Academy Training Ground # 3

I watched haplessly as she caught my kunai with little to no effort, I had to be more smart I thought. Privy to the positions of my comrades as the younger looking boy slipped underneath the ground and the blacked haired one had been flushed from his hiding spot.

'So our Jounin has the famed Byakugan. If only I could get a hold of her body...'

While thinking, my thoughts were cut short as both my partners actions came to light. As they executed their attacks I would regardless of sucess or failure allow my hands to clasp together. I'd use whichever attack succeded or even both as a simple distraction.

"Shintenshin no Jutsu!"

My spirit would travel forth at speeds rivaling that of my running speed, and although it wasn't fast it was defintetly faster than what Shintenshin alone was cpable of. This was thanks to Gôruden Yajirushi. My training in the Yamanaka secret techniques was well worth the arudous hours of training I put myself through.

Soul and mind projected from my mortal coil, I sought the body and mind of our Jounin. The distraction would be hopefully enough, mostly because my body fell to the earth with a loud thump, like a dead log. If this could just work erveything would go just right, if not, I hoped my teammates could protect my body.

My soul would be emmited the moment any attacks my teammates had come to do was done an finish. This was so that I was not inadvertedly hurt by mistake. It kinda sucked that they didn't my abilities and them mines, but it couldn't be helped. Hopefully I'd find sanctuary.

Shintenshin no Jutsu (Mind Body Change Technique)

Type: Supplementary / Secret Technique
Range: 0 - 10 meters
Special: Spirit moves slightly slower than user's top-speed, in a straight line. Mind body change can only target victims within 10 meters for up to 1 turn, plus 2 more meters and 1 extra turn each time retrained. Control can only be broke by opponent's with greater chakra capacities (bijuu, samehada, or by simply having more jutsu).
Description: Shintenshin no Jutsu is a specialized secret ninjutsu technique originally used for spying, and serves as the base for all Yamanka related capture. The ninja forms the needed handseals and then projects their spirit out of their body into another ninja or an animal. Unfortunately, the spirit flies in a straight line at a slow speeds; if the target moves and avoids the incoming spirit, the ninjas body falls lifeless until the spirit can find its way back to the body several minutes later. Because of the risk involved, the ninja must be very careful. While inhabiting the body of their opponent, the target still remains in their mind but their mental processes are forced aside as the ninja takes control. However if the target has strong mental fortitude, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Finally, while in the body of their target, if the ninja takes sudden physical damage, their original body will be hurt as well.

Gôruden Yajirushi(Golden Arrow)

Special: Range of jutsu is dependant on the number of times the Shintenshin no Jutsu has been retrained. When first learned, Gôruden Yajirushi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Considering the speed of the Shintenshin no Jutsu, there is the constant exposure to failure that the Yamanaka faces with its every use. In order to prevent this, there is the possibility of increasing its speed so that it will have a better chance to at hit the enemy. This increases the speed of the Shintenshin jutsu to be as fast at the user's top speed when casting.

[Yami]

One after another their combination plays were starting to kick in. From the young man whom seemed apprehensive of the situaton disappearing, to my own body seemingly dragged underneath the earth, then shocked twice by an explosion of lightning, then to add insult to injury; my body was supposed to be possesed by the little Yamanaka girl? Pfft, I don't think so. What would actually happen was the following:

I'd implore the power of the Kawarimi no jutsu which I had been preparing the whole time. I had switched out with a stray boulder an additional five meters behind and to my right. I strategically timed my substitution to allow their attacks to seemingly flow. After all, Akiyuki was rather hasty with utilizing his bunshins secret skill. Well at least that confirmed to my eyes which types of clones they were. They'd shock the boulder which was propped underground and since Noboru was attempting to scrummage my person, he'd feel his hands touching the boulder and thus...probably suffer the shock of two Shocking clones.

