Team Meeting [Mission][Private]

"Where are they? Where are they?"

The young genin searched everywhere, but could not find the mission's meetup spot. The streets of Suna were dusty as usual, but in this particular day, the sun shined with the intensity of a boiling hot volcano. Kouhi's feet grew tired as his pace began to decrease. He had been searching for one hour with no luck. Sure, he could have asked around for directions, but pride got in the way. He finally decided to stop under the shade provided by a nearby building and rest. His tired eyes slowly closed without him knowing. Suddenly he was caught in a deep sleep, sitting on the sides of a sandy street. Kouhi’s back slowly started to slide off of the building’s wall, causing his body to fall. The impact with the boiling ground was enough to wake the boy up. The hit reminded Kouhi of his mission. The thought of his companions, heading on without him fueled Kouhi with energy and determination.

“There is one way I could find the spot.”

Kouhi quickly stood up and brushed off the bits of sand on his brown pants. He then looked up, covering his eyes from the blinding sun.

“This should do perfectly!”

A moment of concentration followed his exclamation. The genin faced the wall of the building upon which he rested. He then proceeded to stretch his legs and his arms as a preparation for what was to come. His legs were scooted shoulder width apart, and his arms ready for action. A determined look could be seen slapped on his face. Silence followed his preparation. Shortly after, this silence was broken by a loud and cheerful noise.

“GO!”

Kouhi’s feet instantly lifted themselves off the ground. A giant leap transported Kouhi from the streets to the rooftop of the building he was facing. The sun was much hotter on the building than on the streets. Its rays felt like needles of pure fire. However, this wasn’t enough to stop the young boy from searching for his friends. The view from the rooftop of the building made it much easier to spot the location. It would have made it easier, if Kouhi wasn’t the one looking for it. Kouhi instantly got distracted by the magnificent view of the village.
“There’s my house! And there is my father’s shop!”
His eyes raced, analyzing every angle and detail of Suna. Suddenly, a thought reached his mind.

“I forgot the mission!”

The boy took a leap off the building and unto another, until finally reaching the streets. His legs raced to reach the meet up spot in time. The boy emanated a huge breath of relief when he noticed that he wasn’t late at all, but he was actually the first one to arrive.

“Ah! I reached our village’s gates in time!”

“Hopefully no one will ever know that I couldn’t find our own village’s gates… That’s just embarrassing…”

All the boy could do now was to wait for the other members to arrive.

Youko stormed out cursing on to the streets straight in the hot sun.
“What the hell do they mean, mission declined! I’ll show them.”
Not knowing where he was going he just walked the streets. He didn’t care where he was going. What the hell was that all about? Mission declined. This thought kept racing through his head. It was unprecedented statement after just succeeding multiple missions. This is bull shit. His heart was racing. This made him so angry and the more he thought about it, the more angry he got. Out of annoyance he set up a mocking voice and repeated what the secretary said to him.
“Mission Declined! Here’s a note for.”
What was that supposed to mean? Was this note supposed to cheer him up? He looked at the note he held in his hand. He forgot all his anger because his anger changed into curiosity. What was on that note? It must have been the reason they declined his mission. It had to be. But what was on the note? Was he fired? All these questions filled his head so fold out the note.

Go meet you’re new team,
at the city gate.
Meeting time: 2 PM

“Shit that is right now.” He started to run towards the city gate. Typically Kazekage’s secretary, ever since the great war they have been too busy doing other things. This caused the delay in these kinds of important messages which leaves the ninja with time trouble. For example, right now. The fact that he had to run the meeting spot was already bad. He hated to pay up for other peoples mistakes. There wasn’t much he could do about it now.

