"I see you picked up some other things aside from what I told you to, good job. I guess you aren’t half as dumb as I had originally thought you to be.”

Kanae's voice returned to my ears as I'd gathered several items that Mrs.Godo wished for. Her voice, with ease, robbed me of my focus as my attention momentarily shifted upon her approach. “There’s hope for you yet, kiddo.” My eyes briefly hid behind closed lids as my head tilted towards the ground and released a near sarcastic laugh.

“I see you got prunes, but did you grab some prune juice, too? The old bat wants some of that nasty shit, too.”

My closed lids slowly drew themselves upward as my crimson optics retreated to the corners of my eyes to glance over Kanae's form, ready to reply. "Yeah I was about to grab it right abooooooo-...." I stepped forward towards Kanae and reached around her waist once more, however, this time I'd grabbed for the prune just that she hated so contentedly. I wouldn't have been surprised if she'd flinch or tried to swipe my hand away, but if she had I'd continue on in reaching, and acquiring the prune juice. "oout...now."

This mission's completion was nigh, for we'd finally completed Mrs.Godo's list of demands. With a calm and vigorous stroll I made my way to the register counter, bestowing all the items he held onto upon the cashier. I waited for Kanae to come to the counter before having spoken with a teasing voice, "I'm surprised you talked to me the way you did back there" After having run up the items and obtained the bags I commenced to leave the store, completing yet another step of the mission.

Certainly she hadn’t expected him to attempt a second time, but she could no longer deny it as she watched his arm snake out about her waist once again. Instantly her cheeks flushed a deep red and she felt her anger boiling up again from earlier.

The guy had six arms for crying out loud, he was able to juggle and multitask a lot more than she physically ever could, and she damned him for that in this moment. She maneuvered the items she held all into one arm and used her newly free one to seek her timely revenge on him now in this moment while his arm was around her.

She did indeed swipe at his arm like he thought she would, but since her other arm was filled with groceries she couldn’t quite get in the momentum that she had wanted. This would cause for another foot stomping tantrum later when she was away from the boy. But for now, she simply growled at him until he pulled his arm back with the prune juice and they could be on their way.

Just a little while longer…just a little while longer. Get the groceries back to Mrs. Godo and be on your way, that’s all…that’s all. Besides, she could always afflict pain on him once the mission was completed.

“Great, good, fine – you’ve got the juice, you even managed to cop a feel twice. Can we go now?” She seethed. "And if you lay your hands on me one more time like that, so help me---"

Kanae followed the boy to the cashier and laid out her gathered things on the register and allowed the cashier to ring it all up before she paid the worker with the money Mrs. Godo had given them.

"I'm surprised you talked to me the way you did back there"


“You’d be surprised at the many things I’m capable of, kiddo.” Kanae adjusted her facial scarf and wiggled her fingers at him.

Once the cashier packed up their purchases, Kanae followed the kid out of the store; they were so close to completing their mission she could feel it! She immediately headed away from the store and back down the street in the direction of Mrs. Godo’s. “You know, I never thought that I would be able to justify disliking someone on the first day of meeting them, but I don’t like you...” She tossed the words over her shoulder at him as they exited the store, she hoped this would strike up something good for their walk back to the house.

My casual stroll remained solid, not even looking back as I responded to the girls statement, "heh, You don't like me eh, I got that already. But I'm sure you also know that I like you...so it seems we are at an impasse...again." As my words met their imminent occlusion I looked back keenly over my shoulder, smiling away at Kanae. "Why don't cha like me, heh, is it the confidence, or the fact that you're nervous about a person, let alone a man gravitating towards you?" The smile never left my face, I refused to allow it as I made my way back to Mrs.Godo's house with each step that struck the earthen floor.

I ventured out of the SPADE house clad in a monochrome kimono - blue - and accenting obi sash - black - now unwilling to don my usual threads; I didn't feel like killing another man for making a lewd advance, especially since I had a task.

