[atrb=style,background-color: #d4d4d4; width: 308px;]     A SMILE CROSSED LENA'S FACE as she finally entered the summit after a couple days of hard travel. Her body was weary and she wanted nothing more than to fall asleep on a nice warm bed. She quickly walked foreward to the lady at the counter, a smile on her face. Lena was alone, though she hoped to be meeting with Toru and Shinori later, both of whom she didn't know too well, but had a feeling a blossoming friendship would be in order for them. "Hello, m'am. My name is Lena Kaiser from Kumogakure. I'm here for the exams" she said with a smile, showing her identification card. The lady handed her a key and Lena smiled as she headed up to her room, quickly throwing her stuff down and easily falling to sleep under the warm cotton sheets.

With walls that seemed to feed directly into the sky, there was plenty left to the imagination. Cries of the wind would curl around the long, thin legs of the shinobi as his white sandals would tread carefully over the snow that would pound the summit. His head shoved into the hood of his parka, he would make it a point to quickly rush passed the incredibly well defended gates. Lines of samurai would stand in formation at each gate. With every wall appearing to be a different checkpoint, it was obvious that the troops that would protect this compound were plenty in number, and unnerved in interaction. Showing no emotion, their faces would be hidden by incredible displays of armor that would serve to make these men nothing more than ghostly carcasses to the shinobi. As he made his way through each gate, he would notice the foot tracks being covered by the countless waves of snow and wind. He was not the first to arrive. Obvious with the countless number of shinobi he had encountered on his way to this very place, he would not be the last to arrive either. Through the white of the flurry, the faded silhouette of the building he had been directed to would become visible. That was his destination, and what a destination it was. The massive building would stand countless stories high, with a bleak design that would share the same architecture as the bland walls that would protect this fortress. Kurai's thoughts would run wild attempting to imagine what the inside would appear to be like.

Either way, as the shinobi would shove his way through the massive set of doors, the cool of the air would instantly die. In it's place, would be the wonderful warmth of a civilized atmosphere. The gargantuan fortress would nearly triple in size as soon as his foot would make it's way through the door. The lights giving a soft and relaxing feeling that would only add to the feeling of warmth that would now cover his body. The snow had begun to melt below his sandals, and as he made his way across the floor, his sleek golden eyes would meet those of the receptionist in which would appear to be waiting for him.

His hand would reach once more into his pocket as he would reach for the same identification book as he had shown the armored man on the bridge. The receptionists slender fingers would wrap tenderly around the leather bound booklet. Giving it a quick glance over, she would turn to her right, quickly typing a plethora of information into a small computer that would sit below the counter top.

"Another Kumogakure-nin. Ogon... Kurai-kun?" She would ask rhetorically, handing the booklet back to it's owner. "Welcome to the Chuunin Exams. Good luck." She would finish, speaking as though she had practiced the phrase for months before today.

Kurai would nod, giving her a lazy smile before shoving the booklet back into his pocket. On the counter top would sit a mug full of pens, no doubt for shinobi to register. While not having to use it, Kurai wouldn't miss the opportunity for a free pen commemorating his entrance in the Exams. Perhaps it was a gift he would give to himself in case he didn't succeed. Of course, he couldn't let that happen. Making his way to the elevator, the shinobi would give a quick glance back into his pocket, sliding his room information and key from the booklet to get a reminder for where it was that he was going to be sleeping that night.

Footsteps could be heard, as the slender frame of the youth pressed forth within the lobby. All who would turn, would see a mere boy with a sheet of snow covering his person, but it didn't affect him in the slightest; one of the great perks of being an Airontoku.

With a simple movement, the snow will fall off onto the ground and Toru would proceeded to the receptionist, "Yeah, Toru Airontoku from Kumogakure." He sounded rather confident when he stated those words, and showed his ID to approve what he was claiming. The person would write his name down and then simply give him his room key.

He quickly took hold of it, and decided to stay in the lobby for awhile. Several shinobi from his village could be recognize, and he decided to walk up to the one that possessed multiple tattoos, similar to Toru. "Sup bro, ready for the exams?

Everything was grand as Kaeor watched another of the exam participants enter after his own arrival. From what he noticed, Kumogakure was probably most of the competition. These days it didn't look as if any other village possessed the same amount of threat that those from Thunder had ironed out. The wrath of the bijuu had caused the number of potential future shinobi to dip drastically. Those that attended the exams today would only be the ones that managed to survive the rapture and hoped to continue their legacy. They were already those that survived the true disaster, could they truly end up reforging the world. There was little to nothing that was known for certain but today would be one of the inevitable goals that required passing by the few.

