I sat, perched upon a sturdy branch of the many trees in this forest, far away from the giant arachnind in which I would face, in fact, I was approximately 30 meters away. I kept myself concealed as I peered down upon the cumbersome thing.

Alas, this battle would prove to be the exact thing my throat so direly lusted for. I imagined now the sight of the unfortunate thing's gut's being scorched by my coveted jutsu, and my blood rushed as I cheerfully thought about the different ways I could torture this arachnid. You may label me twisted, but I get a real kick out pushing my self to kill my opponent in the most... creative way possible. After all, it has to be done, so why not have get some amusement out of it. A few seconds past as I carelessly let my mind wander off, but I was able to collect myself within a reasonable time. Once my mind was completely at ease, I quickly created a battle plan. As much as I didn't want to admit, tearing this thing apart with my bare hands would prove a risky, and more than likely faulty attempt. Instead I wished to win a more, decisive victory. I imagined the creature wasn't too bright, so getting it's attention wouldn't be too hard.

Before any of this would come into play, I would ascend down to the bottom of the particularly large tree, almost twice as wide as the creature I observed, and very much taller than it. I would lay 6 explosive notes on strategic points of the tree trunk. Secondly, about 5 meters away from the trunk, I began forming a complicated string of handseals, and after completing them, I would slam my palm down on the ground, turning it into a very dangerous and threatning landmine of fire. With these two things in place, I was ready to begin.

My first real active move would be the drawing of my limited supply of kunai from holster, along with the last four of the explosive notes I had left after I created my setup. I placed the tag on the four kunai, ensuring that it wouldn't fall off them midflight. With this in place, I would advance about 18 meters ahead atop yet another tree, free from the spiders sight's, while maintaining a managable range between the creature and I. From my newly aqcuired hiding spot, I spied upon about a dozen or so wretched little offspring of the dreaded creature. Before I could do anything, I'd have to kill off the junior vermin first.

With the four kunai I had prepared, I lined up each with one of the four groups of three offspring, where I would aim to throw at the center most vermin. The kunai would strike each of the unlucky bastards at the same time. My next objective would be the spider, but man, did I have something special in store for it.

With my plan throughouly thought out, I seeked to actually carry it. With a deep breath, I prepared myself for the battle that was to come, and with great confidence, I threw all four kunai at the designated targets.

Let the games begin!

BOOM!

An echo was heard throughout the forest I'm sure, as even I, the one whom detonated the 4 explosive tags was rather startled from the large amount of sound it generated. Each of the groups were blown to bits, and I was pleased to see the plethora of spiderlings guts splattered across the floor. Hell, it even made me smile a bit.

The spider, whom was very close to all four explosions, was extremely frazzled, unaware of it's surroundings and very much enraged by the four explosions. With the spider flailing in a mad frenzy, I still had the element of suprise, this element would allow me to close in on the spider and go to town with it's legs.

From the tree, I quickly flickered as close as I could to the spider, and made a sprint for the remaining 8 meters. I was now right in the frenzied spider's face. I unsheathed my blade, and I quickly made one of eight of it's legs my new target. I aimed my sharpened steel at the joint like segment of the leg, and took a few hacks at it until it was completely amputated. Then, I simply did the same for another. However, my glutton for blood would prove to be my temporary downfall, for as I was targetting the third leg on the rightmost side of the spider, it became aware of my prescence and was able to slam me in a combined effort with it's remaining legs, sending me flying into a tree trunk 5 meters away, and in the opposite direction of the setup I had, might I add. Now, this behemoth was standing in my way to the setup that'd be the potential downfall of it, and getting pass this pissed of spider wouldn't be the easiest thing to accomplish. Things just got a little more complicated...

With the spider now imposing upon my path to it's demise, the daunting task of detouring around it would begin. I imagined the spider to be rather agile so taking a direct run for it wouldn't be in my best intrest. Somehow, I would have to sheperd it's attenion elsewhere so that I could reach my destination. Much harder than it sounds.

