description; Bar brawls are quite possibly the toughest brawls to break up. Everything is so chaotic and one must watch everywhere. The guy behind you could at any second throw you a strong right while the guy in front throws a strong left. People going all out with beer bottles and chairs. Well, usually bars are quite peaceful and mature but one bar in particular has fights every single day. The owner is getting sick of breaking them up and complains that it’s bad for business so he’s asking us to monitor the area and make sure fights don’t break out. Sadly, I doubt it’ll work but still, try your best to keep things civil.

So here I stood in all my splendor, my location no longer nestled in front of the mission tower. Behind me the words "Franks Lightning Ale" stood out as my eyes watched patrons enter the bar. They moved swiftly and always took notice of me in my attire. It was good too. Because I didn't want any fucking trouble today or else I would be breaking some heads. Delightfully I stood there, a bit more eager to see Hayline than to watch these thugs enter. They were nobodies to me and they were just asking to be harmed. "Geeze. You're always so late." I muttered about the genin, wondering what sort of grand entrance she would make this time. I couldn't help but notice I was growing attached to her as she accompanied me along these various missions. She had some very likeable traits about her that I was slowly beginning to recognize.

"This is going to be a long fuckin' day."

Hrm, I think he mentioned something about going to Franks? I scratched my head as I was trying to remember which bar Kaeor and I were supposed to go to. I guess I was going to be a bit late arriving to the proper location, but this gave me a chance to just clear my head and get ready for a potential fight again. I did not want to fight the same way like last time, so this time I brought my rapier with him and decided to keep it concealed on me. I have not gotten the chance to really use it before, so this would be fun if the opportunity presents itself at this bar. Frantically looking left and right, I would scan all of the civilians walking by and enjoying the night life of the city. I would continue to search the streets until I saw the familiar frame of my partner, Kaeor. Wow, he got here so fast!

Running up to Kaeor, I would wave my hand and begin to speak to him from a distance, "Hey! You got here so fast, what's the rush?" I began to laugh because before, Kaeor wasn't too pleased with me going ahead on the last mission, and here he was ready to go. I stopped about three meters in front of him, wondering what his intentions were going to be to deal with this particular mission. I believe the mission was about us protecting the bar from having too many outbreaks of a fight, and this prematurely causing the owner to close the bar down early each night. That can be really bad for business, and we were here to put an end to that. Titling my head a bit to the left, I would then proceed to ask him a question,

"So, what do you think we should do for this mission? I was thinking that we go undercover, have a good time and just enjoy ourselves. The moment that a fight is about to break out, we jump into action and try to stop them and give everyone a warning." It was blatantly obvious that I just wanted to get a few drinks and socialize with the civilians, but then I began to recall that he was a Chuunin and he took his title quite seriously. Sighing a bit, and then speaking again, I would retract my previous idea, "--but that might cause an even bigger scene..I'm not too sure actually." I would allow for him to make the judgment and just go with whatever he says.

It didn't take long before my little genin found me, her blonde hair dancing with every step she took in succession. I was sure she would have something to say to me, because she honestly never really closed her mouth unless I kept her fascinated with a mission. There was nothing wrong with it but sometimes a guy liked to be sweetened up with a little conversation, ya'know? So the first thing she did was ask me a question after the long day we had yesterday. I'd look at her quite blankly, wondering if she remembered what I had placed an emphasis on yesterday. "Oh yes I slept quite well. My morning is great and I ate all my wheaties. How was your morning?" I said obviously toying with her. Manners weren't something to take lightly and I could only guess she didn't have a proper family at home to instill these values in her. Either that or she just didn't give a fuck.

"Because this is where we're supposed to be. I figured that you'd come here on your own eventually. You're a bright kid. You'd get the memo." I answered. Then per usual, she wanted some sort of briefing beyond what we were given. What was I? The strategist of Kumogakure? "Our job is simple this time. If a fight starts we go in and stop it. This isn't the ghetto so no killing Hayline." I'd command with the memory of her crazed slaughter of those other ruffians in my head. "And you're not even twenty one. How would you even get in?" I asked, though I wasn't twenty one myself. Yet I surely still could play the part, could I not?

