Beyond the origin of the city of suna lies a very ancient cavern which is said to be the central point of all criminal organizations, the Scarlet Abyss. Located within the brim edge of the southern tip of suna hidden beneath a vault behind a giant rock with a hole in its side. It is unknown to the commoners of Suna like the shinobi allegiance who have no high authority and the citizens who dwell within the city for its protection.

If they knew how protected they actually were against this place of refuge though they might have changed their mind before choosing the village as their place of residence. Word has gotten out that they plan to take over the suna’s government and to tear its social structure down piece by piece.

There are few who know of this truth but it is spreading quickly within the ears of the men and women of the village. To such extent people have begun to prepare for war by stocking up their supplies and eating bare minimum to survive the day. Little has been said from Etsuka Youka, the current shodaime, who has recently gone missing from the village.. so the council found it important to find Aero at this time to lead the village as a temporary seat holder.

He was of no importance in the past but seemingly held it here now gleaming behind the shadowing crevices of the future. The uchiha tapped his fingers along the wooden desktop of the shodaime’s tower whilst unveiling his eyes amongst the crowd of government officials protruding the room. Aero remained seated with his feet perched up on the table with one overlying the other. His hands stayed entwined within its fingers as he cleared his throat to speak.

“ Excuse me. But what’s the deal..? Why am I here..? ”

The room fell silent as the young genin spoke aloud atop of his throat. He could feel the irritation scratching at it as his voice echoed throughout the dense walls of the council room. His knees now stood parallel to the walls and his back erect to the seat in perfect poise. Eyes painted with blood danced angrily around the room… noticing the round table of ANBU captains and council seat holders. Aero awaited an answer from them timidly whilst maintaining his stature.

You are the only blood relative we could find that is eligible to take place as temporary kage… until Youka returns that is…

Another silence befell the faces of the many who lay dormant around the room, especially Aero. His eyes protruded out the socket as the words registered through to him. It certainly was hot in the tower… the sweat emasculating his face gave good prediction to the heat searing on the outside. It was even hotter within the very room he was sitting in. With a slight gulp he swallowed all doubt he had left in his mind and conjured up a response.

“ What has happened…. To Etsuko Youka..? Where is she..? ”

None answered and few distant whispers clouded the shadows of the room. With nostrils flared the young uchiha stood up and with a slamming fist revolted against the silence.

“ I said… WHERE IS SHE!? ”

A figure from the back etched his hand forth for attention. His mask was painted grey with claw marks along the nose. There were green dots painted along the chin of the mask… he was of the neko brotherhood.

We believe she has been kidnapped, sir. She was last seen wandering the ocean front.. a place where the scarlet abyss is said to have base. But we cannot be given orders to investigate without higher authority..

Aero stood in place now without a word to say. His mind was racing. He thought of all the suna shinobi who had no idea their kage was missing…. and all the danger that now surrounded the village which had been put into his hands for the time. A feeling of nausea overtook the uchiha before he burst through the crowd onto the ledger outside from a window in order to hurl on the outside.

But to stand in the dark rather than take a seat, a bare muffled string of speech running through the ears of his; Yasui. As if boredom had stricken him down would he stand in slight awe, wonder even. A pointless motive had brought him to such a dark and distant point of Suna. The many possible reasons he could be here weren't even to settle for all but the Uchiha's glare was subtle. A sigh... Yet again had he found a reason to question himself as if he hadn't been sure enough of himself. Thoughts as such never mattered to one who hated to dirty himself so desperately, a moment but passing would his right hand slide from the steady length Onyx and crimson cloak sleeve before swaying across his face. Eyes left to sight by all who took him into acknowledgement; silk violet feathers pushed from his visage.

As if he would be up and out in no time, he'd remained at ease in wonder and dear stiff. It was his own intelligence that disturbed him at times... Knowing too much hadn't always been a positive thing for even the slightest slip up could leave a bare child in a pit crying for his life. Yasui would turn his attention to those before him, not that there had been many; he would resume. Arms rising to his chest symbolizing impatience arising. Truthfully growing disappointed with whatever the problem would be. Straight forward, it was never in him to wait on others or even make others wait for him. Disrespectful yet frustrating it seemed movement was what kept the Pacifist breathing. Come to think of it, there hadn't been a single moment where he had recently come into interaction with the Current Kazekage, sadly. Things such as this were within the contents of Suna itself. Indeed he would wait.

