The female felt her eyes widen in fear as all of the guys came over to them with a rather scary look at his face. Suddenly, the male stepped in front of her before he hold out his hands like guns towards the trio.
"BANG BANG BANG!" shouted Atlas as he started to shoot small streaks of lightening at them. Yukiko's eyes were on the size of dinner plates...was this a raiton jutsu? She had never seen it before.

"Hit'em hard, sis!" said the male as he looked at her with a smile. "YOU BET! FREEZE GUYS!" yelled the girl as she launched almost seven ice cold birds on the trio with a huge grin on her face.
All of the guys ran for their lives - the duo they had encountered proved out to be tougher than what they looked like. "I think we have to go to the police station with this" said the Genin after the yakuza trio had probably reached the end of the street.

Luckily, she saw a sign that read 'Police station' at the corner of the street. The female followed the direction of the sign and saw a rather minimalistic-style building that had the words 'Police station' written on it.
Both of them went inside; there were a couple of people who were queueing up in front of a counter. "I think it's best that you do the talking" said the Genin as they got in the queue. Chances were bigger they would take him more seriously than her.

"Here's the camera if you need it" said the girl as she zipped up her backpacker and handed him her camera. The atmosphere was relatively calm, but there was no doubt that the people here knew what they were doing.
'I wonder if they keep the prisoners here. This house is kinda small' thought the brunette as she looked around. She had only been to the Kumogakure police station on a school trip; it was remarkably smaller than this one.

Swallows composed of pure ice formed in the chilled air, creations shaped by his younger sister to combat the three assailants. Their intimidating beaks and frozen talons managed to scare the punks off, forcing them to run off down the street with minor electricity injuries and seemingly angered ice swallows on their tail. The entire sight was humorous, and the Akegarasu couldn't help but laugh a little. It was funny what a few minor and non-lethal techniques could do to the bravado of a trio of scumbags. Hopefully that would intimidate them out of executing their planned out thievery, or attacking innocent civilians, for that matter.

When the Yukina mentioned reporting this incident to the police in this district, the half-masked male nodded in agreement. "Yeah, why not?" He smiled. "Better to inform them than have those good-for-nothing's we just saw commit some heinous crime sometime in the future." Rubbing the surface of both his hands, and massaging the tingling sensation he had on both, Atlas would pivot around and lead his younger sister out of the street and back on the main road. After having spotted a police department right on the corner, Yukiko walked into the police station with the Chuunin in tow. The air was cold inside, the decoration, as well.

The establishment itself was pretty small, constructed with old methods of housing and hosted by a few assistants at its front desk. Kaminari no Kuni officials walked in and out of the building, off to their own duties and tasks. Some sent him glares and suspicious looks, but the Chuunin paid no mind to it. They were probably locals, and took notice of stranger's they did not recognize. And, if the half-masked male remembered correctly, this town was known as a big pit stop for travelers and the like. Travelers that weren't always friendly or responsible. He figured the people in this district held some ill intent to that sort, bad memories revived in their wake.

After giving the green-eyed Akegarasu the camera that held the photo of the bandits they had just chased off, Atlas would approach one of the Kaminari no Kuni officials positioned near the front desk- determined to carry out the task given to him by his younger sister. He told them everything, allowed them to mark it in their records, permitted the copy of the photo Yukiko had taken, and let them know that he was a ninja of Kumogakure- along with the blue-eyed girl. They could be trusted- this was the sort of thing they dealt with on a nearly daily basis. When he was done being interviewed, Atlas walked over to Yukiko and smiled, escorting her out of the establishment. "Well, that went quicker than expected." He started. "Still want to patrol some more, kiddo?"

It seemed like they wanted to interview the male; maybe they wanted him to explain the attack or something similar. The female sat down and read a safety brochure on things you could do to prevent burglars from entering your home.
Many of these things were quite simple, which inspired Yukiko a little bit. She knew that her parents had things like alarms with loud sounds back home in Kumogakure.

A couple of steps brought her out of her thoughts. "Well, that went quicker than expected. Still want to patrol some more, kiddo?" asked Atlas as he approached her. "Yeah, but maybe we should move to another district just in case" replied the girl. The trio they had scared could have some friends for all she knew.