Strange, it seemed as though the Chuunin wanted to make the mission into something more personal between us two and for reasons that I could not quite understanding just yet. He began to tell me about his morning and his feelings, and then asked me how was my morning in a pretty condescending manner. I blankly stared at him, not sure how to exactly deal with this slight confrontation. I was not really interested in how his morning was, or how he was feeling. I came to do a mission and that was all I really wanted to do at this point. Maybe if we were on a date, I would be more interested in him but now was not the time. I never really thought of him anymore than just a leader on a mission and us doing missions. I mean, that was the point of all of this, right?

Since we were going to be completing a spree of missions, I suppose I could humor him back to lighten up the mood? Though, I was already trying to be as carefree as my personality was already--and I do not think he really enjoys it that much. Oh well. Kaeor then responded to my question by informing me that I am not allowed to kill anyone in the bar, wow! It seems like I turned out to be the big bad villain that I always wanted to be. It made me smile when he brought up my lethal actions yesterday, but I had already intended on taking it easy on this mission. It was a bar, and those are my favorite places to go to. Luckily for me, I had connections in almost every bar in Kumogakure, seeing as I work at one of the biggest clubs in the city. Getting inside would be no problem for me.

The Chuunin then asked how did I intend on getting into the bar, and I could not but giggle at his question. I would respond to him in a rather savvy tone, "Oh Kaeor, you leave that to me." I winked to him and then turned my head towards the entrance of the bar. It was beginning to get more crowded as the time dug deeper into the night. There was without a doubt going to be a fight with a large amount of people, but they would somehow have to be able to stop it from causing a disruption for all of the other customers. I would then idly wait for him to take the lead, unless of course he would allow for me to do the honors. He seemed to get bothered easily, and that was something I was not used to dealing with. I never take missions personally, ever. It just was not my style, I just did not have the attention span for those sort of things. I wondered if I would even have to use my choice of weapon tonight, but we'll see I suppose.

There was obviously more to this little kunoichi than meets the eye. Connections at a bar? She was certainly the type that wasn't to be toyed with or at least had some sort of reputation in this world. Nonetheless, once she told me that she could get inside I merely extended my palm in the direction she wanted to go. "Well what are we waiting for?" I retorted. And once inside I would simply just follow her. This was her domain. Why not let her run the show?

Surprisingly, he did not have much to say to me this time. It seemed like I was allowed to take the lead for this particular mission, at least, he was allowing for me to get us into the bar. Funny enough, I was actually helping out the owner last week on the weekend during it's peak hours so, I knew him quite well. "Very well." I spoke softly to the Chuunin as I went into the line to get inside the bar. The line was not very long but, the bouncers had to check for ID of course. It was a tedious five minutes waiting, but once it was our turn in line, I would speak to the very large man in a suit blocking our entrance, "Tonnnyy! It's nice to see you again, how is it going?" My charm instantly appeared as I was speaking to one of my buddies at this bar.

He would smile at the sight of me and respond back, "Hayline, whattaya doing back here? Are you going to help for the night again?" I began to laugh and then strike a casual conversation with him, "Oh nonoo. I'm here to just relax for once! Did you know that Christine quit her job?! I am thinking about leaving too..it's just not the same anymore." Tony, heartbroken then exclaimed why and of course I would have to explain the story to him. "Well, it's a long story, but things just was not working out for her. She said she wanted to get out of that place and explore the world, I do not blame her." I shrugged my shoulders, Christine was the one that got me a job at the Cloudsea club, but life happens.

Tony then asked me who as the guy behind me, and of course absentmindedly I forgot I was on a mission. I did not want to reveal our true purpose just yet, in case we needed to keep our disguise for when something bad occurs at this bar, so instead I would just make something up on the spot. "Oh. This is my friend, Kaeor! Sorry for not introducing you sooner. We're just going out for tonight here." I smiled, looking towards Kaeor so Tony could get a good look at his face. I had hoped Kaeor was smiling too, otherwise I was going to elbow him to try and lighten up a bit. Tony then told us to hurry inside because we accidentally caused a line by having a conversation. He did not even ask us to check IDs, since I was obviously a previous worker there. Once inside, the alcoholic smells consumed my nostrils as I turned my head slightly to talk to Kaeor whom should be just behind me. "Wanna grab a seat with me?"

