[The Dude]

MURDER IN KAWATONTON!

NINJA NEEDED: 1-3
MISSION INFO: A TEENAGE GIRL WAS BRUTALLY MURDER KAWATONTON, A TOWN JUST NORTH OF KIRIGAKURE. A SECOND WAS BRUTALIZED, BUT ESCAPED DEATH. FIND THE KILLER AND GIVE HIM A DOSE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE.

Takumi strolled through the small gateway of the town with a beaming smile and a spring in his step. The mission today had in in an unusually good mood. Not that the attack on innocent girls was good news, but it was a mission where Kiri's shinobi were defending the people rather than oppressing them. Being on the side of the people rather than massacring them was going to be a great change of pace for the young shinobi. If he had to go and destroy more innocent lives so soon there were strong chances his mental faculties were simply going to breakdown.

The first step in this mission was to find the surviving girl, question her on the details of the attacks and hopefully use the intel to find the culprit. After all, picking out the proper maniac who was attacking innocent civilians wasn't going to be easy. Finding maniacs in Mizu no Kuni was like trying to find a needle in a haystack, the country just seemed to attract the violent and criminally insane. It was the shinobi of kiri who would weed them out from the rest and ensure a somewhat peaceful existence for their citizens.

Takumi weaved his way through the town towards the center where he sought out the city hall. Pushing open the doors and approaching the counter without a word he fixed the cute receptionist with a chilling stare. Tapping the head guard on his forehead to show where he came from and that he was on business he began talking without emotion.

"I'm here to track down and punish the roaming maniac who attacked those girls. I'll need the location of the survivor and for you to not say a word to anyone about me being in town. If the man gets away because he knows I'm in town, I'll just take your head back with me in place of his."

"She's in the hospital right now, it's just across the street."

The woman was calm and relaxed so obviously this had not been her first time dealing with Kirigakure shinobi. She seemed to have the sense to do as she was told without fear and keep her head down, one of the better adjusted citizens of Mizu no Kuni no doubt. Takumi flashed a smile hidden under his mask as he bowed his head in thanks to her before pivoting on his heel and walking back out the way he came.

Slipping out onto the street attempting to stay low in the crowded foot traffic to avoid too much attention proved easy with Takumi's short stature. He moved with the flow of the traffic left and right across the street until he had crossed. Springing up the staircase lightly and quickly before slipping in through the door at the top, Takumi entered subtly. Once again he approached the front desk tapping his head guard lightly at the receptionist.

"Where's the girl?"

The receptionist smiled politely at the young shinobi but her eyes reflected fear. Her face was the perfect image of someone who was stressed and under the gun to work hard at whatever it was that she did. She gave a polite nod before standing and rubbing her eyes tiredly and showing Takumi down the hallway without a word. Arriving at any ordinary door the girl gestured towards it as her voice cracked weakly.

"She's just in there... don't stress her too much shinobi."

Takumi opened the door quietly without knocking looking in at the poor girl in the bed. She was sleeping just now but that would change soon when the questions began. He couldn't wait for her to wake up on her own in case the murderer was still out stalking unsuspecting victims. This had to be dealt with quickly and quietly so as not to reduce moral of the citizens.

He stepped quietly through the door way approaching the bed to wake her. He had taken no more than two steps when her heard the door behind him slam shut and the sound of locks turning. He spun around to verify the door had been shut on him as outrageous as it seemed. Who the fuck did this woman think she was to slam and lock a door on a Kiri shinobi.

"Open this door right now before I have to kill you!"

"Oh I didn't hear you come in."

Before Takumi could turn to see who the voice belonged too something blunt and hard struck him in the back of the head smashing his face into the door. The Aburame slumped forward falling down against the door unconscious and unaware of what had just happened to him. The man who had struck him with a chair stood over him smiling wickedly as the girl in the bed awoke to the scene and began sobbing.

When next Takumi awoke his back was propped against the door he had gotten to know intimately with his face. His hands were bound behind his back and all his weapons were across the room at the feet of a twisted looking fellow with yellow teeth and a crooked smile. The situation looked grim but the shinobi was never without some form of weapon, even now the kikai within his body crawled out from his wrists and crept around the room in multiple directions staying in the shadows.

"I've been waiting for you shinobi. The first victim was all fun and sport, but halfway through my handiwork on this lovely girl I realized that it wouldn't be long before Kiri set a trap for me so I decided to be a step ahead in the game. I left her alive and told the authorities of my latest victim. They rushed her to the hospital and I've seen been waiting here for you. You didn't honestly think a little girl could escape a murderer did you?"

