Her walk was self important, each step sending a bounce through her breasts. She seemed cheerful, a smile upon her face, but what the world did not know was that Kaorin was angry. Very angry. There was an old man who had repeatedly resisted attempts to be removed from the porch of the Tsuchikage's Tower. This act was inexcusable, no matter how much of the drink that the man had consumed. Black leather boots crunched softly on the stone pavement as the girl made her way downtown through the brisk morning air.
Since she had lived in this town since she was a child, it should come as no surprise that Kaorin knew the streets and their winding, twisting ways like the back of her hand. She knew all the shortcuts -- when to jump onto a roof and cut across that way, or when to simply follow the road or take a bridge across a river. It was because of this knowledge that Kaorin would find herself arriving at the Tsuchikage Tower in a matter of minutes after leaving her home.
Her swift pace did little to lighten her mood, though. There was the perpetrator -- the old former shinobi Banryu. The man was ancient, a relic of former wars, and to ease the pain of those memories, the man had slipped himself off into the realm of blissful, alcohol-induced sleep. The only problem with this drunkenness was that, of course, when drunk, Banryu still acted and behaved as if he were in the war...
And as if he were on the other side of the conflict. Therefore, it came as no surprise that the Tsuchikage wanted the man removed as often as possible. It was very difficult for the woman to work whenever she was being constantly assaulted by old, former Shinobi who seek your life. It was especially hard to do that without injuring the man. No matter what, though, he always ended up passed out in the doorway of the Tsuchikage Tower.
Kaorin was coming to change that.