"Maybe we can sleep over at one of those popular ryokans* tonight...I doubt the thieves will break into a place with a lot of people" said the Genin. It was common knowledge for shinobis that it was easier to attack someone in a place with little people.
Not only because it got people's attention but also since there were more witnesses. In some cases, there could be security cameras involved in the situation as well. But it was only 4 PM; they still had four more hours to go until it was dark.

The duo had now reached a somewhat crowded street that contained a large supermarket plus a mall named 'Shirokumo'. "Nice name on the mall. I'm gonna take a photo of that" said the female before she removed the camera from her backpacker.
She zoomed in on the sign and took the photograph of the sign. The brunette would then follow her senpai as they patrolled the seemingly safe street.

'Hm...I have not heard of some of these shops, but they seem so large. Maybe I can buy a present for my family if we have enough time tomorrow' thought the girl as they passed a large clothing shop named 'I&N'.
"Do you see anything out of the ordinary senpai?" asked Yukiko as she looked up at him. She had not seen anything weird apart from that man-looking woman who had a paper taped to the back with the text 'I lost a bet'. But that was actually a bit on the funny side though.

Together, Atlas and his younger sister ventured off to another district in the neighborhood- half sight-seeing and half patrolling the environment as they kept a brisk pace and looked around. The community, despite the sad crooks they had just run into now, seemed like a quaint and peaceful place. In comparison to Kumogakure, time here went by very calmly and slow. People went to work, people went outside with friends and people went about their days as normally- but the atmosphere here, the ambiance in the air, set a certain mood. It was like villages of old, only updated slightly so to keep in the times with the current technology.

The Ryokans found in this area, for example, held a traditional sense of culture but were also visibly influenced by technology. Yukiko suggested they stay over at one of these inns as they walked past the myriad of one available. Apparently, she was a bit afraid the thieves would track them down and attack them in greater number. The Ryokan seemed like a safe place to be if such a situation occurred. Smiling Atlas would reply, "Sure, that sounds nice. But if those fools do come looking for us, you don't gotta worry... 'kay? I'll get'em again." With this fact hopefully understood, he would pat his little sister on the shoulder and continue to walk on, passing by the old-timey shops and inns.

As they ventured deeper into the residence, however, headed to fulfill their objective of entering another district, some big changes were made present in terms of the setting at hand. The houses and apartment complexes grew in size, the people on the street grew in number. Shops and places of business turned from old "ma & pa" stores to convenient stores and expensive gift shops. Before long, the two traveling Kumogakure ninja would find a huge shopping market. Taking out her camera once more, Yukiko would take a photo of this Shirokumo mall. He acknowledged the establishment with a smile, then continued on with his companion.

Before too long, the Yukina inquired after whether Atlas had seen anything out of the ordinary yet during their patrol. And besides the fact that there was a man dressed like a woman nearby- which, of course, made him chuckle- the Akegarasu had not spotted anything. Well, nothing he could see, at least. There was a strange feeling going about, like they were stepping into something they had no idea would ambush them soon enough. But he couldn't be sure. After all, the street they currently walked on was relatively crowded. "I've spotted nothing yet." He replied to Yukiko, gazing at the scenery about. "You think this place'll get a bit more active at night? I haven't been here in ages. "

((OOC: Nightmarket experience is based on a true story. And I learned about drugs when I was 10-11, so I assume that Yukiko knows some about them too. If this break with the PG-13 rule, I'll correct it and write that it was illegal imported ivory or something))

"I've spotted nothing yet. You think this place'll get a bit more active at night? I haven't been here in ages" said the male. "To be honest, I have never been in this part of the capital before. But the capital was a lot more lively at night; there were street performers and night markets" said the female with a small smile on her face.

"However...some of the people at the night market sold stuff that were kind of weird. Hi-kun found a nice wooden box with some funny leaves he wanted to buy, but mum told him to put it back. She said it was cannabis or something" said Yukiko with a chuckle.
The girl actually knew that cannabis was something that people took to get high. Her father had also told her that people could see weird things that were like genjutsus when they took it.

Apart from those things, it was pretty much all of what the Genin knew about illegal substances. Her eyes then spotted two monks that performed some really cool taijutsu moves. A small bowl laid under a sign that said: 'Please give us money so we can buy medication for our friend with pneumonia'.
She poked Atlas' arm before she nodded her head towards the duo who were now doing some sparring. "I think I can give them 10 ryo; Ko-kun had pneumonia for not a long time ago" muttered the female.