It shouldn't be too hard to find a minion... I meandered through the village streets on the hunt for a genin - or two - to accompany me on a mission. My usual stooge was busy preparing for the Chuunin Exams - not that he had a hope of passing - and I was left without a 'team'. Ah! There's a genin.

The genin should have been more cognizant of where he was going - with his head turned to look over his shoulder, he was unable to see me step into his path, and less the girl warned him, equally unable to avoid crashing into me. It was almost like getting hit by a strong gust of wind - for him, the collision was more akin' to walking into a wall as opposed to a person, let alone a woman like myself.

"Hello." I watched him with curious eyes, body preternaturally still as I tilted my head from left to right.. Six arms? He had to be a -

Sasanagi, six-armed warriors capable of secreting a substance that can imitate spider silk in both ability and strength. They are capable of replicating weapons with their silk, and are extremely dangerous.

My father had taken great care to show me the spider's place in its world. Safe to say, I was intrigued by this genin - very much so. "You two on a mission?" I noted the grocery bags, eyes roving over a few of the items - they were clearly on a mission, for no one under fifty had any right buying prune juice.

"How would you like to do something a bit more... exciting?"

"Heh, You don't like me eh, I got that already. But I'm sure you also know that I like you...so it seems we are at an impasse...again."

Something filled her in that moment, and it wasn’t adoration. Hell, it wasn’t even that warm fuzzy feeling you get when someone compliments you. Kanae could feel her cheeks glowing, but they weren’t speckled and dipped with the usual pinkish hue she liked to display when trying to lure someone; this glow was something entirely different from that. She wanted to wrap her hands around the boy’s neck and squeeze, choke, and strangle until the little brat couldn’t utter a single syllable anymore.

"Why don't cha like me, heh, is it the confidence, or the fact that you're nervous about a person, let alone a man gravitating towards you?"

She thought in that moment that her temper might get the best of her, and now that they were outside of the grocery store, there was nothing stopping her from tackling him. But something did stop her from attacking him and changed her mind—

A woman. A woman was standing not too far in front of the boy, and if he kept going at the speed and confidence that he was going, he would ram right into her. Even more amusing, the woman didn’t look like she was planning to move out of the boy’s blind path anytime soon. Kanae slowed her strides, but didn’t stop in her tracks since there was some distance between she and her mission partner. However, the corners of her lips under the facial mask did begin to turn skyward in a smile that exuded entertainment and amusement.

Oh, she hoped the boy would crash!

Whether or not the boy did actually meet impact with the woman, Kanae would wait to see that outcome before answering the woman’s question. In fact, that was another thing she hoped: that the woman’s voice didn’t alert the boy in time to avoid her! So much was riding on this moment- Kanae’s eyes seemed to gleam!

Unexpectedly that woman showed up, she took me by surprise, a surprise I had never forgotten."

As I continued to glance back over my shoulder I began to realize that Kanae's pace slowly began to slowly lessen as her eyes perforated my body as if I had crossed over the threshold of transparency. Attempting to look forward my heavy stride came to an abrupt arrest from what felt like a solid wall with....soft 'breast'. The hell?! I bore a slim figure when I was young, however, I wasn't as feeble as others thought; with a few steps back I obtained balance and composure. My senses flared with a fusion of sensuality and curiosity as my eyes intemperately fell upon the Chuunin's anatomy before look up at her. Having mentally sized her up I felt a primordial annoyance knit itself within my stomach as my dislike for women who exceeded me in height washed effortlessly over my mind.

Ijitome: "Hello..."You two on a mission? How would you like to do something a bit more... exciting?"

My lids momentarily hid themselves behind closed lids, closing them off from the world as I walked the woman as if to have arrogantly ignored her. Heh...Normally I don't speak with women taller then myself, however, you have a beautiful face, so I'll go along with it..." My voice released itself after my feet carried me roughly 4 meters behind her. I was on a mission and would stop for no one, especially a woman who successfully seized my movements with her 'gifts'. "...To keep it simple, sure, I just finished my chuunin exam requirements so its not like I've got anything else to do."