Considering Noboru was underground, I had created an ordinary Bunshin no Jutsu to superimpose the rock for the sole genin left, Yamanaka Saori. She'd thus utilize her Shintenshin no Jutsu, which I observed with my Byakugan from afar. A projection of her mind was shot forth at what would have been my head sticking out of the ground, of course...since it was just a boulder with a faux clone, her jutsu would most likely fail. However since I had been wise to mask the features of my Byakugan with my Henge no Jutsu, the little cutie would not be able to suspect me of having the legendary doujutsu and I planned to keep it that way for the duration if I could.

Thus my own position was crouched down behind another boulder as the events unfolded. I'd begin to perform some handseals before utilizing my first offensive jutsu in this little test: Fuusajin. A strong wind would ensue towards Saori's body and likewise Akiyuki whom had headed towards her. Sediment from the earth, kicking up in the form of dust would mask over them and the boulder I had switched with earlier. It'd attempt to knock them off their feet (or in Saori's case, flip her body over completely) and really shake things up.

"Shinobi Arts: Ninjutsu, you all still have lots more to work on...if you want these bells come find me as a team."

With that, I had to test my theory concerning these limbs of mines, according to my Byakugan there was excess chakra in my circulatory system, specifically around my legs, yet despite this, my body was positive the nerves were shot. My own examination would reveal otherwise, thus I needed to confirm if this was Yamanaka Ninjutsu or genjutsu. I'd bite my bottom lip hard, of course silly me this is a Shadow Clone and so "poof" I was out of the scene. Ah well, the moment the real me realized the truth of that jutsu...I'd have another shadow come to the field albeit from the north side and stick close to a cave that was further towards the left of where we met?

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)

Range: 0 - 5 meters
Special: Switch is near-instantaneous. When first learned, Kawarimi can only be used once per thread, plus one more each time retrained. Can only be used once per turn, regardless of retraining.. Requires the user to switch with objects equal or smaller in size; cannot switch with other living people or animals.
Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack - i.e. exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)

Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu
Range: Self
Special: Allows the user to create a clone without substance that resembles the user in every way, including retaining its movement speed. Clones cannot mold chakra nor perform jutsu, nor can they harm. Up to one clone can be made, plus one more each time retrained.
Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance that, although easily seen through by those with doujutsu, can fool the normal eye easily. Why? Simply because although without substance, the copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent, though no real damage can be done by it. Finally, as soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
Domain: Academy Student Ninjutsu.

Fuusajin (Dust Wind)

Type: Offensive / Fuuton Ninjutsu
Range: 10+ meters
Special: Produces a 180 degree cone of wind that disrupts all loose footing. Wind blasts can travel 10 meters, plus 10 more each time relearned.
Description: With the user’s weapon in hand or their limb extended, they will channel chakra across it so that when the weapon or limb is swung, a strong wind current comes forth. This current, although not heavy enough to do any threatening damage, can in fact knock opponents over, as well as severe loose sediment across the ground, bring up dust and whatever else lies on the floor. Useful for creating vision inhibiting storms, knocking people off balance, covering one’s tracks, escaping, and many, many more!

[Noboru]

Noboru had gone underneath the ground again, but things didn't seem to go his way as he realized a bit too late that she had utilized the body replacement technique that the genin was all too familiar with. And, he couldn't be sure what was going on up above the ground but it seemed their other team member had decided to utilize an attack as well. However, that attack would..back fire at Noboru as he had reached for their Jounin's pouch where the bells were. Essentially all of this happened in moments and one moment he saw their jounin, next a boulder and he didn't have enough time to move his hand back as electricity flowed around the boulder. However, he would utilize the same jutsu their Jounin had used, Kawarimi no Jutsu, switching a small rock/boulder that was within his five meter range. He safely kneeled behind a larger boulder that the rock had been near. He looked on at the battle... a boulder now in the middle of the training ground where their Jounin had once been. He looked at his fingers, burnt some from the electricity that he had touched. However, he wasn't sure whose jutsu/attack that had been. He frowned. They really needed to work together..

