I danced around in the warm air of Tsuchi no Kuni, it was a truly beautiful day. It was as if the sun laid out a welcoming party to me, which, to be perfectly honest, wasn't too far fetched. ''Danke, herr sun. I zhink you're very nice too. Just stop vith zhe calls, ja? Ahaha!" I was so happy, but at the same time, I was starving. I hadn't eaten anything since I saw that massive, sexy ox. And my lust for the big hunk of chakra that had tried to hit on me prior made my starvation even more obvious. I had to feed.

''Snake boy? SNAKE BOY? VHERE ZHE FUCK ARE YOU? I SVEAR, I HAVE BEEN VAITING ALL DAY, GET HERE IMMEDIATELY OR.. GET HERE IMMEDIATELY, I SAID SO I SAID SO I SAID SO!"

I snapped, and for good reason. He had kept me waiting for days, I sent that message HOURS ago, how the hell was he not here yet? Why would he keep me waiting? ''I bet it is zhat tart zhat rode a massive titan of shit. Vhat a fucking asshole, he even caused an earthquake. I hope he dies.. I vish he vas dead. NEIN, I VANT HIM TO SUFFER, ACH, NEIN, NO. SUFFER." I began sobbing, life was so unfair to somebody as beautiful as me. But it was to balance it out, I knew it. But the inevitable Valhalla I faced in the future wasn't enough to cheer me up, not right now, at least.

''NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN, FEED ME, FEED ME. I AM SO FUCKING HUNGRY, NEIN. GOD DAMN IT, VHY ZHE FUCK IS ZHIS TAKING SO LONG?"

I threw myself onto the ground, back first, my claymore and bare chest getting muddied in the damp dirt that surrounded me, this was a perfectly understandable reaction. If I wasn't going to get what I wanted immediately, I'd beg and sob until I did. Whatever sky wizard lived in the sky wasn't going to deny his favorite child, right? .. Right?

It hadn't taken Kain very long to figure out where his friend was, all he needed to do was be quiet and listen for screaming - Gentle was very predictable that way. He hadn't seen his chef friend since the Bijuu incident, where they worked together to fight the beast, but at the same time they also witnessed the unfortunate death of their friend that completed the cooking trio, his demise obviously dropping them down to the cooking duo - but to be perfectly honest, it wasn't like Kain particularly cared, Gentle was his only real friend amongst the two.

"There he is.."

The screams of "snake boy" echoed in the distance in that thick accent Gentle spoke in, but amongst the shouts of his nickname, Kain could pick up the shouts of "FEED ME", and wasn't it just his luck that he happened to be bringing the corpse of the Uchiha along for their meeting? Behind the Kagehebi were two large snakes, each dragging one half of the severed man, although his head was notably missing having been claimed by the swordsman, although he was sure Gentle wouldn't mind.

"Oi! Stop shouting."

Kain called out to his friend, slow strides bringing him closer and closer until he'd finally drop and sit on the ground, the snakes still continuing passed their master with the corpse in tow, the lines of blood left in their trail proving just how fresh of a kill it was,

"Brought you lunch."

''God? I promise, I'll do anyzhing you vant. I'll pray, be a good boy and even help people. Just please, please give me somezhink to eat. Somezhink scrumptious."

I was on my hands and knees, I knew no masters but I was willing to lie to that big, bearded sky wizard. He always had a way of believing my lies. ''And I promise I'll actually come through vith it zhis time, ja? I'll build like.. an orphanage or somezhink. Please, just any-- ja, nevermind. Fuck you." I was saved, I needn't beg anymore. My meal was here. As if a deity as immaculate as me had answered my call, I saw my former companion, his two friends in tow carrying a future meal.

''Oh, ja. Zhat's vhat daddy vants."

It was there, right there. An already prepared lunch waiting just in front of me, it was so arousing. ''Hey zhere herr snake boy. Zhanks for making me vait." I groaned like a scorned girlfriend, my hands brushing my beautiful, blonde hair behind my shoulder. God I was sexy. ''Vhat's the story vith zhis guy? Did he get mauled by a bear or somezhink?" I asked as I knelt down in between the corpse, my hand ramming itself into the damp, cold cavern of his body.