It was hard to say what brought her to this point. Responsibility, duty she had been told, but to what or to whom? There had been rumors nothing more and now this meeting of council members and the Special Forces unit. A bit too secretive for her tastes and yet that did not stop others from seeing the benefits of her attendance. In that way they could ensure that the village was stable and safe from outside threats such as the growing activity of criminal organizations. However, what followed neither she nor they expected. As she lingered with her arms folded and gourds at her side, conversation stirred and rose to a height of straining adversity and rising tension. Order was needed and for that there was a transfer of power to restore it.

Although she was not sitting, Fumiko wasn’t exactly hiding her presence by lurking in the shadows of the room. She stood just off to the side of the round table at the center, watching as seated members spoke, explained and thereafter tried to grasp hold of a rapidly deteriorating situation. Someone had been kidnapped, but not just any someone, she recognized the name: Etsuko Youka, the Kazekage. Her eyes widened a bit at the realization that someone so high up in power could be vulnerable, but otherwise she only rubbed a hand gently across the scarf that hung around her neck, shielding it.

A group by the name of Scarlet Abyss seemed to be the culprits, at least that is what she deduced from the council members description of the kidnapping. She had been taken from the ocean front an area suspected to hold one of their bases. Still, it was rather surprising that a group such as that were skilled enough to get the drop on an experienced shinobi such as the Kazekage. Honestly, it was a bit frightening. Regardless, now was not the time to voice the idle opinions of her guardians. She remained silent and waited.

The moment was brief enough for Aero to wipe off the mucus from his mouth with his sleeve diligently before standing back to face the council. He was probably the youngest person in the room he thought. But to be chosen as the official to lead the village in Youka’s disappearance disturbed Aero. His hands griped at the tension he felt from her being alone without any aid from her village. With teeth gritted the uchiha spoke once more to the plethora of curious entities.

“ I need a series of teams. One will be my personal team, team shodaime, which will serve as a base team for the rest. I want to see an organized number of squadron with one leader of each and after those have been assembled we will regroup here in 0500 hours… ”

The sound of moving chairs and increased chatter filled the room after the command was given. Everyone moved out just as he said and began their search for their teams. Five hours wasn’t enough time for Aero to get his own team together but to be honest he just wanted everyone who was a part of the council to be out of his way so he could think for a bit. His head shook between his hands as he cleared his throat, mind soothing into a darker pit.

Breath slipping through Yasui's nostrils as he looked over the table toward the one who had been to replace the current Kazekage. Wonder fishing through his mind all the while it was like a never-ending question repeatedly setting itself beneath the Uchiha's attention. An eyebrow would rise as his lips parted in a slight gesture of confusion and disgust. This...person.. of all people had been to sit in what was to be considered a throne. It was obvious the Council was dumb, the quizzical look sitting firmly over the tense Uchiha's face had proved it. However, this was something that needed to be dealt with at another time; Envy? It wasn't of normal nature after all. As if the high caliber shinobi would even lower himself to such standards. Rainbow pearls falling shut would he hang his head, nearly burying his chin in his chest and let out but the tiniest cackle. A light breath after, and his attention would resume planted upon the man across the table.

It wasn't like him to let an outburst in way. Though annoyed, he would turn to walk around the table, silently - yet swiftly to come aside this "candidate" for Kazekage and only cut himself a few steps short of making it. Not the slightest would he even shift his person though he would barely cut his eyes to the "other" (Fumiko) in his presence before returning to his previous acting. "Uchiha, Yasui.." slowly had his lips left one another before the words that came to mind would fall off his tongue. He'd paused, willing to continue but first he would take his gaze back to the Male (Aero). Voice cold and nearly a whisper... it would've actually been nothing of a surprise if either of the two could hear what he had lugged from his face hole. The sight of Yasui at this point was disappointing. Looking as if he'd demons... bad memories or even issues of some sort; he was human, and only human.

As if he could reach for the blade at his right and easily discard the lives of his fellow villager before him. Could he? "I've a will to take your side and build on Suna." he said, eyes lingering upon the door to Aero's soul, "No matter what happens, acknowledge that I myself am a Pacifist and will only set harm to others if I have no choice. Think of it as religion, those too have their exceptions." he spoken in yet the same tone toward the two around this table and still would he stand.

