Noboru finally made it to the Summit where the chuunin exams were supposed to take place. He had traveled here from the lightning country with one of his team mates. His other team mate had been unable to come with them though she had seen them off. He walked into the lobby of the place and looked around, spotting lots of ninjas who he presumed were going to take part in the exams. He looked around some more and spotted the front desk where he could register.

Walking up he began to register, he told the person his name "Dokuzetsu Noboru, from Kumogakure no Sato. I am here to part take in the exams along with my team mate," he said then after filling out information he went to look around the lobby and stuff.

Noboru fell behind his team mates by five to ten minutes, he hoped that they didn't mind the wait. He had wanted to be prepared and also visited his mother before he headed to the location designated by Akiyuki the day before. Nobu walked down the pathway, his haori blowing in the wind as he did. For a moment he seemed older with wearing his light blue and white haori. He usually didn't adorn himself with it however since he was traveling awhile and it might change weather he had to be prepared. On his back he had a pack for traveling with various items inside, mostly his weapons and such were on his belt. It was a bit heavier than he was used to but he had recently visited the shop.

He waved to his team mates. The two already seemed to be here. He hoped he hadn't had then wait long. "Sorry..I wanted to visit my mother before I left," he said to them. On a normal mission he usually didn't visit his mother to tell her that he was leaving, however this was special. Something he might not come back from, though the likely hood of that happening was slim. "You guys ready? No looking back..or chickening out now," he said, jokingly. Hoping they wouldn't take what he said to heart. They seemed to be wanting to do the chuunin exams. "Hai! Alright lets not be late then," he said and then stepped forward ahead of the two, towards the land of iron. A place he had never been to before. He hoped this would be exciting, though he knew it would be hard as well. He would try to lead his team to victory! This was something he could put his heart and soul into. Passing the chuunin exams!

Nobo walked into the shop located outside of the village intending to fill up his arsenal before he left for the chuunin exams. He wanted to be well prepared and with the missions he had taken his inventory felt a bit light, though his money felt heavy so he thought he'd even it up a bit. He waited for his 'order' to be ready..

Noboru's wood clone stayed back behind a boulder, watching the piece of cloth and the bell and for any decision that Noboru or the group made. However, upon the groups decision his clone didn't move because the three would be there soon. The three agreed to check out the area Nobu found which was near the entrance to the academy. Nobu himself gripped his kodachi as he stepped forward, almost as if he was the leader of the group..though it hadn't readily been announced. He had just brought up the 'problem' and some suggestions but really there shouldn't be a leader when all three of them should be working together. "Hai.." Nobu half-whispered as he moved towards the entrance, moving between boulders, slowly making his way to the entrance and to the opposite side of where his clone was.

Nobu was about to block the young Yamanaka out of his mind, though he wasn't quite sure how.. but he didn't need to be on alert as she begin to explain to them that it was okay. Hai.. Noboru thought in his mind towards Saori. I'm going to have my clone check the cloth out..but so far I don't see anything.. he added as he watched the bell from where he was. His clone stepped forward, but soon their Jounin decided to show herself..

Nobu grinned as she wanted them to tell her why they had decided to go this way instead of towards the scroll or worse having found her clone at the cave. He relayed a message through to his clone, masking his hiding place (he hoped). "Well..surely you wouldn't have left a bell unwatched.." his clone said, speaking for Nobu. His clone would pretty much act like Noboru himself and placed his hands on his hips and grinned some, "And, if only one of us is able to go..then I will forfeit accepting the bell for since we were expected to work as a team..and worked as one I don't want the bell if it means only one of us goes. I'd rather stay behind then not watch all three of us go..." his clone said, then stepped away from the bell. Noboru himself watched from his hiding place, waiting to see what his team mates would do as well as what their Jounin thought.

But surely..we can grab both that one bell as well as the other two upon her person.. he thought, relaying the message to Saori and Akiyuki. He hoped that they agreed with what he had said to their Jounin.. if not, then it wasn't his luck.