He wondered what his team might look like. It would be lame if he ended up with bunch of losers who just graduated from the academy. On the other hand, they might also be stronger than him. If that was the case, then things might turn out interesting. This was better than any other mission. His rage from earlier was not only turned in curiosity but now also mixed with excitement. He fastened his pace even more. He really wanted to meet them. Some feeling told him that good times would meet* if he’d go on missions with these people.
The sun was baking him that it made sweat break out on his forehead. What a time to meet. He started to doubt about teammates again. Why would they want to meet by the village gate at this hour? Couldn’t they have waited another few hours when it was dark? Well if it were dark than then there were too much people outside and they wouldn’t be able to find each other easily. He sighed and wiped the sweat of his forehead.

He almost reached the village gates. He stopped running he should be on time if kept walking forward from this point on. Not too far from him he saw a figure standing. It was probably one of the ninja waiting for him. He figured he might as well run the last few meters.
When came closer to the person he said.
“Am I on time?”
He bended over leaning his arms on his knees, panted a few times and then look up.
“Excuse me, I’m Youko. Nice to meet you!”

OOC: I wasn't really sure wether or not if it was an actuall grammaticly good sentence, or if it meant what I thought it did. So I thought I just do it this way.( It's a dutching saying I suppose^^)

The birth of something was today, not just the sun rise was to greet him as he shook sleep from his eyes but also the prospects of seeing what his future would start with, he would see today as he heard from the secretary at the kazekage’s residence his potential new team, actually his first team, he had taken steps to ally with other ninja for difficult missions but this was on the other hand a permanent team, one he would see close to every day, in every fight, in every single mission that he chose to participate and even the chuunin exams if he entered in them, they would be close to family for him. That is of course if they got along, he shook a hand through his hair and yawned as he picked out his clothes, he certainly wanted his new acquaintances to be both up to his standards and as well be expert ninja.

Leaving from his place of rest, he made his way to the city gates, as per the instructions of a crinkled white slip of folded paper that he assumed that the rest of his team had also received. Slowly, he would make it on time even at his leisureley pace, he tended to wake up in the general area of whenever he needed to despite how early or how late in the morning or even afternoon he needed to be, and it didn’t take him quite so long to prepare his clothes, clean his body, grab a bite or two to eat, he was pretty low maintenance he supposed, but he also didn’t have like a girlfriend or anybody he really felt he needed to look all preppy for, not even the kage got to see his A game if he didn’t feel like it. He chuckled and laced his fingers together and put them behind his head, pointing his head up towards the sky, his eyes soaking in the details of the sun, the calligraphy of the clouds, he sighed in quaint pleasure, it was a nice humdrum day. He liked a bit of peaceful quiet in-between missions, to soothe his muscles from a long arduous task and then slowly slip into periodic naps followed by eating and then ending in sleeping in.


Still he supposed a first good impression with his new allies to be would be a healthy step in the right direction so he made his way to the rendezvous point with hope in his heart and an optimistic mindset. The Sun shifted a bit as time passed, two figures in front of him, his prospected allies. He drew in a bit closer to them, shouting Hey! Team people? Inquiring and assuming that they were the people he was supposed to meet. The name is Higan, pleased to meet ya. He smiled at the both of them.

Most people would find their own village gates easily, but Kouhi was not one of them. He spent the last two hours searching for the Hidden Sand’s gates. He had finally found them, and was waiting there for his teammates to arrive. Kouhi fell on the sandy road, breathing and panting heavily. Searching for the gates had exhausted the poor ninja. On a normal day he wouldn’t have been so exhausted, he would have been up and running. However, this wasn’t a normal day. The sun was unnaturally hot, and the excitement to meet the members of his new team raised his heart rate to the stars. He didn’t wait there for long until he finally spotted someone running his way. Kouhi tried to look less exhausted to impress the man before him. He stood up and held his breath. The man finally stopped and presented himself to Kouhi. His name was Youku and he was one of the members of the team. Because of his previous effort to make it to the village gate on time, Kouhi was out of breath and was trying his best to keep his cool. He started to breath slowly. If there was no one to impress, Kouhi would have passed out from exhaustion right where he stood. However, he kept his calm and formally greeted Youku.

“Nice to meet you Youko, my name is Kouhi.”