The scuffling of chairs and idle chatter was bearable but only because she found her eyes lingering on the two that did not move. The newly appointed Kazekage had given his orders and those that left respected them. She was not a part of the council and as such remained behind to see if she could be any use; perhaps lighten the burden that had been place so suddenly upon his shoulders. Before she could act however, the other that had remained had come around and across to the opposite side of the round table and was now jumping straight into his rather bitter formalities.

Briefly, he had met her gaze and she had felt the spark within in them. Was he not happy with the new decree? She wondered. Perhaps he even thought that Suna was better off with him at the helm of authority? Regardless, his first impression came riddled with distilled envy and yet he still was willing to help in any way he could. Claiming beset pacifism but also offering that should a situation arise he would gladly take the lives of any and all those that would seek to do harm to the village. Truly a hard individual to read and thusly a dangerous one at that; however, now she found that she had lurked to long within the background, lost in her own thoughts. Therefore, shortly after he introduced himself she stepped hesitantly into the picture.

Interaction was a subtle art and one she hadn’t really ever understood. For most of her life she did as she was told and in turn she benefited from following orders. Being sent here was a command, true enough, however she was less worried about stepping on the toes of those whom she regarded as family here. From the looks of it, Aero could use all the help he could get with the former Kazekage kidnapped and now most likely held within a criminal stronghold. However, even though her loyalty in this case was clear, she still found herself scared to speak up out of turn. She inhaled deeply and managed to give her name:

“Sunagami, Sunagami Fumiko.” Her tone was light, soft and relatively hesitant. “I’m at your disposal if you wish.” She bowed her head respectfully and then turned, briefly meeting eye to eye with Yasui. She thereafter backed up a pace feeling a bit crowded after stepping forward so abruptly. As she then waited for the no doubt following conversation, she played with the scarf around her neck nervously.

Aero looked through the crevices of his hand to see one of his uchiha brethren treading upon the hardwood floor beckoning to his position. He was very flattered in what he had to offer but not because he needed help… but because it was being offered. Aero stood up and took a good long look at Yasui wondering whether or not the seriousness was carved into his flesh with the dagger of courage or simply wiped upon it like lotion being applied to the arm.

A soft sigh mumbled underneath his tongue as he attempted to respond. The voice of another caught his words in mid-drift before they even touched the surface of the atmosphere. Fumiko. The name rung bells within his head but he could not remember why. With a slight nod he props against the table in order to meet face to face with them both in order to clear his memory of the haze which now troubled him.

Aero was never the type to brush people off. He liked welcoming them in and building on relationships… but today wasn’t his time of fortuitous moments so his voice seemed a little down. The gleaming look within his eyes screamed business. With such high authority came new measures so he couldn’t play the good guy with everyone anymore. There was a mystery afoot and he needed a special forces team that could help him accomplish it. So far he’d only gained one but there was possibly another in waiting.

Words spilled forth like water to marble fountains. His words exuberated an voice that was re-assuring to them both. The beast of vengeance snarled within him begging for help from these two strangers like the voice of a deity beaming down among the wicked. He awaited his response.

The moment of silence which Yasui was beginning to consume would be broken swiftly, by shattered speech. Though it was of use to him for several future reasons. Introductions were best needed at a time as such. Her name would easily be remembered but what she would speak next was truthfully disappointing in his eyes. To be used at one's disposal? Possibly just mere misunderstanding in meaning. As if he'd taken a blow to the stomach, the feeling was disturbing; his focus was withering and such could be seen by the pointless steps forward he'd begun to take. Certain strings of speech clearly got to him but it was a method of restraining oneself mentally that kept him stable. Jaw tightening, he would grow stiff and place his attention back to this "kazekage".

The attire was surely intriguing for Yasui's interest in the makeshift idol would expand. Of his history he wanted to know. Call it a background check if you will. No man was perfect in his eyes for the simple fact that there was always a stain in one's past. With light breaths as that of a sleeping child would the words of Aero be taken in as the straining Uchiha's mood would settle. Flesh slowly chilling as if the temperature had dropped. It was clear to him now, for some reason he'd been uncomfortable to the point where his eyes would lower to his dangling sleeves - his arms folded against his chest. Without doubt would he aid the man in this investigation he spoke of. It mattered nothing to him that the previous Kage was a relative, but more of personal thing. It clicked that this wouldn't anything of ease and this is what peeved him, barely.

