Akuma would retreat from his village for the time being. He had already estimated the distance to his next destination. There had been the possibility of him making it there long after the war is over, but Sunagakure would need the assistance, regardless. He could not simply let his land be conquered. The destination had been set in his head. Kaminari no Kuni is where he would be off to, trekking northeast through the midnight desert.
