It was a long ride; he honestly wasn't expecting himself to travel this far. Rather he wasn't expecting the trip to be this rough. Now it wasn't traveling the dunes of the desert that was rough. Oh no, he done that tons of times before, he was accustomed to its weather patters. It was crossing the borders to get to Lightning Country that was a bother.
The travel across the desert was simple. He walked, full body attire acquired for; scarf securely fastened around his face his eyes squinting every now and then. Whenever the wind blew against him, he'd simply shield his eyes to make sure no sand got into them. Nothing spectacular honestly. He had faced a sandstorm pass his way, thus forcing him to quickly find a cave to rest in until nightfall. During his short stay in the cave, he had to fend off against small snakes.
He never was one to take chances while in a storm and not safely within a secure location so anything that moved and he didn't approved of, its head was quickly severed. Pretty much a quiet trip. The trek continued and he was soon running out of water, making sure to eat sparsely. But that was when he left the mighty rages of sands. And thus his path led his feet to a more crunchy surface. It took him about four days in total to cover the desert, eating a mixture of his own bringings and whatever else was on the land.
Now the many rocks and cliffs were a challenge. He wasn't used to climbing many rocks and sharp cliffs, so he ended up cutting himself...a lot. Mostly on the hands, but once in a while he'd wind up cutting his face when he fell. His legs were not special and received the same treatment. He knew how to apply chakra to the feet, but that didn't stop him from being unused to the rocky terrain.
Yup, it was definitely a new experience for him.
