Takumi sat on the edge of the docks looking out onto the expanse of water that stretched away to the rest of the world. Across the body of water lay the rest of the world with its own ninja villages quietly enjoying their peaceful lives. The time was coming for an end to peace and the shinobi of Kirigakure no Sato would be prepared. After all that was the purpose of today's mission, to train the new generation a jutsu.

It wasn't long before three young genin began walking along the docks to the edge where the Aburame ninja awaited them impatiently. Time was becoming more and more important with every passing day, and these Genin had the nerve to bother showing up late. It was now up to Takumi to make up for the lost time the tardiness of his students had cost them.

"Today you will be learning a new Suiton jutsu. If there has been any sort of clerical mistake and you either don't belong here or don't have previous Suiton release training then you will be here until you can manage suiton release. You will not speak unless spoken too, you will obey directions and you will learn... or not. It's really up to you how this day goes."

Takumi rose and spun around on his heel and faced the team of Genin he would be instructing. They were obviously young genin barely out of the academy so it was a little impressive that they all had some skill in suiton release. As impressive as that was though, it was not a sure indicator of a quick lesson.

"Now then let's get started. You will be learning Suirou no Jutsu. This jutsu, while only having one application, has been known to render some of the strongest and most infamous ninja helpless. By entrapping a single target in a prison of water, we can successfully take the captive alive once they lose consciousness. Observe."

Kikai flew out of Takumi's clothes flying directly to his left and forming into a moving mass of kikai that quickly became a clone of Takumi. As the kikai clone turned to look at the original, Takumi quickly formed a string of handseals just before water seeped up from beneath the docks. His open hand stretched out to his clone as the water entrapped it in a sphere of water.

The clone struggled and fought against the water but yielded no success as the water flowed around him keeping him from resisting. Once inside the clone struggled inside for freedom but it was visible no freedom would be attained even as ferociously as the clone fought.

"As long as contact is kept with the prison, your victim will be at your mercy."

Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)

Special: The user must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. While in prison, victims cannot perform handseals. Requires a water source.
Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. After the shinobi forms the necessary hand seals, the water around the victim comes together in order to form a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby, or even have the bunshin be the one’s holding the target hostage.

Mushi Bunshin no Jutsu (Bug Clone Technique)

Special: Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. When struck physically, clone may disperse and reform easily, making them defeatable only by wide, area-of-effect attacks. When defeated, it explodes in a burst of bugs, spreading its essence everywhere. Explosion range covers 5 meters all around the clone. Clone can perform all known clan jutsu, and can move up to one country away from the user before dissipating.
Description: Mushi Bunshin no Jutsu is as its name implies, an Aburame ninjutsu cloning technique that allows the clan member to create a clone out of their kikai. Using the destruction bugs living from within their body, the clan host calls on the bugs to form a bunshin copy of themselves inr order to trick their opponent. Effective for misdirection, but once damaged by an attack, the technique ends and the clone disperses back into the bugs which formed it.

"Just like any suiton release you have to picture your chakra flowing and free formed. But to use this technique you'll have to do a little more forming of this chakra. Try and imagine your chakra washing over your opponents relentlessly. Imagine them struggling physically against the tide of your chakra before it completely envelopes them."

Over the course of several hours of teaching the students failed to achieve the jutsu. While they all came close they were unable to fully materialize the jutsu often ending in soaking victims being dropped to the docks uselessly. The training was going no where slowly and it was beginning to tire Takumi to no end. How could these shinobi be so thick headed as to not comprehend this jutsu? They were all kirigakure shinobi after all, this jutsu should be a staple of their suiton releases!

"I'm beginning to think none of you actually know what you're doing at all. You show no dedication and true effort to this technique that could one day play a pivotal roll in a battle for your very life!"

Takumi looked over the shinobi judgementally shaking his head. If there was any hope of teaching these kids how to fight there was only one way to do it. Takumi was going to have to raise the stakes on his training sessions to ensure his students would get the most out of his teachings. Unfortunately for the students Takumi only knew of one lesson that could inspire the entire team of genin to do their best and try hard.

"Well then let's try this."

Takumi sprinted suddenly forward striking the nearest ninja across the face sending him teetering over the ledge into the water. At the same time his clone replicated the same strike on another student sending them down the opposite side of the docks into the water. The third student was ready though, ducking under the clone's spinning back kick he drew his kunai and lunged it through the clone.

