Summit HQ

The Summit HQ, an advanced pyramid-shaped building in the heart of the Gokage Kaidan, has been restored and brought back to its former glory. Now the site of Chuunin Exam preparation, all participants are invited to register and enjoy the complementary quarters provided for all participants in between their matches. Furthermore, for all visitors and spectators, several commodities exist in order to make their time there as memorable as possible.

As with most areas within Iron, Samurai exist to patrol at all times. On top of having a barracks within the Summit, many patrol the grounds all over, ready to assist lost Genin and neutralize any conflict. Below is a detailed breakdown on the Summit's contents.

• Lobby - The main base of the pyramid, this large, 75 meter area has been littered with Examiners and Samurai assisting arriving Genin with registration, and guiding spectators to the right locations. Come here to register your presence as a participant, as well as to obtain free room and board.
  
  
  
• Floor's 1 - 10 - Shops, shops, shops. From weapons and items to smithies, you're bound to find something to fit your tastes here!
  
  
  
• Floors 11 - 20 - Lobbies and lounges. From bars to restaurants, come here to eat some good stuff and enjoy the Exam fodder from behind the big screen.
  
  
  
• Floors 21+ - Lodging. From Genin quarters to the pent house suites reserved for VIP spectators, all rooms can be found here!

Keep in mind elevators connect the floors, but certain areas cannot be passed on without proper identification. Have fun and RP trying to figure out where you can and can't go!

Though it was still too early for Genin to appear at their doors, the receptionist awaiting within the lobby of the Summit eagerly counted hours until the big day would come. Though only a few away, she had been moved in early alongside her staff, ordered to prepared for the incoming rush. For such a large building, their presence is severely dwarfed, further raising her anxiousness for the Exam's beginning.

But she knew they'd be here soon. Very soon...

Tensa would be the first to enter the Summit. He left Kii to his sightseeing, as he informed him that they had some small time before the exams actually begun. Only he need not be late for the registration. He himself, however, held no interest in examining the lands. His mind was set on one goal. Blowing any and all competitors away in the exams. He has heard stories of Genin coming but not passing, being forced to wait a year before they could try again. Other Genin sometimes left maimed or worse. They were nothing more than stories however. At least this is the outlook. He wouldn't worry about it as though it would happen to himself.

The desk where an assistant waited for the Genin to show up stretched a mere ten meters back. They locked eyes. The assistant knew why the man wearing the Konoha shinobi arrived.

"Ahhh. Seems Konoha has a promising shinobi. To be here first. Congratulations on winning your first contest." A small chuckle emerged after the speech. Tensa began his tread forward towards her, stopping at the desk to register.

"We only need your name, village, and identification." She smiled kindly, awaiting the shinobi to follow her orders. Tensa raised an eyebrow. Two identification process were absolutely silly. the safety of the shinobi were their top priority he had to assume. Anything could happen. Offering what information he was asked off, the assistant would enter him into the data base.

"Thank you. Please wait here. The Summit has much to offer and...," Her speech was cut off.

"Thanks." The words slipped from the Genin's mouth as he walked off to find a decent place to sit.

Tensa had arrived some time before me, as I’d become thoroughly distracted by all the new sights! It was amazing! The bridge, the samurai, the snow, their buildings, the people, everything! I’d even seen some shinobi from other villages, which excited me. I’d decided, once I saw a shinobi from a new village again, I would approach them and say hello. Until then, I figured it would probably be best if I took care of everything I needed to before the exams began. After all, that was my reason for being here in the first place!

With a grin, I waltzed into the lobby of the massive pyramid-shaped building. I’d already spent at least twenty minutes staring in amazement at the structure from the outside, and had run around it at least five times. I couldn’t afford to miss anything about it! Now, though, I got to see the inside. Still indescribably excited, I approached the receptionist with a grin. This process seemed to take less time (and effort) than the first, thankfully.

”Senzoku Kii, from Konohagakure, signing up!” I said proudly, handing her my identification. She nodded as she looked over a few different lists, and after a moment of silence returned my identification with a smile and told me everything was done.