I would quickly bounce back about 8 meters into the brush to hide for from the spider for the time being, allowing me to collect my thoughts long enough to devise a plan. I dropped my chokuto, and then began a string of handseals, summoning a perfect dopplleganger composed of deadly ailments. The clone would nod it's head and pounced on the still enraged and furious with my dropped chokuto. Weaving and bobbing, it got under the spider, taking turns stabbing it's leg and oversized abdomen. A yelp of pain masked by it's fury pierced both our ears, and I knew that my clone's job was almost done.

The large spider slammed it's body down upon my poor clone's soul, and repeadetly until it's last breath was lost. A smile came across my face as the foolish spider tried to sqaush the clone once more, only to feel the fiery vengeance of a katon bunshin. The fiery explosin engulfed his whole underside in fire, and the end result was the spider running around in yet another frenzy in an attempt to dampen down the fire.

With this momentary cease fire, I would take the time to grab my kunai grenade from my holster and put it firmly within my grasp, for I knew when I was to trying and escape to my setup, that the spider would have no problem catching up. It was time I took this thing out for good.

Kunai grenade in hand, I made a 5 meter dash towards pass the behemoth arachnid, smirking as I did. The fainted sounds of it's squeals brought me great amusement, and only brought about the thoughts of the worthless being's painful howls that would be brought about once I finished it off.

These thoughts would be hastily replaced by a solid composure as I caught wind of the systematic tenderization of the ground by way of the spider. I could feel it coming up behind me at incredibly fast speeds, and if I didn't distance myself efficently, I'd fall prey to this very pissed off creature.

My eyes would flicker up to the vast forest infront of me, and in there I would find my method of spacing. I ascended up the trees to the canopy as if they were the stairs of a sound staircase. As I reached the top, I notated an estimate 10 meters between me and the spider, more than sufficent space for me to persist on my path undisturbed. At 27 meters away from my setup, I was a little over halfway there and feeling very confident.

The beginning of the end of this grotesque creature was impending, aswell as the satisfaction that I would attain from it's death. Now two thirds of the way there, I was jumping through the tree faster than ever.

I descended down the canopy to ground level, realizing just how much horizontal distance me and my opponent lacked. This, could be a problem, as I didn't find being caught in my very own jutsu would be a pleasant experience. So, as my left foot hit the ground, I would pivot on it, turning in a 180 to face the spider. After I was completely turned around, I would jump back a little bit, simaltaneously throwing my prepped kunai grenade to the poor creature. The explosive projectile would combust in it's face, sending potent shrapnel to pierce the spider's body. This would give me more than enough time to distance myself from the spider, while keeping it's attention. Whiel the spdier was distracted, I made it to my setup, which was about 17 meters away from the point of which I threw the kunai, and 12 meters away form my fiery minefield. I pounced back another ten meters to make sure I would be caught in the deadly flames.

The spider, now having ample time to collect it's self, now came rushing at me, right in the path of the Jirai no Jutsu. It only was able to charge another twelve meters from it's former position only to be right in the ranged of the jirai no jutsu. A huge, splendid column of deadly fire, spanning 20 meters around and 20 meters high, engulfed the the spider. It's weary cry carried throughout the air. Music to my ears. It was not enoguh though. As the spider tried to move from the pillar, 5 meters from the center, he'd find himself prime target for part two of my setup.

I would clasp my hands together to form the snake sign, detonating my explosive notes on the tree trunk. Not only did it blast away at the tree trunk in such a way that it caused it to fall and hammer the spider into the ground, the explosion itself was enough to finish off the spider. As the trunk slammed down on the spider, it's flaming abdomen burst, turning it ino a helpless heap of burning guts.

It was finished.

I advanced closer inspect my work, finding myself rather pleased with my work here today. It was now time to return home. Before this would happen, I would walking aonther 53 meters back to the sight of my beloved chokuto and retrieve it. After doing so, I began my trek back home.