He watched from afar as a strong gust of wind blew through the training ground, across the boulder, sediment masking across both the smaller female genin and the black haired guy, who to Nobu appeared a lot more mysterious. Though, their Genin seemed to remain mysterious as well. The gust of wind would surely knock the others off their feet, however Nobu didn't have time to worry about them. He would utilize a wood clone, just as their Jounin announced to them that they had a lot more to work on. Tsch.. he thought as he decided to lurk around the training grounds to look for their Jounin. Though, he wasn't sure which way would be the safest, if his clone went to scout or his clone should join the others in case their Jounin decided to attack them. Though, of course it was them who were doing the attacking.. so he decided for his clone to do the scouting of course.

"Shinobi Arts: Ninjutsu, you all still have lots more to work on...if you want these bells come find me as a team."

He appeared from behind the boulder he had been crouched behind, to go check on his so called team mates. They weren't working well together, so he would take the incentive to be a sort of leader for the meantime. He drew his kodachi for the first time, looking on at his comrades to see the damage of the wind attack.. While, his clone would circle the training ground opposite from where the cave their Jounin was hiding. His clone would sneak behind boulders, scouting the area around the training ground.. hoping to perhaps find their Jounin so that Noboru could know where she'd be upon finding her. And even if his clone disappeared he would still be able to find her location and make an attack towards her or something but first.

"Guys..time for a plan," he announced, about the first one to speak since they had started. Seriously, they needed to work together more so that their techniques and attacks didn't backfire onto one another. He gripped his fingers tighter on his kodachi, the burn still hurting however he only seemed to shrug the pain off.

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu (Wood Clone Technique)

Type: Supplementary / Ninjutsu / Kekkei Touta
Range: See special!
Special: Clone speed matches that of the user. Up to one clone can be made at a time, plus one more each time retrained. Clone may only perform Mokuton based jutsu, and may absorb one blow equal to their highest 'Wood Dominion' rank before their wood hide shatters; retraining this jutsu grants them one extra hit of defense.
Description: After a few handseals, the user will cause beams of wood to emerge from their body, slowing taking shape into someone. Withing moment, this wood will morph and form a into a carbon copy of the user, capable of utilizing all the same Mokuton techniques as the original. This clone is created by altering the user's own cells with chakra, granting it more endurance than the normal Shadow Clones to the point it simply doesn't disappear when hit by the enemies' attacks. Moreover, since it has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. They have the ability to travel far distances from the user and are able to communicate with the original mentally at any time.

[Akiyuki]

This wasn’t right… The entire situation was running us lower ranked shinobi’s down asking us who have yet to even meet each other to cooperate, Since when did a bond form within moments? When could a cell know what each other were thinking when they hadn’t even properly introduced themselves this wasn’t some kind of manga or performance! The feelings of battle have started to bottle up inside of me though it was like this before the only difference was my rage that was looking for a way out.

The Jounin had escaped… Sadly it appeared she found her way out… I saw with my own two eyes as these feet I’ve had all my life carried me across my home terrain, but it didn’t seem like I was fast enough to become a threat as the ninjutsu was about to be utilized I understood it was pointed at the frail girl who for some reason fell out, I don’t know when I became such a kind hearted man, but my body leapt out with my cloak pulled to absorb the damage; dust, small rocks, and pure force of wind were halted off, and to make matters worst the other teammate appeared after the assault to regroup us as if he was the commander.

I took the frail one over my shoulder still not sure what had become of her, but if she didn’t come round soon I’d be forced to relocate her body somewhere far away, Though the sensei had brilliantly gotten away from us from the sky summoned by quick composition another version of myself would fall to the ground his hands performing its own piece and thus the sky was now clouded with more of my winged brethren. My mind was its mind as we shared a link or that was my belief and by closing both of its eyes the crows above would now become his eyes ever searching. “I’ll agree right now we wont be able to take her, and I truly want to end her lifegames” That glare of mine would be sent to the Mokuton user as I myself was curious what the girl thought, maybe she herself had a plan. “Any strategies? Special weaknesses? “ I concluded noting these were the most important things for now.