Kouhi analyzed the man who called himself Youko. He was much older and taller than him, but this didn’t intimidate Kouhi in the least. Age, stature or rank didn’t matter to him. All that mattered now is that they were part of a team, making them teammates, meaning that they will have to work together for future missions. Both of the ninjas finally caught their breath and waited for the third one. An awkward silence fell upon the two after they greeted each other. Not knowing what to say, they just both waited for the third member to arrive. Kouhi used to be the social one, but during his travels he lacked people to talk to. Kouhi traveled for two months around different parts of the Wind Country, trading his father’s imported coffee for precious ryo. Recently, Kouhi decided to train and become stronger so that he could travel beyond the Wind Country and protect himself from unknown dangers. His father’s coffee was popular around the Hidden Sand, mostly because of the rarity of the drink in the area. Pondering on the memory of his travels gave Kouhi a great idea to break the silence. He opened his brown satchel that he always wore over his shoulder and drew out of it a small, brown paper bag. He then proceeded to close the satchel and wave the paper bag in Youku’s face.

“Hey! I have a gift for the team's members…. It’s coffee beans!”

Kouhi’s gift giving was interrupted by the arrival of the third member. He introduced himself, with a smile, as Higan. Kouhi’s morale dropped to the ground once he noticed the age difference between him and the newly arrived members.

It seems I’m the youngest here…

He was still waving the brown bag in front of Youku’s face, waiting for him to accept the gift.

Youko finally caught his breath. It appeared that the young man in front of him was named kouhi. He was allot younger and smaller than what he imagined that his new teammates would be. But he couldn’t really blame Kouhi for it, since it wasn’t him who still was a genin at age 19. He wondered if he was only going to team up with Kouhi or whether there were more to come. Maybe there will be joining someone of his age but if there won’t be joining this team then this kid would be pretty amazing for replacing another role in his team. But would he know if there was anybody else coming to join the team.
He was about to ask him about the whereabouts of the other team members. Then Kouhi took off his satchel from his back. Youko watched carefully hoping Kouhi was about to answer his question. To his surprise he got out a small brown paper bag. He then put it right in Youko’s face. He smelled a strong fragrance of something. He didn’t know what caused the smell to be so strong because he wasn’t familiar with it, simply because Youko never drank coffee.
“Hey! I have a gift for the team's members…. It’s coffee beans!”

He was about to push the bag out of his face. That same moment another person stepped towards the two. The man introduced himself as Higan and smiled. He looked at Higan. Seems I’m not the only who’s older than the average genin. He grinned at this thought. He was about to greet him back but Kouhi was still waving a stinking bag in his face. If he knew Kouhi better he’d probably refuse the gift and tell him that whatever was in that bag stinks. But it’s better to first make friends instead of enemies. So for now he ignored the bag until he properly introduced himself.
“Hi, I’m Youko, nice to meet you Higan.”

He tried to put a smile but because of the smell the smile looked very odd. He turned back to Kouhi and took the bag out of his hands and thanked him. As soon as the bag was out of his face he took a deep breath through his nose. It felt really good fresh air running through his nose. He then thought of the satchel on Kouhi’s back. If that satchel was full of those bags then how much more bags was he going to get from Kouhi, especially when he was going to team up with him. Youko gave a very mean look at his satchel. He was certain that as soon as he got home he would throw the bag somewhere in a corner so he would never have to smell that again. Well until he would go a mission together with Kouhi that is.
He dropped the thought, he count three people now. This is good enough for an average team.

“So are we all here, or will there be more people coming?”

Ah, it was a prospective team that he had found and he based that claim not on much, he never was one to judge a person by their looks unless it was a girl, and then he judged critically for he was a man without a girlfriend at the time being. He noticed that the first of the two genin was a little younger than him and the counterpart that was the same the age as him, not a problem at all the age of a ninja didn’t neccesarily dictate his skill, although he pondered if an age barrier would occur and if such an event did start if that would cause dissent among the team, be it minor or major, he couldn’t afford such a grievous error to be made, he needed his team to be strong, kept together to promote his success for as long as he was alive.

