The early morning sun streaked over the spring trails along Kaminari no Kuni. As the warmth of the sun heats the earth, glistening drops of dew slowly fading as the night is shaken off, you find yourself thinking back to the information you had been given. A people made of water, you had been told. How strange of a thought to hear that a being of that ability might exist. It almost sounded like something that was too fantastical to believe, but you listened regardless.[/b] He said. His gray hair and maniacal gaze had been somewhat off-putting. Most had believed him mad, but they didn't dare call him that to his face.
You have small thoughts towards the story you had been told, not so much towards the lore, but towards where the tale had led you to go. "You'd think a people like this would exist in some tropical setting, far from the eyes of curious people, but they could be everywhere. As a matter of fact, you can find one of these people even within Kaminari no Kuni."
"Go to the village of Ishoten. It's a small town within Kaminari no Kuni, locatable on any map. It has a friendly enough population, though they don't like me there. Superstitious lot don't trust me 'cause of my lazy eye and lack of a hand." Some had speculated that he had lost the hand in a fight with an animal over food, but others spouted tales of him removing it as he believed it would strangle him in his sleep. Even though his information could have EASILY been the work of a madman, here you find yourself walking along the landscape of Kaminari no Kuni in search of some fantastical humanoid-being.
As the terrain seems to come to life, the sunshine creeping behind the clouds and creating a picturesque scene for any to partake of. The trail leading to the village of Ishoten takes you down winding paths and hills. The closer and closer you get to civilization, the more signs of people can be found. Though minute, the differences can be seen by the naked eye from the various footprints along the dirt off of the path, as well as a slight hint of chatter along the wind. If this man is mad, he is either insane to the point of being correct, or he is just insane.
What can one truly expect from the ramblings of an old man in an alley?[/blockquote]