''Ja, ja. Still tight, guess he must have been a virgin, AHAHAHAH-HAH-AHAHA-HAHAHAHA."

I screamed happily as I fished around inside of him, his bones and internal organs being forced to shift as I searched for my first course. That was when I finally stumbled upon it, a big, juicy lung. Splendid. ''Ve have ourselves a vinner!" I announced as I tore the lump of flesh from his body, my eyes staring with delight as I unclipped my mask with my bloodied hand. ''Mmmm, smells vunderbar." Licking my lips in anticipation, I immediately stuffed the organ into my starving mouth, the combined mixture of my overflowing saliva and the gunked up, chunky blood causing louds squelches and spats.

''MMMMMMMMNGH, ZHIS IS SIMPLY.. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL, VHERE DID YOU FIND ZHIS SPECIMEN?"

I screamed out gleefully through the veil of organ that covered my mouth and face, the last of the mans organ being swallowed with a loud slurp. ''Ah.. g-goodness." I found myself blushing at the warm feeling in my stomach, my body immediately heating as I felt his remains travel down my throat. Without a second to spare, I quickly stuffed my hand back inside of his body, my digits scouring for more worthy food. ''So, how vas your day?"

Snake Boy? Those two words alone caught the attention of the snake, as he roamed through the rocky terrain. The term that this stranger had used referred to the Kagehebi, people that deal with snakes and are truly entwined with them. And hearing such words, caused Makoto to realize that one of his own were in this land - catching his attention greatly. He quickly went in the direction of the being that continued to yell; claiming to want food for some reason. But the more the Kagehebi listened to the mysterious man, the more he realized what kind of food he had in mind -

He was clearly a monster, a man that devoured human beings for food. And the closer the snake got to the location of the voice, the sooner he began to be engulfed in rage. Standing twenty meters away from the two beings was Makoto, peaking behind a boulder that could cover his being. The boulder was standing to the rear of the two, as he waited. He was quiet, as he watched the lifeless body being devoured by this monster, but as he carefully watched, he quickly noticed it was Genryu.

Anger was no longer a term that could be used to describe his emotions, no - it was beyond that. Allowing the snake to quickly form several seals, as chakra began to ready itself for the jutsu he was preparing (1). And though he was already playing the offensive, Makoto had decided to prepare himself to take attacks as well, just in case things didn't go as planned (2).

Kain could only chuckle to himself, amused by Gentle's antics as usual, the screaming, shouting and gruesomeness of it all being the twisted humour he enjoyed. When they had first met, Kain had found the cannibalism of his friend to be off-putting, but he had grown used to it in time, and now it was to the point where he was literally bringing him a body to eat, and he was WATCHING him tear into it.. and the more he thought about it, the more he realized just how fucked up this really was. With his palm tucked under his chin the Kagehebi sat quietly, tongue flicking in and out of his mouth, tasting the air and the scents all around him, the strongest being the smell of the corpse, but the most interesting? Well, that would be the brief whiff Kain would catch, his snake-like senses allowing him to not only identify the scent, but the location in which it was coming from,

"Oooh, we have company, Gentle.."

Kain had sprung to his feet by now, right hand tucked into his pouch before emerging with a tagged shuriken, a mere flick of the wrist sending it flying in the direction of the boulder that was obviously being used as cover. Kain recognized the smell from the gates as the one who fled, but what bothered him the most was the fact he was trying to HIDE? Did he not realize he stepped into the territory of a predator?

"Get the fuck out here."

The projectile would only take a couple seconds to cover the distance, and seeing as the boy behind the rock would have to deal with the burden of handsigns, he'd find that he'd have an explosion on his hands while trying to complete them, or as he attempted to launch his attack, depending on the difficulty of said jutsu - and regardless of which, he would find his location revealed and the creation of his defense interrupted, lest he wished to stand in place and be pelted with chunks of rock.. oh yeah, and fire. Now while the attack wasn't intended to be lethal, it definitely carried its risks - but all Kain wanted was for him to come out, was that too much to ask?!