Yeah, to the both of you, nice to meet you. He reached into the bag of coffee beans and grabbed about three, perhaps four and popped them in his mouth, they were hard, crunchy, bitter, and they sucked the water straight out of his mouth, but he loved coffee with a passion that few could rival. Through bitter chews that blackened his saliva he sized up his teammates, a bit of caffeine tingling making his eyes feel a bit more open, his body a tad more awake. They looked like decent people, one had even apparently brought a gift, the same very one he was munching on for the group of them, he was certain he would get along with the whole of the group, at the very least where friend ships were concerned, and that in its self was the most important factor in the cohesiveness of a ideal team.

Ah, I do believe the three of us are the only ones in this team He nodded to the both of them And don’t worry, the age doesn’t make a ninja, the spirit does He nodded to the one who was apparently concerned that his age was going to inhibit his passage into the team. So, to start us off I say we do a little introduction. First and last name and then what your specialty is in being a ninja. I’ll start. My name is Higan Hyuuga and I specialize in taijutsu and ration ninjutsu, So I guess mostly close quarters combat, but I can be a bit of a mid-ranged person although I don’t know many ration techniques I plan to learn more! He pointed now to the one who brought the coffee since he had well brought the coffee to the group. What’s your story then?

With the arrival of the third member, the team was finally complete. Like the previous member, who didn’t seem so excited about the gift, Kouhi felt like he owed Higan the same treatment too. He dug through his brown satchel one more time and pulled out a similar looking bag containing the same amount of coffee beans. Kouhi offered the bag to the newly arrived member and waited for his response. To his surprise, Higan gladly accepted the gift presented to him. He grabbed the bag, opened it, and munched on the coffee beans inside of it. He kept drawing his hand in the bag and pulling it out with a handful of the beans, which he ruthlessly crunched between his teeth. The other two members of the team watched Higan with awestruck amazement as he repeated this ritual three times before speaking.

This Higan guy seemed relaxed and carefree, unlike Kouhi and Youku who spent their morning running around the village, trying to arrive at the meeting in time. Unlike them, Higan stood calmly under the blazing desert sun. Kouhi was ready to go home and dump a bucket of cold water on him. However, he tried to listen to the member who was speaking the best he could, without giving the appearance of being weak under the day’s weather conditions. To achieve this, Kouhi held his breath and tried to stand with his back straight, shoulders out and chin up, making him look like he knew what he was doing. On the contrary, this awkward position made him look like a cadet in a training camp, ready to receive orders from a higher authority.

Higan proceeded to formally introducing himself and gave small amounts of information about his strengths and weaknesses to the other members of the team. As he talked, Higan seemed to take the role of the leader in the group. Kouhi’s mind never crossed the thought of a team leader, until now. He looked at Higan, and then proceeded to look at Youku. The fact that they were older than him didn’t really matter in picking the leader of the team. A team leader must have leadership skills and strength! As of now, it seemed that Higan had the lead on the leadership, but his strength was still a mystery, and so was Youku’s. This train of thought lead Kouhi to reconsider his own skills in battle and made him wonder if he was going to be of any use to the team.

Am I going to be the weakest member? Am I going to be the reject of the team? Am I going to…?

Kouhi’s thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a question, posed to him by Higan. He was asked to give a little information about himself to the others. He pondered for a moment on what to say, and then decided to simply list his strengths and weaknesses just as Higan did before him.

“Well my name Kouhi Benda, and as you possibly already figured out, I am the son of the famous coffee trader of the Suna Village. I am determined to become strong enough to protect myself during my travels. Hopefully this team will help me do just that. I am specialized in Fuuton, but my techniques aren’t of the highest level. I am also a fan of fuinjutsu!”

