Mission info: A group of miscreants and deviants have settled into the outskirts of the Western Zone of the village. Eight in number, the gang has left behind a string of robberies and murders in the small towns that have begun to spring up across the country. They are far from shinobi - they are, in fact, hardly as skilled as an academy beginner. Deal with them.

The only reason she calls this place home and helps around is because this is where her clan decided to root down. If it wasn’t for that, this place would have no meaning to her. She sat down on the roof tops of some building keeping an eye out for any disturbance as well as keeping her radio on hand to make sure that she could spring the moment she heard what she was looking for. It was looking like it was going to be another slow day… And as always, Hanzo wasn’t going to make this any easier on her. She just hoped that he didn’t go overboard with this mission. He picked it because he wanted to fight. Ahri got stuck with him because apparently she’s the only one who he can work with without him intentionally trying to kill. Something about their strange friendship just worked, despite all the fighting and ridiculous bickering… ‘Where the in the name of all that is punctual and decent is he?!’ she thought to herself. At least if he was going to pick the mission and participate, he might as well be there on the roof top with her keeping an eye out. Knowing him, he was probably waking up from some massive hang over he probably deserved by drinking way too much. Laughter erupted a massive shark like male, who had a few shinobi huddled around him laughing and joking around. A bottle of sake and glasses littered the table. Hanzo was completely disregarding the fact that he was in fact an hour late for the rendezvous set up by his closest friend and partner, Nara Ahri. Hanzo downed another shot and finally got to his feet. "Sorry you guys I kinda have to go but I'll be back and we'll see who's the pussy who can't hold his liquor." Hanzo knew exactly what he was going to tell Ahri when he finally shows up, his usual regular excuse or perhaps he could take her on a long winded story that makes no sense and perhaps she will be amused enough to let him off the hook, but amusing Ahri was quite the feat. After all what was a better way to deal with a nasty hangover then to get drunk to numb the pain out before going on a mission.

With that Hanzo made his way out of the brothel and shaking off the effects of the alcohol made his way down the street towards the designated location where he and Ahri had planned to meet. Hanzo was strutting down the streets, with a massive toothy, psychotic grin etched on his face. There was nothing more satisfactory for Hanzo than two things in life, bloodshed and violence and alcohol. The massive shark took a quick turn and walked down an alley, scanning the area. Knowing his sense of direction , this was going to take quite a while.

For a shark, generally Hanzo would just sniff out the blood and just follow that, but if he had to follow directions he was absolutely useless and Ahri knew that for a fact and yet she still let him go off on his own knowing that it might take him quite a while to find the actual location. What did assist Hanzo was his naturally enhanced eyesight and with that he could spot things out from 20 meters away. However doing what he does best, randomly wandering around, he finally spotted Ahri perched on one of the nearby rooftops, a wide grin etched on his face he quickly and stealthily made his way towards her.

"Your guard is completely open Ahri-chan, give me one good reason I shouldn't fucking kill you right now?" Hanzo's white eyes shone with sheer malice, his razor sharp teeth bearing., his massive broadsword's blade around her neck. Hanzo was the epitome of what a bloodthirsty animal is, he is almost turned on by the sight and smell of blood that works him in a frenzy.

On several occasions Hanzo wondered why did he not kill the Nara girl ages ago if she annoyed him that much? However his thoughts always revert back to the academy days and how their bond had been formed ever since. Besides she was one of the very few that could keep up with Hanzo without being a hindrance, they could be seen as the perfect pair, Hanzo is the brawn whilst Ahri was the brain in this relationship. Hanzo was by far not an idiot however he much rather rely on his clan's natural brute force. However sharks are hunters and predators, these traits he too acquired, he was conniving and manipulative which served his sadistic tendencies perfectly as he toys with his prey.

Hanzo grinned at Ahri and settled down, "Sorry I'm late I got lost on the path of life... You see I saw this kitty and she was stuck in this tree and this old lady see.... Ya she wanted me to save her kitty and stuff... So I climbed up to get her and then the old lady turned out to be a witch ya?... So we had this epic battle Ahri you should've seen me..." He knew at this point she would interrupt him.