My mind entered a blank mind, and so the search for my body had begun. I was over confident and forgot to prepare for a mishap so I was forced to take the long way back. And to think this could have all been avoided had I taken into calculation a failure on my part. Our jounin was very cleaver, escaping our attacks with ease.

Luckily I had increased the speed at which my mind moved, so I wouldn't be stuck a dead husk. I felt my face be scratched and my body taken into the air, which caused me to mentally wince. 'Dammit...' I thought, we were in a tough bind, but hopefully we could maybe pull together.

Finally I established a connection with my body and thus entered it, my conscious taking over I found myself in the arms of the raven head boy, and a murder of crows cascaded the skies above. In front of us, the boy who had helped me earlier had

"Sorry!"

I muttered quickly as I fumbled from out of his arms, an onto the ground where I hid my blushing cheeks. From what I could tell she had gone from view, but I was sure she hadn't moved far.

"I didn't notice any weaknesses persay, but she didn't immediately release herself from my genjutsu, so I figure she's weak against it."

I spoke in a low tone so that our plans wouldn't possibly be compromised. We needed a strategy and we needed it fast. Ideas quickly raced through my mind within the heat of battle, it seemed harder to think. Was this how real combat was?

"I'm a Yamanaka, so If we can keep her still I can end this. We should try to surprise her, and keep her still. Just long enough so I can enter her mind. If you guys agree I think we should work towards that, and also I'm a medic so if your hurt tell me now. "

Concluding my speech I took a small breath of reprieve. I was nervous, the fact she could at any moment pop out caused my heart to knock angrily upon its walls. I awaited their responses, however they had better be quick about it, I doubted she allot us much time.

[Yami]

They must have all felt it by now, this was the difference between experience and talent. A few well placed strikes wouldn't help them to achieve the rank of Chuunin. My Wind jutsu had kicked up enough dust to obscure the scene for awhile, though once they regrouped and spoke, it would have died down. Within the skies, the murder of crows would not be able to spot anything because...I wasn't there, litterally. My shadow's time had expired but soon another "me" would take my place, albeit out of range of those pesky crows, yet they were still within my Byakugan's range. I decided that I would provide three "clues" to my location, specifically little tidbits that they could assess, just as they would in the Chuunin exams.

Should they travel towards the few cave entrances around the field, one entrance would have an instance of me, complete with a Kunai in hand. If they doubled around the field, closer towards the entrace of the academy, they would find a torn piece of fabric, with a senbon keeping it in place, followed by only one bell. Lastly, if they investigated approximately 51 meters from their current location I'd leave with them a scroll. It would be very well hidden amongst the rocks and nigh conspicous due to it's earthly tones. However it wasn't "rigged" with any sort of trap, it was just under careful watch from me, another 50 meters away. What was the significance of this little excercise? Well, true we weren't within the heroic world of boys manga, where the believe in your peers could escalate you to new heights...and yet, that's exactly the way of shinobi team combat. Working together with people whom you've never met, adjusting on the fly, this was what it meant to be a Chuunin, for ones journey into the world of shinobi required team work and adaptability. In my heart, I wished them the best of luck, if they weren't ready I wouldn't recommend them for the exams so they needed to work hard.

[Noboru]

"Well...I believe she's hiding now." he said looking around some with his eyes, though his body was faced towards his two supposedly 'team mates'. His mind searching the area through his clone as they communicated with one another. He saw what his clone saw. However, there was no sign of their Jounin quite yet. And he couldn't be sure if or when she would make an attack on them, though he supposed she wouldn't for they were the ones who were basically supposed to be attacking her. She was just defending and using jutsus so that they wouldn't get the bells from her.

