[The Dude]

The rising sun gleamed across the rolling waves of the ocean bringing life to countless red twinkles off the surface. Gulls sang out eager and happy as they gently glided on the gentle winds of the sea. Indeed, the day would seem to be a slice of paradise in this small overlooked corner of Mizu no Kuni's empire.

But to anyone who happened to be passing by, there would be something strangely off about the scene. A quiet sound without definition could be heard nearly every ten to twenty seconds. With all the serenity of this rare moment in time most might selectively block out the sound and accept ignorance as bliss reveling in the moment. Those who could not turn a blind eye to the mysteries of the world, might listen harder and more selectively to the sound.

Should someone attempt to seek out this unidentifiable noise they would soon find themselves walking the seldom traveled path down to the beach. As they draw closer to the shore the sound becomes a little louder and recognizable as some sort of moaning coupled with short whimpers.
