His eyes were bright with mischief, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Besides, it wasn't as if he was important to the world; Otogakure was quite the moronic country. Lips curled upwards in a smile as he looked back to his fantastic carnage of nature, and he waited for the arrival of his 'partner' who had came with him, though was told to not assist with the fight. While he enjoyed the drastically different and foreign weather of the country of fire, it was time to go, and Koji wasn't the man to overextend his welcomed presence... though that wasn't necessarily the case. He was in Hi no Kuni for other reasons (the primary portion being to see the paler skinned, yet equally as fine women; all while awaiting Etsuko to do what he did best... whatever that was). There was no way to under-estimate the kid's skill, and when that ETD was roughly set, Koji would be at the given spot at that given time.

Casually he progressed down the well-groomed dirt path, approaching Estuko's figure. When getting in the distance where an easy voice would be audible, Koji took in the words his partner spoke. With a shrug, he responded with his own input of the situation, "Meh, kinda like the forest a bit better than the lousy windy domain we are holed up in, but yeah - I'm ready. And that's alright, I doubt it will matter for now. I'll come back if it need be... Wouldn't mind either, the paleness of the females around here aren't that bad, haha." Koji finished jokingly, starting to progress passed Etsuko in the intended direction, ready for the bigger and better things in life.

Quietly the two continued their journey, sprinting through the trees of Hi no Kuni and making their way past any outposts undetected. Eventually, they came upon a spot where it seemed that they could rest a bit peacefully, though he wasn't necessarily certain it was safe. Either or, he figured if they did attack him that it would barely make much of a difference... he doubted he'd lose to the likes of some douchebag Konoha hipsters.}

Heavy footstep struck the earth with impassivity as a lone Sunagakure ninja trudged heavily through a row of trees. Arms folded in annoyance, the boy continued onward in his path of direction, guided by what appeared to be a rudderless amble. On the contrary, the boy knew where he'd been going, why he was going, and who he was going for. His chakra emanated ferociously as his solemn, black eyes remained disinterested and unattached to the surroundings the gods placed him within. His orders and goals were to group with fellow sunagakure ninja and spread the influence of sunagakure by desolating all opposing faction and forces, however, the latter was more of a personal goal.

His black, silkened hair swayed with the brief passing of low winds as the constant shuffle of his gourd sung through the air. Where are they, I know they're around here somewhere, I must work on my tracking prowess, it will be the next step to perfection. Yes" Enveloped in his psychological bubble of perfection his eyes surveyed the floras and all that laid within his frontal view, and there it was. A great deal of meters away he could see a small clearance, perhaps the location of his sunagakure comrades, only one way to find out.

Several steps, minutes of travel, and finally, the being came to the clearance his mind marked as his destination, and BINGO! He came to a standing rest roughly 5 meters behind them, his eyes glanced over the form of the two shinobi, taking in any details that would prove useful, but they were his comrades right?

With a tone that screamed with stolidity he spoke, and should the two resting ninja turn they would be greeted with his cold lifeless gaze and shimmering sunagakure forehead protector.

Traveling took quite the toll on Koji's mind. Not so much lowering the endurance, but the time of thought eventually dropped him into a mesmerized state; a sort of travel hypnosis. He literally acted as if on auto-pilot, following his partner closely, while disregarding any detail of the trip.

Eventually, the two came to a stop for a rest, and he snapped out of the aforementioned state, realizing that they were miles away from where they previously left from. The feeling was somewhat supernatural, but enjoyable, seeing as he had a strong distaste for monotony... and no doubt that walking would cause that.

A rather unexpressed voice called out from behind Koji, and with somewhat of a melancholic turn, he faced the approaching stranger. With a lackadaisical smile, he replied, "Who wants to know?" While the Suna headband was prominent on the stranger, it wasn't exactly the most complex to mimick. They weren't in Kaze no Kuni anymore, and this could very well just be a trap. Maybe he was just being too cautious though...

A response, just as he expected...

Just as he demanded.

Yes, it was always like that, how Seigen's voice demanded to be responded to and acknowledged by whomever ears his voice fell upon. His eyes focuse remained hard upon shinobi's movements as he turned, exchanging gazes with Seigen. The man's languorous gaze was one unfamiliar to Seigen himself, why would it be familiar, he was one without emotion and thus could careless about what kinds of moods or feelings an expression could convey.

"Who wants to know?"

A minatory wind swept briefly through the surrounding area, one that whipped a few stray bangs that were often kept pushed back from the forefronts of his face. A reflexive hand uplifted, adjusting his bangs to a more comfortable position with his index and middle finger. He folded his arms once more as he had begun to speak, his cold unexpressive tone remained unchanged. "Senka, Seigen, 'God of sand'. I'd been informed that there had been a sunagakure cell in this area, obviously my sources were pre-." His line of speech had come to an abrupt halt as the voice of another being struck his ears, a very voice that presented itself as a nail on a chalkboard, an annoying tone indeed.

"Who's this prick?"

His pupils shot to the corners of his eyes, glancing over this mans form with a solemn, half closed gaze before he spoke. "This 'prick' is reinforcements to Sunagakure's patrol group." It took every ounce of physical energy within his bones and body to come forth with a 'docile' response and not assail his own comrade.

Out of no where, Kaiiro revealed himself from behind a tree. Creepy to an extent, but that was just due to the fact Kojiro wasn't expecting another man to join the conversation. His approach to the emotionless shinobi that stood in front of them was a bit more radical, as well as harsh, that his own, though it was a revealing break from the now announced Seigen. The mysterious figure introduced himself as patrol reinforcements, and without questioning the title, Kojiro just smiled and waved a hand towards them, "Ah... Makes sense. Welcome aboard!"

Conflict wasn't something that he was seeking at the moment, and just because he seemed naive and oblivious to the dangers that could be present from someone coming from nowhere while attempting to convince their status as an addition to a group, doesn't mean he really was. Kojiro was cautious, though in a lazy fashion. That, and he just wanted to get on with this trip.

Curiously, he peered at Etsuko, hoping that sometime soon he would announce their ETD. He was growing bored of sitting. Of course... he had no idea where they were going. Hell, this could even be the destination they were seeking.