Their little genin girl recovered quickly and brought up the fact about her use of genjustu on their jounin. That was one of the reasons he was able to quickly draw her underneath the ground and why their Jounin had kneeled down onto her knees, it was cause of the Yamanaka's genjutsu. "Seems she's been using clones as well.." he nodded briefly towards the boulder, gripping the handle of his kodachi tighter at Saori's mention that she could heal. The burn wouldn't greatly effect him, it was the fact that they'd sort of just rushed in and attacked all at once. "We.. need to work together, use our strengths against her.." he said quietly so that where ever their Jounin was she couldn't readily hear him. He wasn't much of a leader, but he had addressed the problem which they should have probably done at first..

He moved closer to the two, "As we speak.. I'm searching the area for her," he said in a quiet, low whisper. His eyes wandering around them. He communicated with his clone mentally as it ran past boulder after boulder, using the scenery to its advantage as it ducked behind and around rocks. Its eyes searching for any sign of their 'mysterious' Jounin. It worked its way around towards the entrance to the academy. However, as it did Nobu's wood clone found a torn piece of cloth..a senbon holding it in place. A bell attached to it as well.. His clone stayed hidden, looking around from its hiding place for any sign of their Jounin or that it may be a trap. Nobu communicated with his clone and soon found out about cloth, senbon and one bell.. "Not sure..but she may be in the direction of the entrance to the academy but it may be a trap," he whispered to the others two, giving no real hint that something quite informative had come up. They still needed a plan..

[Akiyuki]

It was actually quite adorable watching the small girl wiggle her way from my grip, but it left me wondering what was I actually thinking helping her in that situation… Maybe being put on a team was effecting me in a way I didn’t quite grasp after all I hadn’t stuck my neck out for anyone else before, but those feelings would have to wait as we were on the battlefield.

Like Nobu those now red orbs flared with excitement looking from left to right following up on where his gaze had been this was just incase detail may have been skipped after all with a Jounin wasn’t no joke… Though she sure acted like a fool. I’d listen to Nobu and the young Yamanaka as they spoke taking in the information the two were giving, I was indeed rather interested in what the two had discovered and the fact that Nobu had his clone out there searching was indeed a good plan as for me? I had my way of doing things. “Good job you two. I am a senor and puppeteer of the Akegarasu clan.” My vision turned to the two as I spoke those words so only their ears would pick it up.

I’d look at the clone who was not even a meter beside me his eyes were closed and his hands remained in the bird symbol now the crows that were once above us scattered into their different directions wildly flapping their wings they took off at kunai speeds. “Those birds are my brethren, and this guy can see through their eyes… If he-” My words were brought to a halt after all through my mental link the five of the crows one having its optics shared closed in on the scroll. My face turned grim now looking at my teammates Nobu himself happened to find something though I was worried about the outcome… Shit. My thoughts were now focused completely on the team as the crows would latch on the scroll in attempt to pull it while the rest of the murder lurked in safety.

My attention quickly focused back on the two as I'd fill them in on the situation considering the scroll. "As of now my crows have found a scroll, but she doesn't seem to be in the same area, and in a different direction than your search." I'd ponder for a second that maybe she was in the cave near the entrance to the training grounds it was possible... It was worth it to at least investigate though I'd have to share my opinion with these two. “I agree with this guy… Its possible, we’ll close in on the entrance slowly… Use clones and sensing techniques to discover if that’s where she lies.. Agreed?” I admit I wasn’t the one to act like this usually I’d tell them not to get in my way and rush to the location with all guns a blazing, but it felt weird this time with this woman I couldn’t help, but feel like I met her before and she honestly pissed me off… Though I’d have to just live with it in order to keep my cool. “We’ll then try to follow the chibi’s plan and attempt to place her in another Genjutsu then follow up and bite her to death.” My final words as I pulled my chained dart from behind my cloak and placed it along the front in a easier location.

