As I departed from the intricate shop titled Flesh Electronica, my hands would grace the sterile patch that had been placed on my neck. To those familiar with tattoos, it would be completely obvious that I received one. But unlike many others, my reasoning extended past towards the common acknowledgement of it all being cool. To be quite frank, ever since my youthful days I had been taught that my body was a temple and to be treated sacredly. To desecrate my temple would mean the downfall of myself and ignorantly I listened to these claims and even placed them on pedestals mentally. These were the truths that I believed in and stood for ever since then. So why now did I break these commandments that I had remained faithful too? Love.
Or at least that was what I vividly saw it as. My mind danced around the thoughts of her reaction. Would she approve of my actions or shoot them down? She had knew me well enough to predict most of my actions and even realized the true innate boldness within me. My sandals continued a repeating movement towards the northwest of Kumogakure. Everything about the village was perfect and a gentle constant breeze had been the blessing of Kumogakure in recent weeks. It wasn't like me to become spiritually immersed in all of this benevolence but I couldn't resist how great I felt currently. There was absolutely nothing that I could have desired that I already didn't have in my grasp.
Continuing to the northeast, the bustle and conversation of the village would steadily ascend. Stalls and other shops were set up in the market district and countless merchants shouted out their prices. I needed to purchase something to cook for dinner but I wasn't exactly sure what would be fitting for tonight. But almost as quickly as I extracted a minuscule green pouch of ryo did a youth tug at my kimono. My milky white eyes locked onto his frame in curiosity while he severely pointed to a stall. It took me a moment to come to the realization of what he wanted but I finally saw a woman of similar appearance to him but all the more elder. Something about this situation gave me the insight to suspect her as his grandmother but I didn't pry. In accordance to what he wanted from me, I casually strode towards the booth to see that she was selling a variety of fish.
I couldn't help but succumb to a perfect looking cod that I had more than enough to purchase. So with brief conversation the exchange would occur and both parties would be overly satisfied. I wanted her to be surprised and I wanted so much from her. But in the end I would be forced to wait and see how she reacted. Usually she finished her tasks before me so I guessed she had made herself at home per usual. Even then her tasks jumped from doing busy work to watching tv and other hobbies that one could never predict.
Finally my trek had come to an end with the sight of the concrete stairs that led to my apartment. After climbing them I would merely stick the key into the lock and turn the knob pushing the door open. With a white patch on my neck, a sack of fresh Cod on my shoulders attached to a stick, and a intriguing face I'd throw out the bait.
"Areru? Are you here?"