What Hanzo failed to notice is that she always had a backup plan...  In fact, she already had a trap laid out specially for him... She had placed several large rods the night before so that the shadows cast on the roof would cover a vast area. He was standing in the shadows. In an instant her hands formed the proper seal. "Kage Nui (Shadow Sewing)" From all the shadows, tendrils of darkness emerged and wrapped themselves around Hanzo, from head to toe. Once she realized he got the message about messing with her, she let him go. "Can we please focus on the task at hand? I hate getting off task." and it was true... She really really REALLY hated getting off task . "So explain? Why are you late?" And that's when she got the most bullshit excuse ever! "Enough! One, that's all bullshit. Two, you smell like hookers and booze. I knew you were coming from miles. Three, I do not appreciate you being late. Next time, try to come earlier." She knew the last statement was pointless, but she had to say it, because if she didn't, she would have probably would have put him in a  Kubi Shibari no Jutsu (Shadow Neck Bind Technique)... "Just focus..." Again, she really really REALLY hated getting off task. It aggravated her to the point that she had to restrain herself from killing people who never stayed on track... Hanzo let out a roaring animalistic laugh at her first comment. As Hanzo was beginning to settle down, he was suddenly bound by his partner's shadow jutsu. Hanzo gritted his razor sharp teeth as he was bound. A moment or so and he was released, Hanzo cracked his neck and gave Ahri a death glare and looked on using his natural enhanced eyesight awaiting the bandits to appear. Hanzo seated himself by his partner and silently waited, the wait was killing him, he wanted to shed blood and he wanted it done now.

Soon enough Hanzo's wished came true, he had spotted their targets. Eight thugs all in all, 4 for each of them supposedly, however Hanzo was not going to allow such a thing to occur he was going to go down there and butcher as much of them as he possibly could in one blow. "Suppertime Ahri try not to get in my way alright?"

Hanzo quickly began to form a long string of hand seals, soon enough a flood erupted down below, the water rising high enough that most of the houses were submerged underwater. Hanzo then waved his massive fingers at Ahri in a teasing manner and then dove into the icy water. From down below he could see them looking around, searching for the source of this flash flood. Hanzo's eyes glinted with sheer malice as he unsheathed his broadsword off his back and began to swim up towards them at an extremely rapid pace.

Hanzo dove upwards, the blade of his broadsword rising from the water like a shark's fin. Hanzo swam in a zigzag manner towards them and out of nowhere he dove out of the water a massive grin etched on his face as he swung his massive broadsword at the closest to him, attempting to cleave as many of them as he possibly could. Hanzo knew well that this fight needed to end fast as the sun was very close to coming overhead, which would not suit his partner. Thus Hanzo attempted to shove them back so that the sun would be at 60 degrees over them to make things easier for his partner.

Description: The Hoshigaki Clan are very much used to fighting underwater, and in fact feel at home in it. This is why their whole fighting style is based upon flooding the field and then forcing the opponent to fight underwater, where the user will have the advantage. Because of their constant fighting underwater, they've learned how to move and manipulate their own bodies while submerged, making them terribly difficult opponents to match when they're in their element. This ability, once learned, allows the user to fight with grace and ease underwater, to the very point that it seems like they were fighting naturally above it.

Her partner, as always jumps before he thinks. Normally she would have stopped him, but he got results and this wasn’t a fight to the death. In fact, these morons weren’t even worth the time she was spending. As Hanzo made his way through the now flooded streets, she decided to stick to the higher ground, pick off anyone who would be foolish enough to come to the rooftops. She carried with her two of the rods with her, one in each hand. Maybe they might come in handy, maybe they won’t, but it was worth having them around with her. She dashed through the roof tops, keeping an eye on the fight. Hanzo had the right idea, push them, maybe even separate them. The heavy mist that surrounded Kirigakure helped decrease the intensity of the sun, allowing for more shadows to be formed. It was probably the only reason she would stay in Kirigakure. It was always misty and an always cloudy. But despite that, the sun still shined through from time to time, making her life a little bit more complicated than it needed to be. It was then she saw her chance for an attack. One of them decided to stray too far from the pack. She knew one wouldn’t attract Hanzo’s attention because with him, he wanted the most amount of blood. She jumped from the edge she was running too, calculating where he was going to be the moment she would jump so she could tackle him. Making the leap, she had an even better idea, as she fell. As she was half way to the water, she whistled, grabbing his attention. The moment he stopped to look, she knew she had him. She threw one of the rods as hard as she could, having it go threw one of his legs. She was already in midair, she went for a kick upward to the jaw, knocking him unconscious. He’d live, float in the water until it was time to decide what to do with him. He wasn’t going anywhere with that fucked up leg either. Having the other pole in hand, she made her way up the buildings at an angle, trying to catch up with Hanzo, as well as make it back to the roof tops. Hanzo was begininng to lose control over himself, the sight of blood was maddening him with bloodlust. Hanzo swung his massive blade once more causing two more to be cut across the abdomen as another charged forward to punch him, however it was to no avail due to his hardened skin which was imbued upon him via his bloodline. Hanzo gave the man a wild grin as he did not budge and returned the punch with a powerful left jab sending the ruffian flying back and Hanzo laughed hysterically. Hanzo was an absolute sado-masochist and not only did he utterly enjoy inflicting pain and agony on others he did not mind if he got a lttle beat up in the process, all the more, if he was beat up then his opponent was a worthy foe, sadly this was not the case here.