It wasn't like the mercenary mind Uchiha to crave but... there were certain things that he needed. This world to him was nothing; it couldn't survive on it's own and none of the several breed of shinobi roaming could either. Poor pawns on this chessboard plucked around by higher ups. It was pathetic but this was what most people accepted as reality. Yasui would release a sigh before taking his sight back to. "I don't like to get my hands dirty, Osoguri. But I will aid you. You have my morals in-mind." he'd speak, clearly and but a bit louder this time. A sincere look crawling all over him and all the while he'd been coated with a snake, sinister aura. Low and disturbing.

“N-no,” Fumiko had responded, however failed to elaborate further and instead allowed the final introduction to proceed. She respectfully waited in turn for her time to speak again. Raised to respect those of high authority and men in particular, she wouldn’t want to interrupt; not until the moment was pristine and as free of confrontation as it possibly could be. During that time she looked between the two as they spoke. Although not very well-versed when it came to bloodlines and their diverging relatives, she noticed that they both had the same dark red eyes. Perhaps they were related in some way, but differing surnames seemed to add up against that notion. Regardless, such facts became trivial when one regarded the matter at hand.

She let her scarf fall loosely out of her hand. He was related to the kidnapped, a brother in fact. Though, it seemed at bit odd that before this crime he had not even known of her existence. In fact, she felt like she had misinterpreted the meaning behind his words. However, such purposeless thoughts were quickly dismissed as she raised a hand to brush some stray bangs out of her eyes. There was no reason to dwell on a matter that she would be unable to pursue further. It would not only be rude to further inquire about his relationship to the ‘missing’ Kazekage, but downright out of place.

When the other replied, she looked to him but thereafter immediately adverted his gaze. His eyes were cold and riddled with something that she could not properly describe. There was something about him that just felt wrong and the gateway to that feeling was held within his eyes. Coupled with that were his icy words and the way he explained that he didn’t like to get involved in certain matters. However, he would still help? She predicted that his intentions were truly slippery at best. However, it was not her place to speak ill of a potential comrade, not until she understood him better. For now she was content with merely keeping her attention elsewhere; like upon the rope that held up the gourds at her side. She fiddled with it and tightened and looped it until the silence between them gathered again. Thereafter, she made a quick glance with her eyes between the two to make sure it was fine to speak again.

“I was sent as a representative of the Sunagami to this council, and they would have me lend support in any way you see fit. As I said, I am at your disposal Osoguri-sama.” She bowed her head, if only to further show respect and the well-wishes of her family. Personally, she had no stake within this growing conflict. However, she would rather be sent away than to abandon a cause that would serve to benefit the people of Suna.

Feeling the suns tiresome rays on the young Shinobi's forehead, he quickly swiped away the beads of sweat. Sui was running as fast he could to the Council room of Sunagakure. while away to the center of the country of Kaze no Kuni, he got a distress call from the Kage tower that the Shodaime Kazekage had gone missing. Only a select few were given this top secret information, he was of the privileged few. Lady Etsuko Youka was a fair and generous leader. He was luck to be under her tutelage as a child. She was a mentor to the young adult.

Climbing the steps of the ambient large tower, he could only cringe. What had happened to his Shodaime. No one was briefed on her situation. He would just going to go into the room and pledge himself to bringing the Kazekage back to Sunagakre. He reached the summit of the large building and waited. He waited to catch his breath, Sui didn't want to go into the legislature of Suna and be to winded to speak. He opened the door and saw the room empty. Where was everyone? He thought to himself before peaking his head in the door. He then saw two males and a female. They looked oddly familiar.

Aero’s eyes diverted from Fumiko for just a second as the response from Ichiro commenced. The comment of his hands getting dirty threw the uchiha off of his train of thought. His eyebrows quirked to the side as this was said because the team he would be putting together would be doing that very thing… getting their hands dirty. The response protruded from Aero’s moisten lips just after a few seconds of thought… “tch…ok.” The sarcasm permeated his figure with absolutism brinking every word. Optics orbited back towards Fumiko shortly after. She had now begun to stagger within her speech as she confronted him. She was cute to Aero and his thoughts would have gotten the better of him if he were not sitting where he had been now, knowing what he now knew.

His words spit forth fire into the veins of Ichiro and Fumiko, he was sure of that because of the way he gave thanks… ensuring their safety and victory with eyes of crimson stirring into their emotion. After a quick glimpse of them he then stood to his feet with his fists pushed upon the table for prop. Just as that second passed by another shinobi found his way around the dark corner of the hidden room in attempts to join the committee that had already subsided. It were only a few more hours now until everyone met back to regroup but it was good that more people were making their way to the aid of the village.