The man who first introduced himself as Higan seemed to be a really in to whatever was in this bag. Youko’s mouth literally fell open when he put a hand full in his mouth. He stared at him with full amazement. Time went in slow motion when he ate the beans he could only hear the cracking of the beans each time he bit on him. There only went one question through his head. Did he just really do that? He snapped out of his thought when he then got an answer to his question. This was going to be his team from now on.
He was satisfied with his team, this might work he thought except for the coffee beans xD. Higan then introduced himself as a Hyuuga taijutsu specialist and a ration ninjutsu user. This kept getting more interesting. A Hyuuga in the team, would this Kouhi also be from some well known family? Quickly after the Higan was done he allowed Kouhi to more properly introduce himself. He seemed to also be from some well known family. Not a family who specialized in fighting, but in coffee beans. Well now he at least knew what was inside of this bag and what coffee beans smell like. He liked Kouhi’s enthusiasm towards getting stronger, just like him. Also just like Youko, he had a futon release. But a specialist in fuinjutsu, he couldn’t compete with that. Well he sure had an amazing team. He then figured it would be his turn. First he looked for the right words and what he was going to say he then started.
“Hello, my name is Youko…” He paused for a second. He forgot about his last name. Since his clan wasn’t really everybody’s favorite and therefore there aren’t allot of members left he didn’t want to tell his last name. They caused for Sunakagure’s infamy and got chased out the country and are now scattered all over the world. He didn’t want to tell them about his clan, not because he didn’t like them but because he was afraid to be rejected. Well he couldn’t be standing there lying to his new team mates also, especially because he got a gourd filled with iron sand on his back. He figured it’d be best just tell them his name but not talk about his ability.
“Youko Zantetsuken.”
He tried to put up a smile but it came out very uncomfortable because it hurt to talk about it. Hoping the smile would cover it he looked around to see if he would get a positive reaction or not. Then he continued.
“I have a futon release though I’m not familiar with allot of ninjutsu. I most likely use my staff in combat but I left it at home because I figured we wouldn’t go on a mission or anything, but I sure can’t wait until we will.”
And he meant that. Though he might be forced to use his powers, no it was inevitable. But then at a more appropriate moment and then it would be more appreciated. Well, he hoped so. Then he looked at both his teammates. Would they known about my clan?

He listened to both of their minor introductions, this would be a good way to open them up and at the same time teach his self about who he was going to work with and how to effectively utilize them to id his combat and out of combat skills and as well at the same time how to conduct the training of their group, even how to personally augment each of them to make them more powerful and better as ninjas in a whole. That however was far away as he swallowed the last dregs of the coffee beans, a few shreds he could feel stuck to the back of his teeth, in such a way that beckoned him to quest for them with a fervor using his tongue, because he had already brushed his teeth and he didn’t quite care to head all the way back to his house and brush his teeth yet another time.

The first of the two the younger one he was presuming as shy, but not too shy and with a benignly good heart and a serious will to improve himself to put himself on the same scale as his older teammates when unbeknownst to him there was scarcely any difference between the three of them together in any way, except perhaps what they specialize in. He would mold his confidence into something greater over the time that they spent together; it was just a matter of him feeling comfortable with this new team and this whole new jump into the greater activities and responsibilities of a ninja. But he would have to stop thinking all about what he was going to do with just one aspect of this ninja and actually listen to the things he was saying, he was genuinely interested in his specialties.

He heard him explain that he was a fuuton user which was in its self pretty damn useful at most points, it was hard for an enemy to dodge fuuton jutsu, for one it wasn’t always a clear cut “oh im over here and visible” sort of attack, sometimes the wind was damn near impossible to see, usually the only time it was hinted was when the ground was torn up to come with it, like in a tornado or a sandstorm or something of that nature. Fuuton experts were often combat experts at the same time, able to adeptly control whether they needed to pressurize some number of pounds of air and then shoot it forth to skewer an enemy or if they needed to gather up large, deafening amounts of air and release it forward in a horrid blast of wind, tearing apart earth and enemy alike. And to top it off he also explained how he was an expert in fuinjutsu, a complicated art that yielded many many different benefits that he was unsure of how to explain himself, he would no doubt be a useful ally.