"Oi! Ahri what the fuck are you doing? Stop dicking around, let's get this shit rolling eh?" This was quite ironic as it was Hanzo who was fooling around not even putting any effort into the fight and he had already injured four out of the eight, his partner one. If it were up to him he would have already killed all eight of them. Hanzo could not help but think of all the memories he had with Ahri, one of the rare few people that Hanzo did not feel like mangling in Kirigakure. They made the perfect pair, Hanzo was brawn, Ahri was brain. Their general tactic was for Hanzo to distract whilst Ahri could find the most effective place to launch her kage mane or support him with her shadow jutsu.

The point was that he would keep distracting them until, Ahri could find a good location to where she would be able to cast her kage mane in the most effective manner. As he yelled to his partner, two of the group broke away and began to give chase to Ahri, whilst the other two attacked Hanzo, one with an axe, the other with a dagger. Hanzo easily parried their blows and cleaved one right in the shoulder and using his brutish force cleaved his arm off slowly driving the massive blade through his shoulder causing him to go down on his knees due to Hanzo's force. Hanzo looked to the other ruffian with both their clothes now drenched in his comrade's blood. Hanzo charged at him and shoulder fisted him causing him to fly back and slam against a nearby tree knocking him unconsious.

Special: Shark skin serves to halve incoming impacting damage, though piercing attacks, those that exploit an elemental weakness, or attacks stronger in rank will go through the cartilage with full power. Ineffective against Genjutsu.
Description: Part of what makes a Hoshigake so unique is its fusion of human and shark DNA. Having gained a thin layer of cartilage underneath their blueish skin as a result, the user learns how to use that cartilage in combination with their chakra in order to lessen the impact of melee strikes against them. By channeling their special shark chakra into the thin layer underneath the skin, the cartilage there begins to act like a sponge, ready to cushion damage. As a result, whenever the user is hit, the sponge-like manner of the cartilage absorbs a portion of the damage, reducing the damage done to the user significantly.

He had to fucking yell. Her plan was to surprise them with her Kage Mane, but now, that was pointless. She pulled out her tanto blade and got ready to fight. Shadow Ninjutsu was her primary focus, but her favorite was taijutsu. They were going to get a surprise. Who would think that a five foot six girl weighing at one hundred and thirty pounds could get the best of them? As she was charging them, She started the hand seals for her Kage Mane and she started to plan. To her, the world just stopped as she analyzed all the possible options that could happen. Her mind raced with all the calculations needed for this as well as all the possible attack points and openings. Angles, Speed, Momentum, Inertia, Force of Impact… It all just came together. Once she came up will all her strategies she needed, time returned to normal. Her body prepared for what was to come. She has to thank Hanzo for his MITICULOUS taijutsu training sessions. If it wasn’t for him, she wouldn’t have the speed, reflexes, stamina, or strength she has now. It was because of it that she was able to do what happened next. One of the thugs was going for a punch, which she dodged. She stuck her tanto blade in his shoulder. As a response to his team mate getting stabbed in the back, he went to strike her with his tomahawk. She grabbed his hand. Both were with in her shadow, so it was easy to link them all together. Since she was in the middle of them both, both of them faced her. Both of them were very close to each other, so it was merely a raise of the arm and the tight squeeze of the hand and both of them were out like lights. She could hear Hanzo coming up from behind asking her what he was supposed to do with the other six? “Kill them. They aren’t worth the energy to carry them back.” Hanzo’s grin told her all, and the screams of the victims were expected. She left the out of her jutsu and expected Hanzo to carry them alive back to the prison. Just as she was about to leave to claim the mission a success, she heard a scream. "Bring them with us. Hanzo could not have believed his ears, he was asked to annihilate the rest of the bandits, and Hanzo could not have been happier to comply. Hanzo unsheathed his broadsword once more, his mouth arced into an extremely sadistic grin as he used his natural speed in water to enhance his movement. He moved with bizarre grace as he moved from one injured bandit to the next slashing each one with one blow killing them, as he rejoiced at the sight of blood, his eyes wild with blood lust. However Hanzo kept the last two that were captured by his partner, Ahri so that they could be interrogated once they return to Kirigakure. However as Hanzo was picking up both bandits on his shoulder he heard a scream break the silence, looking to his partner who turned back to him he looked puzzled.