Before his thought could linger any more on the strife and opportunity of the world, he could hear a voice call his name. To his happiness, he could see Areru managed to safely find her way here. "Well well if it isn't you. And of course I managed to make here safely, I thought the same of you though and I thought I should've came with you here. But all looks well from what I can see with my own eyes at least." It was clear in his tone that he had been waiting for her and that was the reason he hadn't instantly went to his room.

But another figure approached him that was relatively new to his eyes. He hadn't seen this being before but he could only guess that it was someone from Kumogakure that recognized him. After all there village was just so populated it was hard to keep up with who was who.

"'Sup. And as ready as I'll ever be. The name's Kaeor and my friend here is Areru. And yours?" Kaeor would ask wondering who this dude truly was that had stepped up to converse.

[Areru]

Her words to Kaeor were soon responded to as he would comment that he had gotten there safely without any problems- What he said next was kind, and she appreciated it, as he at least seemed to be looking out for her. She had had friends in the village before, but they had all gone elsewhere with other people- Not that she was a loner, but it was nice to have at least a few stable friends that she could depend on sometimes. "I'm glad- And of course- Who do you take me for? But thank you. I had a few last minute things to do." the tone of her words changing as her lips curled in to a cheeky grin as her eyes descended to the whip upon her hip- Wearing her cloak it was slightly undetectable underneath the thick fabric, but you could see a bit. Two almost identical-looking bullwhips lay on each side of her hips, ready for combat. After gazing at them, she'd then look around for a few moments at the interior of the building itself, before shifting her crimson gaze back to Kaeor himself. And-

"Sup bro, ready for the exams?

A voice would appear as if from nowhere as a shinobi who was similar to Kaeor in appearance as far as hair and tattoos went. Had they known each other? Upon listening to what Kaeor had to say to him it would appear as if not, as he introduced both himself and herself to him. With a smile directed towards the newcomer, his name as of now unknown, she'd take note of his headband, which also bore the symbol of Kumogakure. From the people she had seen pass through, a lot of the competitors were from her home village. It would be of cruel fate if she was to end up fighting one of her kin, that was for sure.

But, the exams had just started, so she was pretty sure there were enough foreign ninja to go around for everyone to be pitted against.

Areru's eyes switching from Kaeor to the other blonde shinobi, she'd await his response, so that she could perhaps enter a conversation with him alongside Kaeor.

More and more walked in. By now, the bulk of the Genin had shuffled into the halls of the Shadow Summit, escaping the blistering cold of eternal iron winter in favor of the warm, toasty atmosphere that lingered within. The halls were filled with echoes that resounded of excited dreams and young hearts hopeful of the prices that lie ahead. And then there were the quiet ones...

It looked like the Exams would be good this year!

I casually strode into the summit, eyes wandering about the front room. I had finally made it here, in time for the exams, but I hadn't got any information about who else from Kirigakure would come. A few were selected, but I hadn't seen them since the Mizukage announced the preliminary bouts.

Taking my hood off, I revealed my tumbling golden hair, it fell to my shoulders, twisting along my backside. I walked towards the front desk, a smile touched my face from the excitement that was welling up inside me.

"Kirigakure's Masumi Hozuki. I'm here for the exams."

I spoke haughtily as I presented my identification card. She gave me a key to my room moments later. Nodding I took my leave of her, headed for the room. Maybe a little bit of shut eye would do me some good.

[Noboru]

Noboru finally made it to the Summit where the chuunin exams were supposed to take place. He had traveled here from the lightning country with one of his team mates. His other team mate had been unable to come with them though she had seen them off. He walked into the lobby of the place and looked around, spotting lots of ninjas who he presumed were going to take part in the exams. He looked around some more and spotted the front desk where he could register.

Walking up he began to register, he told the person his name "Dokuzetsu Noboru, from Kumogakure no Sato. I am here to part take in the exams along with my team mate," he said then after filling out information he went to look around the lobby and stuff.

Stepping into the massive building he followed the others to find his way. Towering over the majority of them he decided to make his own way to the front desk. Placing a hand atop it he leaned forward slightly, offering the pretty lady behind it a smile. "Hello there, Fuu's the name and this would be my identification card.

[/color] Handing her his ID card he waited for her to hand it back and once she did he nodded, taking his room key and making his way to his designated room.