By the time I'd finish speak I found myself at Mrs.Godo's doorstep, stepping in as I'd announce my presence so she wouldn't get alarmed, Mrs.Godo, we're back, we have all your items." Granting my client great comfort I smiled in her presence, letting her know that I was more then happy to help, not that I hadn't been.

Ah, she couldn’t have planned it out better herself! It was like watching true magic unfold, really it was. The kid continued to walk forward, too busy babbling on to Kanae to realize something big and solid was coming up right in front of him!

And then,

Wham!

There was a God!

Kanae almost fell backwards laughing, but managed to hold her composure and just stopped in her tracks and smiled wickedly once more beneath her facial mask. She watched as the boy turned and began speaking to the tall woman who had asked them if they were on a mission. True, they had been on a mission, and soon it would be over and she would be looking for her next mission. But, something more...exciting? Well, she couldn’t pass that up!

”Heh...Normally I don't speak with women taller then myself, however, you have a beautiful face, so I'll go along with it..." She heard the words come from the kid’s mouth, but she couldn't believe them! Was it possible?! It took her a few seconds to process and receive it clearly. Had he just moved himself on to another woman? She was saaaved!!! This God that existed LOVED HER! All in one day the boy crashed himself into something solid, which was hysterical, and she was being offered something awesome to do, and the kid might be moving on from her!? Fuck, yes !

She decided to speak up before following after the boy to finish their mission. “Once I’m done with this mission, I’d be up for something exciting.” Afterwards, she strutted after the kid to Mrs. Godo’s house where he was already announcing his arrival.

Little old Mrs. Godo came waddling… yes, waddling…from the kitchen full of giggles and smiles as she gazed upon the two wonderful kids who brought her the groceries she needed. “Ooo—“ she cooed, “have I got a tasty treat for the two of you!” She scrunched her facial features, which deepened all of her wrinkles, and twitched a hand at the young boy.

“I’ve got a sweet reward for the two of you, some nice warm chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven!” She gave a little chuckle and turned and began waddling back to the kitchen to show the kids their treats.

Enemies-- ? No, they're a few normals. They don't look like they're trippin' - he must be tryin' to keep that ass-kickin' I gave him low key for right now. Arrogant? Yeah. Ignorant? Maybe. But hell, I'm not goin' to lie to you; that's what I was thinking at the moment, speedin' through the shadowed streets. I never imagined it be this easy to just hijack the Mizukage, but a lot of the kids nowadays were pretty overrated. Had it been the Fifth, or any of the others, I probably would've been fucked.

Two girls and a freak with six arms - definitely was goin' to be an interesting little trip.

They wouldn't have heard me, let alone seen me - in fact, much like the little trick with my sword, I simply appeared behind the trio¹. That's when, if their senses were a little sharper than your average chump, they would've heard the barely audible "thud" coming from my heels touching the road. Only a handful of meters to their rear (fifteen feet), I took my time to analyze what I could.

Blond in a kimono -- my type. She looks a bit young, though. The other one-- mmm, I love a dark-headed bitch. . . emo, six-armed guy. Good thing I'm not a flamer.

Again, I'm not goin' to lie to you.

"What're a couple of beautiful diamonds like yourselves doin' with a thing like tha'guy over there?" I smiled, snapping my fingers against Suijin's handle; he'd already found his place in the strap on my back. "Ya should be lookin' to get in some trouble with a guy like me, yeah? : )"

"As I left the house, I saw him for the first time."

I effortlessly executed my mission with much grace and having been satisfied with the verdict I took my leave from Mrs. Godo's establishment. Stepping outside of her door my crimson optics fell upon the mass of civilians that vagabonded aimlessly upon the busy streets of Kirigakure and came across something highly intriguing. This man, the one who bore a silken, stark white mane, and dark toned flesh, he stood out like a drop of blood that struck an ocean of crystalline purity. The air about him screamed with malevolency, well at least to my own senses.

But do not misconstrue, I feared not this man, how could I, my mind stored no knowledge of who he was or what capabilities he held. Satiated with curiosity my eyes surveyed the man, imbibing all details about him I deemed essential and etched them within the recesses of my mind.