Hanzo ran towards his partner and paused next to her, stopping her from moving by stretching his arm out. "Hold on let's move carefully, my enhanced eyesight will come handy here, I'll use Kirigakure No Jutsu and Mizu Bunshin no jutsu to lure them towards you, you shadow bind them and I'll come out and cleave them to pieces alright?" Hanzo then moved carefully, hoping that he could lure them back to the massive lake he had created so that they would have the advantage in battle. "We need to lure them back here so that we could have the upper hand Ahri."

Hanzo slowly made his way through the forestry, carefully stepping through as not to make a sound. Eventually he took to the trees and would jump from branch to branch his broadsword in hand in case if they were to be ambushed, also being on low ground would probably set off traps so being high in the trees would aid them in their ambush. Being able to see 20 meters ahead, he eventually spotted them. Hanzo raised his hand so that his partner would stop moving when she caught up with him. Hanzo then pointed towards their location, which was South west of their location.

Hanzo formed a small set of hand seals and a wave of mist began to roll in concealing everything around them. Hanzo then formed another set of handseals and began to move back towards the artificial lake. The clone moved towards the bandits, through his ehnaced sight and the clone's sight he could see 5 more bandits who were huddled around a female Kiri genin. Hanzo relayed to Ahri what he saw, they were armed with machetes, pitchforks and axes. Hanzo moved his clone closer until he made sure that they saw him and with that his clone began to sprint towards their location, by then Hanzo would have been in position under water and Ahri would be on a tree concealed to ambush.

Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique)

Type: Supplementary / Suiton Ninjutsu
Range: 0 -10 meters

Chakra: Low to cast and sustain.
Special: Fills a large, 10 meter area with mist as long as the user keep the technique flowing. Each time retrained, area of mist expands by 10 more meters to a maximum of 50 meters. Mist blocks out all doujutsu requiring clear visibility, but does not hinder the ability to see chakra.
Description: Though very basic, the Hidden Mist Technique allows for the stealthier side of combat to rule. After forming a few simple handseals, the user causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target, as they can move unseen, and if careful, unheard. The mist can be unsettled by a very strong wind based technique (for one post), though it will eventually return.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Techqniue)

Special: Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Being elementally based, this clone can use any c-ranked or lower suiton techniques the user knows. Can be relearned up to 4 times for a maximum of 5 clones created.
Description: With this technique, the Suiton user is able to call upon aid from a perfect copy of themselves. Comprised purely of water, this clone retains the user movement speed and strength. [Pain XIII]

Hanzo awaited eagerly for the arrival of the bandits who had given chase to his clone, completely oblivious to the death trap that they had prepared for their arrival. Soon enough the water clone lead them to the small lake created by Hanzo. A moment of surprise as the bandits step over the lake, unaware that the massive shark that is Hoshigake Hanzo was waiting with his broadsword out itching for blood.

With that using his natural underwater ability he swam at an extremely rapid pace a massive grin etched on his face. Hanzo dived upwards splashing water as he did as the bandits stood their guard, they were unable to fast enough due to his enhanced movement on and underwater and he easily slashed one easily cleaving him almost in half severely injuring him as he did. The water clone then began to engage one in combat as well.

The other four encircling Hanzo and his clone and they began to all attack them in one go, Hanzo having the upper hand could hold his own against all four of them, which would provide the perfect distraction for Ahri whilst he engaged them in combat. Hanzo swung his massive cleaver at them causing them to move back, if Hanzo could push them back far enough for Ahri to easily deploy her shadow bind then he would have made her job easier.