[Kaeor]

She was quite popular in Kumogakure's night life. That was the only thing that was certain as I entered the line directly behind her. I hoped she knew what she was doing because I didn't feel the need to explain our mission to any others. So you wouldn't be surprised that once I saw that huge bouncer standing there I immediately thought to myself - Fite time. Bouncers usually made up for their lack of brain with their brawn and this guy was quite intimidating really if we were going to just go by size. But naturally I remained quiet and followed her lead, not even paying attention really. It was then that I felt her nudge me that made me get tossed back into reality and with a cheerful smile I'd reach out towards her desire once more. "Wassup?" I'd simply say towards the bouncer before he let us in due to the length of the line.

It was everything that it was last week and the week before at every club. Drunks and alcohol were the only things promised here, though with a genuine lack of retardation. Hayline then turned to me and spoke to which I could only shrug. A drink or the two while seated on the job couldn't hurt. "Sure. But don't be trying to slip no pills into my drink." I then proceeded to give her a light hearted azn smile. My eyes were all closed and squinty and my row of whites were visible. Oh how I loved toying with this little girl.

It was as if I was back home again, my true calling had came to my rescue. There was something about being surrounded by a but of drunks and goofy people that just made me feel at ease. It was probably because I was naturally silly myself, I seemed to fit in quite well with them without even having a single drink. I decided that since we were on a mission afterall, it would be best if we had a view of the entire bar from wherever we chose to station ourselves. "Hm, we will sit over there, closer to the wall." There were booths by the wall, closer to the entrance of the bar where we had just entered. Just in case anyone tried to escape, I was being sure that they would not get very far.

This bar was unlike most, it was actually pretty up-scale to be honest. I walked over to the bartender and spoke to him, "Hey Mike! Long time no drink." I plopped right on a stool and eyed at Kaeor to join me, it was only appropriate since we were both together this night. I placed my elbows on the counter of the bar and rested my chin on my palms as I just sat there fascinated by seeing my long-time friend. He laughed at my joke and asked me if he could get us anything. "Yes, can you get us a double shot of tequila with a water back pleaseeee?" I bit my lip in anticipation of getting some liquor, it was about time. And it was the first time I was going to see a Chuunin drink as well.

Mike immediately began to take out two larger shot glasses and pour our drink in them. Then he gave us both a glass of water. "Cheers! Kaeor." I looked at him, before picking up my shot glass and attempting to clink it with his. I would down the beverage quickly, and then simultaneously pick up the glass of water and down that too. My body cringed at the intake of alcohol, and I shivered a bit in my seat. My stomach began to settle at the feeling and I released a deep sigh, why was I here again? Oh! The mission, right. I once again forgot what I was supposed to be doing but then I remembered. "It was nice seeing you again, Mike! We'll be back in a bit." I went to go grab Kaeor's hand and have him come with me to the booth that I saw near the front of the bar. It was time for us to keep an eye on the rowdy drunks.

So she fancied a seat near the wall? I couldn't have agreed with her more since I liked booths over the more unstable table settings. So understandably I sat with Hayline as she spoke to the bartender. Somehow she knew a number of associates at this place and I didn't think much of it to really ask how though. But I only remained her guest through everything that was occuring, choosing not to interfere or become a problem. I was just a listener in Hayline's world. And my was it quite extraordinary. I didn't really say much but I learned a lot from Hayline and the way she interacted. She was blissfully cheerful and carefree. Something totally hard for me to really understand.

But soon before I knew what was going on, she grabbed my hand and we were off to the races!

While sitting at our station casually conversing with Kaeor, or at least trying to, I notice a rather large man, about 6'5" and weighed over 300 pounds easily began to push a smaller gentleman in comparison. They were arguing over a game of pool, but so far it seemed like it wasn't going to get physical for now at least. I would urge Kaeor to look in the direction of the pool table and see what his reaction would be. They were yelling at each other and it was getting pretty rowdy but, there was no violence yet. I didn't know if Kaeor wanted to stop them from even possibly fighting or wait and watch to see how this turns out. The smaller man kept making fun of the larger man, calling him a "fat low-life" and laughed with his pals behind it.

Bad move.

The larger man was becoming more angry with each passing second, and the laughter grew louder as well. The larger man also had a pool stick in his hand, and I did not like the way that things were about to turn into. I looked to Kae and began to ask him, "I think we should move over there, even just a bit." I began to get up and move a bit closer to the action scene, sitting back at the bar. I would keep an eye on the two men arguing and keep waiting for the climax to build even more. I was scared that the large man was could to whack the smaller guy into oblivion, but so far nothing happened so far.