"What're a couple of beautiful diamonds like yourselves doin' with a thing like tha'guy over there? Ya should be lookin' to get in some trouble with a guy like me, yeah?"

I could only smirk and release a brief laugh at his comments for they struck my very core with a mirthful touch. "A guy like you eh? who are you and what do you want?" I stepped forward with assurance, questioning the man as I'd been the leader of this mission, candidly I really felt as such. Having met two shady characters in the time frame of one mission I refused to let my guard down. Something wasn't right...I could feel a dark omen intumescing within the pit of my stomach.

The house and the genin are behind me, and I was facing the direction they came from - if you shunshined to the rear the group, you shunshined in front me. It doesn't really change anything, but I thought you should know.

This boy was almost as bad as Tenju, though he refrained from ogling me - lucky for him, because I wasn't in the mood to be ogled; I rarely was, unless it was Kouketsu ogling me. His friend seemed to find his brief bout of misfortune quite hilarious, and she too expressed interest in a more exciting pursuit. Excellent. Now I had two minions to accompany me, and since they were nearly finished with their mission, we could begin soon-

But then a man shunshin'd in front of me - I mean right in front of me, roughly five meters away - and my thoughts went out the window. He was tall with a bright shock of pure white hair and the darkest skin I had ever seen, his skin tanned passed golden to bronze. He had a strong build, and his tight-fitting clothes broadcast the fact. I didn't know every Kiri-nin, but I knew for sure that this man was out of place - the sun didn't shine that bright in Kirigakure, or rather, not bright enough to sustain such a tan. Then again, maybe he was one of those people...

And then, to make matters worst, he ogled me... and then proceeded propositioned me, snapping his fingers to the sword at his back. In my eyes, that made his intentions clear. Before I could speak, the boy interrupted, attempting to take control of the situation. I doubted that this man would respect him - he had barely acknowledged him, and even then it had been in a derogatory fashion.

"What sort of trouble?" I said finally, tilting my head slightly to the right. I put my left hand to my hip and adjusted my stance to a more feminine pose, my lip curling into a sensual smile. I'd spent some time watching the whores at the house, and one had even taught me how to imitate and recreate my 'orgasm' face to use in instances like these. Men are very visual creatures, she had told me. Make them see pleasure when they look at you, rather you intend to please them or not. I pointed at him with my free hand, one eyebrow curled delicately in faux-confusion. "You aren't from here, are you?"

After their mission had been completed, Kanae wasted no time – again – exiting Mrs. Godo’s house; that old bat’s residence just…reeked. Moth ball smell, everywhere! She was so glad to get out of there. But, stepping out onto the front porch steps with her partner who had already began making his way to the street below, she noticed another newcomer had arrived, and the tall woman who had offered them excitement was still there, as well.

Kanae’s dark eyes fell upon the equally dark man with hair as white as her skin. They were complete polar opposites – the two of them – where she had pale, creamy flesh; he had the hair. Where he had the darkest skin she had ever seen; she had the darkest eyes. It was strange to look upon your own total reversal, but he was handsome and she assumed – as pretty much any female Kiri nin probably knew and practiced, including the tall woman – using their femininity and sexual advantages over guys like this were the best way to manipulate. However, Kanae usually found herself disgusted if she laid the seduction on too strong as it just wasn’t in her nature to get overly sappy or anything accompanying it.

Diamond. He referred to her as a diamond; a beautiful, expensive stone that sparkled and glittered. A stone that many women basically went crazy over when it was offered to them, and something that anyone should blush with flattery over when compared to. Kanae narrowed her dark eyes at the stranger who was so dark and adjusted her facial scarf. In fact, the only part of his statement that enlightened her in the slightest was his reference to her mission partner, who, despite still considering him an annoying little freak – eh, he wasn’t half bad to be around at times.

” Ya should be lookin' to get in some trouble with a guy like me, yeah?”