She put the backpacker on the ground before she found her camera plus some change. It was not everyday you saw monks like these, but her parents had told her to ask monks or similar people for permission first.
The brunette laid 10 ryo in the bowl and both of the monks did something that surprised her. They gave her a polite bow with a smile on their faces. "Uhm...can I take a photo of you?" asked the girl as she pointed at her camera.

Both of them nodded and Yukiko took a photo of the duo. "Thank you!" said the female before she walked back to the young man that travelled with her. "Where do you want to go next? I just want to get in bed before 9 PM since we have to go home tomorrow" said the Genin.
He was the leader of this mission after all, so maybe he had a better idea of where they should go next on their trip through the town.

"I thought so."

Atlas smiled after Yukiko had answered his recent question. Of course a bustling capital like this would get a bit more activity during the nighttime. Question was- would it be safely monitored or go out of control with criminal deviancy? That's what they were there for, he reasoned. To help ensure the safety of the civilians here, and that any crimes committed didn't go unpunished or overlooked. It was their duty as ninja of Kumogakure, and inhabitants of the Thunder country overall. Patrolling this neighborhood, however, didn't seem like a drag to the Akegarasu. It felt much more like a pleasant stroll, with the problems far and in between. And he couldn't complain with the company of his younger sister. It seemed like they had trained for ages, and this trip was a nice change of pace.

"Cannibis?" Atlas repeated, a humorous smile forming on his face as they walked. "I can only imagine the look on your mother's face." He continued with a mere chuckle. Wondering how much Yukiko actually knew about the herb, or what experiences she had because of it, Atlas pondered the overall status of hallucinatory drugs in this country. From what he had seen during his years as a ninja, the law was pretty lenient on it outside of Kumogakure. But in the village hidden in the clouds, that was a whole 'nuther story. Nonetheless, despite any opinions others might have had, the half-masked male saw the uses for the hallucinogen in question. It had potential in many things, if used correctly. Abusing it, however, came with its own consequences- and he would not tolerate it.

Their stroll took them past two monks, owners of a bowl that requested generous donations in the cause of curing one of their owns pneumonia. They were performers, acting out a few impressive taijutsu techniques in order to garner some change. Yukiko brought them to the half-masked male's attention, and afterwards donated ten ryo. With the objective of not appearing like a cheapskate of sorts, Atlas immediately followed suit with his own ten ryo, dropping it in the bowl and giving the monks a courteous smile when they bowed to him and his younger sister. She requested a photograph, to which they complied graciously. After that, she thanked them, and the two Kumogakuran's continued on with their pleasant stroll.

After asking where he wanted to go next, Atlas pondered for a moment. They would definitely have to seek some shelter before nine'o clock, and would almost certainly return to the ryokans they had passed just earlier. When he spotted a thriving marketplace down the street, his idea came to mind. "Why not there?" He suggested, tossing his head in that direction. "It's close enough to patrol and explore, so we can rent a room later and knock out for the night." Turning down to his younger companion with a smile, he waited for her answer. Then, when all was said and done, the two would enter the marketplace and stride past the various stands that sold fruit, vegetables, ornamental wooden sculptures and other such trinkets.

"Why not there? It's close enough to patrol and explore, so we can rent a room later and knock out for the night." said the male as he nodded his head towards a ryokan. The ryokan was close to a market that sold everything from candy to towels.
"Sure! I think we should explore the market first if you're fine with that" said the female with a big smile on her face.

Both of them now entered the market; there were quite a lot of people there. Yukiko made sure she stayed within Atlas' reach since this place was rather packed. Fortunately, his long red her as well as his height made him a bit easier to spot.
Her eyes looked around to see if there were anything here that seemed to be illegal. They had to be a bit careful since some of the people who operated the stalls were a bit on the aggressive side.

"Come here and buy fresh strawberries! Only 20 ryo per box!" yelled a golden-haired female, who appeared to be a teenager. The blonde had without knowing it almost yelled straight into the small girl's ears.
"YIKES!" said the Genin and almost jumped a foot into the air by the surprise. The shinobi duo continued on their trip until they reached a stall that was operated by a couple of young women.