He had spoken bare words, Aero. It wouldn't even click at the very moment to Yasui that it had been sarcasm but nevertheless he had spoken his part and needed to do nothing more. As the Kazekage's attention would shift would the Uchiha spare a disfunctional breath before his eyes fell shut. What the man before him was thinking had been completely irrelevant to him. There was no care for such at this point and being in this little "room" any longer would surely crack the shackles that held the psychotic beast restrained. Breath that stenched the very air he'd breathed, near contagious to those unsuspecting victims; blood thirsty for flesh to split his eyes had shimmered beneath the light of the room. Thoughts to roam as if he'd completely shifted his mind, all perceptions twisting - Never.

Careless for what more speech the Kazekage could speak at the very moment he had grown. Jaw tightening as he took bare steps past Aero, eyes lingering upon his garment for a moment or so before he looked to Fumiko, disgust flowing within his multi colored birth rights. As an Uchiha it was obviously stuck within the mind that he'd been but untouchable; like all who'd taken the naive path. As if he were birthed a Prodigy. Bullshit thoughts he would consider them, silver breath to spawn that of the irony he'd find himself spying in due time. With but a swallow had his sight take to Fumiko's eyes. Had it truly been necessary to give off the wrong vibes to that of a new ally? Doubtfully but this was something that the Uchiha hadn't cared for if he didn't care for feelings of his own. Everyone had been little within the mind but he himself was smaller than actually thought, when it came to social skill at least.

"Time will show you all you need to know of me... Observe." he would speak, voice grim and falling from him as though he'd something disturbing pushing through his mind; something he needed to prove. A sigh, his eyes would once more fall shut, speech directed toward Fumiko.

“It’s not my place to understand, only to help.” Her words matched with a smile and thereafter a nod, Fumiko took her place back from them and went about fiddling with her scarf once more. However, it was rather hard to ignore the new arrival that had no sooner burst into the formerly held council room. Perhaps burst was the wrong word, considering she only got a glance of his peering head in the doorway. Composure seemed to be the least of the worries as he addressed them with moderate confusion on his own belatedness and the reasoning the council was no longer present within the walls of the room. Luckily, that soon would be resolved for the present Kazekage had invited him inside properly resolve and explain the current situation.

Even that distraction didn’t keep her eyes away from him: the one whom looked upon her with an emotion she couldn’t quite describe. What was clear was that it didn’t make her feel good, not in the least bit. His glare, although brief, left a bitter taste in her mouth the longing for him to walk and look on past her. When he finally did, it was only to take a brief reprieve and speak with confidence once more. Whatever knowledge and intellect he bore seemed to give him either a farce edge or a truth that neither she nor Aero could properly understand. However, such confidence was often ill-begotten and riddled with trust issues. Truly, he would be one hard to work with, but in the end perhaps it wouldn’t matter what he thought, or what she did for that matter. If that was true though, why would he want to spook his allies?

Regardless, now was not the time to worry; it was a time for planning. Much would need to be arranged if the Kazekage truly wanted the mission to proceed as quickly as possible. Teams would need to be formed and recruited and the council would have to be updated of the status of the mission upon their return in a few hours. In that way, she couldn’t remain silent about the affair before them. Urgency was necessary, but at the same time she had to ensure that her family was properly informed as well. It was with that in mind she spoke, before the newcomer had a chance to break free from confusion.

“I-I will have to inform my family prior to the start of the assignment. However, that can be arranged by messenger. I-I’ll remain here with you.”

He was late, of course he was. Sui Monban was already making a name for himself as the carefree ninja who was the last to react. How troublesome. He peered in through the doorway and w three shinobi, about his age standing around the High council of Sunagakure table. This was mighty questionable. He made sure to look up and make sure they all had Sand headbands. The newly instated Kazekage addressed Monban. He was star stuck.

"Yes Lord Kazekage, I am Sui Monban, Genin of Sunagakure. I Specialize in Summoning Jutsu and am ready and willing to aid in you endeavors."

He said to the man who had spoken to him. He said bowing and showing he is a courteous ninja. the young genin adjusted his head and saw the other two ninja. one a girl, the other a man.

"Hello, please excuse me if I don't act myself."
