Situated comfortably at the center of the island is a blue, translucent sphere of raw chakra that is seemingly filled with liquid. The closer than you stare into it, the more you'll be able to see the monstrous facade of the beast this energy represents - the Sanbi, itself.
The heart of the island is riddled with vegetation of all sorts: trees; shrubs; bushes; vines and moss. The clearing you find yourself in is roughly thirty meters in all directions (from the sphere), with the woods you traveled through to get here adding an additional fifty meters of territory.
The two of you are roughly sixty meters away, with the sphere of chakra in the middle (30 meters). Though you don't know it, any and all chakra that comes in contact with the sphere will instantly be assimilated. Strangely enough, passing through the spherical prison merely warps you (instantly) to the other, corresponding side (this means that if you stuck a blade in the right side of the sphere, it's end would come out on the other side).
Notice: Tyro posts first. He has 72 hours to post his introduction or he will forfeit the match. This event will take place using the standard battle rules implemented here on NRP. However, this is completely canonical. Anything and everything that happens to your character in this event is final. If you lose a leg, you'd better get ready to learn how to hop around. if you die? Well, you're dead.
That being said, any decisions your character makes in this event will more than likely come back to them in one shape or another. If you betray your teammate at the end? Chances are you'll be considered a wanted shinobi by your village. If you kill a shinobi from an opposing village? I'm sure there might be some reprecautions, there, as well.
Simply because this is a combat-enabled event does not mean that any of you have to fight. If you wish to talk, go for it, and unit against the Sanbi. However, if you're more concerned about your village than someone else's-- do the damn thing. It's entirely up to you - real decisions, and real consequences.
All participants must adhere to a 24 hour posting window after their entrance (and a posting order has been established). We will not be lenient on this matter, and failure to post in the allotted amount of time will result in an immediate disqualification. Any damage that would have been taken shall be, and the results will be canon as well. There will be no extensions given on this posting order - no exceptions, no matter who you are (this includes you, staff).
It goes without saying that disagreements need to be settled civilly. Resorting to any form of name-calling or shit-throwing will result in an immediate disqualification. This includes comments in the Cbox, as well. Furthermore, any form of OOC posting in this thread will result in an immediate disqualification as well; there is an OOC thread for that. With that in mind, my verdict on any situation is final. In situations where I cannot judge, the battle moderators' verdict on the situation is final. So, make sure you get everything you have to say about the subject out before the verdict is given. The less information you give us, the less we have to go on when we render our verdict.
You will not be allowed to pass through from the North thread to the South thread. Exiting either of these threads, at any time, will result in you being unable to re-enter. Presuming the numbers are unbalanced (i.e North has 20 people and South has 5), I will relocate people before the fighting gets started (i.e before the sound round of posting, after everyone has posted their introduction).
The closest to the center you can be in your introductory post is one mile. You can not enter either thread with any jutsu pre-prepped or any active attacks. Enter first, and then do your business. You can enter the thread with any weapons that you're able to carry, though.