The second one seemed hesitant, but for a different reason as before he was from hesitancy if anything and was quite amiable in fact. When he revealed that he was an iron sand user he didn’t quite understand why that was cause for any reason of disdain, it was what someone did in the past, not what the man in front of him had done, in other words it was not his fault. He couldn’t help being birthed into the zantetsuken bloodline just as much as he couldn’t have helped being born as a hyuuga, it was simple stuff really. And he was at the same time a fuuton user, at this point higan was a bit cornered being the only other elemental user but that wasn’t really a problem twice the fuuton meant twice the knockback power if he so needed it. It was getting late though, surprisingly rain clouds had come in and they would need to adjourn their meeting. We sound like a pretty solid team, but I don't think any of us can stop these rain clouds. We might need put this on a literal rain check in a few minutes unfortunately

Kouhi listened intently as the member who called himself Youko gave his presentation. He seemed hesitant to open up at first, but he gave in. Kouhi was delighted to learn that another member had experience with fuuton and wondered what kind of jutsus he might know, and if someday he would teach him something new. Kouhi wasn’t familiar with the Zantetsuken clan, or with any of their ability, so Youko’s reasons for his attitude towards the subject were a mystery to him. Kouhi was also paying attention to Higan and the way he reacted towards the information given to him by his two team members. He seemed like a very good listener who pays attention to and is interested by every word spoken to him. Overall, this seemed like a good team to be part of. The members seemed nice and their abilities very interesting to Kouhi, especially the member of the Hyuuga clan. He had heard about the clan before, but he never had the chance to see one fight in real life. As for the member of the Zantetsuken clan, Kouhi was unaware of his abilities, but was definitely curious about them. Once he got back home Kouhi planned to ask his father, who would be old enough to know them, to tell him about the clan.

The weather took a surprising turn for the best as the sun finally was covered by dark clouds. This change delighted Kouhi because he was waiting all day long for the boiling hot sun to depart. Suddenly, out of nowhere the unexpected happened. A drop of rain fell upon Kouhi’s shoulder. He was hesitant to call it rain at first, due to disbelief but to his surprise, a second drop of rain fell on his head. In a simple second the climate had drastically changed. Higan took this change as an indicator to end the meeting, which was perfectly alright with Kouhi. They all separated to go their own separate ways, but as Kouhi was heading towards his home he decided to leave with a final gift. He reached into his bag and called out for Higan, the member who enjoyed his gift as much as eating it straight out of the bag. He then threw a small brown bag containing coffee beans at him. Without looking weather he caught the bag or not, Kouhi turned around and proceeded to run towards his house, trying to make it in time before the rain could pick up.

He was happy that his worst fears didn’t come true, and that his team was all that he hoped for. It was a slight bummer though that none of the team members were girls, but that problem wasn’t one of Kouhi’s greater concerns. Kouhi was concerned about future missions and wondered how they would work together when faced with greater danger. These thoughts gave Kouhi the desire to train and become stronger in advance.

“There’s still time until the next mission… Until then, I will work my hardest to get stronger!”

After they were done introducing each other more properly Youko, noticed that Kouhi bhought the story but Higan didn’t seem to. It made him nervous and uncomfortable when he was introducing himself. To him it was as if they were staring holes in him. When he was done he looked down to the ground avoiding eye contact but not too much for it to be suspicious. Kouhi was a nice kid, maybe a little too naïve but surely a nice guy, too bad that he couldn’t be too enthusiastic about his gift. Because he did appreciate it, he really did but he was disappointed that that he didn’t like it. The best he could hope for was that Kouhi would think he liked the coffee.