It seemed to be a stall that concentrated on Asian as well as Western astrology. "Hello there! Do you see anything you like?" inquired a woman in her early 20's with amethyst purple hair that reached her collar bone.
"Uhm...I'm trying to find out what Western zodiac sign I have, but it's a little confusing" replied the female. "Don't worry; I can find it out if you tell me your birthday" said the amethyst-haired female.

"My birthday is 13th December" told the brunette. "Right...that means that you're a Sagitarrius. There is a small photo of the zodiac sign over there" said the woman as she pointed on a poster with photos of all the zodiac signs.
The Sagitarrius turned out to be a half-horse, half-human animal that was armed with a bow and arrow. "My zodiac sign is a centaur!?" exclaimed the girl in slight disbelief.

They entered the throng of the marketplace together, a bustling place of commerce and potentially big deals. Voices came from every direction, selling, buying, bargaining, beckoning, and denying. The fragrance of fresh fruit and raw meat hung in the air. As they strode through the environment, however- weaving through the crowd of incoming patrons and sticking close to one another- the smells changed and varied. The shriek of a young saleswoman surprised his younger sister, as she had jumped up a few inches in height when the yell had made itself present. He suppressed a laugh, kept it down to a mere chuckle. Patting Yukiko on the shoulder, he bid her to continue following. They would reach something interesting soon- for sure.

He stopped when the Yukina investigated the contents of an Astrological stall, one run by a few pretty but extravagant looking women. Being the superstitious type, Atlas leaned forward with an interested gleam in his eye, standing beside Yukiko as he looked at the pretty decorations, pictures and trinkets on the stall. Zodiacs, huh? He had never really read up on it very well, except for the sheets of zodiac charts they laid out in Chinese restaurants whenever one visited. He knew who he pertained to, but exactly what the zodiac meant, how it worked, and where it had come from- Atlas was still a little unsure about. An absorbed ooo soothingly escaped his lips.

His interested doubled when his younger sister inquired after the zodiac sign that pertained to her birthday- the thirteenth of December. Of course he'd remember that! One of the women attending the stand- a female with deep purple hair- answered her question, even bringing up a poster with the picture and description that pertained to Yukiko's western zodiac sign. Her initial astonishment made Atlas huff out a laugh. "Hey, I think centaur's are pretty cool!" He commented. "Maybe you're bound to be an archer someday, huh?" His smile reinforced the carefree comment.

When the woman attending them asked Atlas after his birthday, the Akegarasu happily replied. "The twentieth of May. I'm caught between being a Gemini and Taurus, some say, but I consider myself more of a Taurus than anything." He gauged the inquisitive expression on the purple-haired woman's face, continued on with eyeing her stand and admiring the artwork it displayed. The poster, the one she had directed his younger sister towards, showed his zodiac symbol- a horned bull, with large muscles. The embodiment of earth, the embodiment of power.

"Hey, I think centaur's are pretty cool! Maybe you're bound to be an archer someday, huh?" commented the male with his usual smile. "Nah...I kind of want to train karate or something similar to that" replied the female while she looked at the centaur.
"The twentieth of May. I'm caught between being a Gemini and Taurus, some say, but I consider myself more of a Taurus than anything." informed Atlas.

Yukiko then looked at the sign for Taurus; it was a large bull with somewhat dangerous-looking horns on its head. The animal looked quite strong physically as well, but it was something with the animals eyes that made her a little less scared.
She then noticed that there were dates written under each sign. 'I wonder what Hi-kun and Ko-kun's zodiac sign is' thought the girl as she looked for the sign that covered their birthdate. A small snort of laughter escaped the Genin's mouth when she found their sign.

It turned out to be Gemini; it was portrayed by two identical young men who stood side by side. "Sorry. I just noticed that my twin brothers zodiac sign is Gemini...kinda funny when you look at the picture" said the girl as she looked up at the young man.
"I think we gotta go now senpai" stated the brunette when she noticed that they still had a somewhat large area of the market to cover. They continued on their walk through the crowds, which had now increased a little in size.

'Maybe it's more people since they have gotten home from work and are now here to buy things they need for the dinner. There are lots of stalls here that sells fresh fruit as well as meat' thought the female as she saw a lot of people queue up near a stand that had a sign that read 'Delicious peaches: 10 ryo for 3'.
Her taupe eyebrows raised a little in surprise when she saw a stall that sold all sorts of nuts. Yukiko recognized some of the types, but some of them were unfamiliar with her.

