grew larger and larger.

The other two close in on your location, 10 meters east and west. The time to act was now, Konohagakure shinobi!

Kaname slowly stepped into the scenery watching as all chaos ensued. The three swordsman of the leaf had not taken to kindly to the threats posed by the Feudal Lord and his soldiers. But evidently they had not thought things through. Konohagakure no Sato had been built to protect the Fire Country as a whole, or at least that was his strong belief. To oppose them would be to oppose them would be to oppose the one you had been protecting, he could not allow that. If he were considered an invader for helping out his feudal lords then so be it, he was an invader. Kaname stepped out from the crowd and spoke out loud about his clear cut decision. "I fear that my reply will not please you. If I must die by the blade of your hands then so be it, but I'll die fighting." Kaname claimed, pulling out his own blade, he wasn't skilled with the weapon but he didn't intend on using it for a great deal of time. You could say it was simply for show, maybe if the amount of warriors that stood against these three swordsman grew then they'd forget their pointless assault and surrender. "Furthermore, by commencing this needless assault you are risking the death of our own people, you are pointlessly causing trouble for no reason." He continued speaking, doing his best which wasn't much, to convince them to end their assault!

The large crowd was approached by Oiroh, who had heard the ruckus stirring from nearby where he had been meditating about the current state of the world. Quickly working his way through the crowd of people, he could hear the conversations going on around him, and quickly gathered information on what on earth was conspiring there. The more he heard, the more puzzled and concerned his face had become.
As he reached the front of the crowd, he could view the full situation playing out in front of him. A Genin around his age had just released his rather large weapon, which caused Oiroh to heighten his guard out of instinct. The shinobi was attempting to convince the swordsmen around him that the assault of their fellow man was useless. Oiroh couldn't help but agree with this notion. But from focusing more on the stranger Genin, he had not noticed that the swordsmen were coming towards not only the stranger in the kimono but also the sword-wielding Genin. He had to act quickly. As much as he disliked it, now was not the time to think for too long.
He raced to the Genin's side, holding his iron staff in both hands and bracing himself. "I may not know the full situation, but I'm not going to stand here while my village is destroying itself. Whatever that man has in store could hold the key to restoring this place. I'll assist you in any way I can, Stranger."Oiroh finally spoke to the fellow Genin. His eyes were focused and strong.

The sky cleared as many more ninja appeared, surrounding the four genin in the crowd and Shinji with the Fire Guardian. Shinji was taken aback at the sight of three Konohoa genin with blades drawn towards the Fire Guardians, How could once noble people be driven towards hate and anger at their higher ups. He stood within a yard of the puzzled Guardian. "I shall not leave your side." Shinji said with confidence "You have my word."

A trio of Chuunin found much lacking in the Daimyou's lapdog's proposal, declaring their hostilities in a shower of blood - one man fell dead, and they made their status known - either fight with us, or against us. The most crass of the guards - his name escaped her - fell beneath their blade, prompting Fire Guardians to prepare for battle. She found herself in position to do a lot of damage, standing in the midst of the Konoha shinobi, just a few feet to the right of the Fire Guardian.

"You would condemn your comrades to death for the sake of these men?" Her voice was quiet, as if she spoke only to herself. "They came here to make one last use of us before the destroyed us... by siding with them, your lives are forfeit."

She shifted slightly, widening her feet almost imperceptibly. Anger lessened to give way to excitement, as adrenaline began pumping through her veins. "You are within range of my Hakke..."

She attacked the Fire Guardian without warning in a blazing display of artful combat, fingers jumping and jabbing at near untraceable speeds. Each touch was gentle and sweet, but with a subtle application of chakra imbued into each strike, what appeared gentle became quite ferocious.

If these are all that remain of our Konoha Shinobi... then our village will not last long...

Special: Seals off the victim's chakra for the rest of the thread. Moves around the Hakke to strike at near-shunshin speeds.
Description: The second level of Hakke strikes involves doubling the previous 32, although with a few notable differences - Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a special technique passed down through the main family line only. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. Like with the previous 32, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forceably closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent, thus limiting their opponent's ability to use jutsu much greater than ever.

Everything happened so fast.

A group of three came into the picture wanting to pretty much kill the Guardian of Fire. These guys had answers though.

Once swords were drawn, Kasuke would tuck the scroll in his belt and step back a bit.

The boy was frightened, submissive and had frozen up. A few more entereed the picture.

The blood showered against the crowd from the annoying assistant and a battle would begin.

The boy from before and two new guys came rushing to the aid of th Fire Guardian.

One however chose not to.

It was almost as if time froze for Kasuke. He saw his decisions....Can't he just run?

Run away and forget this ever happened. Back into the illusions of happiness where there was no need to watch your back. Where you could be baking a pie and fellow villager would stop to enjoy such sweet scents. That special warming scent where you feel protected and safe.

But it could only and will only ever be an illusion. It would not be the real deal.

Kasuke awakened from his time freeze and did not like the looks of the Hyuuga. Fear had brought him to do this. He was sstanding right beside the Fire Guardian when the Hyuuga spoke.

"NO!" Kasuke shouted as his right hand pushed the Fire Guardian for safety. Even if he got hit once or twice, the push would move him suddenly hoping for safety.

Now he put himsef in danger, his foot was brought up to hit the weakspot of the Hyuuga stance. The knees stuck out as his kick was a quick one raising up to pound against her knee to shatter it, interrupting her dance of Chakra-removal. [attempt]

Finishing his movements he would fall back targetting the hyuuga as he yelped. "Help me...." He called out worriedly.

kasuke was more of a defensive subbmissive type and was ready to run. He just needed the Guardian of Fire alive.

Chakra raced through his body to protect Kasuke. The Hyuuga was probably more pissed at Kasuke.

"Help..." His voice grew quieter as his hands would begin to change colour. His chakra was almost a guardian to him. Protectiing him and answering Kasuke's plea of help.

Palms now glowed a bright blue. Any Medic would recognize this technique to be the Chakra Scalpel, as the Flamboyant Predator now chose these as his weapons. The Hyuuga and Medic proved dangeerous to each other.

One could close off the chakra, the other could make the other completely unable to move.

After forming the needed handseals, the medic will focus chakra to their hands, creating a distinct, colored hue of chakra. When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Damage can still be done to the vital organs, but the technique should be used carefully in battle. Developed for surgery, it has since taken a unique aspect in battle.