I listened intently when my comrades spoke, concocting a plan was harder than I had once thought, but I knew that we'd manage and come up with something. So our team comprised of me-a Yamanaka, and a Akegarasu. The boy who had helped me up didn't bother telling us his specialization, but I was hoping he'd divulge it soon enough.

"Agreed!"

The silver haired child said nodding as she awaited for one of them to take the lead. Saori wasn't much a sensor, and even worse she didn't have a means of scouting unless she herself took part in it. "so were heading for the entrance, guess I should use it...."
Projecting my chakra about me I was now able to project my thoughts into that of others so that they could know my intent.

"Both of you don't be afraid it's just me. To keep our enemy in the dark about our plans from now on think all you want to say an i'll relay it to our team. This should help so that we don't compromise our plan. "

Speaking I'd take a short lead ahead of the others keeping a low profile as I awaited one of them to take the forefront of the search for our sensei. I wasn't suited to head a group, simply provide support. Nothing more, nothing less. We succeed, no matter what I thought!

Shishinsui no Jutsu (Mind Diving Speech Technique)

Type: Supplementary / Secret Technique
Range: 0 - 50 meters
Special: Must be aware of someone's existence in order to speak to them telepathically. Each time retrained, the user gains an additional 10 meters to their overall range.
Description: One of the Yamanaka's most essential ability involves the transient nature of their minds and souls. In this case, by intermingling the secrets behind the techniques which allow their soul to travel forth, the Yamanaka projects their chakra around so that they can speak into the minds of those they are aware of.
Domain: Yamanaka.

[Yami]

Carefully I observed the scroll until the crows attempted to scoop it up. At which point I simply dispelled myself, causing the scroll to poof with me. Previously I took note of the various methods they used in order to check out the area. They weighed their options well which pleased me. Thus the only thing left to do was to meet with them at the path they chose and see what conclusions they would come up with. Once they and their detection methods had moved on, I'd have another shadow come in. My legs moving swiftly due to my expertise in Taijutsu, I was sure to take the shortcut towards the academy as I noticed that was the direction they were headed. Of course I wouldn't approach them just yet. I'd observe them from within the entranceway to the academy, keeping well out of sight.

Once they happened towards the academy, they'd notice a piece of cloth which was from my own attire, stabbed through into the ground via a senbon. Attached to it was one of the elusive bells they were searching for. There were no traps as far as they could tell because there really wasn't any, though a good shinobi would no doubt proceed with caution. The sight of one bell meant that only one of the three of them could pass and thus go onto the Chuunin exams, something that I would make clear once they had performed their analysis as a team. For you see, I would make my presence known to them once they decided what to do with the bell.

"So I see you decided to head back towards your origin. I'd like you all to tell me what made you decide on this path and how badly you want to become a chuunin. As you can see, there is one bell before all of you, the one who takes that bell receives my official recommendation to go to the chuunin exam and can proceed to leave immediately. The rest...well they'll be staying back in Kumogakure with me, doing remedial tests."

This was the final stage of the test, surely if they had taken the route towards the caves and encountered my bunshin they'd have definitely failed. A shinobi had to search for the enemy with caution and not with desperation. Alternatively, discovering the scroll would have also been a beneficial route but alas, my team didn't seem bent on exploration...they were efficient which was good in its own right. Though it also meant they had impatience, which is why I setup this last portion of the test to ensure they had a cool head and base wit.

"So, which of you wants the right to leave for the chuunin exams?"

[Noboru]

Noboru's wood clone stayed back behind a boulder, watching the piece of cloth and the bell and for any decision that Noboru or the group made. However, upon the groups decision his clone didn't move because the three would be there soon. The three agreed to check out the area Nobu found which was near the entrance to the academy. Nobu himself gripped his kodachi as he stepped forward, almost as if he was the leader of the group..though it hadn't readily been announced. He had just brought up the 'problem' and some suggestions but really there shouldn't be a leader when all three of them should be working together. "Hai.." Nobu half-whispered as he moved towards the entrance, moving between boulders, slowly making his way to the entrance and to the opposite side of where his clone was.