The clone smiled momentarily before melting into a swarm of kikai that buzzed around him momentarily distracting him. While the student was distracted the real Takumi walked calmly towards him, forming a quick set of hand seals. Water below the docks sloshed and swirled upwards submerging the student within before forming a perfect sphere. The water within the prison held the student in place securely despite his struggling and writhing.

"The more you struggle the sooner you suffocate. I've used the jutsu to effectively take control of your fate from your hands. Whether you live or die will now be decided by the competence of your team mates. Good luck."

The student stopped struggling vainly as his head hung without hope within his prison. The swarm of bugs reformed again into a whole clone before jumping down onto the surface of the water. Fishing the two students out of the water he dragged them back up onto the docks swiftly dumping the students onto the floor.

"Here's the rules. The two of you who can still breath will use the Suirou no Jutsu successfully and I will release him from the prison. Take too long and he'll drown though. Just to make sure you have an incentive though every time one of you fails my clone will begin punishing you until the other either fails or succeeds in their own use of the technique. If they succeed, the clone will stop punishing you and you will have your chance to perform the technique successfully. Once both of you have used the technique I'll let him go. If he dies before both of you have used the technique, I will simply replace him with one of you. Anyone who survives this exercise will have mastered this jutsu."

The students looked at each other fearfully before rallying with conviction as the first attempted the jutsu on the other. Water was drawn up through the docks again as it began to surround the other ninja in a wobbly sphere before sputtering and spraying everywhere. Even as the realization of failure struck the shinobi, so too did the clones fist drive into his cheek knocking him to his knees before being roughly picked back up in front of his partner and held in place as the clone beat him.

The other ninja froze in shock for a moment before shaking his head realizing it was his turn to try. Quickly jumping to his feet he took a moment not to rush himself. If he did it wrong the clone would only be beating him instead of his partner. If he did it right though he could potentially stop the punishment and give his partner a chance to free the last of their team. He mentally viewed his chakra as Takumi had instructed and focused hard forming the hand seals and molding his chakra as water rose through the docks to swarm and entrap his partner while pushing away the clone. The ninja laughed triumphantly holding his partner within the prison for a moment before releasing him.

"Alright, your turn now so focus and get it right ok?"

The other shinobi nodded and formed the handseals focusing as water rushed up to envelope his now confidently smirking partner, but the water was too fast and he lost control as it washed as a wave off of the deck. Even as the failure struck him, so too did the clone's fist strike another cheek. But the cheek of his partner who had already performed the jutsu. The clone picked him up and beat him in front of his partner just as he had to the other.

The ninja began to form hand seals quickly making pitiful attempts one after the other. After several failures while his partner continued to be pummeled senseless, the ninja focused much harder now on the visual reference of the chakra in his mind. Again he performed the string of hand seals this time yielding water through the dock slower and more flowing as it enveloped and entrapped his partner.

Takumi released his captive who fell onto the docks gasping for air as the water flowed down and off his body. Takumi smiled at the other two shinobi who had gotten quite the mess made of themselves from clone beatings. To some extend friendship exists even in Kirigakure no Sato. The ninja could be raised, and taught to be violent killing machines, but there were still parts of them that were human. Part that could be used as motivators in the days to come. Takumi made a mental note of it.

The soaking shinobi was picked up by his friends from the ground to make sure he was ok. But as he rose to his feet with their aid he struck one to the side formed handseals quickly and entrapped him in the Suirou No Jutso. He laughed triumphantly as he held his friend in the water prison with a wicked gleam in his eye.

"You nearly got me drown! You let Gin get the shit beat out of him for so long before you finally used the jutsu properly! You're going to sit in there and think about trying harder so the rest of us won't suffer while I try to catch my breath!"

Takumi chuckled quietly to himself as his clone dispersed into a cloud of kikai that swarmed up his legs and under his skin back into his body. He was now officially worn out and tired from teaching for what had been a full day now as the sun began to set. It was time to leave and go get a bottle in a pleasant little brown bag and get lost in it until the morning came again. Once the sun rose again, the cycle would repeat. A few hours of hang over recovery, down to the office, off on a mission. Work was starting to be more and more effort.

"You've now all successfully performed Suirou No Jutsu. Class is dismissed."