As for Higan, he had a neutral thought about him. He didn’t doubt him but he hasn’t seen enough of Higan to have a good glanse at his personality. He hasn’t seen allot of people of the famous Hyuuga clan. He made the team that more interesting to do a mission with because he would like to see a Hyuuga in action. The team hasn’t picked a leader yet but for Youko Higan would seem to fit that role just right. Kouhi would also but when it comes to experience, Higan would clearly have more experience than Kouhi. The reason he didn’t see himself fit was because he wasn’t responsible enough yet to lead a team.
The air got cooler, the only way that could happen was if it would it rain or if the sun would go down, in this case both were happening. He saw Kouhi looking up the sky why raindrops felt on his head. Also he and Higan started feeling raindrops falling on their heads. Higan then suggested it would be best if we stopped the meeting and we would all go home. Kind of sad Youko thought. The hot sun finally disappeared clouds actually came and it would even rain. This doesn’t happen every day but Youko agreed to it. Just as a sign that both of them could go and he would stay behind in the rain. He liked the rain, it didn’t come too often so when it did Youko wanted to enjoy the rain.

He started walking home when it started raining harder. The Hyuuga also left. Then Kouhi stopped and reached out for another paper bag in his satchel and threw the paper bag at Higan. He then realized he didn’t throw a bag at him also. He must have known that he didn’t like the coffee beans. Well he didn’t care at first, but then he realized that if he knew that he didn’t like it. Then he must have also known about his clan. Interesting kid. He small glimpse of a smile was visible at his face.

Now that he knew thought both of his teammates knew about his clan and didn’t judge him at all. He was able to let himself go for now as he wouldn’t be held responsible for his clan. He walked home through the rain probably catching a cold as his clothes were all wet also, but all he could think about what an interesting team he was put up with. That his mission was denied didn’t matter to him anymore, because he had a good team.

They conversed and collabortated on their grassroots relationships of what they would do to make their futures all al little bit brighter by coming together as one functioning unit of three ninjas. The meeting coming to a close with the impending clouds above threatening to shower down upon them with a very interruptive yet appreciated cool source of water, one that would push away the fervid heat of the sun that made the ground so baked and the air capable of sapping the will of someone aiming to go outside or even open their own mouths. Yet he thought that the rain would be coming at an appropriate time, he aimed for this meeting not to last so long that it would be awkward, or that they would have little to nothing to talk about the next time they met up which owould most likely consist of some form of training, the life a genin being comparable to a cycle of eat, sleep, train, rest, train, eat, sleep and of course rinse repeat.

This team needed a leader, one was hesitant due to age, the other was ashamed of the very gift of unique jutsu that he was born with. Higan considered himself the best of the bunch when the stability of the mind was considered, he was cocky in the good way, he was self-confident to the point where he would think he wouldn’t lose a fight even if outnumbered, but he certainly was not foolish enough to go around picking that same fight. He would lead this team for them, and he felt that they looked up to him whether it is directly as a leader or indirectly for some other reason, he didn’t quite know at least not yet. He didn’t need his byakugan eyes to see he had potential to work with here, he could see each of their positive qualities plain and simple.

He caught the bag being thrown at him, the fragrant smell of coffee making his mouth water as the bag crunched against his hand. He’d have to keep this bag and remember it, to remember the day he met up with his first team of genin. It was a wonderful and most memorous occasion to meet these two, because it wasn’t just a group of friends that had been formed and no it wasn’t also just a team that had been made it was the beginning of something bigger, it was the first step to his true adulthood, to becoming a chuunin then a jonin and after that it could even lead to something greater. He didn’t know if he aspired to become the kaze kage, but at this point anything was possible what with his future being a bit If not rather open ended. So he headed home, and with alacrity lest the showers suddenly appear and cause him to be soaked beyond comparison. He didn’t want the downpour of a summer day become a dapper on his mood until he fell asleep.

Mission Information: The Kazekage wants to promote unity in her village, and so has asked that all eligible genin come together to form teams of three. Considering the sordid amount of chuunin and jounin at the moment, the three are allowed to pick a leader amongst themselves, along with a name. Spend a bit of time together and learn more about one another!
Special Information: To complete this mission, 3 genin must take the mission with one another. 1 can be sent in to ask for the mission so long as they state the names of the other 2 members. Then simply roleplay in a thread for a while, getting to know each other. After the mission is complete, post your team (with name and leader) in the team thread stickied in Sunagakure no Sato.