Nobu was about to block the young Yamanaka out of his mind, though he wasn't quite sure how.. but he didn't need to be on alert as she begin to explain to them that it was okay. Hai.. Noboru thought in his mind towards Saori. I'm going to have my clone check the cloth out..but so far I don't see anything.. he added as he watched the bell from where he was. His clone stepped forward, but soon their Jounin decided to show herself..

Nobu grinned as she wanted them to tell her why they had decided to go this way instead of towards the scroll or worse having found her clone at the cave. He relayed a message through to his clone, masking his hiding place (he hoped). "Well..surely you wouldn't have left a bell unwatched.." his clone said, speaking for Nobu. His clone would pretty much act like Noboru himself and placed his hands on his hips and grinned some, "And, if only one of us is able to go..then I will forfeit accepting the bell for since we were expected to work as a team..and worked as one I don't want the bell if it means only one of us goes. I'd rather stay behind then not watch all three of us go..." his clone said, then stepped away from the bell. Noboru himself watched from his hiding place, waiting to see what his team mates would do as well as what their Jounin thought.

But surely..we can grab both that one bell as well as the other two upon her person.. he thought, relaying the message to Saori and Akiyuki. He hoped that they agreed with what he had said to their Jounin.. if not, then it wasn't his luck.

These eyes of mine were rather annoyed as my clone indeed explained the occurrence of what happened with the scroll… Turns out it was a fake just another annoyance I thought flying through those hand seals of mine I’d activate the jutsu that would allow the world to open to me. I’d accept this new look as we would now go on our search for this cave thankfully his clone was already looking in on something else for us.

I’d turn my eyes in the direction my crows were coming from and as quickly as I had looked to see them they’d pass over and rush ahead of us. With eyes closed now I’d duck behind my clone as we came up on the cloth we’d all be forced to witness the arrival of our jounin speaking of some complete non-sense that I had no interest in… She was speaking so pride fully about the exams and how one of us would have to take the bells, how could she be so backwards? First this woman tells us that we have to work together and now, now she wants us to chose who will betray us the first? Ah maybe she was just attempting her hardest to anger me… Oh yeah these thoughts were being said loudly in my mind especially the.. “I’m going to kill her… Backwards and annoying…I wont feel right if I don’t land one hit..” The information from Nobu was quite spot on…

If I got the chance to take her out and grab the bells that she was hiding on her person that’d be fine even if this person was made completely of chakra.. Leave it to someone like her not to even face her own students pfft great… Though with nothing left in my mind I’d speak out in words “I don’t want that bell…. I’m wanting something more than that bell.” I said with that crimson glare staring down the jounin.

I was glad we took Noboru's suggestion an wen't towards the cave entrance. Our jounin wasted no time popping out, telling us that only one from our team would be making it to the exams. I wasn't the brightest star out there, but I knew what she spoke of contridicted what she said before about being a team.

'I'm with you, lets get all of them.'

I realyed the thoughts to both of my comardes, it was time to implemenmt our plans, which was to capture her in a genjutsu. We'd need to work as a team, and so I'd be the supportive crutch which meshed our team together. That I felt was my duty to our group.

'I'm with you, lets get all of them. Okay guys lets do this right. I'll place her under a genjutsu, Akiyuki distracts her and you Noboru, restarin her! Than leave the rest to me!'

I spoke enthusiastically, relaying the plan to both of them as my hands flashed, our jounin was roughly nine meters away, just within my range of dominion.

"Horoshi no Jutsu!"

Speaking aloud if captured Kimidori would fall under my spell and she'd think ants were crawling beneath her skin, and than they'd burrow to the surface. It was a jutsu that made even the toughest of shinobi go mad, and I was hoping it'd be enough to carry our plans to fruition.