I was free! Although I hadn’t brought anything with me aside from what I was wearing, I decided to find the room in which I was staying first. Removing the hooded cloak I wore around my neck, I carried it slung over my left forearm as I searched obliviously for the elevator. Catching sight of Tensa, I gave him a wave and a smile before going back to my search. After a while (far longer than it should have taken me, truly), I found the elevator and made my way up to the top levels where our rooms were. I noticed that some floors weren’t accessible by elevator, though I supposed that was to be expected. With a shrug, I exited the elevator and wandered the halls until I found the room I was assigned.

”Hah!” I said, barging in excitedly. Though the room itself wasn’t extremely impressive, it wasn’t disappointing, either. With many genin coming from all over, the rooms couldn’t be extremely nice. So, with a sigh, I threw my cloak over onto the table and fell lazily back onto my bed, thinking over what I’d seen.

The half-masked ninja would saunter over into the compound, analyzing every detail with a tinge of interest and slight awe. Striding over to what he presumed was the main receptionist's desk, with Yukiko following closely behind, he'd smile. "Greetings. We're registering for the Chuunin Exams, miss. One, 'Atlas Burabiya' and miss 'Yukiko Fuyumori' here. We hail from Cloud."

After going through the necessary identification protocols, and being handed a pamphlet that stated he had received free room and board, the Cloud ninja would thank the young woman and wait for Yukiko to finish her registration. As he did so, he would open the pamphlet and read through it with a curious gleam in his eye. There was food it seemed, to which his stomach would growl in reply. "Hey Yuki," He'd start, turning towards her once she had finished checking in. "There are restaurants on Floors 11 - 20. You fancy something to eat?"

[Yuki-chan]

The female looked around in the compound they had entered. 'What a huge place!' thought Yukiko as they walked over to the counter. "Greetings. We're registering for the Chuunin Exams, miss. One, 'Atlas Burabiya' and miss 'Yukiko Fuyumori' here. We hail from Cloud." said the male.

Both of them had to fill in some information sheets about birth date, missions and other things that were necessary to know. The girl handed in the paper and showed her shinobi ID as well. They were given a pamphlet that had information about the building plus the hotel rooms. "Hey Yuki, there are restaurants on Floors 11 - 20. You fancy something to eat?" said Atlas.

"Mhm. I haven't eaten much since we left home" said the Genin with a smile on her face. The pamphlet said that they were given four meals per day free plus some snacks. 'Oh well. If it becomes too much for me, at least I can enjoy my stay while senpai is finishing up his part' thought the female.

[Kaeor]

The Akegarasu would enter shortly with his eyes looking at the grand building. There was much to be admired here but it would be best to keep focused on the task at hand. "Kaeor Meibatsu from Kumogakure." he announced to the receptionist with a slight grin on his face. There didn't seem to be many others around yet so he could only guess it was a bit too early to be there. Nonetheless, it would give him time to let his mind at ease. Areru was supposed to be here anyways so he would only meander around a bit and take a look at the surrounding area. Shortly his room key and pass would be handed to him though he would only linger in the lobby a bit longer. Maybe she wasn't too far behind.

One by one they arrived, the pride of their nations shining brightly with chests held high. It made the assistant happier than ever to know that the big day had finally arrived, and without hesitation, a whistle on her behalf would alert the others to brace themselves for the rush. As they each reached the receptionist, their names would be registered, confirmed, and placed within the computer. Though the Genin could not see, sensors existed across the building, guests from a lost land near Iron. With their ninjutsu skills and the Samurai's Taijutsu ability, there was no mess they couldn't contain.

Intruders, be warned - the sensors WILL find you...! She thought to herself in a meaningful way, but it was all gone once another Genin arrived. Her dazed look quickly was lost as she went through the motions, remembering that any fishy situations would be reported to her from the radio within her ear - for now, thankfully, nothing had happened. The times, they were so crazy...

Entering into the large lobby area, Hirihi was blown away by the sheer magnitude of the place. It was a large building to look at from the outside, but to see it from the inside, you'd think it was three times its size! Moving into the main lobby area, Hirihi looked for where she was supposed to get registered. She had registered at the security checkpoint, but she was fairly certain that there was more that needed to be done than that. There had been some strict guidelines to the entrance into these exams. Walking up to a woman who seemed to be in charge, Hirihi would see that there were forms to fill out with their information. She knew she couldn't have had a simple name and weapon's log registration to get into this thing.