Description: Snakes are able to user their elongated forked tongue to both taste and smell. By using this tongue, they are able to sample particles in the air, water, or ground to determine the presence of prey or predator within the area. This allows them to react to danger or seek out their prey with greater efficiency. The Kage-hebi duplicate this skill using their own elongated tongues to detect any creatures in the vicinity; whether through their smell or taste.

''Mmmm, so good. Zhis is really high quality meat, ja?"

I was ecstatic, not only did I have a meal infront of me, but it came pre-prepared. This guy must have sucked to have gotten cleaved in half so easily, and not only that, but Kain seemed to be pretty unscathed. Did he not even land a hit? Pitiful. ''Vhat? Somebodies here? HAHAHAHAHA, ZHAT'S HILARIOUS!" I screamed out in laughter as I ripped my hand out of the gaping, bloody hole of the corpse. My hand grasping another thick chunk of various organs.

''Hey, come out here, I vant to test a new technique!"

I spoke with a mouth full of meat, my free hand removing my nearly six foot tall claymore from my back. This was going to be interesting. ''Okay, Kain. Vatch zhis, ja?" I wasn't sure what I was doing, it was as if my hips were moving on their own, but as soon as I had rammed that large, dangerous sword in between my legs, I began spinning. Making sure to keep it steady for perfect form, I continued spinning towards the boulder Kain had previously tagged and aimed to explodify. Would this coward come out and face me?

''Fifteen seconds, little baby. Fifteen seconds to strike ozhervise I am going to MASSACRE you, you got me?"

Makoto had completed his seals, but as he ready himself to strike; a surprise attack had came forth. The enemy had flicked a kunai with a note towards the boulder, causing an explosion in a matter of seconds. Smoke engulfed the snake, veiling him from his enemies and veiling them from him, “Don't you think that's really unneeded? I didn't even attack you guys.” He emerged from the smoke (standing around 15 meters away), his frame being covered in black scales (2), whilst he katana rested in his left hand.

He was actually surprised that they had spotted him, maybe one of them was gifted with a Dojutsu of the sort. But nonetheless, the entities became one, for he was ready whenever they were. “You see that guy right there is my friend an-?” He was cut off short by the monster that had eaten Genryu, but as the monster began to talk - Makoto simply placed the tip of the katana in mother earth, allowing everything to unfold in the most humblest way possible. He had made sure to keep his auburn pools on the monster specifically, as he began to chant about fifteen seconds to attack and a bunch of nonsense.

Too be frank, Makoto didn't need fifteen seconds, for everything was going to end right now. Around the same time the male had placed the massive weapon between his legs, would be the same time that the snake's strike would arrive. It was silent, yet deadly - moving at the speed of lightning itself and quickly engulfing the being with several voltages of lightning, causing death instantly to his body (1). And the fact that he had such a large weapon made out of metal between his legs, would allow a great advantage for the lightning attack.

Whomever they targeted will soon be victim of a quick traveling electrical surge from below, invisible only until it arrives at its target. It emerges from below them, surprisingly fast so that it shocks the victim whole.

I collapsed on the ground and twitched a bit, before my sword exploded and ripped me in half because of science and stuff. ''T-Tunnel.. snakes.. rule.."

Well, today was just going to be eventful all around, huh? No sooner did Kain wish to relax with a friend did the second man show up, making this what, round two? With a flick of the wrist and an explosion, Kain had hoped to only scare the man out, he didn't expect the attack to actually land! Seeing as the man opt'd to continue his attack instead of stopping to defend himself, you would've been pelted by large chunks of rock, scraps of metal from the shuriken, and bathed in fire leaving him burnt all over, patches of his clothing burned completely off.. but y'know, rather than defending himself or anything, he kept his eyes fixated on the spinning cannibal, using up a great deal of chakra and energy to fire lightning at him, and THEN form his defence.

"Gentle!"