So as we moved I couldn't help but notice virtually the same thing as Hayline. The pool table area looked almost as if it could get a bit rowdy. An obese man and a skinny man were sitting at a bar ... and no this wasn't a joke no matter how corny it sounded. "I don't know. Something tells me that skinny guy is going to have it coming". I answered obviously disregarded the mission for a moment. He was actually being quite rude and a part of me didn't really care much if he got his head smashed it. Maybe it would teach him to mind his manners more.

"What do you think Hayline?" I'd ask her. I didn't want to sound like I was being unsure. I just wanted to see if Hayline thought we should seize the moment or linger on. "I'm right behind you no matter what you decide."

If I were the owner, I would have been very upset if another fight broke out, especially after I hired undercover shinobi to help protect his building. I did not really feel like being the peace-mediator with a bunch of intoxicated men, but it looks like I had no choice. "Let's go." I would stand up and begin walking towards the pool table. Even though Kaeor told me not to slay anyone, I was not afraid to use force if they had the audacity to attempt to strike me down. Smiling as I approached both of the men, I walked in front of the skinny lad and started to laugh along with him. Speaking loudly so everyone in the area heard, I would begin to speak.

"Now that was a good one! But hey, instead of making fun of the guy that could literally smash you into nothing but broken bones, guts, and blood, how about your go sit your ass down over there before I have you escorted out of here?" My tone was rough towards the end, and I was being serious. Kaeor should have followed behind and he would be my back-up in this situation. This guy was obviously drunk but, it would be better if we handled him than to let that bigger guy take care of him by using his own force. I didn't want there to be an even bigger scene but, a girl telling a guy to do was not exactly the best thing to do in a bar, but I had claws and wasn't afraid to scratch.

We were completely one. As she moved so did I, my eyes looking at the youth with a bit of uncertainty. Her nature was brash and unpredictable, so I prepared myself for whatever would happen. The way she entered I was sure that she would be about to tell them both to stop. But then with a hearty laugh from her, I really wasn't sure what to say since I thought she was choosing sides. "Uhh." I was just about to start to question her actions but then I could hear the sarcasm laced inside of her voice. I wasn't sure what to say but I had to admit, I was quite surprised. Yet the skinny man and his friends seemed to scowl and grow angry at the truth that Hayline hurled.

"Excuse me gents! I don't suppose there would be a problem here right?" I interrupted, my appearance alone that of a shinobi and their eyes turning to me. I was the enforcer of all of this shit and I would enforce the rules dutifully as the men all walked away angrily. "You have a way with words Hayline." I really didn't know where she got those words from.

Those tools listened quite well, despite being drunk. I guess even they know when they are putting their lives on the line. The larger guy began to laugh before he tried to redeem his reputation, "Thanks little Missy! But you know I didn't need ya'help, right? I was just about to take a swing at his scrawny little baseball head." I began to laugh with him just to make a more personal connection with him, and then I took the pool stick from him and placed it on the pool table -- just in case. "Oh, I am sure you could have done more than that! But it is so not worth it. P.S., you can get him outside of the bar later if you want." I softly said the last part and all of the fellows around us began laughing hysterically.

"So who wants to play pool?!" I'd realigned the balls in the triangle and placed them on the reserved for them. I then took the stick and moved the triangle, only to leave the balls in a perfect triangular formation. I lowered my my back forward as I began to take aim at the white ball. I had to get this shot right... Moving my right arm back, I would quickly accelerate my arm forward and use the tip of the pool stick to knock the white ball directly into the other colored balls. Ching. The balls all scattered fast, ricocheting in every which way direction from the walls of the table. A striped ball fell into the hole and that would be my team for the rest of the game, striped.

So with everything well said and the whole drama of the moment eliminated, I finally found myself able to relax. My light eyes sat down as I watched Hayline engulf herself in a game of pool. It was quite relaxing to finally find myself at peace and not doing much work. She had showed a sense of leadership though her communication skills could use some worth. It was incredible what she was achieving in such a little time of me knowing her that I became jealous that I wasn't her sensei instead. So a sense of calm stretched over me as I merely watched her play pool with another person. Like I said before, this was her territory and I was merely an onlooker.

"You did well Hayline!" I applauded, unable to hold my outburst any longer.