He could use a little rest before journeying around the whole place, hitting up the shops and entertainment that were offered. Oh, how all of this was going to be oh so fun! Laughing he glanced about, so many chumps, would any of them put up a fight? He was sure one or two would, maybe even three. But, nothing to worry about, he had the confidence of an apex predator surrounded by baby tuna.

I’d make my way through the home of the Samurai’s actually impressed by their composure and neutrality taking up the Exam was a big responsibility. Following behind one of my teammates I’d make my way into the Shinobi registration area.

The summit was one of the amazing parts of this place being able to house so many as well as serving for the main registry area, though my enthusiasam was high my facial expressions didn’t show it even as my I.D was requested by one of the Samurai’s. In a dull manner I’d stare at the armored warrior and quietly as to not disturb the others tell him what he needed to know. “Akegarasu Akiyuki Genin of Kumogakure... Reporting for the exams. ” After giving my name and home I’d take begin filling out the paper work.

[Areru]

[OOC: I have to go off for a camping trip that lasts three days, so doing this post so those who are RPing with me don’t have to wait Came off the mountain. Edited a bit!]

Keenly watching through the corner of her scarlet eye Areru would take a look at those who were registering at the office- The ones that sped through now she hadn’t known who they were, but the identification of their headbands told her easily of what village they were from. Her guess from before; that Kumogakure had the largest amount of competing genin, was probably true, as she had seen many register at the desk in the last few minutes- Although, as she stayed still, her eyes then turning back to look at Kaeor and the currently nameless shinobi, she couldn’t help but feel strange. Over the past hour or so she had been suffering from a minor yet gradually worsening headache, and now- ”….Mph!” Nausea hit her like a ton of bricks and her arm, as if by automatic reaction, rose up to her head, her hand clasped gently over her mouth- The corners of her eyes tearing up a little bit from the sudden coming of it, she wasn’t going to spew all around them of course, no, that wasn’t her style.

Lurching forwards as she then deemed it safe to remove her hand from her mouth she would then take a few deep breaths, before turning sharply to Kaeor;
”I-I’m sorry- I don’t feel so good- Can we go get some water?”

Her head darting forwards once more as the process begun again, her hand wound raise up to her mouth once more as she would then remove it from her face once the situation was deemed safe and would give Kaeor one last reassuring smile before then looking around for any signs of a cafe where she could perhaps get some plain tap water- The travelling had taken a bit out of her, and she was quite happy to remember that tap water was free of course. She wasn't going to buy a bottle of water for a sum of ryo- What a rip off! Water when free tasted better anyways.

My my, even more! And what's this, so close to the closing date? The attendant frowned at first, mostly due to her frustration over working long hours, but once she saw a picture of her own kids (once aspiring Genin), her motherly resolve returned. As such, her once miserable face was wiped clean, a cheery smile placed forth as the next batch of contestants were admitted.

It seemed our future was looking better than the naysayers anticipated!

It was time, yet some of these children still lingered about. 'Tch', and worst of all, I'm the one that's been charged with ringing them in. Honestly, couldn't they just be on time...? Sighing I strode steadily among my detail of assistants assigned to me. Each arm assigned them a different location to head to round up the remaining students, and once I was confident we covered the whole floor, I'd approach the highest perch I could find. Hopefully my booming voice could help move things along.

"SQUIRTSSSS!!!"

"ROUND ONE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! REPORT TO PROCTOR DIAGO OR ELSE I WILL FAIL ALL OF YOU!"

The queasy feeling that lay deep inside her soon seemed to pass after a few moments, leaving her with a slight headache that pounded at her head at the current time, although her face bore the same, content expression that she always had- Even so, a bit more peppy after that dizzy spell had passed her. Looking over at Kaeor, then at the other blonde shinobi, she was about to say something to the both of them when-

"ROUND ONE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! REPORT TO PROCTOR DIAGO OR ELSE I WILL FAIL ALL OF YOU!"

With this threat having been said by someone who no doubt in was in some kind of charge of the exams, she'd then turn her gaze from the figure on the balcony who had shouted at them, back to Kaeor again. "Right- We should get going if we want to pass these exams- I'll see you there." a pause would occur as she'd then take a single breath, before speaking; "Good luck--- To you both." of course, this was spoken first towards Kaeor himself as she'd flash him a smile, before she'd turn towards the other tattooed shinobi, nodding her head curtly. After this was done, she'd make her way out of the lobby-like area, and towards where the first round was to take place.
