Chuusijin no Jutsu (Stomping Monkey’s Quake Technique)
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary / Doton Ninjutsu
Range: See special!
Chakra: Low each turn.
Special: Range of earthquake depends on the user’s level of Earth Dominion. As long as anyone except the user is within range of the quake and standing atop the ground, they will automatically suffer serious balance and orientation disruption, resulting in speed loss - effects aren't auto however, and can be evaded with clever RP. Quake lasts the entire turn, and can be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: As its name implies, this basic yet efficient technique results in the wielder forming a few simple handseals and then stomping and pounding the ground wildly, their limbs coated in a special chakra. As they pound away, the earthquake consumes the area, disrupting balance and speed. Very good for when faced with waves of opponents, or for taking down weakened edifices.
Domain: Doton. Earth Dominion 'D'.

Kyo had finally made it into the village and was taken in but all of his surroundings. He had a mission that he was planning to accomplish, and for that he must be stronger. The way to be stronger was to train. So that is exactly what he was planning to do. Understanding that training under someone would, or even just with someone would make life easier he decided to start off on his own. As he saw it, if he could manage to get down some basics someone would be more willing to help him. Also he had already devoted himself to Kiri-sama , but he hadn’t been around right now.
Kyo found himself a old run down abandoned area of the village. It was a small area with only a few houses, and a bridge at the center of town. Under the bridge was a dried up river bed, which also was only about 8 feet deep, at most. He thought this was the ideal place to train for now. He would not be bothered by many people because the area was abandoned, and this way he would not have to leave the village to try and get back in without Kiri-sama.
So down into the river bed he went. He knew exactly what he wanted to do as well, and that was train into his doton abilities. He thought the best way to start was in practicing a simple ability of being able to move a rock with chakra. He had a pretty good range of control, jut he had no actual control to use it with. His jutsu so far had always been sloppy and unable to take any real shape. So he was going to change that. He started off by performing 3 handseals and gaining some chakra into his hands. His hands would be doing all the work for these jutsu, and he needed to use the earth, so right away he smashed his hand into the ground. And absolutely nothing magnificent happened, but he was able to make a part of a handprint into the ground. His eyes and mouth looked dumbfounded.
He tried again, this time just trying to lift the ground in front of him. After performing just a few handseals and smashing his hand to the ground, just a foot in front of him the ground began to lift. It was only a few centimeters but it was progress. He tried again this time he wanted something really big. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to build his concentration. He hit is hand into the ground, causing dust to rise. In his bent down position, a cylinder of rock rose behind him, striking him in the butt. This caused him to tumble forward completing a full two flips before landing on his butt. It seemed that ever step forward had two steps back. In his frustration he just began punching the ground.
Hit after hit he was getting angrier and angrier that nothing was happening. Soon he began to notice rocks were beginning to tremble; some even breaking off from the cliffs of the river bands falling in front of him. It soon seemed that a jutsu might be able to come from his anger. He was making even more progress than he had thought.