Of course two boulders wasn't quite clearing away any of the paths. In an effort to get more done, he focused on the mid-range boulders. Back and forth he went assisting with the clearance of the pathway he fred up earlier. With some headway made, he'd proceed to the pulleys. It was better to have them much closer on the path for convenience, lest they were all liable to pull out their backs. Nobu may have been confident in his strength but he couldn't afford to be reckless either. They'd forge through with this path which would provide access towards the far outskirts of Kumogakure.

Supposedly, behind all of the fallen rock/debris, there was supposed to be a cave. The cave lead underground to mines, which used to provide valuable chakra based minerals. If the village could get its hand on some of them, it would be able to craft the finest of swords. The thought that he contributed towards the recovery of the village, hmm maybe he'd even be able to get a discount on one of those specially made swords too. Yeah, that definitely got the teen's confidence up a notch. He proceeded to haul in new pulleys so that boulders could be stored on them.

Eventually the path was cleared up considerably. Some of the larger boulders were shoved to the sides. The pulleys couldn't take those, even the carts wouldn't be effective for holding them. For a moment, Nobu began to think about what would happen to these larger rocks before his attention was called to a bigger problem. Further up ahead, they found the cave that was mentioned prior. A huge boulder seemed to blocking the entrace, if they wanted to move it off to the side, it would require everyone's effort in a straight push. Thus many ninja and civilian alike gathered together.

They agreed to do it on three, two, one, a perfect unison. Their push had lots of weight behind it but for some reason the boulder wouldn't budge! Convinced that they just needed another go, they'd prepare themselves for another push. Once more, the boulder did not budge which caused murmurs amongst the group. Nobu cusped his chin, allowing it to fit in-between the ridges of his index and thumb. Like the rest of his comrades, he wondered why this boulder would not budge. His eyes veering around it as best as he could, before looking down. Apparently it was stuck in the ground, this made the genin curious.

The mokuton genin reached the area blocked with rocks quicker than he thought it would take to get there. And as he hoped there were already a few ninjas and even civilians helping out. Even though Nobu had some earth jutsu release knowledge, there wasn't much he could do to help at the moment. So, he would just have to do some heavy lifting! He went over to a person nearest to him and told him,"Hey I'm here to help out," a small eager grin on his face as he spoke to the man. It seemed by the time Nobu had arrived that a good bit of the passageway had been cleared but they still had some work ahead of them. The man told him that they needed as much help as they could get and that there was still one more passage to clear for today. He gave the man a thumbs up and said, "I'll help as much as I can. I am a ninja after all," he announced, though he didn't want to straight out point that he was much stronger than the civilians who were helping out. Any help was helpful.

The man told Nobu to go and help some of the other ninjas and civilians who were working on the larger rocks that were blocking the passage. He nodded and walked over to help them. As he did, he looked up at the sun as it glared down upon them. Sometimes the rocky and mountainous areas of the Lightning country could be pretty dry at times, however it could also rain and even on the highest peaks make lightning, which the land was named for. It was pretty hot today, but there seemed to be some civilians were serving water to those that were taking breaks or seemed exhausted. It seemed that they already had a sort of plan already worked out. He smiled and went over to help a older man who was carrying a medium sized rock.

"Here, let me help." he said before taking the medium sized rock off the older man's hands. It was pretty heavy, but there was no way he'd show any signs of struggle on his face. He had his pride as a ninja to think about. Thus he followed the instructions of the older gentleman, moving the rock off to the far right. They had many of them stacked on several pulleys. A quick glance at how much was filled, gauging the remaining work better. However he couldn't think about it further as one of the ninja on sight called him over. "Oh kid, do you have any doton jutsu?" It was an interesting question, handling elements wasn't something a genin normally had, thankfully Nobu did.

"Yeah, whatcha need?" he responded confidently as he headed over to the direction the older ninja instructed. There was a boulder which lodged itself inbetween one of the paths. It was a funny arrangement, due to it's positioning, it made it difficult to even clear any of the boulders on that path. Nobu proceeded to cross his arms at chest level, his head tilted to the left. He had begun to contemplate what he could do with his doton jutsu, which while useful was a bit limited. That was when something caught his eyes. The stone seemed to be lodged into the earth itself, which gave him an idea!
