Yes the man would have to be, to think he could dodge the sands might from all directions just by simply jumping to his right, which ironically, was a factor of the sands flowing ambit. He watched on with a keen gaze at the sand uprooted him from the earth as it ensnared his entire frame slamming him into the earth like the tip of a whip. But something happened, an attack, one that managed to slice through the sands to find its rightful path of direction. He strafed to the side out of harms way, it was a close call indeed, he couldn't afford to underestimate the samurai, not even for a second.
He needed a plan B, a follow up, and within the confines of a split second his mind concocted said plan. His other hand which had not been in any use gave life to mobility as it shot upward as if to reach up and grab hold of the gods that laid within the heavens. With immense speeds more heavy masses of sand vomited from his gourd as it rose into air only to have it crash down in a volley of pikes in attempt to stun and stab his foe all throughout his body. The attack surely would not end the battle but it would leave the samurai in critical condition.
He needed to take evasive action should the samurai avoid his slew of attacks, and he knew just the way to go about it. A clod of sand conglomerated beneath his feet, lifting him fifteen meters into the air, keeping him safe from any impending ground attacks whilst being granted with a vantage point.

Description: With this ninjutsu, the user will bring together sand into cloud shaped clumps, the size of these ‘islands’ depending on the size of the user. These clumps are dense enough for the user or another ninja to rest on. During quick, dangerous attacks, this can allow the user to rise above any threat from below.

Description: One of the few non-lethal yet still effective Saton jutsu, the user will hurl sand into the air which will come down around their target in the form of hard pikes. Electricity will be generated from the pikes to arc towards and attack the opponent. Essentially, if their opponent utilizes lightning, it appears this technique will neutralize its usage in the target by creating an opposing electrical charge that drains or otherwise neutralizes electricity.