Special: AAffects targets within 10 meters of the user, plus 10 more each time retrained.
Description: Once the needed seals have been formed, the target of the victim becomes aware of movement under their own skin, like there’s something underneath. At this point the skin on the victim breaks open into little holes, and hundreds of ants climb from the openings. These ants quickly cover the victim’s skin and overwhelm them. This can act as a major distraction as the victim will generally try to get them off in a panic.

Of course I always wielded my trusty Byakugan, even if I had disguised my efforts. Of course I took note of Noboru's clone moving around. He was rather cautious in his observation, not being hasty. This showed he had the necessary patience to become a chuunin. However his response was what sealed the deal for me. He forfeited the chance to become a chuunin, because he wanted to do this as a team. My expression remained stoic as he spoke, awaiting the others to speak up as well.

The next to speak was Akiyuki, I expected his response to be brash and undermining but he had no idea of the little surprise I had waiting for him. Still, even he succeeded in my little test. He was able to put aside his agenda for something much more valuable. Thus the last person I had to test was Saori. I took note of her hands moving rapidly, I couldn't help but sigh. The only words she spoke was "Horoshi no Jutsu", to which I held up my hand to indicate "stop".

"Saori-chan, a chuunin must not be too quick on the draw. I admire that you were cautious of a potential trap but if you're too eager to attack the enemy you'll put your squad in danger. Especially when I came to tell you that you all passed."

That should get all of there attention before I dispursed into a puff of smoke. I'd then reappear this time as my true self. "My name is Hibari Kimidori, I'm your Jounin-sensei. Sorry we don't have any time for proper formalities because I have to send you off now. You'll be late if you don't leave right away but I've got a little something for each of you based on your performance today."

I'd toss them three writing scrolls, each of them had a bell except for the one tossed to Noboru. For him, I'd walk over to the piece of cloth and retrieve the senbon and bell. I'd proceed to walk up to him and hold out the bell for him to accept. "You're acting Captain for this team until you return. Come back to me as Chuunin okay?" I'd then look to all of them one more time.

"The scrolls contain recommended jutsu for you to learn while you travel and some suggested team patterns. Also, those scrolls will clear you to leave for the exams. Good luck!" I'd then extend my arm outward, indicating for them to leave immediately.

I guess we had indeed made the correct choice since this jounin had decided that she was going to go ahead and accept all of us… I wasn’t sure why she would do such a thing once again I was about done with her twisted mind games for someone who was so adult looking she was truly annoying and was just trying to piss me off… This I was sure of, but the sense of my anger my true anger came to light!

The woman that emerged was not the woman I had known to claim to be our sensei, but that USELESS KUNOICHI FROM BEFORE. How dare she fool us at such a crucial time in our lives and careers we were going to take the next step soon and climb the ranks of this vicious world a route which would allow us to protect the place we noble ninja’s inhabited. At such a time she decided to play mind games I couldn’t stand her for this she knew she was wrong… In ever sense of the word she could not be forgiven even after I had take the scroll of recommendation a graduation of sorts…

Though this anger of mine wasn’t that I wanted her to be sorry I was angry that she didn’t fight with my team and I as if we were on the same level instead she hid behind her clone a clone which couldn’t ever dream of pulling out our true potential.. It wasn’t fair. These were my thoughts, but I couldn’t allow my face to reflected still with that cold glare I stared into the eyes of this woman…. I hoped that I would shake her, but then I started to see the holes in my person… I wasn’t strong enough? No that wasn’t the reason that couldn’t of been the reason…. I turned my attention to Nobu and Saori who I hoped would have faces of happiness or maybe their expression was like mine? Disappointed….

Though I understood this team a bit more now we would surely take ourselves to the next level and to do that the exams were a place we needed to be… Respectfully I’d wave and bow my head to the Jounin while thinking to the young Yamanaka who would hopefully still be in my head the times and location I was available to leave for the Exams…. With my cloak floating in the wind of our windy village this Genin took his exit from the training grounds indulging himself in his pride once again.