It seemed both her mission partner and the tall woman addressed the dark man’s inquiry before she even dreamed of doing so herself. Quite frankly, they both hit two very different directions with their reactions to the white-haired man and they both somehow managed to take the very similar two concerns that she herself would have addressed if they hadn’t taken them right from her throat.

It was also funny to note how her mission partner seemed to want to step up as leader, and then the tall lady as well. Either way, Kanae didn’t care; neither one of them were her leader and she refused to lead anyone but herself, so in her opinion they could duke it out over who was the leader between that pair – she stood alone.

She also thought it entertaining to note how the tall woman portrayed herself around the man – she must’ve been spending some of her time in the local whore house by the way she pranced around; she had the whore act down almost perfectly, maybe they were planning to offer her a position there. Kanae would have to speak with her at some point in private, she recalled a gentleman she ran into not too long ago who suggested she visit the house, not to seek out a position as a whore, but apparently other positions were being handed out as well that not so many knew about.

Still, she remained silent for the time being; both of her questions seeming as though they would be answered soon enough without her ever having to open her mouth. The offer for excitement hung in the hair from the tall woman and the offer for trouble hung in their air from the strange man who, come to think of it, she’d never seen around here before.

"Who am I isn't really important, pipsqueak." There wasn't really a reason to get so feisty with the kid, but he stepped up like he was a pretty big hot-shot. Not that I could've really done anything to him at the time, so I figured a verbal bashin' would suffice all the same. "And I've got want I wanted, for the most part - a glance at the beautiful flowas growin' in Mist."

Once I'd given the six-armed freak all the attention he deserved, my gaze settled on the taller of the three. She was definitely my type, the more I looked at her. Lean, hard body - tall - beautiful. Shit, aside from a few key features, she looked almost identical to my fit. I wasn't an expert on readin' people, but somethin' told me that she favored good ol'hand-to-hand opposed to the long range of a ninjutsu style. Again, just an assumption.

"Well. . . I'm not sure ya'd be up for it, Fraulein." Even if I was a visual creature, I wasn't a boy. The difference between a man and a boy was that one could not control their urges, no matter how potent they were. Sure, that blond-headed bitch definitely looked appealin'. Hell, even if she was a bit young, I won't lie and say that I didn't ponder snatchin' her up as another prize from Kirigakure. I mean, I'm not that old.

". . . And, ya be speakin' the truth. I'm not from here - way too dark, don't cha' think?" In one swift motion, the Leaf head band I'd been holdin' was tossed in their general direction.

"But, I've gotta be goin' -- maybe I'll see ya fine asses around sometime?" I shot a wink to both of them, making sure to linger a hard stare on the sexy, older woman in the back, before taking my leave with a powerful thrust from both my legs off into the mist.

I snarled in primordial anger at this mans words, however, the time for hostility had to wait, at least until a further understanding of the mans existence came to bear. I was young and easily tempered I won't lie, but I refused to allow a mans breathe to taint my positive polarity within the karmic laws. Having exchanged words and gotten my answer despite its nature I removed myself from the scene after speaking my final words, "I'm heading for the mission's compound, Whenever you're ready I'll be there or at the village gates."

Kanae arched a brow at the strange man’s answers; it’s true, he was too dark to be from around here – and that’s when he did it – he tossed his Leaf head band into the air and Kanae watched it interestingly float to the dirt.

”But, I've gotta be goin' -- maybe I'll see ya fine asses around sometime?”

She sneered at the man’s words, and glared at his hard stare following the wink he gave her. Kanae wasn’t about to blush with bashfulness or giggle in response to his remarks or gestures.

She would, however, snatch up his head band the moment he disappeared. Not even waiting to see what happened with her mission partner or the tall woman’s offer, Kanae stepped forward and bent down, scooping up the head band and coiling it around her wrist before she watched the annoying kid disappear off towards the mission compound, where she would undoubtedly be following him to turn in their mission, still holding the Leaf head band around her wrist.

Would she meet the dark-skinned man again? If she did, she hoped for his sake that he had something better than lame flattery and winks.