Special: Shark skin serves to halve incoming impacting damage, though piercing attacks, those that exploit an elemental weakness, or attacks stronger in rank will go through the cartilage with full power. Ineffective against Genjutsu.
Description: Part of what makes a Hoshigake so unique is its fusion of human and shark DNA. Having gained a thin layer of cartilage underneath their blueish skin as a result, the user learns how to use that cartilage in combination with their chakra in order to lessen the impact of melee strikes against them. By channeling their special shark chakra into the thin layer underneath the skin, the cartilage there begins to act like a sponge, ready to cushion damage. As a result, whenever the user is hit, the sponge-like manner of the cartilage absorbs a portion of the damage, reducing the damage done to the user significantly.

As they were all distracted by Hanzo and the clone, she spread her shadow in a thin line to encompass the bandits who thought they had Hanzo surrounded. Too preoccupied with the fight to realize what was going on, in one motion, the circle of shadow started to grow tendrils that reached for all their shadows. Creeping up on them to avoid them being seen, she waited for the perfect opportunity to snare them.

It was just a matter of time. It wasn't until one of the bandits that Hanzo pushed back almost noticed the shadow. She snared him moving the shadows at their top speed. She had to work faster now. It was a pain in the ass, but nothing she couldn't fix.

"Kage Nui (Shadow Sewing)"

Suddenly, all the shadows that surrounded them grew tentacles that ensnared everyone within the circle that was considered hostile. She'd rather have had it gone smoothly, but this isn't a perfect world, nor is it easy when you have Hazno. Somehow, the two of them just had the weirdest luck... One with the mood swings of a bipolar baby.

She didn't mind it though. It kept her on her feet and made her mind sharp. It would have been dull if things just went their way all the time. After all, what was a little fighting here and there.

She grinned at the thought of what was to come. She just hoped Hanzo restrained himself a little and saved at least one. Something about this whole mess didn't seem right with her. The reports stated that there were eight causing all these crimes. But with these five, that made thirteen. And these five were only caught because of a scream. It seemed like the original eight were just a decoy for something. But what could it have been?

She shoved the idea from her mind. It wasn't her concern. The only thing that mattered right now was getting this mission done with and have someone else deal with this....

But somehow she had a feeling this would end on her and Hanzo's shoulder once more... Joy...

[Pain XIII]

Hanzo ducked and parried a blow to the head with extreme ease as he recollected himself quite quickly and retaliated with a nasty blow that caused one of the bandits to be knocked back. However as he did, black strings began to encompass them all, from above he knew that this was Nara Ahri's doing, his partner. The strings then slithered about with great speed and stopped all the bandits in their place. "Shadow Sewing Success, hah!" All the targets had shadow tendrils ensnaring their necks crushing their trachea as Hanzo stood in place and watched.

It was annoying how Ahri butted in like that he could have very easily taken all five of them down single handedly without her stupid shadow jutsu. She was blatantly denying him the right to be violent, which goes against their partnership code, well in Hanzo's opinion at least that is. He did have quite the bizarre bond with her, if at first glance someone were to analyze their characters they are ever so clearly incompatible. However they made it work perfectly, despite their opposing characters they did truly respect each other and considered each other extremely close friends.

"Fuck you Ahri! Always messing with my lunch like that, didn't your mommy teach you to play with your food before you eat it? Besides you know damn well it makes me feel alive when I hunt for my own food." Hanzo growled at his partner, well to piss her off that was fun, he loved hearing her responses to his comments, and to scare the living hell out of the bandits, as if his appearance and demeanor did not suffice. Hanzo stared each bandit around him his white eyes scanning them with a look of madness in them.

Blood suddenly erupted out of one as he fell dead, Hanzo had cleaved him perfectly in half, staining his already stained lake with crimson. Hanzo let out a roar as he proceeded to cleave through each one. However after a moment of attempting to restrain himself he allowed only two to live to be interrogated by Kiri ANBU. "Tsh! What whelps! Ahri drag these two assclowns back to Kiri."

She dropped down from the tree and made her way to Hanzo, who was now doing his very best to mess with her... "Spare me Hanzo. You can still kill them. If it makes you feel any better I'll control them and you can still hunt them. You could be like the dog chasing after a frisbee." They had a strange love-hate-blade to the neck relationship, but it worked out. They got the job done and it worked out perfectly for them. She watched as Hanzo cleaved them and spared two of them, walking over and slinging the two he brought over originally. He knocked out the two he spared. She released her Kage Nui Jutsu, but kept them bound in her Kage Mane Jutsu. She followed Hanzo as the two followed her like they were zombies... Hopefully an end to a very long and tiring day.