Filling out the paperwork, feeling as if she were back at the hospital in Kumogakure, Hirihi filled it out quick and painlessly as she handed the form back to the assistant. "There you go." She said, providing anything else that the assistant might need to have her register for the event.

Once she had done everything required of her, Hirihi found a map on the wall that had an assortment of things listed on the upper floors. Dining areas, shops. Well, damn, why had she been so set on getting her supplies back at home?! She could have easily just gotten here and done it without having to carry the heavy items with her. Sighing and shrugging her shoulders, Hirihi moved towards one of the elevators and pushed the arrow to indicate she wanted a ride up towards the dining areas.

It hadn't been long until she made her journey towards the grand pyramid-like building which she was supposed to go to in order to register her name- Within it would seem to house a whole range of different rooms- No doubt there were shops, rooms, and she was pretty sure she could smell the scent of food cooking from within it, which suggested that there were places that you can dine, which was just as well, as she had arranged to meet for dinner with Kaeor. Entering the place she’d soon be faced with a reception where she’d be expected to place her name, and fill out any details that the Chuunin Examining board might require. Approaching the figure behind the desk she would then speak, registering herself so that she could participate in the exams.

”I’m Areru Sansutsomu from Kumogakure, here to attend the Chuunin exams.”

Once that was said, and assuming all was clear she would then turn her head somewhat towards the lobby that was near by the desk that she was currently standing at, seeing a whole load of different people, as well as- OH!

[/color] she had seen two figures which she knew- Hirihi Rinji- The young pink haired medic who she had been taught sensor abilities from, who was currently doing the same as she was doing by registering, and Kaeor, who had obviously come here earlier than she had, and had already registered, as he seemed to be waiting about. Giving him a nod and then giving Hirihi a quick smile before she seemed to fade off elsewhere in to the giagantic Pyramid, the Sansutsomu would then, after registering, move towards the blonde shinobi who she had gotten so aquainted to over the past few days.

”Kaeor! I assume you got here safely?”
Her words spoken and laced with some kind of caring tone, she’d await his response, hoping all was well, and also, waiting in anticipation as to if he was willing to take her out for dinner in one of the various places within this Headquarters. It would make for an interesting first date- Right?

..If you could count it as one.
..Dinner with a friend.. or dinner date?
Frankly she didn’t mind. The food would be delicious anyhow!

From the outside, the building appear large, and as Gin took his first few steps inside, his observations had been confirmed. It was massive and expansive. Many places to go, and see. He could only help but grin at the sight. It was almost as if he were under an illusion. Heh... the Samurai are really trying to get on the great shinobi nation's good side, aren't they? Gin rolled his shoulder and popped his neck, making his way over to what appeared to be a receptionist. As he approached the desk, the woman looked at his kasa, and saw the village symbol upon it. She gave a kind smile, insisting that he give her his name, and his village.

Without a word, he retrieved his ID and gave it to her. She looked over it carefully and then wrote something down. After giving him back his ID, she nodded, thanking him.

Gin walked away from the woman, he was going to grab something to eat and rest.

[Dagron Hoshigake]

The Summit HQ was a grandiose site from, but even more awe-striking as the shinobi-warrior approached. Even bigger than the Raikage tower, it was a massive structure that Ip could not fathom how long its construction must have taken. He had seen many genin Kumo enter the building, no doubt to register for the chuunin exams. There was more to this structure though. Ip knew that this would not only be the center for registering, but much, much more. Curiosity brought him nearer, pride drove him in.

Samurai and ninja alike cluttered the lobby and despite its large size, voices hard very little room to travel. The hustle and bustle finally pushed Ip into the receptionist's counter, where she eagerly awaited every shinobi who wanted to join the Chuunin Exams. At that very moment Ip's guts turned to steel and his gaze hardened. He must have looked every bit the part of a seasoned warrior instead of the stealthy, quick shinobi he was supposed to be. "I'm here to register for the Exams. Is this where I do that?" He finally said in a loud, assertive voice. To speak above the roar of guests, genin, and samurai was quite the task but his message got through and before long he had his paperwork filled and name processed.

Only the first step on a load road. After the menial task of registering was complete, he was given information on the main parts of the building where he could find lodging and food. Though that was the lesser of interests when he noticed how many Kumogakure ninja had come.