Kain watched wide-eyed as his friend went up in sparks, the electricity seemingly coming from beneath him as it lit him up like a lightbulb, the lightning arcing violently across his sword and no doubt stopping his heart. In just a split second, Kain witnessed the death of yet another of the cooking trio, leaving him the only surviving member - and when you considered Gentle was an actual friend, you could be sure as shit he was mad, very mad. Brows furrowed over red eyes, teeth digging into his lower lip with a groan, and with all desire to talk to this man gone out the window, Kain would move in for the kill. Seeing as the Leaf shinobi had suffered extensive injuries due to the explosion, and was now drained of his stamina thanks to his armour, he was essentially a sitting duck, and in PERFECT range for a quick-strike attack. All at once, 10 large serpents shot themselves out from his sleeves, stretching as quickly as they could to close the distance while curving as to approach from all sides. There was little the man could do to defend in his condition, and the armour wasn't going to do him much good, since each snake carried a heavy enough bite to pierce right through,

"You piece of shit!"

Kain shouted loudly, his voice echoing into the distance, the serpents likely closing in on him by now. Now, unless he found some way to evade (which was going to be really hard in his condition) or defend (he didn't have anymore energy to apply new armour, and the current one was yet to be destroyed), he would find himself being bit a total of 10 times, the locations being nice and spread out so as to paralyse him not only physically, but with pain as well. Each calf, each thigh, each arm, each hand and each shoulder would be dug into with massive teeth, bodies promptly wrapping around him en masse to constrict him as well.

"You kids just don't learn.."

The snakes would tug and throw him to the floor, pinning him down completely could he not figure out some sort of miracle escape, although each snake restraining themselves so he wouldn't die... yet.

Assuming all went as planned (which it should), Kain would approach the man slowly, anger ever apparent in his facial features and in his movements. He would walk right up to the boy, stare at him without mercy, then remove his large black boot from his right foot, and then beat the foreigner's head with it until all that was left was a puddle of brains and blood.

I hadn't seen my partner-in-crime in a few days, since our last encounter at the gates, matter of fact. It seemed like this village was a lot duller than I'd given it credit; talk about over estimatin' a place. There was never shit goin' on - I always had to go lookin' for someone, even if it was just a piece of ass. The women here weren't too beautiful, either; they did know how to work with what they had, though. So, how can I complain?

Anyways, I was just out takin' a stroll when I saw some figures off in the distance. Naturally, I could've kept walkin', but bein' that I was already bored half to death, I decided to take a closer look. You can imagine my surprise to see one dude smokin' like a chimney, the other bein' deep-throat by snakes, and the third to be none other than other half of the infamous Iwagakure duo I'd formed: Kain!

He looked pretty pissed, so he probably didn't even see me comin'. I simply appeared like usual, only several feet from Kain's left¹; I was crouched down low, a single hand restin' on the dirt for better balance.

Surveyin' the carnage, I couldn't help but laugh: "LOL!"

Violent thud after violent thud, the heel of the thick boot was repeatedly smashed into the man's head, and after a few minutes of dedicated swinging his skull was soon cracked open. Blood squirted, covering Kain's face and clothing in lines of red, but he wouldn't stop there, mindless smashing until his head was literally a pancake shaped piece of mush. Kain remained straight-faced, standing up and tucking hit foot back into his boot, the snakes quickly dispersing into plumes of smoke as the Kagehebi would begin to rummage through the corpse's pockets, taking all of his money, and all of the items he had on him, headband included. No sooner did he finish robbing the body did he notice the arrival of the swordsman from earlier, and it looked as if it was HIM that was late this time!

"He came back just like his buddy, go figure!"

Kain walked slowly passed his new friend (well, I guess they were sorta friends at this point) and walked towards the body of Gentle, charred from the heavy surge of electricity. As he did with the other body, he would search his pockets and take all money and belongings he could find, and when he was finished he would pick up the body and throw it over his shoulder, preparing to carry it out of here,

"Seemed this one was fast enough to get off an attack though..."

Kain was mad, but it wasn't as if he was crushed to have lost his friend, I mean, with Gentle it was almost expected to see him die in some ridiculous way.. getting blasted with lightning while spinning at somebody seemed right up his alley.

"Well, I have to go get rid of all this, funny seeing you again. I'm Kain, by the way."

With a wave of his hand the Kagehebi was off, he had to dispose of Gentle's body somewhere, he knew how upset he'd be if he had to rot next to these two chumps.