The man leaned over the bed pinching the little girl's cheek forcefully with a disgusting smile on his face. He released her cheek and ran a hand over her fresh scars and wounds breathing heavily with some twisted passion for his own work. It wasn't hard for Takumi to label the man as mentally unstable... even more so than he himself. How long had the shinobi been unconscious?

"I must admit I didn't even realize you were in town yet looking for me. I almost dismissed the plan altogether and killer her here for the rush, but then lo and behold you arrive long suspected and still undetected. Very subtle indeed."

Takumi's head was throbbing with pain as he gritted his teeth listening to the man and his false sense of worth. His kikai were now creeping up onto the man's shoes and legs one by one slowly positioning themselves as they began to drain his chakra quietly but it was taking too long. Takumi couldn't imagine the man would take long to kill both the girl and him now that he had his prize.

"You see, I'm setting an example and sending a message to your village. Don't look down on us normal people, your inflated egos have lead your right into my trap. You should never underestimate an unidentified enemy, you never know when it's going to be your end."

The man leaned further over the bed looking down at the girl as she whimpered in fear. He held a needle to her throat as he leaned down pursing his lips delicately and breathing even heavier. This had to be stopped soon before he killed the girl in his sick games, after all once he was done with the girl there was no telling what he'd do to Takumi. The Aburame did not appreciate the idea of kissing this freak...

Though his hands were bound behind his back Takumi still formed hand seals quickly as he took a deep breath before belching forth purple fumes that flowed across the room to the bed. The man paused just before the kiss as he smelt the strange odor and was in the middle of turning to face the source before he fell over to the ground from the paralysis.

Takumi leaned back against the door and used it as support to stand up carefully before making his way across the room and kicking his blade from the man's hand. Kikai flowed freely from Takumi's ankles enveloping the man while a small group of the bugs lifted his kodachi off of the floor and using it to cut through the bindings that restrained the shinobi.

As the ropes fell away from Takumi he immediately began rubbing blood back into his sore wrists. While Takumi inspected his head wound tenderly feeling the back and front of his head where the chair and door had connected, a small group of the kikai flew to the door crawling into the lock. After a moment of waiting there was a soft click and without hesitation Takumi ran towards the door before kicking it open forcefully and sprinting down the halls to the receptionist deck where the girl who greeted him was sitting.

Her eyes glanced up to him and immediately the fear that should have been there before swept across her face. Takumi didn't have time to cope with her excuses and her betrayal. If he was quick he could not only kill the man but also save the girl before it was too late.

"Get a basin of water and bring it to her room now, I don't have time to find it myself. If you're not back in that room with a basin of water, I'll skip looking for water and start looking for you!"

Takumi didn't bother to wait he spun back around and sprinted back down the halls to the girl's room. He didn't have time to waste, the paralysis of the gas would soon wear off and he couldn't let the man get away. When he came to a skidding halt the man was still on the floor with kikai completely covering him and draining him of all his chakra still.

Description: Ninpou: Doku Kiri is an advanced Medical Ninjutsu technique utilized by skilled medics. After the needed handseals, the medic inhales briefly before expelling poision gas from their mouth at high speeds. This poison serves as a very potent paralytic, with the duration of the paralysis depending on rank learned. This can serve as cover to escape and as an offensive technique against her opponent, or as a trap when luring opponents your way.

Takumi picked up his weapons from the floor, strapping miscellaneous pouches and sheathes onto his body. As soon as he was properly strapped with his equipment, the woman came bustling into the room with a basin of water and very frightened. Her eyes swept across the room taking in the whole scene with a strange sense of horror.

"What did you do?!"

"Shut up and change your tone."

Takumi placed his hands over the basin and lifted them trailing a gentle bubble of water up and through the air to hold it levitating over the girl in the bed. Maintaining the levitating bubble with one hand, the shinobi used his spare hand to prop her mouth open. The water slithered into her mouth and Takumi ran his hands through the air over the girl's body as the water rapidly ran through her body absorbing the toxins from the cloud. The technique was only meant for paralysis but it could prove fatal to someone in her condition. Pulling the liquid out from her mouth it was now stained purple from the poison before he returned it to the basin.

Taking the basin from the woman he set it on the ground before standing back up and and quickly driving a needle through her neck leaving her to fall to the ground and die. He then took another need and leaned over the man on the floor before driving needle through his neck as well. The remained on the ground crying and whimpering as the bled out. Takumi walked back to the bed lifting the blanket over the girl again to cover her before turning around and leaving the room. He left the village and returned home to turn in the mission and nurse his head.

The ninja will infuse their chakra into liquid bubble, which they will insert into the patient. They will then use the liquid as a medium to draw out the poison from the cells. This mix can then be removed from the body. Depending on the deadliness of the poison, further treatment with an antidote or medicine may be required.