"Come here for the best apples in Kaminari no Kuni! Only 25 ryo per kilogram!" yelled a man with steel-blue hair that stood next to a stall that had a lot of people. "There's a lot of competition here" noted the female as she looked at the Chuunin.
Many of these people sold similar things, so they probably had to do their best to attract customers. And one of these things were to scream as loud as they could so people could hear what they had to offer.

Their stroll through the marketplace continued, and they pleasantly gazed about at all the delicacies being sold there. Fruits that included strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, oranges, apples, plums, pineapples, peaches, bananas, mangoes- the list went on and on. Then there were the wider variety of meats being sold as well, as all of it fresh, of course, The sight of the raw and bloody sustenance hanging from their stalls was a little bit grotesque for the half-masked male to see, as he hadn't seen a marketplace like this since he'd been a child. But after a while, he got used to the stench of raw meat, and the buzzing flies above.

He stayed behind his younger sister as they stopped at a stall that seemed to have a specialty on peaches. Besides this and other various fruits, however, they also sold a vast array of nuts- neatly tied bags that were sold by the kilogram. He watched with intrigue as the vendor there tried to sell some apples to his companion, and smiled as he gauged the expression on the Yukina's face when she acknowledged the intense competition that occurred in this district every time the marketplace opened up. "Yeeah. I heard it gets pretty heated here sometimes." He answered over the roar of a hundred conversations and up-sells occurring around them.

The stall they were currently facing was indeed crowded, and the Akegarasu had seen everything he had to see with this particular vendor. Gazing about, past the crowds and past the workers, he spotted another stall not too far away. And what it sold brought a hungry gleam to his eye. All he needed to do was cross through a busy wave of pedestrians to get to it. "OH YEAH." He grinned, almost barking out a laugh. "C'mon-- I just spotted something that's going to make my day~" Gently grasping his younger sister's hand- to ensure she didn't get lost in this frantic river of people and potential criminals- Atlas led her through and to the stall he had keenly discovered. His favorite fruit brought a slight drool to the edge of his mouth, the price overwhelmingly awesome and affordable.

"GUAVA FRUIT~" He cooed, his eyes sparkling with delight as he reached his hand forward to grasp the yellow delicacy. When it came to guava, Atlas was simply frugivorous. And yes, that was a word! His endearment for the fruit was obvious, his craving even more so. A sign at the stall read a kilo for only six ryo, and when the vendor noticed that hungry look in Atlas' eye, she handed him a plastic bag. "Thanks~!" He replied, taking the bag and filling it up immediately. Stopping for a moment, he scanned the other fruit and food items at this stall. Generally the same as the last one, only the apples were a bit more expensive, and they were missing oranges. Turning to little sister, he flashed a smile before continuing to fill up his bag of guavas. "Pick anything you'd like, sis. We can stop by the waterfall nearby next morning and snack on some fruit or something. Sound good?" When she replied, he'd return to his hoarding of the yellow fruit- swiftly and with a reckless charm! There weren't many places that sold this treat, after all!

"Yeeah. I heard it gets pretty heated here sometimes." said the male as they continued the walk through the market. The female made sure that they did not stay in a crowded area too long. She did after all had all of her money plus the camera in the backpacker.
"OH YEAH. C'mon-- I just spotted something that's going to make my day" said Atlas as he went towards a stall that sold some yellow fruit.

"GUAVA FRUIT" cooed the young man as he looked at the fruit with sparkly eyes. 'Kinda reminds me of mom when she sees a really nice cup of coffee' thought Yukiko as he started to put some fruits in a plastic bag.
"Pick anything you'd like, sis. We can stop by the waterfall nearby next morning and snack on some fruit or something. Sound good?" said the Chuunin.

"Sounds great to me! I love fruit!" exclaimed the girl with a large smile on her face. Unlike many other children, she liked most fruits as well as vegetables that were put on her plate.
The only exceptions were things like cabbage or grape fruit. "Can we stop here please?" asked the Genin as they reached a fruit stall.

A young man with ginger hair as well as blue eyes operated the stall; it had loads of fresh fruit. Some of them were plums, peaches, mandarines, grapes, cherries, apples and pears. "Could I please have two peaches, a mandarine and one small cluster with grapes?" inquired the female. "Sure thing! Just give me a second" said the orange-head before he started to mix everything.

