Cawww.
I shifted my gaze lazily down to the crow that sat at my feet, its feathers ruffled and fluffed, obviously angry. I felt my lips twitch into a vague smile; the expression only served to irritate the bird further, for it hopped slowly in place, flexing and relaxing its wings like a pinned butterfly. I felt a sudden urge to slap it away, tear through its flesh with my claws ... but it was not worth the wasted effort and ryo my poison would afford me. This, like all others, was a sup-par specimen that did not desire the kuinkarasu's time.
"I told you: if the fox is eating your young, you need to protect them. I cannot be of assistance to you in this matter, it is not my place. Learn to be strong; then perhaps I will protect you from greater dangers. If you cannot hold yourself together, why should I hold you?"[/color]
I was perched on a tree stump as if it were my throne; as if I was the queen of this short section of wooded area that served as my training grounds. All around me I heard the life of the forest, felt it breathe, and could not stop myself from inhaling with it. I did not need the petty nuances of mortals, much less the silly shinobi of Kumogakure. Why? I was much happier here, with my leg crossed over the other and my hair grown to obscure my eyes. Feral. A feral crow—was that possible?