His hands took the fruits she had ordered within a couple of seconds. "Here you go. That will be...22 ryo please" said the young man after he checked the price list.
"Here, thank you for the fruit" said the brunette before she handed him the money. They were reaching the end of the market soon; maybe they should check the neighborhood?

Stuffing away his precious golden fruit and tying the large bag swiftly, he would submit his order for pricing. It weighed in as an impressive three kilos- eighteen ryo in total! But he didn't mind- in fact, he was quite frankly astonished by the price for this somewhat rare and precious delicacy. He would have gone as far as paying one hundred ryo for three kilograms alone! He paid the vendor there for the fruit he was buying, then promptly snatched a guava from the stock at bit into it, savoring its unique but flavorful taste with a dreamy-eyed look on his face and a fat smile. To think, he was about to travel all the way back to Tetsu no Kuni just for a taste of his favorite fruit- when it was so close-by here and inexpensive!

Seeing as his younger sister wanted to buy fruit from a different stall, he followed her promptly to one across from them- the bag of guava fruit tied firmly and held in one hand. Her enthusiasm for fruit was enlightening, a marvelous thing to see on a child's face. When she reached the stall, she eyed the delicacies she planned on buying and worked out a price with the vendor. When she was done, she paid the price and took her gathered fruit- a wondrous display of color and flavor, quite the interesting combination. Drawing a guava from his bag before continuing on, Atlas would lead Yukiko through the crowd once more and towards the end of the marketplace. It being such a commercial and busy place, he was surprised to realize that he had not spotted one pickpocket or thief at all. Perhaps this was the peace and tranquility Kaminari no Kuni really had to offer?

He bit into the mustard yellow fruit he most admired, rolled the seeds around in his mouth while he probed and savored the flavor. Then finally, after mashing the delicious treat with his teeth, swallowed down the guava as a satisfied mmm hummed from his mouth. Throughout this ecstasy that was occurring in his mouth, he and Yukiko walked out of the bustling place of commerce. Their stride took them into a different part of the district, a neighborhood made up of old peasant houses and dirt-trodden roads. It was early evening now, the night would come in only a few hours. Lining the streets of this quaint and quiet place- where the crickets chirped early to fill in the void of silence here- were extravagant oak trees and flower bushes. As they walked on, Atlas snacking on his guava fruit in advanced while Yukiko followed, a sudden sound reached their ears.

The incessant cry of a cat, somewhere in the neighborhood. It sounded in distress, as if it were truly worried and weeping. "You hear that, kiddo?" He mumbled, still feasting on his fruit- a piece of its fleshy skin on the edge of his mouth. "Sounds like a cat." He stopped in his tracks, took a gander around. When he couldn't see it anywhere, he focused on pinpointing the origin of its cry. Focusing his ears, he attempted to discern where it was coming from. Then, it came to him- where it was hidden. He looked upward, from the little village sidewalk they had been walking on, and into the depths of the leafy oak tree above them. The cat was on a branch, high up in the tree, and it couldn't get down. "Oh, dear. Same old shtick, huh? Cats always getting stuck up in trees." He shook his head with a smile, set his bag of guava fruit safely down on the ground. Cracking his knuckles, as he tried to think up of a safe way of going about this, he looked down at his companion. "Got any ideas, sis?"

They now left the market before they continued their investigation to a rather quiet street nearby. It was decorated with some elegant flower bushes as well as large oak tree. A cat's cry then reached the female's ears; she looked around to check where it came from.
"You hear that, kiddo? Sounds like a cat." said the male while he chewed on one of the guava fruits he had just purchased.

Atlas looked up. So did Yukiko and saw a small cat on a branch quite far up in the tree. "Oh, dear. Same old shtick, huh? Cats always getting stuck up in trees." muttered the young man with a somewhat bored voice as he put the bag with fruit down on the ground.

"Got any ideas, sis?" asked the Chuunin as he cracked the knuckles on his hands. Ice blue eyes looked at the area around the tree to see if there was a safe way they could get up in the tree without getting anything broken.
The girl raised her eyebrows as she saw that one of the branches near the cat was almost right next to a roof on a nearby house. The Genin looked around the house, but she did not see anything they could use to get up to the floor. "I think I have a small idea" replied the female as she looked up at the male.

"Do you see that branch? It is quite close to that roof over there, but I have no idea on how we can get up there. The branch is kinda thick; I think it can hold you if you channel chakra to your feet" suggested the brunette as she pointed at the branch.
She felt a little sorry for the cat since it looked quite scared. But it was a high chance that it belonged to someone who wanted to have their cat back.

Suddenly, the girl noticed that the pet had something that shined around its neck. She narrowed her eyes; it turned out to be a collar of some sort. "Take a look at the cat senpai. It has a collar around its neck" said Yukiko as she pointed at the cat.
The cat definitely had to belong to someone if it had a collar with a nametag on its neck. Or perhaps it was a small bell?

She pointed to a branch up high, parallel to the rooftop of the nearby house. "Yeah, good ideaaa." Atlas replied in a low hum, analyzing the width of the branch. "I don't think I could run up this tree... the bark looks too unstable, and it'll most likely frighten the poor thing." By poor thing, of course, he meant the shivering black cat above. "I guess I'd better make my way up the house roof and go on from there, hm?" Just as he decision was made, his younger sister pointed out the small bell hanging off the feline's neck from a small red collar. Yup, looked like it belonged to somebody alright. And hopefully the collar would have some directions scrawled upon it to the cat owner's house.

"Our little rescuee has a collar, huh? We're gonna have to return it once we get it down, then." Patting Yukiko on the shoulder, he'd then promptly pivot towards the house and approach it in long strides. When he reached a part of the wall that wasn't covered with a window or door, he ran up its side and landed on its roof with a dull thud. The rooftop was littered with dead leaves and old frisbees, every step he took towards the branch nearby caused a sickening crunch to resonate from the soles of his feet. Slowly, he advanced until he faced the protruding branch that stuck out from the tree, gauging the width of it at a closer distance this time and carefully moving forward. This required sufficient caution.

He definitely did not want to make a loud sound this close, or rush his effort. He didn't want to provoke or frighten the feline on the other side of the tree, after all. And as he took his first step onto the branch parallel to the rooftop, he silently gathered some chakra onto the soles of his feet. This chakra he would use to balance himself and assure he did not fall only to hit the ground. When he balanced the chakra on both feet, he took his next step- the branch creaking under the pressure of his weight. A little bit of anxiety pierced his being. Could it really handle him as he advanced?

Another step, another creak. The cat cried, abruptly stopped, then gave a curious, "Meow?" Atlas flinched, it had heard him. But was it one of those cats that ran at the presence of any sound or stranger? He had yet to find out. After a few tense moments, he took another step, then moved around the tree onto the branch parallel to the one the cat was on. His shoulders and head brushed against the leaves of the oak tree- a clear rustle, one that alerted the black feline. Immediately, it began to cry out in fright, jumping a few inches when it turned and saw the brunette giant. "Woah, calm down~" The Chuunin soothingly said, holding his hand out. The cat, however, had other plans. It retreated, and fell off the branch! Could it land on all fours safely, or would Yukiko have to intervene?

Yukiko watched him as he walked onto the branch; it let out a loud creaking sound as he walked further onto it. 'Maybe I should have gone up there instead' thought the girl as she saw him come closer to the poor animal.
The black cat let out a frightened cry before it jumped backwards. It made the small Genin pay more attention since the pet now could fall down from the tree. "Whoa, calm down" said the Chuunin as he held his hand out.

Suddenly, the cat jumped down from the branch. "I got it!" yelled the female as she ran towards the cat who was now falling down from the tall tree. She dived forwards and caught the animal with her small hands. Both of them landed on the ground near one of the flower bushes.
"Meow?" said the black feline as it looked at the brunette with wonder in its eyes. "You're safe now" said the girl with a smile on her face.

"Let's see where you live little kitty" said Yukiko as she looked at the collar. It turned out to be a sort of capsule that had a paper note inside it, so the female unscrewed the capsule with her small fingers. "The cat's name is Shoko and she lives at Kamirai Avenue 17" said the Genin as she read the information on the paper.
She laid the paper back in the capsule while she petted the cat to calm it down. This cat was used to humans though since it did not freak out when it was around the shinobi duo.

"I think we should looks around for a little first. If we don't find the house, we can hand in the cat to the police or something" suggested the girl as she looked up at the male. They had to deliver the animal back to its owners despite that the brunette wanted to keep it.
'But I bet someone are quite worried right now. At least I would if it was my cat' thought the brunette as she looked down at Shoko.
